Missing images in "Connecting to iTunes U" page
This is a minor issue but when the "Connecting to iTunes U" response comes back from Apple after a successful login, the response contains several images paths in the HTML and the CSS that are referenced without the full http path and therefore don't get displayed correctly.
e.g. on of the rounded corners of the box is sourced as src="/rsrc/Images/boxline/opener_tl.jpg" rather than src="http://deimos.apple.com/rsrc/Images/boxline/openertl.jpg/rsrc/Images/boxline/openertl.jpg"

Did you make a backup because you can't recover what's on our phone. Follow these steps to resotre your phone (the phone has to be plugged into your computer):
1) On your phone, press your sleep button for 2 seconds
2) After the two seconds, don't release the sleep and press the home button for 10 seconds
3) Release the sleep button and keep the home buttton pressed untill your computer detects your phone.
4) A window should pop up and you should have the restore button. Press it. -
to turn on my ipod, I get an image of connection to iTunes, but when you update iTunes, nothing happens. I restarted the iPod manually several times peero still appears the same image. how I can make it work?

After updating my ipad to ios7 it is on recovery mode. Then I tried to reboot it and it shows an image to connect to iTunes. I tried to connect to iTunes and restore it but it says ipad could not be restored and an error occurred. What can I do now???

My iPhone 4S froze and was locked at the connect-to-iTune graphic screen when I attempted to upgrade the software to 5.1.1. It is now dead!
5.0.2 has not been released, thus you can not upgrade.

I did the new update for iOS 6. Afterwards it says it had to restart and it did. Then the image saying to plug into iTunes appeared. I plugged it in and it says it is in "recovery mode".. Not sure what to do? I really don't want to wipe it clean, have it alot of info saved. What can I do? Can I take back the upgrade back? I need this fixed quick.
Your device is in recovery mode. All data on it are gone.
Certainly you backed up your device before attempting something major like a software upgrade right? If you didn't perfom this most basic of tasks, then your data are gone. -
I downloaded the new update on my iphone 4 and now its stuck on a screen where it shows a usb pointing up towards the itunes symbol, and i have tried syncing my phone to itunes to finish it but itunes wont detect my phone. What do i do? Please help
Do exactly as the image suggests, connect to iTunes and restore.

hey my iphone 4 gsm is now stuck on the image on connecting to itunes i tried restoring and after 3/4 it would stop and a message would come up saying error -1 and now i cant even turn it on ive done it 5 times now and very fustrated

IPhone 6 will not connect to itunes on the initial setup of the phone.
Once the sim card has been inserted, the iPhone asks to be restored from a backup on itunes and asks to be connected the the itunes account. Once connected the phone makes the connected noise and begins to charge, however the image saying "connect to itunes" stays on screen. The itunes on the pc also doesnt recognise the phone and the next stage of the initial setup cannot take place.

I tried restoring iPad1 to prepare it to sell, encountered error during the restore. iTunes dispalyed a message that there had been an error. My iPad1 is just showing the image to connect to iTunes, even after i try restarting the iPad1. I've also restarted my PC and iTunes will not recognize the iPad1.
iTunes is and will recognize my new iPad3 just fine.
How do I get my iPad1 to come back to life?
Thanks!No luck. The article says to press and hold the home button, then plug in the usb cable. When i do that, I still just have the connect to itunes image on the iPad, and iTunes is not recognizing the iPad.

I was updating IOS 6.1.3, my iPod touch 5th generation crashed and it showed The image: USB connecting to iTunes LOGO. I waited along time but nothing happeded. Is it in recovery mode or something? I don't know. Please help. Even I plugged in my USB to my pc it doesn't work! It shows nothing but in my iPod touch it shows the USB connecting to ITUNES.

Ok so i'm not very techi....phone connected to itunes to sync so I can transfer photos, request for upgrade i think it's 7.2. Phone goes into connect to itunes mode and wont shift. I have no idea if backed up to icloud and really don't want to lose photos
if you are seeing the image of connect to itunes then all data on your phone is gone.
you will need to do this to get the phone working again. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
if you backup on a regular basis, then you can use that backup after the phone is done restoring. -
My iTunes playlist page on PC is frozen and I cannot connect to store for purchase. I missed an iTunes update download this week and I don't know if this would fix a bug. How can I recover this download to have the latest update.

I have a 2nd generation iPod that won't do anything but display the Apple logo for a brief second then an image of the cord suggesting it should be connected to iTunes.
