Missing data in my report

Hi all;
Here is my Issue; I am running a report which has 0project and 0app_requ as an attribute of 0project. In my update rule, I have mapped the 0app_requ with a routine.
select single * from /BI0/PPROJECT
       where /BIC/WPSPRJPRO = 'Z_DD_AT' and
       PROJECT = COMM_STRUCTURE-PROJECT.
  if sy-subrc = 0.
      RESULT = /BI0/PPROJECT-APPR_REQU.
  ELSE.
    RESULT = ''.
  ENDIF.
But, In my report eventhough the project is under 'Z_DD_AT' , for some of the project I am getting '# ' for 0appr_requ. ; pls anyone tell me what am I missing here.
This is a production issue. ..so pls help.
Krishma.

question: do you have 0app_requ and wpsprjpro defined as attributes of 0project?. In BCt version I don't see them.
observation: a better code would be:
select single APPR_REQU from /BI0/MPROJECT
where /BIC/WPSPRJPRO = 'Z_DD_AT' and
PROJECT = COMM_STRUCTURE-PROJECT AND
OBJVERS = 'A'.
if sy-subrc = 0.
RESULT = /BI0/PPROJECT-APPR_REQU.
ELSE.
CLEAR RESULT.
ENDIF.

  • How to analyse a problem in BI ( Example missing Data in a report )

    Hello;
    What is the best procedure to analyse a problem missing data in BW. the question could be unclear but I am looking for a method to determine directly and without taking long time in follwing the dataflow to be able to say that we have a problem getting a field A ou B.
    Regards
    Anis

    Hi Anis,
    you can debug data flow or let's say specific data load between 2 objects e.g. datasource and DSO or DSO an cube etc... you can track down e.g. like specific sales order was loaded e.g some specific field is treated within the load (e.g. in case there is ABAP routine used). However it is always better to start either from:
    top->bottom = report->datasource (source table or extractor checked)
    or
    bottom->top = datasource->report
    and go layer by layer (or infoprovider by inforprovider) to see if particular value is still there.
    cheers

  • Has anyone else gotten an email supposedly from Apple saying you had missing data and to update? I went to update, gave some info only to see they wanted my credit card info and money. How do I report this and to whom. Impossible to contact Apple.

    Has anyone gotten an email saying your system was missing data and to update? I went to update, gave my email and password just to find it wasn't really Apple
    but, wanted my credit card and money. Did not follow up. Where and how do I report this to Apple. Seems impossible to contact them.

    Forward it to [email protected] and then delete it.

    Continuation:
    Next I ran Setup Plant Maintenance IS (transaction OLPM, program RIPMS001). I used values as follows:
    Info structure = S115 (your value would depend on what report data you are updating. You can fine the Info structure for you report by running the standard analysis PMIS report, then using the menu Extras > Selection Log to see what Info Structure is used).
    Save Under Version = &(  I left this as defaulted in by SAP. It appears this is a temporary version name that the data will be compiled into. Later on you copy it over to version 000.
    Temporary Version = \  I left this as defaulted in by SAP
    Server group = I left this blank
    Number of parallel Processes = 1. When I used a value greater than 1 it caused issues with the Oracle SAPARCH file getting filled up. BASIS recommended  I use a value of 1.
    Name of Run = I left the defaulted value created by SAP
    Package Size = 1000. I used the value defaulted by SAP
    New Run = blank. I unchecked this. It appears that if I checked this it did not update all historical data.
    Block all documents = blank I left this value as defaulted by SAP
    Merge Parallel = blank I left this value as defaulted by SAP.
    I then ran in background.
    When finished I executed my PMIS reports using the temp version &( so I could check the data. However in order to be able to select the temp version on the report selection screen, I had to set user parameters MCR = u2018Xu2019 (Menu System > User Profile > Own Data > Parameters tab.)
    Once I was happy the data was correct I executed Setup: Copy/Delete version (Transaction OLIX, program RMCSISCP). I executed in two steps: delete old data then copy new data.
    I deleted data for my Info Structure and version 000.
    Then I copied data for my info structure from  the temp version u2018&(u2018 to version 000. I left all other selections on this program as defaulted by SAP.
    Some SAP notes that may be useful: 64636, 779840, 112841
    Hope that helps

  • SCCM Reporting: Software Updates / Apllication the "Installed date" is missing or null in reports

    When the “V_GS_Add_Remove_Programs” or “V_GS_Quick_Fix_Engineering” queried for installed date (the views that contains information  on updates/application
    installed date),  the “installDate0” Column returns “Null” or is
    "blank" on most of the rows.
    The machine in this example is “X”
    2. As you can see from the machines X's add remove Programs installed Date is given clearly.
    Appreciate your help on this as its for an audit report of windows updates and applications installed date, I know that some applications do not populate this value but my argument is if its visible from Programs and Features why isn't the data being collected.

  • Help needed with missing data problem in CRVS2010

    We recently upgraded the reporting engine in our product to use Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 (previously engine was CR9). Our quote report, which has numerous subreports and lots of conditional formatting, started losing data when a quote took more than a single page to be printed. We knew the SQL results included the data, but the report was not printing those lines at all or sometimes printing a partial line. In addition, the running total on the report would exclude the lines that were being missed on the next page. In one example submitted by a customer, 3 lines were skipped between pages.
    I think I have identified two potential issues that document the possibility of data not being included in the report.
    The first potential issue is an issue with the "suppress blank section" option being checked. This issue is supposedly fixed with ADAPT01483793, being released someday with service pack 2 for CRVS2010.
    The second potential issue is using shared variables. This issue is supposedly fixed with ADAPT01484308, also targeted for SP2.
    Our quote report does not explicitly use shared variables with any of the subreports, but it does have several subreports, each in its own section that has the "supress blank section" option checked. We have other reports that use this feature, as well, and they are not exhibiting the problem.
    One different thing about the quote report is that it has a section with multiple suppression options selected. The section has a conditional suppression formula, which controls whether the section is included at all within the report. The section also has the suppress blank section option selected. There are multiple fields within the report that are each conditionally suppressed. In theory, the section's suppress formula could evaluate to true, yet all of the fields within the section are suppressed (due to null values), and then the "suppress blank section" option would kick in.
    The missing data only seems to happen when the section is not being suppressed, and at least one of the fields is being included in the report. If I clear the "suppress blank section" check box, and change the section formula to also include the rules applied to the fields in the section, the missing data problem seems to be resolved.
    Is this related to ADAPT01483793? Will it be fixed in service pack 2?
    If more details are needed, I would be happy to provide a sample report with stored data.

    Hi Don,
    Have a look at the Record Selection formula in CR Designer ( stand alone ) and when exported to RPT format opening that report in the Designer also.
    There's been a few issues with => logic in the record selection formula. It could be you are running into this problem. Look for NOT inserted into your selection formula.
    Oh and SP2 is coming out shortly so it may resolve the issue. But if you want you could purchase a support, or if you have a support contract then create a case in SMP and get a rep to work with you to debug the issue.
    If you have not try the Trial Version of CR 2011, put it on a VM-ware image or Test PC so you don't corrupt anything for production and have a look at and test it in that designer also. If you purchase a case and it is a bug then you'll get a credit back for the case.

  • Missing Data from Legacy System

    Hello All,
    My client went live end of January this year. They had a month of transaction data in their legacy system which they did not bring into SAP. Since this is their first year on SAP and recently implemented Extended Withhold Tax one month data is missing; when they run the 1099s at the end of the year they are going to be reported incorrectly.
    How can we bring over that missing data from legacy system over to SAP without having to clear those invoices in SAP?
    Thank You In Advance

  • URGENT!!!!  - Reading Archived Data from a Report.

    Hi,
    The data, prior to 15 months, of some tables (BSEG, BSAK),
    used in the report YGF11347 has been archived.
    Previously this report YGF11347 was run for vendor payment information for any time frame
    through FBL1N.  So any vendor line items from 2004, 2005, 2006 and current year,
    all data elements were available to be extracted and displayed on the report.
    Recently the Check Amount is missing when executing the report for payments made prior to
    04/01/2006. This is because of archiving the data prior to 15 months.
    My requirement is tht i need to display this archived data also in the report "YGF11347".
    Can anyone please help me on this issue.

    select *
    from apex_collections
    where collection_name='users'I got a 'No data found' for this report... I try this very basic example to understand collections, and I don't know what I'm missing...

  • SSRS 2008 R2 - Missing Data when Exporting to Excel or CSV (Row Count is 500)

    Hey Folks,
    When exporting SSRS 2008 R2 report  to an csv or excel file not all the rows are being exported. Any suggestions on why this is occurring. The number of rows is less then 500 and it seems to be a pretty straight forward export. Any help is
    greatly appreciated.  Inherited this and not sure if this would be configuration issues or something else. It is happening on a number of reports.
    Thanks.

    Hi Humbly,
    According to your description, when you export report into CSV or Excel format, some rows are missing.
    In your scenario, since you are missing data “rows” in your exported file, we are guessing if you have any visibility setting like toggle which hide those records. It’s possible that you have set toggle or visibility in your report. After exporting
    Excel/CSV, some data might not appear properly. In SSRS 2008 R2, it has reported this kind of issue about data missing after exporting. However, those scenarios are not exactly same as your issue. It mostly turns out be conflict between data and “layout render”
    and related to DataElementOutput property. DataElementOutput property controls export behavior, it indicates which report item data should appear in Excel/CSV render. For more information, please refer to this article: Reporting Services:
    Why aren’t all my report columns exporting to CSV and/or XML?.
    As we tested in our environment(SSRS 2008 R2), no matter what we export into CSV or Excel, we get same results as in BIDS . So I would like to know your report design structure. If possible, please provide some screenshots about results in BIDS and Excel/CSV
    render extension results. It may help us find out the root cause of your issue. Thank you.

  • Error while creating Data Form Definition report from Planning

    Hi All,
    Working on Planning 11.1.2 (x64)
    I tried to generate a Data Form Definition report from Planning and found that I get an error if I select the option "Include member selection list". By going a bit deeper, I realised that it errors for some forms while works fine for others.
    I have tried to find any differences in setting or selection between the forms but haven't been able to see anything that struck me as a reason for error.
    Help please.

    ATA bus error means that data corruption occurred during transmission over ATA bus (SATA or PATA). This type of errors can be indicated by
    ICRC or ABRT error as described in the section called “ATA/ATAPI device error (non-NCQ / non-CHECK CONDITION)”.
    Controller-specific error completion with error information indicating transmission error.
    On some controllers, command timeout. In this case, there may be a mechanism to determine that the timeout is due to transmission error.
    Unknown/random errors, timeouts and all sorts of weirdities.
    As described above, transmission errors can cause wide variety of symptoms ranging from device ICRC error to random device lockup, and, for many cases, there is no way to tell if an error condition is due to transmission error or not; therefore, it's necessary to employ some kind of heuristic when dealing with errors and timeouts. For example, encountering repetitive ABRT errors for known supported command is likely to indicate ATA bus error.
    Once it's determined that ATA bus errors have possibly occurred, lowering ATA bus transmission speed is one of actions which may alleviate the problem.
    I'd also add; make sure you have good backups when ATA errors are frequent

  • Date data from Crystal Report one day less than Date from Source

    Hi,
    I am creating a Crystal Report 4.0 for Enterprise Users (Client Version only) based on a BEx query. I have a field called 'Date' that I am bringing over from the BEx query. It has a format of MM/DD/YYYY. When I view the 'Date' in Crystal Reports, it is displaying as 1 day less from the actual data. For example, in the BEx Query, 'Date' = 11/01/2011.  In Crystal Reports, it is showing up as 10/31/2011, which is one day behind.  I'm not sure what's going on.
    Please help!

    Well, this is as weird as it gets!
    Here are the observations on SP02:
    1) The Date Characteristic is a day off in the report while the 'Key' shows correct date
    2) It displays in the '30.01.2011' (DD.MM.YYYY)format
    3) When you right-click this field to change the date format, the date option is missing
    4) You create a formula to see if this is a date and it returns True. The formula you can try is :
    isdate(). It returns False for any other function like isnumeric() etc
    5) So, this is a date filed, or CR4E thinks this is a date field, however doesn't let us change the format
    6) You cannot use this field with date functions like cdate(); weird!
    7) The only way you can show it the way you want is to write this formula:
    *mid(,4,2)&"/"&left(,2)&"/"&Right(,4)*
    This is still a string field, however displays as MM/DD/YYYY.
    In Crystal Reports 2011, however, the following formula on the same date field returns a date value, meaning you can further right-click this formula field to change the date format like a normal date field:
    cdate(tonumber(Right(,4)),tonumber(mid(,4,2)),tonumber(left(,2)))*
    The same formula, however, throws a 'String is non-numeric error in CR4E and I found that it doesn't like this:
    *tonumber(Right(,4)) ; same error
    I've tried a lot of combinations to make this a date field in CR4E, however none works!
    So, the only option is to use the formula that I mentioned above.
    P.S: If you install Patch 2.10, you'll notice that the Characteristic value shows the correct date. For some reason though, it is in the same format as the 'Key' and if we wish to change the date format, the only possible workaround is to extract the numbers and join like I suggested above.
    Hope this helps!

  • Grouping to display null values for all the missing dates

    Hi SAP,
    I am trying to display '0.00' value for all the missing dates in my crystal reports as follows:
    17-Jan-14     40.00
    18-Jan-14       0.00
    19-Jan-14       0.00
    20-Jan-14     80.00
    However, my crystal report is showing as follows:
    17-Jan-14     40.00
    18-Jan-14       0.00
    19-Jan-14
    20-Jan-14     80.00
    The missing dates with no data are group together and my '0.00' value is not. Kindly advise me the solution. The formula is shown as per attached.
    Thank you.
    Regards.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
    Fyi, I am using a formula field in crystal report to display "0.00" for days in between as follows:
    whileprintingrecords;
    if Days_Between({Command.DocDate},next({Command.DocDate}),'dd-MMM-yy') = "" then "" else "0.00"
    There is another formula field in crystal report to display the missing dates in between as follows:
    whileprintingrecords;
    Days_Between({Command.DocDate},next({Command.DocDate}),'dd-MMM-yy')
    Below is my report custom functions:
    Function Days_Between (datefield as datetime, nextdatefield as datetime, format as string)
    ' This function is only used to display what data is missing within a specified date range...output type is text
    dim thisdate as date
    dim nextdate as date
    dim output as string 'output is the text display
    dim daysbetween as number
    dim looptimes as number
    looptimes = 0
    daysbetween = 0
    output = ""
    thisdate = datevalue(datefield) + 1
    nextdate = datevalue(nextdatefield)
    if nextdate - thisdate > 1 then daysbetween = nextdate - thisdate else daysbetween = 1
    do
    if nextdate - thisdate > 1 _
    then output = output + totext(thisdate, format) + chr(10) _
    else _
    if nextdate - thisdate > 0 _
    then output = output + totext(thisdate, format)
    looptimes = looptimes + 1
    thisdate = thisdate + 1
    loop until looptimes = daysbetween
        Days_Between = output
    End Function
    The issue arise when when there is more than one missing dates in between but the null values ("0.00") displayed is only for the first missing dates and not for all the missing dates.
