Mini-Bridge: accessing files

I am unable to access files/folders via the mini-bridge in PS. When I click "computer," or my user name, or favorites or anything else in the mini-bridge drop-down menu nothing happens.

For some reason Adobe won't let me sign back in to post but it appears as
if the PS mini-bridge is working OK now. Have no idea why it wasn't
working as advertised yesterday; didn't do anything differently today.

I have Photoshop CC 2014 on my Mac and cannot find Mini-bridge under file, window or in the online add-ons.

Was Mini-Bridge discontinued in Photoshop CC2014? It is not under the file or Window menus. I cannot find it under add-ons on line. I have a Mac, is that why I'm not seeing it? Any help would be very useful.

Opening files through mini bridge, from within photoshop.

When opening files/images from within photoshop use adobe mini bridge, the files open slowly with a long delay?
Can't figure out why, but when files are open directly from photoshop it is lightning fast.
Running on a iMac OS X Yosemite
Version 10.10.2

Okay.. Yeah, that's why I'm running Windows 7 still
This may have to do with some of the bugs Apple introduced into Yosemite. They are working on a fix. Can't really think of much else, other than make sure everything is up to date. Maybe someone with more knowledge of Mini Bridge will find this post.

I can not access Mini Bridge

Greetings, I have a problem with CC Photosop 2014 I can not activate the Menu-Window-Extensions, I can not access Mini Bridge. In the File Menu- Bridge I can access without difficulty, but using the window Menu- Extensions are not enabled. Working on Mac platform

Try closing the iTunes App, reboot the iPad and then try again.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the iTunes app that and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
You don't have multiple Apple ID's do you? No content restrictions in Settings>General>Restrictions>Allowed Content>Music & Podcasts?

Browse in Mini Bridge is not Available under File Menu in Photoshop CC

Recently installed Bridge CC and Photoshop CC in Windows 7 enviornment. "Browse in Mini Bridge" option is not available under the File menu. I reinstalled Bridge CC, rebooted, yatta yatta, but no Mini Bridge option. Any ideas how to get it to install/come up?

Mini Bridge is no longer available, so it's never going to show up again. All Flash-based extension panels were removed from Photoshop, and Mini Bridge was one of them. More info here:

I've just had to reinstall photoshop due to a pc crash but now I've reinstalled I can
't view my files in mini bridge. Bridge itself is fine. Do I need to reset something?

Usually a reinstall does nothing as the preference in Bridge is unaffected. If if worked before the crashyou can reset your preferences by holding down the Ctrl key and starting Bridge. You should get a reset window with 3 options.

Mini Bridge: how to clear recent files/folders?

Hi all,
I am a new user of Photoshop CS5.1 Extended and have a question about Mini Bridge. My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, and I'm using the 64-bit version of Photoshop.
My question is: how do I clear the Recent Files and Recent Folders lists from the navigation pane of Mini Bridge?
In Bridge itself I have set the 'number of recent items' to zero. I can't see any equivalent setting in Mini Bridge.
The reason for asking is that prior to purchasing and installing the Production Premium Suite, I demoed the Web Premium Suite, including Fireworks. Even though Fireworks is now uninstalled and I can find no reference to it in the Windows Registry, Fireworks has its own submenu of recent files in Mini Bridge. I can't figure out where this information is stored.

Ok, I just figured this out.
In Bridge (not Mini Bridge), it's the Reveal Recent toolbar icon, then "Clear Recent Files" and/or "Clear Recent Folders".
This is a bit counter-intuitive, considering that "number of recent items to display" in Bridge was already set to zero, but hey ho.
Just thought I'd post this in case anyone else finds the thread and is curious.

Pressing 'O' in mini bridge review mode doesn't open file in Photoshop

New Photoshop user here and going through the basics.
When using Review Mode in mini bridge I can cycle through the images using left/right arrows and open the image in front in Camera Raw using the 'R' key, but pressing the 'O' key does not open the file in Photoshop as I understood it was supposed to. Am I missing something obvious? Pressing the 'O' key does nothing at all.
Using Photoshop CS6.

Unfortunately this did not do the trick.
I've got the exact same issue on two systems, both Windows 7 based with fresh installs of CS6 and Lightroom 4.
Spent a good 45 minutes on the phone with Adobe support and they are scratching their heads as well. For now looks like using review mode in mini bridge would be a great way to open up files you want to work on, but in reality it doesn't work. The tech I've dealt with at Adobe is having the exact same issue as well.
Not quite ready for primetime...

Can't drag files from Mini Bridge

It's seems as an issue but I can't drag files from Mini Bridge to workspace thought my colleague can do that. Is it a problem with my configuration or internal bug of photoshop CS6?

Can't open a bunch of files at once from Mini Bridge

Hi,
I am working on timelapses made of RAW photos, and when I try to open over a hundred or so from Mini Bridge to ACR, nothing happens.
Opening this many from Bridge, however, works fine.
What gives?

I'm wondering what's your 'Open' operation? Do you drag&drop onto Photoshop application, or double-click to open the selected raw files, or right-click to use the context menu?
Notice that in mini Bridge, when only select one raw file, 'Open in Camera Raw...' menu item will appear in the context menu. While when select more than one raw files, the menu item won't show out in the context menu.

Mini Bridge in CS6 InDesign won't sort files

I am running CS6 on Snow Leopard.
When I open the mini bridge panel in InDesign I can't sort any files in the Nav Pod. It has no effect on the file sort.
I have updated the CS software and reset my bridge preferences. Do you have any other suggestions?
Bridge works fine.

I have 8 MB of RAM. I restarted all the software, but not my computer.
It is in the left column that I am having the problem.
There was a previous discussion thread where a user on Mountain Lion was having the same issue, but it wasn't resolved in that discussion thread either.

Mini bridge - show open files?

when bridge was first born as file browser, and integrated into PS did it have the ability of displaying the open files in PS?
I'm "kinda" hoping that a bunch of people are going to jump all over this conversation and say... of course it can do it now!
I'm very old-school and don't like the tabbed windows interface, I'm generally tossing layers around and windows are easier for me, but.... I could see that this would have some use if I was using a smaller display and if I could also use mini bridge to show thumbnails of the open files and use this to switch tabbed images. Or, if I could drag layers onto the thumbnail in Mini Bridge and subsequently bring that tabbed image to front.

I needed to set the file type association in preferences.
