Missing file for Contribute compatibility

I have a site where two of us are using Dreamweaver and
others are using Contribute. We want to all be checking files in
and out. The other person using Dreamweaver gets this message
whenever he checks a file in or out:
The file required for Contribute compatibility does not exist
on the sewrver, Would you like to turn off Contribiute
compatibility?
He's been clicking NO and everything is working fine, but
it's a real annoyance and we can't find any information about what
file that would be or how to get it on the server.
Let me reiterate: It's WORKING - files get checked out, files
get checked in, no one is stepping on anyone's toes. We're just
dealing with a really irritation error message.

as a guess- that user has the remote site defined to a
different folder
level. So dreamweaver isn't finding the _mm/contribute.xml
file at the
defined site root.
does this hosting require public site files to be in a
specific directly
like www or public_html or httpdocs ? If yes- it may be that
they are
logged into the private ftp root instead of using the Host
Directory line in
the site def. to put them in the correct directory.

It sounds like you need to recover some missing files but do not have access to the iWork '09 disc you used to install it. If you have a Time Machine backup and know what files you need, you can use the "Restoring specific files or folders" section of the following article to restore them:
Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac
If you do not have Time Machine, you will need the disc to reinstall the software suite.

Windows 8.1 missing files for HP C310 Printer

I have a new computer running Windows 8.1 (64 bit) and an existing HP C310 pinter - when I down loaded the driver ex the HP site, upon installation it was missing files ... what is the fix?

I would like to suggest:
Uninstalling the printer using this Removal Utility - LEVEL 3
Fully restart your PC
Reinstall the printer by using this HP Printer Install Wizard

Missing files for my Live 5.1 digital card (90

Hi I have this Sound Blaster card that I purchased as an OEM card and had to download the drivers for it and it is a very good sound card as have all my other previous Sound Blaster cards. My problem is that I cannot find anywhere to download all the other files that would have on the CD normally supplied with a card. I need to be able to transfer li've recordings made on a portable minidisk recorder, on to the PC and or the CD writer.
I can play the minidisk through the line in on the card no problem but with out the normally associated Wave recorder etc that is on the original CD I cannot actually transfer or save the recordings.
Can anyone point me in the direction where I can locate the missing files or obtain a replacement CD for my card? I'm based in Essex in the UK.

I doubt your card is?a 9000 as such if it's an SB li've!. I know where you are seeing this number, but you need to look on the card itself.
Your looking for something like this on? paper sticker on the card.

How do I go about finding some missing files for ITunes

I am having problems retrieving itunes since I tried to install itunes 7.5. The message that is coming up is when I tried to windows can not run itunes because some files are missing, please reinstall itunes. Have tried this but same thing happens. Go back through the forum. Someone suggested downloading the previous version and where to download it at. There is a problem with the upgrade. I've been having problems with my computer, and I thought this was the straw that broke the camels back. I know the problem is not on my end, it's itunes. Look back through the forum, I think it's posted having problems with Itunes 7.5. That's where I started. Just got done downloading the previous version, it worked for someone else.

SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) - Missing files for the Studio?

The installation of Netweaver Developer Studio seams to be quite incomplete: there are all the eclipse plugin-ins missing and several SAP plug-ins too (Installation wizard ends with the error message: the following files where not found on the installation media:....). On the downloaded DVD-iso the plug-ins are also not present.
Was that a problem with my download (which i don't think, cause the server installation was successful and it's up and running)?

How can I get missing files for Classroom in a Book?

I bought Classroom in a Book for Premiere Pro CS 5 and some of the lessons are missing the audio/video that I need to complete these lessons. I know this isn't directly an Adobe problem, but I'd appreciate it if someone knew a place online I could go or someone at Adobe Press I could email to deal with this problem.

Missing file for VIA4.43 driver update

I just downloaded the 4in1443v.exe driver and ran the 'normal' install. I then found that one of the installations leaves windows searching for a driver file - you know, where you have to point it to a file location to find a .inf file. This was looking for the driver for the "VIA Standard PCI to ISA Bridge". What on earth am I supposed to do here? I don't know where to seartch for this file. If I cancel, I go through the same ritual on every reboot. Should I have this file somewhere?
System is a K7TTurbo2, Athlon Tbird 1.4GHz, 256RAM, Windows98 SE

Extract or "unzip" the exe. file with WinRar into a seperate folder and on reboot, point to that folder.
Should install without a problem.

I am trying to test the MyApp (Sample J2SE Application on the OC4J Service Guide chapter 8), but I could not find the java2.policy and the jaas.config for MyApp. Can anyone tell me how to locate these files? Here is instruction on the Service Guide.
To start the application using the RealmLoginModule:
1. Go to the computer on which the J2SE application is installed.
2. Start the security manager and test the application at the command prompt:
java -Djava.security.manager -Djava.security.policy=java2.policy
-Djava.security.auth.policy=jazn.xml
-Djava.security.auth.login.config=jaas.config MyApp

Saving data files for backward compatability.

I am currently saving the data in my appplication as a datalog file (LabView specific). The data contains strings, clusters, arrays etc.. so it's not a case if simple Binary data)
The problem I have is that the software/program is always being developed and more variable added to be saved. This software is kind of in use and I therfore need the old data files to be backward compatible with the new program.
With datalog files, you have to provide an image of the exact data file structure to load, so obviously with the new data structure, the old files will no longer load. How can I over come this? Is there a simple way.
The only way I thought of, was to save my data in.csv format. For example, I would save an exce
l/array matrix of say 20 x 100 which would give me 2000 cells to work with (plenty). I could then save all my data into this file, but always saving a 20x100 matrix, so even if I update the program in the future to save a further 5 data values/clusters etc.. for example, the saved matrix would not need to change and it would simply have the same image, but with 5 more cells filled.
Would this work?
I theory it sounds feasable, but do you have another/better method.
At present, I am using datalog file I/O and simply save a few extra blank clusters/doubles etc.. so I have a bit of scope to add thing, but this is not aceptable really.
There would also be other benfits for me if I use a .csv excel file, but it's not critical, other file formats will also be ok.

It sounds like your question would be better answered in the general LabVIEW forum. This forum is for questions regarding the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module, which is an add-on software package for LabVIEW. Your problem could be solved by using the DSC Module, but your question does not sound like you are thinking about using the DSC Module.
