Missing flash.utils.* in code complete upgrade from 3.3 to 3.5 framework

Hi All,
I upgraded my 3.3 framework to 3.5 today, and for some strange and inexplicable reason, I've lost all code completion in Flex Builder 3 for flash.utils.* classes. I am thus missing Dictionary Timer and a few other important classes.
I'm hoping that someone out there might have come across this before, or be able to give me a bit of a clue as to how to fix this issue. This is a tooling problem with Flex Builder rather than the code itself, so anyone with any insight, I would really greatly appreciate the help.

Its a Unicode problem.. Check this..

2. Uninstall current Flash Player.

Z T-Codes. Upgrading from 4.6 to ECC6.0

Hello All,
We are upgrading from 4.7 to ECC 6.0. I want to know if am not going to enable the GUI Support(SAP GUI for HTML, SAP GUI for JAVA & SAP GUI for Windows ) in ECC for Custom tranction Codes what would be the impact on the ECC System?.

Hi santi4u,
You will get number of types of errors as ECC 6.0 is highly dependent on other non - SAP applications like HTML,Java etc.
It will tremendously affect the functionality.
Hence it is better not to do it.

Missing table variants in SE16N after upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6.0

After Upgrade to ECC 6.0 ,certain variants for standard tables like MARA,MARC,EINE,EINA etc....in SE16N are missing.Can anyone help me to restore the variants.

If you didn't save them they are gone - you can't restore them if you didn't run the report before (from where do you want to restore?)
On top of that, if you have tables, that changed during the upgrade, the variants won't work any more.
I suggest you write a report or use queries to get your data instead of using SE16N.

Attachments appear missing in CRM 7.0 after Upgrade from 6.0

We use CRM for SSMS functionality to create help desk tickets which can have documents attached to them which are stored in and retrieved from content server.
All was well in the land of CRM 6.0.
Since the upgrade to CRM 7.0, when viewing an SSMS ticket, the link to an attachment does not appear on the screen. Also, a new attachment can not be created.
I am looking for help related to this from a couple different viewpoints.
a) Has anyone experienced something like this and if so, what was the resolution or what have you learned so far.
b) In our ERP system, we use transactions like CV04N to search for document information records and subsequently view the documents the DIRs are linke to in our content server. CRM does not have a CV04N transaction. Is there an equivalent / similar transaction or program in CRM that I can use to view DIRs and even display a document from our content server via CRM?

For the issue that the "Create attachment from template" is grayed out in an upgraded CRM system, the templates will need to be recreated in the new environment.
Login to CRM WebClient as the standard salespro role
Navigate to Sales Operations -> Document Templates
Click New and recreate all of the templates used in the previous version
After this is done, the create attachment from template link will be enabled.
In CRM, when you add attachments through the regular "attachment" link, there is a section that allows you to browse the content management server and all the documents. You should check if all the previous documents are still there.

Code completion

Hello,
Since upgrading to java 1.4 where JCE has been included in the SDK I'm missing codecompletion in for the JCE classes. The sunjce.jar is in my classpath, and my java files compiles just fine. The compiler also finds javax.crypto.*
What am I missing to get the code completion work. I'm using JCreator 3.10
Code completion works in any other case. It is only JCE classes that is making the problem.

If I choose properties for my project I see the path to the sunjce.jar Shouldn't that be it.

How to redeem code to upgrade mount lion?

I purchase redeem code to upgrade from mac osx leopard to mount lion.. went on apple stores to redeem code coming up with errors message MUST BE REDEEMED IN THE MAC APP STORE in short unable to upgrade its quite frustrating.

I think you are using the iTS by mistake?
Click on the Mac App Store icon on the doc instead.

Prepping to upgrade from 10.2.8 to 10.4 -- problem with Disk Utility

I have an 17" iMac that I'm preparing to upgrade from 10.2.8 to 10.4. In preparation, I did the following:
* Mounted a new external HD (LaCie) (my second one)
* Backed-up all personal files / folders to the new drive
* Ran Software Update to check for any recent updates - updated iTunes (6.0.3) + an iPod update
* Ran Disk Utility to repair permissions (which I do whenever I've installed or deteted software) -- Have never had any issues, but this is where my problem started.
Repair permissions hangs at the end (status bar to the very end), and it appears to be working on permissions related to iTunes (sorry, will have to run Disk Utility again and follow-up with the specifics). I ran it twice with the same result.
I saw other threads suggesting that the problem may be with the latest iTunes update (recommending moving the iTunes application folder to the desktop and rerunning Disk Utility), but it seems specific to 10.3. Could this be an issue with 10.2.8 as well. If I can successfully complete repairs to permissions (with the above workaround), can I proceed with the 10.4 upgrade, and if so, what should I do with the iTunes application folder (keep it on the desktop, or move it back)?

Cornelius ... thanks for the follow-up. I went ahead and tried both methods, although I should note that I didn't show the iTunes.pkg or iTunesPhoneDrive.pkg files in the Library>Receipts folder as described in the two approaches. I had no luck at all with Kappy's solution (I moved the one file I did have -- iTunesX.pkg -- and Disk Utility stalled as before). I moved iTunes.pkg back to its original folder, and tried the first method you described. I moved the iTunes app to my desktop, and I was able to successfully repair permissions. I trashed two files (iTunes3.pkg and iTunes4.pkg) and left the iTunesX.pkg file as instructed (again, I don't show the iTunesPhoneDriver.pkg file at all). I reran Disk Utility with the same faulty result.
I suspect it may have something to do with the missing files. Any thoughts on that?

Sorry I misunderstood you. Actually you don't move
your iTunes folder at all. Here are a couple of
procedures. Since I have not had to use it I can't
vouch for either, but I have heard both have worked
for others.Just to catalogue the
solutions listed above
Here's what I did, and it worked fine.
1) Move iTunes onto the Desktop.
2) Run Disk Utility
3) Go to HD>Library>Receipts and trash all iTunes
.pkg files EXCEPT for iTunesX.pkg and
iTunesPhoneDriver.pkg
4) empty Trash.
5) move iTune from Desktop back to 'Applications'.
Hey presto. you should now be able to repair
permissions again.

1. Navigate to the /Library/Receipts/ folder.
2. Locate the iTunes.pkg and iTunesX.pkg files and
move them to the Desktop.
3. Run Disk Utility and repair permissions.
4. Move the .pkg files back into the
/Library/Receipts/ folder.Note that you
are not moving the iTunes folder, but the .pkg files
from the Receipts folder. In the first method you
Trash some of them, in the second you move them back.
But you don't touch the iTunes application as such.

I have upgraded from Mountain Lion to Mavericks, since then my Adobe Flash Player don't want to work?

Hi, can anybody help me please, i have upgraded from Mountain Lion to Mavericks, since then my Adobe flash player don't want to work.
I clicked on update and downloaded the update from Adobe and installed it.
Every time i get an error saying - "that this wasn't downloaded from App Store".
i can not find it in App Store.
What must i do?

Try this: in your Utilities folder launch Adobe Flash Player Install Manager and run it to completely uninstall Flash. Then go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download Flash
Once downloaded, double-click to open it and run the installer. If you get a message saying the file can't be opened, or similar, Control+click or right click and select 'open' and should then be able to proceed to install it.

I can not upgrade from 10.2 to 10.6 because of missing "itunes.msi" file. How do I repair it? I can not remove itunes and start over.

Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Flash builder 4.5 code completion doesn't show public function

I am migrating from flex3 to flash builder 4.5 and it shows a question mark at one of my lines.
No errors, and the code works fine when i run it.. only there is no code completion in flash builder.
My code:

i get a question mark in front of it: Call to a possibly undefined method closeprogram
code completion doesn't recognize my public functions inside the mymenu component, it does see mymenu but when i hit .(dot) it doesn't give me a list of functions.
How can i get code completion to work? Are there changes in the way you call as files in flash builder 4.5? Please some help.. code completion makes life much better.

I found why the nasty behavior above was happening ::- D.
I usually design my classes in Enterprise Architect. Since this is a rather large project, started from of about 30 classes, I did the entire architecture in EA, then, generated the code.
But, EA has poor AS3 support. And as a consequence, it has a few issues, such as the way it generates CONSTRUCTORS:

How do I upgrade from Adobe Flash Professional cs5.5 to Adobe Flash Professional cs6?

A couple of months ago, I was told by the live support team of Adobe, that I would be able to upgrade from flash cs5.5 to flash cs6 mac version, then I can change that to the windows version for $100. Now I am ready to upgrade and switch, but I am unable to find the upgrade for the USA, only for Africa. When I go to change the country to USA, it brings my to a cyclical clicking of links that never leads me to the actual flash cs6 purchase page, it only brings me to the purchase page for Flash CC, which I don't want. I am skeptical that the flash cs6 purchase page with Africa as a location was even a legitimate adobe webpage. Here is the page I was brought to by google (google was the only thing able to bring me to the page, I can't find it via adobes website) : Adobe Store - Adobe Flash Professional CS6 - Upgrade. I don't want to have to download from overseas (Digital River Ireland Ltd.) if this is even legitimate. The fine print said international purchases may incur an extra charge by my bank which I would love to avoid. Someone please help me, my Macbook broke last year and I have had a digital copy of the mac version of flash cs5.5 for a few years which I payed 700 dollars for, and now I have a windows laptop and the mac version of flash cs5.5 is useless to me now unless I can solve this issue! Upgrade From CS5 To CS6 Problems With Flash Graphics?

Hi People.
I upgraded from Adobe CS5 to CS6. I originally built a printable book and developed an interactive version in InDesign CS5, which I finally exported to Flash. For the printed version I used Adobe illustrator to create the book images and for the interactive version I converted the images into SWF.
The upgrade from Adobe CS5 to CS6 went well for the InDesign printed version of the book and I exported the new CS6 version of the printed book to PDF. However when I opened the old InDesign CS5 interactive version of the book in InDesign CS6 I was missing the links for the images.
When I tried to relink the images I was told `Cannot place this file. No filter found for requested operation:.
Please please help me because I am 2000 images in the new CS6 interactive version and short of going back and replacing each one individually, I am at a loss.

Yes I can place the old SWF file into a new CS6 document and that works well, but I`m talking about 3 books of a total of nearly 10,00 images, which is a lot of time of replacing old for new,
Maybe I`ll stick with the interactive books staying in CS5 because I can`t see any material benefit of upgrading them to CS6, unless they were to be EPuped from their present CD Rom format?
However I do think it is a dreadfull oversight of Adobe not to stop me be penalized in a large slice of my profession, interactive second language book production, for the good intent of upgrading my CS Master Suite,

How I completed a faultless upgrade from 2.2.1 to 3.0 on my 2G Touch

I used a similar approach when performing an upgrade from 2.2 to 2.2.1 while other folks were having a lot of issues.
1) Sync your Touch to iTunes 8.2, delete all of your music, video and Apps
2) Use "Reset" to return all settings to their factory defaults
3) Confirm that your Network settings have been reset, resetting them as needed
4) Fully charge the battery on your Touch, then eject and disconnect
5) Close and reopen iTunes, then purchase the 3.0 upgrade
6) Reconnect your Touch and allow it to Sync with iTunes
7) When prompted to upgrade to 3.0 , select download and install later
8) Eject your Touch and allow the 3.0 installation file download to complete
9) Reconnect your Touch and allow it to open and Sync with iTunes
10) Allow upgrade to 3.0 to take place when prompted
11) Wait for upgrade to complete, the Touch will reboot and Sync with iTunes
12) Configure your Wifi and other settings, then manually Sync with iTunes
13) Eject your Touch, close iTunes, then reconnect your Touch
14) Allow your Touch to automatically open and Sync with iTunes
15) Load your music, video and Apps onto your Touch
16) Manually Sync with iTunes once more and then eject
17) Enjoy the new features in 3.0 and don't look back

If your Mini shipped with OS X 10.7 Lion, then it was considered a 2011 build model, or before.
The Mini 2012 model, is considered a Late 2012, & the last one where RAM could be upgraded.
And it shipped with Mountain Lion 10.8, which is a fairly OK system if one had older software.
(However mine shipped in Dec 2014, with Mavericks 10.9.0, and was built in January 2014.)
There were a few different build versions of Late 2012 Mac Mini, the i5 or i7 processor,
in dual-core or quad-core, and some CTO or built-to-order versions with other specs.
You can buy Mountain Lion from online Apple Store, & use a download code emailed to you to
get the Mt. Lion 10.8 from Apple Servers; this would be about it, since Mavericks isn't available.
So hopefully that is an option you can exercise; in addition the computer may prefer more RAM.
