Modifying Script

Hi,
      Can somebody tell me how do I modify the Standard Script J_9H_RVORDER01 and the corresponding print program RVADOR01? I need to insert the Logo and insert some fields.
Thanks,
John.

Hi,
Copying a Layout Set
Layout sets must be copied before changes are made. The following example shows how to copy the layout
set for a sales order confirmation.
1. Choose Tools --> Word processing --> Layout set.
2. Enter the new layout set name.
(This name is same as the old name
except, that the first character is
replaced with a Z.) In our example,
the new name for the sales order
confirmation is Z_9H_RVORDER01.
The new name of a layout set has to be
in the name range for customer objects,
so it must begin with Y or Z.
3. Enter E.
4. Click Create.
5. Click Enter to accept the message in
the following pop-up window.
6. Enter Sales Order Confirmation
in Description field.
7. Choose Layout set --> Copy from ...
8. Enter J_9H_RVORDER01.
9. Click OK if the information in the
pop-up window is correct.
10. Click Save.
If your system is connected to the
Correction and Transport System
(CTS), the new layout set must be
written on a correction request. (The
instructions to write a correction
request are not included in this guide.)
11. Choose Layout set --> Activate.

Sudheer

    can u plz anyone explain me the procedure for modifying script.
    i.e no need of coding
    just i want procedure.

    Hi sriharitha,
    IN SE71, use the environment function 'copy from client' and make a copy of the existing script to the Z namespace. The make the modifications in SE71 as required. In cistomizing, make the new form known. Actiovate and transport.

  • Modify Script to Create User Role on Single Database.

    Hi All,
    Below is the script to create user role on database. Here problem is when I execute this script, it creates user role for all database within an instance and I want it to create user role only on 2 database say TEST1 and TEST2
    Can anyone help me to modify the script?
    --===================================================================================
    -- Description
    -- Database Type: MSSQL
    -- This script creates a role called 'gdmmonitor' for ALL databases.
    -- It grants some system catalogs to this role to allow Classification and Assessment on the database.
    -- It then adds a user called "sqlguard" to all databases and grants this user gdmmonitor role.
    -- before runnign this script
    --  you MUST CREATE A SQL LOGIN CALLED 'sqlguard'
    --  This sqlguard login doesn't need to be added to any database or given
    --  any privilege.  The script will take care of that.
    --  Note:
    --   If you wish to use a different login name (instead of 'sqlguard') you need to change
    --   the value of the variable '@Guardium_user' in the script below;
    --   (Look for the string: "set @Guardium_user = 'sqlguard'" and replace the 'sqlguard')
    -- after runnign this script
    -- Nothing to do, the script already creates the db user
    -- User/Password to use
    -- User: sqlguard (or any other name, if changed)
    -- Pass: user defined
    -- Role: gdmmonitor

  • How to modify scripts

    I wanna to know how do I modify the standard SAP scripts, I hv to copy the script to my own program starting with z or y, bt after that how to modify the script, plz help me in this regard

    Hi
    Welcome to SDN forum
    See the process of modifying the scripts and do accordingly
    There are some Standard Sap Scripts in SAP. We cant directly execute them in scripts we have to use some T-codes and by giving some input to the required fields we can see the output printform.
    I will show one example. There are some Standard Sap Scripts such as MEDRUCK which is a standard Sap Script for Purchase Order and RVINVOICE01 for billing and so on...
    To see oupt of MEDRUCK go to T-code ME9F give purchase order number and execute select one number and click on dislplay messages button on application tool bar you can find the print form of MEDRUCK.
    You cannot change the Standard Sap Scripts but you can use Standard Sap Scripts and Copy them to userdefined Script and can make changes to them and replace standard Sap Script with usedefind script.
    Ex: Go to SE71,
    on menu bar u find Utilities->copy from Client. click on it u ll find new screen showing
    Form name:
    Source Clinet:
    Target Form:
    give Form name as usedefined form name EX: ZFORM1
    Source client as 000 and
    Target form as MEDRUCK.
    execute.
    Now, the standard from MEDRUCK is copyied to your form ZFORM1.
    NOW, go to SE71 and give form name as ZFORM1 and do some changes to the form such as adding logo any thing. save and Activate.
    Now, you have done changes to the Form ZFORM1 and u have to replace your form with standard SAP Script.
    Go to NACE Transaction.
    on Applications select EF for purchase order and click Output types button on application tool bar.
    now select NEU as output types dobule click on Processing Routines.
    now click on Change option on application tool bar and on right side u find MEDRUCK in form place replace MEDRUCK with ZFORM1 and SAVE.
    go back twice and now go to T-code ME9F give the purchase order number and execute and select one option and click on display messges button .
    you will find the changes that you have done in ZFORM1. so we cant chage the standard Sap Scripts by copying the Standard Sap Scripts we can chage and replace with our forms.
    Regards
    Anji

  • Problem with activating modified scripts in 4.7

    Hi,
    I have modified standard script and replace the existing script i the transaction NACE under the same output type.
    But the output is not is coming when I did like this...
    Please let me know what else I need to do to make it work.
    TIA,
    Ramesh

    Hi Ramesh,
    generally spoken: yes.
    Check table TNAPR with KSCHL = LD00. Is field FONAM filled with your Z-script (for each line)?
    If yes, then customizing part should be OK.
    Next step: check execution by debugging RVADDN01. Set break-point at function module OPEN_FORM. Is field form / fonam still your z-script?
    Regards,
    Christian

  • Help wanted for modifying script

    This is a new request following an answer from an earlier thread.
    I have got written permition from Steve Wareham to use his script, and get it modifyed to suit my needs. I offered him to do the job for me, but he asked me to pass it on. I don't know anything about scripting, so I would like someone to do the job for me.
    The script is this one from the earlier discussion no. 5799917, kindly modified and posted by Vandy88: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5799917#5799917
    As mentioned in the end, I would like to recieve help on having the script modified to have another option in the dialogbox "Perform operation on" where I can chose a page range for the script to be affecting?
    ie: From page ____ to page ____ .
    I want to use this on long documents with step-by-step instructions, where I sometimes need to remove a step in the middle, and therefore need the numbers changed for the rest of the document. The textboxes with numbers are using Paragraph Styles and are not linked. Due to other reasons it is not a solution to just link the textflow.
    I will pay a reasonable fee for help on this. Please include an estimate on the cost for re-scripting this.
    It needs to work on InDesign CS6 (IE version) and preferable on CC too.

  • Swf template locked; can I modify script?

    I produced a number of slide shows using templates provided with PS CS. I can't open the existing swf files to re-export because the template is locked.
    Movie performance isn't affected, and I want to disable this outdated detection:
    Please upgrade your Flash Player.
    Already have Flash Player? Click here if you have Flash Player 6 installed.
    Can I just cut (or other code)
        this.version = ver || 6; // default to 6
        this.align = "middle"; // default to middle
        this.redirect = "";
        this.sq = document.location.search.split("?")[1] || "";
        this.altTxt = "Please <a href='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer'>upgrade your Flash Player</a>.";
        this.bypassTxt = "<p>Already have Flash Player? <a href='?detectflash=false&"+ this.sq +"'>Click here if you have Flash Player "+ this.version +" installed</a>.</p>";
    from the script or is it not that simple? I've attached the script for reference.
    Recreating the slide shows in CS4 is doable but impractical.
    thanks

    my level of flash knowledge borders on barely competent, so your workaround isn't immediately obvious.
    my slide show folder contains several files and a few folders generated out of the template. "index.htm" seems to be the html controlling the .js.
    1) can I not modify the existing .js file (attached); replacing vers "6" for instance w/a later number along with other specific reference?
    2) "index.htm" (attached) only points to the template generated .js file, so seems that's the file to modify. ??
    thanks

  • UCCX 7 to 9 upgrade-how to modify scripts

    We are currently in the process of upgrading from version 7.0.2 to 9.X. I know that we have to modify the scripts that are referencing xml documents with steps to allow for authentication. I have several questions around that.
    1. Are there any other steps that will not work at all or need to be changed to accomodate 9.X.
    2. When modifying the scripts can I take the current 7.x script, open it in UCCX Version 9.X Editor add the necessary steps and save it from there? Or do I even need to worry about the version of CCX Editor when making the necessary step changes?
    Any help would be apprecitated.

    The other consideration is if you are referencing anything i.e. prompts/xml files from a windows directory rather than specific repository, you need to adjust the script to reference repository as the directory structure obviously is not applicable on Appliance.
    Normally you dont need to worry about script editor version, but it's always a good idea to do it with the new version.

    Chris

  • Modifying script to not prompt for information - Please Help

    Hello,
    Wondering if any one can help me with this?
    We just had one of our techs leave and he had come up with a PS script to check for specific Windows services and have them emailed daily so that we were alerted of any that are stopped.
    It works perfectly except for the fact it prompts you to enter an 'Environment' for which you want to check this for. We would like to change it so that it doesn't prompt and just reports on the services for those servers listed and have it running as a scheduled
    task.
    See a copy of the script below.

  • Modifying cold fusion script not picked up by iis

    We are running coldfusion 7, using iis6 on windows 2003 server. I am not a cold fusion developer and this is the only coldfusion script we have created by a previous developer. I needed to make some simple modifications to the script, including a change in the title. After having restarted IIS the modified script is still not showing the new title. What do I need to do for iis to show the changes in the cfm file?

  • Need help to modify vb script used in XP for Windows 7

    Can somebody help me in modifying scripts that were used for Windows XP, to run on Windows 7.
    My friend advised me to change it to .ps1, but still some flaws..
    Cscript \\nologo ????  is used for what purpose ?

    Almost all VBScripts written to work in Windows XP will also work for Windows 7, so there's not much to modify (unless you have specific examples of scripts not working).
    Having said that, PowerShell is the future! It takes a bit more than to just change the file extension to .ps1 though (this may be why your scripts aren't working!).

  • Using a script object

    Hi,
    I have beginner skills using LC Designer ES and am trying to insert and use a script object. I found a JavaScript function online: http://home.online.no/~pjacklam/notes/invnorm/impl/misra/normsinv.html and am trying to get it to do some math calculations in a Designer form.
    I've uploaded a sample test form at: http://elearningprojects.com/TestFormula1.pdf
    Can't get it to work.Trying to run the JS formula in the script object (by clicking on a button), using a few hard-coded variables, and display the results (Dprime1 and Dprime2) in 2 text fields.
    I would much appreciate if someone can take a look and suggest how to get it working correctly.
    Thanks for your help.
    Kind Regards,

    Hi Paul,
    Thank you for your reply and suggestions. With beginner skills in LC Designer (I'm a retired social worker), I am not sure how to do this.
    Is my identifying the script object path correct?
    form1.#subform[0].#variables[0].SO1.function_name(NORMSINV(p));
    When you say "You are calling this function a few times in your code so you will have to modify each call." I am not sure how to change this.
    I currently have (note that I added the SO1. to the function calls):
    var p = totalscore5
    var probit1 = SO1.NORMSINV(p)
    var p = totalscore6
    var probit2 = SO1.NORMSINV(p)
    var Dprime1 = probit1-probit2
    var p = totalscore8
    var probit3 = SO1.NORMSINV(p)
    var p = totalscore7
    var probit4 = SO1.NORMSINV(p)
    var Dprime2 = probit3-probit4
    Can you specify what a modified script would look like? I'm stuck.
    Also, have I set up displaying the Dprime1 variable's value in the TextField1 correctly?
    Thanks very much for your help.
