Misspelt words are not underlined in emails.

When I compose an email (hotmail), spelling mistakes are not displayed/underlined. Hotmail says it's the browser that does the checking. And yes I have checked the automatic spellchecking option in Options/Advanced.

I was looking for a solution to this problem when I found this topic.
My spell checker has worked fine for years until my browser updated to Firefox 4 - then it stopped working much to the annoyance to all who use the computer.
Yes, I have the relavant boxes ticked and no it didn't make any difference.

I'm uploading a Word file to my Adobe PDF Packet Annual subscription. I'm running Windows 8.0. Normally I will create a document in MS Word 2013, save it into our dropbox and then when I need to send it to someone (printer in this case) I will log onto Adobe PDF and upload the file to convert. Once it's converted, I'll send the pdf to the client or printer. In this case I created a poster with our logo (in a text box), text, a star (in a text box) and a few solid colored rectangles. Everything converted beautifully - as usual - except the solid text boxes.
I've used Adobe PDF Packet for a few years and have never seen this. Any ideas or other questions?

Some words are not highlighting on my read-aloud epubs after updating IOS 6.0.1 and iBooks 3.0.1 on both my iPad 2 and iPad 3. They are working absolutely fine earlier. I even updated the latest version of iBooks 3.0.2 but nothing is working. Can anybody help?

I ran into this problem as well. Seems like something funky going on with iBooks 3. Anyways, I had to tweak my read-aloud clip starts in the smil. Where the word was not highlighting, I added a few milliseconds to the timing until the word started highlighting again. Not the most ideal solution, and not sure what exactly causes it because 90% of the words were just fine, but it seemed to fix the problem. Note prior to the problem happening, I had all my clip start timings = clip end timings for the previous word, so there were no gaps.

Acrobat Pro 7 / Words are not separated

Hi guys,
A friend of mine has Acrobat Pro 7 on a Windows Vista OS. She need to select text from a pdf and paste it on a Word document. The strange happens when pasting all the words are not separated by any space they are glued together. Is there any way to correct this? I tried paste special and it is the same.

it is a begginners guide to Rugby trainning by the IRB. I do not know if the PDF has some special configuration that does not let you copy and paste text in a regular way.

Basically Michael means that Adobe does not support AA7 for VISTA. It may or may not work. If you ask them a question they will tell you to upgrade and likely hangup. Several folks have been successful with AA7 working on VISTA and periodically they come back with something they found that did not work. A similar result occured for AA4 on XP as I recall the older forums. Typically folks had to ultimately upgrade.
As far as AA7, I will go to my laptop shortly and try to check the same thing I did with AA8 on VISTA and post the result. That way you can see for yourself the result. If it works on my AA7 and not yours, it will likely be the VISTA thing, but not sure.
I just checked AA7 on XP and it copied from the file to WORD fine. All of the fonts are embedded, so that is not an issue. I had use local fonts turned on, but tried it with use local fonts turned off also, with the same results. The results are below with the same section I copied last time (just to the right of the photo on page 2):

This shows the spaces, so the only conclusion I can reach is that it is a VISTA issue. I don't have any other ideas. Bill

How did you put the photos on yhour iPhone? Did you take them with the iPhone? If so and you have PS enabled on the iPhone they will be added to the PS on your iPad (as long as it's enabled also)

I just started using Adobe Send but customers are not receiving my emails

I am using Adobe Send to send pdf files to my customers. I choose my files, enter my customers email address & copy me...hit send.
However, my customers and myself are not getting my emails...anyone else have this happen? How do I fix? I can't track the emails if my recipients are not receiving them?!

There are still many accounts who are not getting the emails…what I am doing is copying myself at my msn.com as that account seems to get all of them.
So then once received, I then forward them from my msn email address. Then they get them.
I think they get put in spam or blocked because because the from email address says (faked from)
My bigger question — my links are expiring – this link below doesn’t work anymore???

On WinXP Back, Forward, and Home was last in the Firefox 3.6 versions and disappeared as of Firefox 4.0 - and hasn't been seen since.
Doesn't the Mac OSX versions of Firefox have Back and Forward in the context menu (right-click), as Windows and Linux versions do?

HELP - all words are getting underlined in red while using yahoo mail. How to fix this?

I am using Firefox browser and already upgraded to the latest 5.0. While using my yahoo mail all words are underlined in red(it is happening as I write this note). How do I stop this from happening and have just he mispelled words underlined? When the email is sent the underline goes away.

Do you have a dictionary installed and selected?
*You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu.
* Open the "Add Dictionaries" link to install a dictionary if you do not have one.
* Make sure that [X] "Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu is check-marked.
You can enable or disable spell checking globally:
* Tools > Options > Advanced : General: Browsing: "Check my spelling as I type"

Imbedded Images(photos) are not displayed in emails (yahoo7mail), its ok using IE9

When opening emails, only the text is displayed any photos are not shown. Was ok with FF3 and works ok with IE9.

Requisition are not receiving the email communcation............Workflow

Hi Friends,
Here is my query on Workflow,
One of our customer created a purchase order through shopping cart,in the place of the requisitioner details they maintain the user id and we checked the user id in Su01, and i found out the mail id and and user id has been maintained here and the communication method is "Remote Mail".
Our system is configured in such a way that when the requisitioner will create a purchase order one mail should go to the inbox of the requisioner through workflow procedure.
I checked the workflow and it is showing that mail has successfully sent.
Now the user has raise a query that "he is not receiving any email communication whenever he is creating PO through shopping cart".We confirm with the user about the communication mail id and he said that the mail id is correct and the same mail id has been maintained in SAP.
If anybody faced this kind of problem than pls help me on this.

Hi Kumar,
Are you expecting the emails in the Outlook inbox? Is it an external mail id?
Check things below -
1. Are alerts being generated? Check transaction ALRTINBOX to make sure that.
2. Check transactions SOST to see emails are generated for the users.
3. Make sure that in transaction SCOT, the user id is added as supported address types.

How do I change the compatibility view so that my words are not running off the page?

I do data entry and in the system I am working on the words are running off the page. In internet explorer there is a little broken page on the tool bar that lets you change the compatibility and I am not finding anything like that with firefox. Please advise how I can change the setting so that the words will wrap correctly.

As far as I know, Firefox doesn't have a similar compatibility feature.
I assume this system is not accessible to forum volunteers, so I'm going to ask you to do a little sleuthing. I assume you are entering text in a multi-line textbox (an HTML <textarea> control). Could you do the following:
* Have your text entry form open in one tab, and a reply to this thread in another tab.
* Right-click in the control that doesn't wrap and choose Inspect Element. A small pane should open with part of the HTML highlighted in blue.
* Right-click the highlighted <textarea> tag and choose Copy Outer HTML.
* In your reply tab, paste the HTML, and remove the leading < character to avoid messing up your post. This will show any legacy settings on the tag that might be affecting how it wraps.
Here's an example using this very box:
textarea style="width: 567px; height: 616px;" rows="10" name="content" required="required" placeholder="Enter your reply here." cols="40" id="id_content"></textarea>
If it's not a textarea, then that would be useful to know as well.
* Back in your form, you may or may not have a pane to the right that shows various style rules. If not, click the Style button at the lower right to open it. Look for any rules with the '''white-space''' property (the properties normally appear in colored text). If you find one, right-click and choose Copy declaration line. Switch back to this tab and paste the rule.
With that information, hopefully we can find a workaround.

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. Fonts in Excel and MS Word are not replicated correctly when creating a PDF in Adobe Reader 10.1.11

when using Swis721 BlkOul BT, an outline-style font, I am getting another full-bodied text. Also, upon using RomanT and Simplex, the simplest font in use, a conversion still occurs. The print preview shows that everything will be fine, but the resulting PDF is not what is previewed.

I'm using a printer called Win2PDF. However, I haven't had this problem before. The Preferences tab indicates local fonts are used, and the Document Properties only shows two fonts, Helvetica and Helvetica Bold. How do I load the rest of these fonts that seem to be everywhere but here?
