Miro line item indicator
Dear Forum,
In miro line item, there is a drop down list on indicator. There are 3 item to choose from but I would just like to ask on
1 planned delivery costs
2 goods/service items + planned delivery costs
What is the implication of choosing 1)planned delivery costs or 2)goods/service items + planned delivery costs?

when we say that we only want to settle the planned delivery cost, then we go for settling the planned delivery cost,
now the question arrises that why do we go for settling this only, this is done when u have ur main vendor different from the supplying vendor, generally at that time we settle both the costs differently,
and when we have the the main vendor acting as a the delivery vendor also, then we settle both the cost together...

Pls find the reasons for the same

It means that the PO line item has GR based invoince verification and no GR has been happened yet.
2) when PO number is entered, item lines not grey out but quantity and amount fields empty
It means that that the GRN has been happenned for the PO line item and invoice is also happenned for that GR.
3) when PO number is entered, item lines not grey out and quantity and amount fields with value
It means that GRN is processed for the PO line item and no IR has been happenned
4) all in all, how system decides to populate or not to populate value in columns in miro line item
The main setting depends upon the GR based invoice verification indicator in the PO line item.

Onpen line item indicator in GL account
Hi,
The GL account was not intailly active for open line item management. there was some posting made to that gL account. Later all the posting of that particular Gl account was reversed. now the balance of the GL account is zero. Now i tried to change the GL account to activate the open line item indicator. I encountered an error stating the account balance is zero but open iten still there.
can you please advice me on the same.

The extra line items will be generated when there are any exchange rate diffrences are there then only shows.
Other wise it wont show those extra line items
Please check group currency , global currency etc. for your extra line items -

All,
When a purchase order is created to a cost centre, G/L account and cost centre are entered manually. Often Purchase Order only uses short text field as reference, ie, Material is not mandatory.
MIRO process is then done for PO after GR, and the PO text (short text) is copied into MIRO.
G/L account line items can be displayed in FBL3N, detailing the document numbers related to the invoice/PO once posted.
The field "Text" is defaulted as blank, even if created with reference to a PO which contains text. Does anybody know of a way to automate process so that the text field is populated with the text from MIRO.

You can transfer what ever the data from the MIRO to Accounting document using BTE.
Goto SE37 - SAMPLE_PROCESS_00001120 (this is the standard BTE for account document posting). copy this with ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00001120.
In this you cannot modify the tables t_bkpf and t_bseg. you can use t_bkpfsub and t_bsegsub.
For this a little bit config is required.
1) Goto t-code FIBF-> settings->Products->... of a customer.
Click new entries -> product name- ZPRODUCT , text - any text, RFC dest - ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00001120, A - enable check box -> save.
2) Go back -> settings -> P/S Modules -> ... of a customer.
Click new entries -> event - 00001120, Product - ZPRODUCT, Ctr - Country key, Appl - FI-FI, Function module - ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00001120 -> save.
3) Go back -> settings -> Process Modules -> ... of a customer.
Click new entries ->Process - 00001120, Ctr - Country key, Appl - FI-FI, Func module - ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00001120, Product - ZPRODUCT -> save.
Now goto SE37->ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00001120
logic.
loop at t_bkpf.
loop at t_bkpfsub.
move 'your value' to t_bkpfsub-value.
modify t_bkpfsub index sy-tabix.

no need to worry abt modified values. after execution of BTE it will go to standard prog and copy the values of t_bkpfsub] and t_bsegsub[ to SAP tables. so pls be perfect with code. SAP wouldn't allow change the values in t_bkpf] and t_bseg[ values. you can add your own fields in bkpf_subst and bseg_subst.
But make sure that, pls write the code in FM with conditions like cocode doc type etc. bcz this BTE is very important. it will executes before acc doc is posted.if you do not specify any conditions it will execute for all co codes in acc doc. it will affect business. you can debug this BTE. put a break point in FM and see the values while post the MIRO.
once import the values free memory id and clear the variables what ever u used in BTE.

After MIRO posted which with reference to PO, I create another new invoice with reference to the same PO again.
1 When PO number is entered, both quantity and amount fields empty and the item lines are still enabled despite invoice already posted. Why?
2 What would be the impact if I enter quantity and amount again?

1. As per SAP standard, amount & qty field is not view mode. Reason is we are allowed to make any changes if there is any partial postings. System will show the line item without any value or qty in that particular line item if it has been already posted because originally both field is enable mode. If you want you can make this field grayed out with abapers help BUT you can't do any partial postings.
2. You can enter value & qty is empty field and click post but system will give you warning message saying that plz check is there invoice posted. You can post again by ignoring this warning message. Means you will have double invoice for said line item. Probably you may make warning message to error message so that system might disallow you to do so. Believe this help your queries. TQ

MIRO - Line item proposal - GR lines already processed
Hi Experts,
When doing MIRO we are observing that system proposes the same line twice once with line values from recent GR + it also shows line items with amount and quantity = Null which have already been invoice before.
We have recently activated BF: LOG_MAA_1 and i believe this behavior is coming from that BF.
I am not able to find any notes around this, please share your experience and fix you may have already applied.

Thanks in Advance.What you are seeing for completely invoiced lines is a standard behavior. You can as the user to use the remove/refresh button as Dev has shown.
However, for partially invoiced items with MAA, there is a program error that proposes a 0 quantity. Please have a look at this note:

I have got the help about this subject and quite clear. Thanks for all have helped.
Now I need to confirm 1 more part.
Assuming in PO there are 2 scenarios where gr based iv is ticked and also not ticked, after both GR and miro done (complete the process from PO until book vendor invoice in miro), I purposely do another miro invoice type referring to these 2 PO.
I just wonder why the item line still enabled with quantity and amount fields empty? I thought the line item should be totally grey out?

As Std SAP practice system will populate the line item with enable mode even though MIRO fully done for said line item. But any how message will prompt if you enter amount & qty again in empty field & wanted to post the said line item as stated below;
"Check if invoice already entered under accounting doc. no. XXXXXXXXX 2010". Probably you may refer to abapers to have user exit to control this field.

GR amount/line item still showing in Open Item after run F.13
Dear Exparts,
We run the F.13 after MIGO and MIRO. The GR/IR line item should clear after run the F.13. But the scenario is that in FBL3N in GRIR G/L Balance, MIRO Line item showing clear but the GRN line item is still showing in Open item. How can it possible and what to do for it. As per my knowledge Both line item should clear after run f.13.
And how can I get the credit amount in which respect the IR(MIRO) amount cleared.

In the Automatic clearing Program for the items to get cleared they
should meet the fixed criterian and the user defined criteria (OB74).
When we execute SAP124(F.13) with the flag "only documents which can
be cleared" it will display in detailed list only those documents that
can be cleared. If dont check this field it will generate a list even
of documents that cannot be cleared.
For example:
in the OB74: ASSIGNMENT,FUND & BUSINESS AREA as the criteria.
And the ASSIGNMENT is not matching and thus the system does not find
the item suitable or rather eligible for clearing.
The system groups items according to
fixed system criteria:
Company code
Account type
Account number
Reconciliation account number
Currency key
BSID-WAERS for customers
BSIK-WAERS for vendors
BSIS-PSWSL for G/L accounts
Special G/L indicator
The program also groups items according to a maximum of five user
criteria. Note that the trading partner number and the business area are
no longer fixed system criteria (in comparison to the former clearing
programs SAPF123 and SAPF123W). Therefore, if you want to group by
business area or trading partner number, you have to enter these as user
criteria.
Thus initially items are grouped according to fixed criteria one of
which is company code.

BADI: ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST Detecting a Deleted Line Item?
I have implemented this BADI for mapping and for defaulting GL Account Numbers that we read in a custom ZMAPPING_Table. All of my gl account mapping logic is in the 'PROCESS_ACCOUNT' method in this BADI. Just an FYI, there is some code in the 'PROCESS_ITEM' method in this BADI, for another process, as well.
It is important that I keep track of the line items and their related GL Account Numbers, Material Groups, and all other line item data entered data during the create and change of a Purchase Requisition in a global internal table during runtime. It is working well.
The issue is that I need to identify when a line item is being deleted in the P.R. during runtime Then, I can delete the entry in the internal table as well. When I delete a line item in the P.R. the logic always seems to break in the 'PROCESS_ITEM' method, and never the 'PROCESS_ACCOUNT' method.
Is there a delete line item indicator, variable, flag, or field, that I can check during runtime in the 'PROCESS_ITEM' method in my ABAP code to see if a line item is in the process of being deleted in the P.R.? it would probably be easiest to validate this in the 'PROCESS_ITEM' method during runtime since we have some code in this method, and it always enters that logic when a line item is deleted. Below are the objects that are being read. If someone has the answer, I'd sure be happy to get the OO code for it as well, since I am still getting my feet wet with OO.

Is it OK. For Central Inv. & 1st P.pmt. indicator, the help document says it is used in Argentina only.
We have not yet proceeded for payment stage. Still MIRO has to be completed for the MIGO done
for last line item and thereafter the payment will be done. It is right to clear the downpayment
for the 7 invoices generated now so that this error will not come during MIRO for 8th line item.
In the meantime, I will also go through the SAP notes referred by you.

My client wants to restrict appearing blank line items agaisnt already used Purchase Order Items (Full Qty GR / IR happened, GR Based IV) in MIRO so that user can not book another invoice against the same PO with diffrent ref. no. and in date.
Is there any way (User Exit / Screen Variant) we can make it?

Even if I set Final Invoice Indicator in MIRO and booked invoice against the PO systems is showing blank line items (Amt & Qty are blank) in MIRO agaisnt the PO.
Can you please run the scenario and tell me is there any way that we can restrict system showing blank line items against already processed PO items in MIRO. I have tried booking invoice agaisnt individual del note but blank line items are there.
