Mobile site not looking as designed when live on a phone

HI,
I have created a mobile phone site but on my phone, it looks so different on certain pages, I'm not sure why this is happening or how to fix it? it?

Text Fields Not Showing in Design or Live View

Hello Everyone,
I have run into a problem trying to create a simple contact form through Dreamweaver CS6. I have two text fields for Name & Email, and 1 text area for Comments. The issue I am running into is that the text fields are not showing in Design or Live view. I have set-up all variables required for the server for the form to work... but that should not have any effect on the text field showing... I tried uploading my contact page with the same result of no text fields showing...
What is really laughable is that the "text area" I placed in my form for Comments shows up in Design & Live view just fine. I am thinking that I am missing something, but just do not know what exactly. The form is styled through CSS.

Are there other variables I should be thinking about in the rest of my site? I am using a fluid grid layout. I have CSS for desktop, tablet, and phone devices. I also have a primary CSS file that imports all three. The sites structure was done by using <header>, <article>, <footer>, and of course <div> tags.
Has anyone ever experienced the "text fields" not showing up before? Is it a simple fix as reinstalling Dreamweaver CS6? Finally, another thing I should mention is that I did have a previous version of Dreamweaver on my comp, which was CS3. I did not uninstall that before installing the newer version. I assumed (and I could be wrong here) that it would automatically replace the older version.
I apoligize for it being long winded, but I am looking for some help on this issue...

Ya I found what was blocking my text fields in my desktop.css
I primarily work through code view, and currently working on quite a few projects kind of makes your eyes miss the small errors.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

All-in-one 6830 printer Does not enter sleep mode when connected to a phone line

HP staff help. HP all-in-one printer 6830 does not enter sleep mode when conntected to a phone line via 1-Line jack. The Firmware is PNP1CN1521AR. On August 1, 2015, I purchased an HP all-in-one 6830 printer and upgraded to firmware PNP1CN1521AR.When a phone line is connected to 1-Line jack of 6830, the printer will no longer enter sleep mode and the display remains on indefinitly.Removing the phone connection either from the wall outlet or from the printer causes the sleep mode to work correctly again where the control panel display turns off after 5 minutes (or optionally after 10 or 15 minutes).This problem was previously reported by a user and has not been resolved, see:http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Printing-Questions/Sleep-mode-of-Officejet-Pro-6830/td-p/4772182 The user did not receive a resolution to this problem according to the thread.
There seems to be a 6830 printer firmware or hardware problem causing this. HP should be able to confirm this problem on 6830 easily.

It's a regular analog phone line. I've tested it with other phone lines. No difference. I have another all-in-one printer which works fine (goes to sleep mode) when plugged into the same phone line.
The 6830 works ok in other aspects. The only problem is the sleep mode. Any 6830 with the firmware I mentioned should replicate the same result, regardless of anything else. The previous firmware to PNP1CN1521AR also created this problem according to the original report of this problem by another user.
I'm sure there's a bug in the firmware. A subroutine in the firmware monitoring the incoming fax ringing, mistakenly, sees the voltage across the phone jack pins as an event and wakes up the printer instantly even though there's no ringing. As the previous user also suspected, there seems to be an error in the phone line voltage threshold used by the firmware. The present firmware always sees a ringing at the phone line which causes it to never stay in sleep mode.

Shooting "squeezed" 16:9 does not look quite right when exported to 16:9

Hard to put a title which would cover the problem well, probably hard to describe it well, too, for an amateur:)
Anyway, I have a cheap JVC GR-D320E which serves me well as a beginner´s camera (for the price I gave) but when I shoot in what it calls 16:9 mode which I have understood it is not true 16:9 but in a way squeezed, and I import this to FCE (set to Anamorphic PAL), it all looks good within FCE but when I export it using QT Conversions and setting the proportions and size manually to what is supposed to be the right dimensions for 16:9 PAL (1024x576 if I remember it correctly) it does not look right. The persons "grow shorter and fatter", if you know what I mean.
I have tried to change the dimensions in QT Pro, but the problem is to find the correct ones. I also wonder why this happens and if there actually are "correct" proportions which then would be something between 16:9 and 4:3 or if I am doing something wrong?
When I export not using QT Conversions, the result is 4:3 which isn´t right, either...
Well, hope I have been able to describe this in a way which is possible to understand...

I want to export it for several purposes; all you mention, in fact; to put on the web, to play on the monitor and to make a DVD. As I mentioned, when I exported as a QuickTime movie, it came out as a 4:3 and that of course, looked awful.
Using the conversions, I can scale it as I want to, but to me 16:9 does not look exactly right, either. That is why I wanted to know if there are some proportions in between the 4:3 and 16:9 which is appropriate for footage which is not filmed in true 16:9 but in this option which cheaper cameras have.

My apps that are stored in itunes, how do I delete some of them so they do not show up anymore when I restore my phone?

In the itunes store where I have my apps and contacts "stored", how can I delete the ones I do not want anymore. I just restored my phone and it had items on it that I do not need or use anymore

The restore should only have restored onto your phone what you had on it when you last backed up. You can delete apps from your phone by pressing and holding them for a couple of seconds until they shake, and they should then get an 'x' on their top corner - then back up again. You can also delete them from the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library by selecting them and pressing the delete key on your keyboard.
You can't permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them via your computer's iTunes so they don't show in the Purchased links for redownloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If your phone is on iOS 7 then after hiding them on your computer's iTunes you might need to log out and back into your iTunes account on your phone for them to be hidden from the Purchased tab in the App Store app on it

Order phone on BB RZ mobile site for in-store pick up and receive $50 Phone Freedom GC???

The BB RZ Mobile site is offering 5000 RZ points (4500 bonus points, plus 500 everyday points) for a purchasing and activating any smartphone. My question is if I order through the RZ mobile site and choose in-store pick up will I still get the $50 GC from the Phone Freedom promotion I registered for earlier in the year?

I am sure you will those are two seperate promotions. I got my bouns points and phone freedom GC card, I then used the GC towards the purchase of the phone.

The light on the back of my phone will not turn off, even when I turn the phone off. Help?

You will need to have the hold switch replaced.

Mobile site not displaying (size) correctly

I designed a mobile version of my website (www.michaelmellonphotography.com) in Dreamweaver.
When I view it LIVE within the program, and the "Mobile Size" option is selected at the bottom-right of the screen, it looks great.
However, when I view it on my phone, it doesn't look anything like that. It looks more like the "tablet-size" option in DW.
Any idea why that is??

Mobile site not spanning full page

After creating a desktop website I then went to create a mobile device site, I used the default page size but when viewing it on iPhone etc it would not span the full screen. I then tried increasing the page width and it would still not work. See the dark grey on the right of the screen shot from my phone

You might have a stray object on the Master page to the right of your design, this will push the page over.
Go to your Master page and do a select all and see if anything appears to the right of your page.

Mobile site not showing up.

I made two webpages in the last week or so.
www.pluckyshot.me and www.itsdjeternal.com
Theyre in development so I made splash pages for them.
The pluckyshot.me page works on mobile and on the pc but itsdjeternal.com doesnt work on mobile. I keep getting an internal error messege and something about apache 80. I was wondering if anyone ran into problems like this and if there were any solutions. The host said it wasnt a problem on their side and I may have did something wrong.

It appears you're using a third party host and the Tablet pages do not exist (and the Phone layout isn't applied). However, the Muse device redirect script is in place. Instead of a generic 404, it gives a 500 Internal Server Error when trying to view a page that does not exist. Most likely its a server side issue where the Error Pages are mis-configured. You might need to contact your hosting provider for checking of the configuration of Error Documents. Also, please try uploading all pages from Muse (and not just modified).

Mobile sites not displaying or responding correctly

I visit a few websites a day that dont respond correctly or arent correctly displayed in firefox for android v34.
Some of the websites in question are :
NYTimes.com
NYDailynews.com
Kotaku.com
ign.com
engadget
In the case of Kotaku and Ign, the text will either jumble ontop of one another, or in the case of NYDailynews and NY times, the buttons for the side tabs and such dont respond at all.
Does Anyone kjnow why its happening.

I'm not a Mac user but I've tweak some preferences under my Linux box and now everything looks normal

Facebook Touch Mobile Site NOT Working (touch.face...

I was fine when I was running Symbian Anna on my Nokia N8-00 and my E7-00 but since the Belle upgrade the Browser is unable to show some Java features (thats what I think the problem is) on the FaceBook Touch website (touch.facebook.com). Try it on your phone(s) the 'Notifications', 'Messages' and 'Friend Requests' button on the top are NOT loading. In addition to that alot of other functionality of the website is lost as well i.e. not infinite scrolling of the feed, it stops after the first page. Still works fine on Symbian Anna on one of my older phones, but Belle has the Browser with some limitations or functionality removed. I've also tried a third party browser (Opera NOT mini but Full version) and it is 'Extreamely' slow but opens the touch (as well as the full desktop) site eventually. Please Nokia developers, release a patch/upgrade for the browser. Need help.

Well my friend, facebook is not the problem. The problem is the Browser (probably just a config) in Symbian Belle/FPx because it works absolutely fine on my N8-00, my WP8 phone as well as a stupid Android. The real need for this to work is because all the amazing Camera phones that have been invented (thanks to Nokia) like the N8-00 and the awe inspiring PureView 808 are now to be running Symbian Belle and the Browser in there is simply unable to load/function properly when loading the http://touch.facebook.com. The low bandwith (non-touch) version which is http://m.facebook.com works fine but the functionality is such limited in there that it takes the photo taker to transfer the photos/videos from the N8-00/808 to a PC/Mac etc in order to simply upload them. If it could've been just simply the matter of Point/Click take photo and zap it upload on touch.facebook.com then life would've been so much easier. One tiny little config/bug etc is holding the entire collection of people world wide from being simple and quick. I really hope Nokia releases a fix on the Ovi/Nokia store for this, even if it costs around $$$ I'd be the first one to buy/download. I'm even happy to get in touch with the developers to work with them, demonstrate and even more than happy to willingly compensate for the work. All I need is a contact.
