Miss alignment of Product Group types ato subsequent product group number..

There is a miss-alignment of Product Group type to subsequent product group number. Incorrect Product Group Number being assigned to the incorrect Product type, which ultimately has resulted in line items not being available in the Procurement Catalogue.

Hi Atul,
We are using SRM server 5.5 with as support Pack 6 and CCM with a release 200_700 with a support pack SAPK-27006INCCM.
The issue is in Catalogues. Some of the items in the catalogs are missing.
Awaiting your feedback.

    thx in advance

    Hi,
    Check with OPPQ..
What is the Planning Strategy you are using??

  • Component group type assignment in call components in JIS

    Hi All
How Component group type assignment is done  in call components ?
Edited by: mayuresh  bhurke on Jan 20, 2012 8:25 PM

    Hi Mayuresh bhurke,
How the system will does the job:
The system carries out this function automatically, each time a JIT call is received. In this way it assigns each call component transmitted to a components group type. The components group type then takes on the internal control of the call components.
With sequenced JIT calls for assemblies, the system assigns several call components to the same components group type. With the other call types the call components and the components group type form a logical unit and the system therefore assigns a different components group type to each call component.
In the components group determination the system compares whether the characteristics of the call components match a components group type. As soon as it can assign a call component, it continues with the next one. In the profile for the components group determination you can define with which priority the system should consider the various characteristics. The system determines the relevant characteristics of the call components as follows:
    JIT customer
The JIT customer is made up of the sold-to party and the partner description and can therefore be taken from the IDoc.
    Unloading point and assembly location
The unloading point and, if necessary the assembly location, are also transmitted with the JIT call. The system can also take these characteristics of the call components from the IDoc.
    Components group material
The JIT customer generally transmits the components group material with a call. You have several options for defining the components group material of the call component before the components group determination.
You can realize an individual components group material determination using a customer exit. This is particularly recommended for sequenced JIT calls for assemblies, due to the large number of variants.
If you use the process for discrete materials, you can transfer the material of the call components as a components group material.
If you use the process for discrete materials and exactly one components group material can be assigned to a call component, you can transfer the configurable material of the call component as a components group material. To do this you must have entered the configurable material in the material master of the call component in the tab page Basic data 2 in the field Cross plant conf.mat.
    Production version
You can also assign the production version using a customer exit. The production version allows you to assign two otherwise equal call components to different components group types, to produce them on different production lines, for example.
    There are also call types:

  • Define production order type

    Hi all
I'm intending convert Plan Order to Production Order. but Order Type (Production Order Type) not define.
Now I want to define Order Type. Maybe Production Type defined but not assign with Plant.
Could you please tell me how to do ?
    Thank and best regards,

    HI,
Pls check in Material Master Work Scheduling View, Production scheduling Profile is missing.
You need to maintain Convert Planned order section in Plant Parameter (OPPQ) or MRP group(OPPR) which is assigned to the Material or Production scheduling profile as pointed out by the other member.
There are a priority how the order type will pick.
    1. System checks production scheduling profile in material master.
    2. If not found, production scheduler in MM.
    3. If not found, MRP group
    4. If not found, Plant parameter.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • IPC: Condition Types attached to material group

    Hello all,
I am working in a ECC - IPC scenario and needed your help.
I implemented a IPC userexit(scale base formula) which corresponds to a condition type ZDCV which implements a discount for the products.
When this condition type is attached to a material (in tcode vk11), the corresponding discount rates are displayed in the webshop via IPC.
But the problem arises when we attach this condition type to a material group.
In the product catalog of the webshop, the IPC is able to determine discounts for individual materials but not for those materials contained in material group.
Your inputs will be very helpful.
    Thanks and Regards
    Deepika

I think you have to do some logic in that userexit... you have to get the whole quantity of material group and have to pass that value in the scale base formula..
    Thanks and Regards

  • Production order type dependent parameters

    Dear Frndz,
plz help me out with the various parameters which can be set based on the production order type. and the step by step procedure to configure the same.
    Regards,
    Srini.

    Hi,
Pls. find the step by step procedure as below :
    Define order type-dependent parameters
In this step, you define the parameters that are valid for each order type and plant. The parameters are split up as follows on the tab pages:
    Planning
    Master data
Here, you define the data that influences master data selection or order master data maintenance:
You can decide whether production versions are selected automatically or manually.
The task list application is predefined as 'P'. However, you can also specify an additional task list application.
The routing selection ID defines, for example, the ranking order for routing selection.
Routing selection defines whether routings are to be selected and if so, how (manually or automatically) and whether reference operation sets can also be selected.
Alternative sequences and sequence exchange define whether alternative sequences are permitted and how the sequences are to be exchanged.
The task list type defines which routing type is permitted for production orders.
Operation dtl check defines whether operation detail screens are to be checked when the operations are transferred to the order.
Routing text defines that the text from the routing header is copied into the order.
You can activate the entry tool for operations to help you when you create operations.
BOM application defines how the BOM alternatives are to be automatically selected.
Search procedure defines how batch determination is to take place.
    General
Substitute MRP controller/substitute production scheduler are proposed when you create production orders if an MRP controller or production scheduler are not specified in the material master, or if there is no reference to material.
Reservation/Purch. req. specifies whether certain order objects (operation, components) are relevant to MRP.
Collective purch.req. enables collective purchase requisition per order for externally processed operations or non-stock items.
Inspection type defines how a quality inspection is to be carried out.
    Implementation
    Status change documents
Here, you define whether you want change documents to be written if a status change occurs. You also define the level at which the change documents are to be written.
A status change document contains the following:
    which status has been changed
    who changed the status
whether the status has been activated or deactivated
the transaction in which the status change has been carried out
In the production order, you can define the status at the following levels:
    order header level
    operation level
    material component level
    production resource/tool level
Status change documents can also be defined independently of each other, at each of these four levels.
    Note
If you have defined these parameters such that status change documents are written for a particular order level, the SAP System only writes a status change document for a status change from this point in time if the order (or operation/component/PRT) has been created since the status change documents have been activated.
    Shop Floor Information System
You can specify, for example, whether order data is to be stored in the Shop Floor Information System. You can carry out reports using this system, for example, for materials, orders and work centers.
    Documentation of goods movements
Here, you can specify that goods movements are to be documented with reference to an order. Then you can display goods movements, for example, using the order information system.
You can enter a profile for displaying documented goods movements on the tab page "Display profiles".
    PDC
PDC active allows data to be exchanged with a PDC system.
    Workflow
Workflow for PO chg. defines that a workflow is generated when quantities or dates that affect existing purchase orders are changed in the order. In addition, a default rule for the split is displayed on this screen.
So that this indicator is also valid for production orders the appropriate settings must be made in Customizing for the Project System.
    Progress determination in orders
You can determine that progress values are calculated for order progress reports.
    Controlling
    Controlling
Here, you define the parameters relevant to controlling, such as, for example, costing variants for planned and actual costs and a results analysis key.
    Distribution rule
Default (distribution) rule defines an automatically generated distribution rule for CO settlement.
    Display profiles
    Collective order display
Graphics profile defines how the collective order is to be displayed.
    Graphic:
Here, you define parameters for displaying graphics of operations and sequences in the order.
    Missing parts list
ProfMissPrtsLstOrdNo/PrfMissPrtLstCollOr defines how the missing parts list is to be displayed.
    Documentation of goods movements
Goods movements defines which profile is used for displaying documented goods movements.
    Activities
Create the necessary parameters for the order type.
    HOpe this helps.

    Tejas

  • Production Order Type Configuration

    Hello All
While doing customizing for production order types i.e. OPL5 transaction we have come across "Release Versions". Can you let me know the relevance of the same?
    Regards
    Hary

    Hi Hary,
A production order passes through different events, most common of them are
    Production order (Create, Change, Release),
Confirm operation(- Partial confirmation, - Final confirmation)
Confirm production order:(- Partial confirmation (for first confirmed operation),- Final confirmation (for last operation final confirmation))
Goods receipt posting for order:(- Partial delivery, - Final delivery)
    Goods issue
    etc,.
The release version is the version at the time of the release of events.
If production orders are changed quite often during your work, the target and actual values will align more and more so that the target/ actual deviation will no longer be correctly calculated. By using the release versions, you can counteract this problem.
The level of details are defined by header, item & operation.
    Hope it helps

  • Error Message for new production order type

I have created a new production order type and gone through all the configuration requirements that I'm aware of.  In testing this new order type, I get an error message in transacion CO02 when selecting the printer icon. The error is as follows:
No reference document type defined for order type ZRWK
    Message no. CO179
ZRWK being the new order type.
I've searched through many posts and found nothing relating to this message.  Hopefully someone has encounted this before.
I'm sure I've missed something, but can't pinpoint what it is.
    Help is greatly appreciated.

Bob, did you check your print parameters?..Maybe you don't have your sap forms..You can check it with Tx. COPI
The path is Print - Print Settings - Configuration Menu.

    Hi All,
I want a report in which i can see variances of production order type wise and can compare that with other types also.
means my input should be as follows
                1) Company Code/controlling area
                2) Plant
                3) Order type 1
                4) Order type 2 and so on.......

  • How to compare the variances of production order type and get report

    Hello All,
I want to compare the variances of production order type wise.
for ex. i want variances of order type PP 01 and PP 02 in a single report.

    Hi Sachin,
You have to maintain summarization hierarchies to achieve this.
    1. Maintain summarization hierachies with hierarchy level - order type in the t.code.KKR0
    2. Generate the hierarchy in KKRC
    3. Run the report KKBC_HOE

  • Order type and Item category group

Can anyone tell me which is the relation between order type and Item category group from material master ??
In fact the problem is that I have created a material and when I want to create new sales order it gives me this errror:
"No item category available (Table T184 ZORDER ZITGR)"
Is there a tranzaction where I can assign Item category group ZITGR to sale order type ZORDER or something like that??
    What should i do?

    Hi Dan,
Goto T-Code VOV4 and maintain the table
Sales Doc type + Item Category Group + Usage + Higher level Item Category = Item Category
    TA + NORM + Nil + Nil = TAN
If you have Customized your own Document Type and Item Category Group and Item Category then give your
Sales Doc type (ZORDER)+ Item Category Group (ZITGR)+ Usage + Higher level Item Category = Item Category (ZTAN)

    Hi Sreedhar,
What you've mentioned is exactly the task of CRM Middleware, which sits on the CRM server and governs the data flow.
By any chance are you trying to find out about DOE(Data Orchestration Engine) used by SAP NetWeaver Mobile ?
maybe this link would help then:

  • Production order type creation - OPJH

    Hi gurus,
At production order type (OPJH) I have created, SETTLEMENT PROFILE as declared u201CSD1u201D
But while creating production order (CO08), SETTLEMENT RULE , u201CAccount assignment categoryu201D as MAT.
To correct this what and where all to be checked ?
    Regards,
    Ram Krishna

    Hi ,
KGI2 is the one which you should execute irrespective of whether the scenario is Maek to Stock or Make to Order. This facilitates absorption of those overheads which are related to Production activity.
Overhead run on Sales orders is carried out only to absorb Non production overheads. Check the following if the result is not coming -
Whether are there any overhead keys defined for absorption Non prodn overheds ( Sales Overheads , Admin Overheads etc., ) .
If yes , then whether there are % ages maintained for the respective overhead keys.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
Have you done an init on 11 extractors.
If not do an init (Filling of the Setup tables) without any selections.
What I think is happening here is that in your init selections you have put a numerical range for the document numbers. Thats why the alphabetical docs are not comming.
Check this and let me know if this helps.
