MOAC setting in R12 custom pages

Hi,
I have a custom page called from a notification.
The notification is selected from my worklist on the homepage, so I have not yet selected a responsibility.
In the notification I can click a link to get to a custom page. On this page I need the values form profile options which have been set to company specific values (organization level values in profile option).
In the workflow of the notification I do have the org_id, the user and application info. I can pass these values along to my custom page. (in fact, I have done that)
How do I enable the proper MOAC settings in my custom page so that the profile options return the corresponding values?

1. I can create any custom JSP of my requirement and put them in CUSTOM_TOP/HTML directory as long as they are not refering to any std Oracle JSPs. But if
these are referring to any std JSPs we need to keep it inside $OA_HTML dierctory, isnt it???
2. Secondly we can develop those JSPs in any JDEVELOPER or we need to follow the note 884200.1 for particular JDEV and settings????

ID CS3 Custom Page Set-up

I am trying to set up a custom page for DVD Case inserts. I have DVD Case Inserts sheets that have perferations for the edges and the folds down the center. I am having a terible time setting up the page.
The full sheet is 11.75 by 8.25" I set custom page size to that measurement
The perferated area is in .5 inches on all sides. I set the margins to .5"
When I print every thig prints shifted down 5/16" and shifted to the right by 5/8'
I have the same problem on two computers and two differnet printers, so I assume it is a settigns thing. What am I doing wrong?

Why does a custom page shift all over the palce. I beginning to think it is a falw in the S/W.

When you open the Document Setup dialog there is a button to "show more options" which will give you fields for bleed and slug. Amounts you enter into these fields are indicated by new guides drawn outside the page area on the pasteboard, and these are the amounts that would be added around the edge of the page when you select Use Document Bleed or InClude Slug area, respectively. I asked before, and you didn't say, if you are also using any printer's marks, like crops or page information. Marks also add area around the edge of the page, and if you are using upper left positioning, turning off crop marks would cause the page image to move up and to the left on the sheet.
Stix Hart raises a good point. Desktop printers, and even most commercial copiers, have pretty poor page-to-page and front-to-back position control due to the way they feed paper (that's why you need bleed). Tolerances are generally around +/- 1/16 inch or 1.5 mm, so it isn't unusual to see total shifts from one extrem to the other of around an eighth of an inch (1/16 on either side of where things "should" be) but a 5/16 shift is really too much to see from that effect, I think, and happens to be realitively close to the default offset for crop marks or could be the total offset if you included both a bleed and bleed marks.
Can you post screen shots of both the Document Setup dialog and the Print dialog Marks and Bleeds area, please. Use the little camera icon to embed the images into your post.

Whish list: Sync also "custom" page sizes. Pleeease.

In InDesign CC is feature to sync settings. It should be to syncing custom settings. But not all custom setting are synced.
For example when you define set of you custom page sizes like A1-6, B1-6, DL or any other custom formats (which you use when creating new document, or new alternative layout, etc) they are not synced. ( + there is no UI way to export/import them.)
Please add CUSTOM PAGE SIZES to sync.
Or dear colleagues adn InDesign fans in community, is there other easy way how to solve this?

Find directory "Page Sizes" (my contains one file "New Page Sizes.xml")
MAC: [drive]:\ Users > Username > Library > Preferences > Adobe InDesign > [version] > [lang] >
PC: [drive]:\ Users > Username > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > InDesign > [version] > [lang] >
@Copy directory "Page Sizes" to same directory in newer version location.
So when is this so easy, it should be peace of cake for devs to implement a check box to Syncing setting dialog, to let you sync custom page sizes too.

How can I set up a custom 404 error page on OSX Server?

I moved my web site to a local server and changed the structure drastically. Unfortunately I am getting hits for information that was on the old server which I haven't put back yet. I'd like to set up a custom 404 Error Page to let people know what's up. In server.app I can set up a 500 error page but not a 404 and when I tried hand coding it into the sites .conf file I really messed things up. It took me a while to get that all corrected!

Under the web server Advanced Setting set "Allow overrides using .htaccess" then create an .htaccess file in the root directory with the line:
ErrorDocument 404 notfounderror.html
Use whatever HTML/PHP/etc. document you have created.

I found that the HTML Call was incorrect as I put it in between " " before.
OA.jsp?page=/xxjm/oracle/apps/xxper/webui/EmpSearchPG
After I removed the " ", I've got a new error which I attached.
It missleading error:

Set custom page size for printing

I want to set a custom page size for printing some PDF three and four-page musical scores to roll paper on an Epson 1290 using Adobe Reader 9.3.4 on Ubuntu 10.04. The printer properties in the print dialog has a media size option, and one of the choices is "custom", but having chosen "custom", the dialog does not allow me to add the actual page size to the lpr printer command. I can see that when I choose "custom", the lpr command is
lpr -P Stylus-Photo-1290 -o PageSize=Custom etc
but what I need for a three page output, for example, is
lpr -P Stylus-Photo-1290 -o PageSize=Custom.297x630mm etc
and I can't see how to add the actual custom paper size. If I Ok the media size choice dialog with it just set to PageSize=Custom, I can see from the output preview in the print dialog that the actual page size that has been chosen is letter. The online Adobe doc for Reader 9 printing (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Reader/9.0/content.html#heading2.3) says "For documents that are larger than the standard page size, go to File > Page Setup. Create a custom page size before you print your document". The problem with that is that there is no "Page Setup" option on the File menu in the Unix version of Adobe Reader, only a "Print" option, which is where I already am.
If I open the PDFs in Evince, it allows me to add the custom page sizes I want, but as Evince doesn't have the option to print multiple pages per sheet I can't use it either...

Yes, it used to work, and the resize zoom bar used to work too (now its grayed out). I don't know if this is a "who's to blame for it" thing, but its not getting fixed and its pretty bad that no one seems to care enough even to respond. I found my own solution by opening it in Gimp. Just right click and select open with other ...Gimp and it will import into it. In the Gimp Print dialog, you have a scaling percentage in the "Page Setup" tab, and size settings in the "Image settings" plus loads of other stuff including multiple copies.

How to set tray's background image in the custom page layout?

I've developed custom page layout with custom iView tray implementation. I've applied my layout into my page and added some iViews. Those iViews are URL isolated so they are rendered as an iframe. My problem is that an iframe background containing iView content overcast my background image which I have set in my iView tray implementation. Is it possible to set transparent background for an iframe in this scenario?

That's right, I've already used layout tag library do develop custom tray design but my problem concerns iView's isolation method . URL isolation renders iView's content in an iframe which has its own background. I've read some articles about getting transparent iframes but I'm not sure how could I achive this in SAP EP? Is it possible?

Set up Oracle Customer Standard (R12) in JDeveloper

We need to add some extensions to the Customer Standard > Site Details OAF screen. I am trying to get it up and running on my local client PC in JDeveloper but i am missing the parameters needed to launch it directly. I can launch the Customer Standard > Search form, search for a user, and click on the results to get to the customer overview screen. When I click on a specific address details icon I get an error so I'm hoping to jump direct to the site details screen if possible.

Set up Oracle Customer Standard (R12) in JDeveloper. Rebuild and run the oracle.apps.ar.cusstd.srch.webui.ArPrtySrchPG.xml. Search for a user (person). Select the user to go to the overview screen. Scroll down and click a details link for an address. The following error is displayed.

Can I set up a master page to show custom alternating footer text dependant on page number?

Hi,
Is it possible to set up a master page to show different messages in the footer of a brochure dependant on page number? For example;
Page 1: Buy from us because...
Page 2: Our website address is...
Page 3: Here's a special offer...
Page 4: Our website address is...
Page 5: Buy from us because...
Page 6: Our website address is...
...and so on, repeating until the end of the brochure. The intention is for the footers to update automatically if the pagination of the brochure in question needs moving around - or if the messages need changing.

Thanks, but the text needs to be on a single master page which every page is assigned to. This is so the text alternates correctly regardless of whether new pages are inserted or moved. If I assigned separate master pages to individual pages and then moved the pages to a different location, the alternating footer text would then fall out of sync. I hope that made sense!

Make the Custom page read only depending

Is there anyway to make a custom page readyonly for some users? I know we can set rendered to false for each region but i'm wondering if we have a property for the whole page.

Is it a 11i or R12
if it is R12 it is easy just passing the region where you want to make it read only or for the entire page, pass the top level region.
If it is 11i, you need to copy paste the sample code and call it from your Process request after you did the user check.
Btw, instead of user check, create a responsibility and assign that responsibility to those users and check for that responsibility to avoid any hard code in User list side.
Check this thread and if you are not able to make it, please update the issue you face.

Z3200 won't print to custom page size

Hello,
I've created a banner that is 23"w x 82"h (in CorelDraw Suite 4). The page setup of the Corel file is 23" w x 82"h. I've been trying to print it on the z3200 designjet, but have had no luck. I created several custom page sizes (23" x 82", 24" x 85", 24" x 82") using both the "Printer Properties" dialogue within CorelDraw as well as adding a "Form" in the "Print Server Properties", none of them work. I've set the correct paper (24" wide HP Bright White Bond, feeding from the roller) on the actual printer itself, and in the Printer Properties.
I've played around with all of the different settings that I can and sometimes see the following error message:
[1/1]Paper size selected (width:23.00 inches, height: 82.00 inches) is larger than loaded paper (width: 24 inches). Please verify your printer setup.
When the page prints, it is resizing the content to be 8.5" wide.
I don't know what I'm missing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

How to get inputted value in a RTE field on custom page and submit by REST call in 'Sharepoint hosted app'.

Hi I am facing the three questions below.
1. How to use default RTE in custom page in Sharepoint hosted app.
I saw the article of Rich text Editor (ribbon based) in a webpart in SharePoint 2013 and tried it. But it did not work well. I guess it needs code-behind setting, however sharepoint hosted app does not support code-behind.
Does anybody know how to do this?
2. In above case, I placed the below code on custom page and tried to get the field's value when submit button was clicked.

First of all, I would suggest you post one question in one thread to make it easier to be discussed, which would also help you get a quick solution.

How do I set the default welcome page for PUBLIC user

i'm using -
Oracle 9i Database
Oracle 9ias Portal Release 2
QUESTION => how do I set the default welcome page for the PUBLIC user.
i did the following to achieve this -
1. logged into portal
2. clicked on builder
3. clicked on administer tab
4. selected PUBLIC user in the Portal User Profile portlet
5. went to the preferences tab
6. in the default home page selected a custom page group
7. logged out of portal
8. open a new browsere session
9. type the portal URL and i get the login page ....??
i'm unable to understand this behavior ... shouldn't i be getting the page group that i set for the PUBLIC user in step 6 above ....
the second QUESTION is => when the user logs out he/she should see the PUBLIC page set in step 6 above ... but, instead the user sees a page that is as follows -

Hi,
The sequence of operation you are doing to set the home page for public users is correct. You are getting the login screen as the "custom page group" selected as "home page" has not been granted to public.
Also, while logging-out, it is normal behaviour to get the screen where it shows the list of partner applications from where user has been logged-out. When you click on "Return" button, you will get to the "home page" set above.
