Month end billing

Hi,
We have issue on the scenario of RRB
we will be doing weekly billing
The issue is:
For example:in the last week on the month it may fall in to next month:
(Last week (28,29,30,1,2,3)28,29,30, will fall in June......and 1,2,3,will fall in July.)
but here they want to run DP91 on 05-July for previous month of June by giving posting period as 06/30,system has to pick only up to 30-june and do billing.
if its possible please tell me the procedure how to achieve  this?
Regards

Hi Guru,
I guess this can be done by setting the billing dates in the factory calender.
Say for Ex: you want to do billing from 28-30 June, You can specify this in "Special Rules" in the factory calender.
Give the valid from and Valid To date as 28 June and 30th June respectively. IN the next row specify the billing date as 5th July in both Valid from and valid to columns. Remember to tick the "Workday" checkbox. Specify a text as "June last week billing" .
Suppose you want to bill from 1st July to 9th July. Specify valid from as 1st July and valid to as 9th july. In the next row specify the billing date as 12th July and tick the Workday chekcbox.
By doing this, based on the billing schedule maintained (as explained above) in the factory calendar, when you do billing run (DP91) on July 5th the billing run will only be considered for the period from 28th - 30th June.Similarly when you do billing on July 12th system will only consider from 1st to 9th July.
Hope you have understood this. Try this and revert. If possible take help of your SD consultant.
Best Regards,
Gokul

  • Direct Posting of Sales in FI and month end closing

    Dear Experts
    I learnt that :
Sales Direct Entries may be posted in FI without posting in SD/MM.
Sales entries must always be posted only through SD process. If this is NOT done (for example freight rate received from third party freight forwarders), then only FI people should know how to reconcile and NOT sd people. Hence I recommend posting your query in FI forum after closing this thread.
    Regards,
My question is , during month-end closing how should FI or accounting address the above direct posting issues?
Apparently, such practice is not right.
There is no trace of the sales in SD MM. There is no corresponding billing doc in SD MM but found in FI .
How should this situation be handled as best practice?
I am BI person but found this issue with FI data not reconciled with SD MM.
I am not sure how the month-end closing was done when there is such data. Yes, the problem was found AFTER month was closed and I loaded the data to BI.
    best regards
    Pascal

    Dear Sirs
What is the fastest easiest way to find out which FI direct entries were posted without corresponding Sales / Billing documents created ?
Is there any standard report or reports available in oss?
Currently, our other interfacing systems are having problem with data due to direct entries where there is no corresponding Sales / Billing docs posted. This is causing a lot of time investigating what entries caused the reconciliation problem.
Your help would make my life easier.
    Thanks!
    Regards
    Pascal

  • If I just paid my monthly prepaid bill and want to cancel w verizon do I get some of my money back?

If I just paid my monthly prepaid bill and want to cancel w Verizon do I get some of my money back?

No.  In accordance with the Customer Agreement, any funds on your prepaid account will not be refunded if you cancel.
    http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/support/customer-agreement
CAN I TAKE MY WIRELESS PHONE NUMBER TO ANOTHER CARRIER?
You may be able to take, or "port", your wireless phone number to another carrier.  If you port a number from us, we'll treat it as though you asked us to cancel your Service for that number.  After the porting is completed, you won't be able to use our service for that number, but you'll remain responsible for all fees and charges through the end of that billing cycle, just like any other cancellation. If you're a Prepaid customer, you won't be entitled to a refund of any balance on your account.

  • Changing from quarterly to monthly 'whole bill DD'...

I currently pay by quarterly 'whole bill direct debit', and just pay the standard £11.54 a month (I only use the line for my broadband, I use my mobile for calls). I want to pay monthly instead, but still want it to be the whole bill DD rather than just setting up a fixed monthly payment plan, and it is not giving me the option to do this online. The help section mentions the option of a monthly whole bill DD, so I don't know why it doesn't offer it to me.
My next bill is due out in a few weeks (I've already paid up until 11th August) but I have a credit of about £22 on my account due to a billing error last time. If another quarterly bill is produced I'll only owe about £13 for August-November's line rental, which is fine, but I'd rather get the monthly bills set up now if I can. Hopefully this will give me a zero balance on my next bill, a very small balance to pay on September's bill and then the normal monthly line rental will start from October onwards.
How can I set this up? I also want to change the DD date to the 1st of the month in line with my other bills, because at the moment it comes off around the 27th, which isn't too bad for the quarterly DD but will be a bit of a pain for the monthly one. It'll let me specify the payment date if I set up a monthly payment plan, but I don't remember being given an option for the whole bill DD.

Hi EHL123 and welcome to the forum!
The Quarterly DD you are on at the minute is known as whole bill DD,you can change to standard monthly DD but this also means going to monthly billing aswell.
Also you cannot choose what day the payment is taken on a standard monthly/Quarterly DD.
If you choose MPP then you will receive your bill every Quarter but your payments will be taken monthly on the day you choose this option may be best for you if your payments never exceed 11.54.
I have checked my own account and cannot see a option to change this either so give BT a call on 0800 800 150 and they can change/setup the required method.

  • Doubt in mm, where to transfer gr/ir balance in month ending

In the month end if Gr/Ir Account is showing some balances due to pending of invoice verification. What we will do at this situation. Is there any configuration needed, to deal with the situation.
    Thanks in advance.

    HI G.Kiran ,
Its a normal process, if it is invoice is penditng then month end GRIR Accounts will have the balance.  Need not to do any things.  If you want to do manual Calaring for GRIR Clearing Account after inovice being generated then  do F.13/F-44.
