Missing In-Reply-To headers

When sending replies to messages, the phone is not sending any In-Reply-To header of References header for replies, which is breaking threaded mail.
This seems pretty amazing since In-Reply-To has been around even in the original RFC822 spec of 1982...
X-Mailer: EPOC Email Version 2.10
Is there a good reason for this??

  • To, CC, Reply to headers are grayed out in Mail message

    Hi All,
    I recently moved from SL to ML. Not everything was smooth, most probably because i'm using low level features/configurations, but that's ok.
    I noticed that some of my mail messages headers are light gray, while other are black as they should be:
    - To - Gray
    - CC - Gray
    - Reply-To - Gray
    - Resent-From - Gray
    - Delivered-To - Black
    Also, Subject header name is missing.
    See the following picture:
    Is this the expected behavior ?
    Thanks for your answers.

    Hi James
    You say Kuler, but the Kuler panel was renamed to Adobe CC Color Panel, and is available here: https://creative.adobe.com/addons/products/2507#.VMZi3EesXqo
    So just to clarify, please check that you are installing this version, and not the old Kuler panel which is no longer compatible with CC 2014.

  • Mail Yosemite: icon "send"missing when reply to an e-mail

    Dear all,
    I upgraded my macbook air to yosemite a few days ago. Everything went smoothly, but I have a problem with Mail.
    Every time I click on the icon to reply (or reply all), a new window opens and I can write my answer BUT at the top of the window, all the icons are missing (see the image in attachment).
    Then, the only way I have to send the e-mail is to save the reply as a draft and then re-open the draft. Only at this point the icons appear again!
    Could someone help me? Has anybody had the same problem?
    Cheers.

    sorry i should have been more clear - this is an issue on my i-phone not my MAc Book

  • Missing SENT & REPLY email msgs after installing Security Update 2006-008

    I'm using Mail Version 2.1 (752/752.2) to handle my Mac.com and Comcast email traffic.
    Today I realized that I cannot access/find any of my outgoing email messages sent prior to January 2, 2007. Any emails that I sent prior to that date are missing from my "SENT" mailbox(es). Also, whenever I click on the "Reply" icon next to an incoming email that I answered (prior to 1/2/07) a window pops up with the following message:
    "Mail was unable to find your response to the message “(fill in the blank)”. You may have deleted the message."
    I am 100% certain that I did NOT delete any of these sent messges.
    Coincidentally (?) I installed Security Update 2006-008 (PowerPC) on January 2, 2007 as well. Did this update cause my sent messages to be deleted? Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone have any suggestions to recover/find my missing emails?
    Thanks!

    I’ll be out for several ours. If Spotlight cannot find those messages, it probably means that they’ve indeed been deleted for some reason. In that case, if you don’t have a backup, your only option would be to try to salvage as many deleted *.emlx files as possible with a data recovery tool such as Data Rescue II, TechTool Pro, or FileSalvage. Of these, the only one I know for sure that can currently recover deleted *.emlx files is FileSalvage. Stop using your computer right now if you want to try that, as anything you do with the computer may cause the deleted files to be overwritten.

  • Record enable buttons missing on Audio track headers!?

    They were there previously. There is even an empty space for them which disappears when I uncheck the record enable button when I go to configure track headers window. If this has happened to anyone, please tell me how to get them back. This now on all projects (9.01).
    Thanks, Confused

    Yep, this has changed in L9, as you can now choose different devices for In- and Output you will miss the recording buttons if you don't have an Input selected.

  • Changing Reply Format (headers)

    I need a way to force all user's reply format to be the same (reply headers). I was thinking to write a Formativ Applet that launches on Compose and sets the reply format for the user. I've been looking through the token API but haven't found anything. Is there some way to accomplish this?
    Thanks,
    Jason

    I'm assuming that all those users are from the one Lotus Notes system or
    your GroupWise system. Does this happen in WebAccess as well?
    I would look at GWIA logs to check there aren't any errors generating
    when receiving those messages, perhaps increasing the logging level along
    the way. I would also take a close look at the "Message Source" of those
    messages as it sounds like there is something not quite matching the
    applicable standards that is messing things up. Compare to messages that
    are coming in normally.

  • Missing the reply button in notification center

    In IOS8 there is a feature where you can answer messages by either swiping down to answer, which works, but then there is also the thing where you can slide to the left in the notification center and then there should come a blue reply button. Mine is gone, anyone who knows what I did wrong? Can you adjust this in the settings?

    I didn't need to remove the iCloud account, I simply disabled the account in Messages.app and re-enabled it. Now I have the Messages share button

  • Email Signatures Missing From Reply and Forwarded Messages

    Email signatures do not work for reply and forwarded emails. Signature work normally for emails I write.
    I have 4 email accounts and 3 HTML signature identities. For each account I've enabled signatures for reply and forward in the Composition and Addressing menu option. I've tried restarting TB in safe mode by holding shift key. Nothing works. I cannot use signatures for any email accounts or identities for replies and forwards.
    Help please. Something is broken. I have latest version of TB.

    Anybody can help?

  • Outlook 2010 e-mail signature missing from reply

    Hi!
    I have create a signature, and it works fine when creating new emails. But when replying/forwarding, there is no signature attached. And this despite I have attached the signature under options->mail->signatures->Replies/forwards.
    I have tried setting it to none, saving, adding it again and also with another very simple plain two word signature, with no result....
    I am running Office Professionel Plus 2010 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit
    I really hope that you have some suggestions, because this is really annoying!
    BR Rasmus Hovendal

    I had the same problem after upgrading to Outlook 2010, and this was the only place I got a search hit on (with Bing search of course) showing others with the same problem. I think I just found the solution (fixed it for me) so I
    thought I would share.  There seem to be multiple exchange accounts now (I don't remember if they were there before) in the Signature editing dialog, and each one of them has sig settings.  In the "Choose Default Signature: section, for the "Email
    Account:" drop down, select "Microsoft Exchange" and pick your sigs, select "Exchange" and select your sigs, and I guess select any others too :).
     I am assuming the problem is intermittent depending on who is autopopulated in the "from" section for the email that you are forwarding or replying to, "Exchange" or "Microsoft Exchange", although i don't know the logic of why one would be chosen over
    the other.

  • Can Reply contian headers like Forward?

    We have a couple of users who would like Reply and Reply All to include the header information from the previous email. Forward currently does include this information (the sender, date and time, etc). I have checked all the preference settings with no success.

    I am also interessted to have all this header information in the email when I replay..... but I have no idea at the moment how to proceed.

  • How to send a do not reply response from Ironport

    Our business Ironport appliances are set up with several domains.   We have a requirement to send a receipt message responding to certain customers who email an address on only one of the configured domains.    The receipt message needs to come from a [email protected] address and is to confirm that the email has been received.
    So far I have a notfiication template configured with the message that we want to send out, and a content filter with a condition that uses Envelope recipient to identify the address that has been emailed, and a notify action that uses the notification template to send the message out.     The problem with this is that when the customer receives the email it comes from the address ironport@hostname.     The only way I can see of changing this is to change the Notifications option under the System Admin/Return Addresses option, however this is a global change that then changes the address for all notification for all domains and for messages from the appliance itself.      If we then have a future requirement to do the same thing for a different domain we're stuck.
    Can anyone suggest another way of doing this just for one domain.    I've wondering about custom message filters/text resources but don't know how to work them.
    thanks
    Chris

    Within the Notify action on the Filter itself, you can override the Sender information that would have been populated from the Return Addresses page.  If you are using a Content Filter, this is set in the 'Return Path:' field.  For Message Filters, you would set it in the 3rd set of quotes, for example:
    notify("$EnvelopeSender", "template_name", "[email protected]");
    The email address specified here is used as the Envelope Sender, and the From: & Reply-To: headers.

  • WSRP wsse element missing in SOAP Header

    Hi
    I have a wlp 9.2.3 producer and consumer, i did set up the SAML security between these 2 domains and it was working fine. Now suddenly wsse:security section is missing in the soap headers which are being passed from consumer to producer. What could be the reason for the missing wsse ... how to add them back
    soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    *<Header xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"/>*
    <soapenv:Body>
    <urn:initCookie xmlns:urn="urn:oasis:names:tc:wsrp:v1:types">
    <urn:registrationContext>
    <urn:registrationHandle>24002</urn:registrationHandle>
    </urn:registrationContext>
    </urn:initCookie>
    </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope
    Thanks
    Jesh

    The most likely cause is the user is not logged in.
    Other issues include misconfiguration of the WSDL policy or the SAML Credential Mapper in consumer's security realm.
    Hope this helps,
    Nate

  • How to set one default "reply-to" email address for multiple accounts

    I have an iPhone 3GS. I have my own domain name which I want to use as my primary "public" email address. It is forwarded from the hosting ISP to my ATT/Yahoo email address. I also have a Gmail account. I would like recipients to see that it comes from my domain ([email protected]), but since it is actually going through ATT/Yahoo, I can only see how to set the "From" field to either my ATT/Yahoo account or my Gmail account addresses. Is this even possible?
    Essentially, I don't directly access "[email protected]", but that's where I want it to appear to come from, regardless of where it actually originated.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    You get e-mails just fine, but do you have rights to log into the e-mail server at myfirstandlastname.com? If you can do that (check with your hosting ISP to find out if they will let you), then you can just set up the iPhone to use that e-mail server to send your mail. It's possible to set up an iPhone IMAP account to get mail from gmail, but use a separate non-gmail SMTP server to send outgoing mail, all within the same iPhone e-mail account.
    If you can get this working, then you won't need to mess with reply-to headers. Your e-mail will not only look like it got sent from myfirstandlastname.com -- it actually WILL be sent from there and all replies will automatically go there and then be forwarded as usual to your ATT/Yahoo address. No one will know that ATT/Yahoo is involved, and both your sent and received e-mail will show up in the same single e-mail account on the iPhone.
    I do this all the time with my e-mail. My account is really at gmail, but the e-mail address says it came from mycollege.edu. My old college offers me an alumni forwarding-for-life account. They only forward mail, though; they don't hold it. They do also run an SMTP server, though, and that's what I use to make my outgoing e-mail look as if it came from mycollege.edu.

  • Missing tools in tool drop

    I was trying to create headers and footers and went to tools but there is no document settings tool. All I have is find, print, settings and go to help. Am I missing something?

    Document headers and footers are not supported in Numbers on the iPad, if I remember correctly. In fact, if you create a spreadsheet on your computer and transfer it to the iPad, it will be stripped of these elements.
    I just tried importing a spreadsheet from my DropBox account, and received the following message:
    "+Sheet settings, such as headers and footers, were removed.+"

  • "Reply-To" header not displayed

    Thunderbird 31.2.0 OS X
    Enabled:
    Classic View
    Folder Pane
    Message Pane
    The message pane does not show Reply-To headers. This makes it much easier to accidentally send embarrassing email to everyone on a "reply-to-list" mailing list (which shouldn't exist anyway, but they do).

    Select email to read in Message Pane.
    click on 'Other Actions'
    select 'View source'
    Does the email actually have a 'Reply-to' header?
    If the sender did not insert one then Thunderbird will not display one.
    OR are you saying that the actual email headers when viewing the source contain a Reply-to header, but Thunderbird is not displaying it?
