Monthly Spending Limit

I received a message that I reached my monthly spending limit.  So, I am not able to use Skype my acount and we are only a third of the way through the month.
It was suggested that I sign in with a second ID, however, I discovered that the application used by Windows 8 requires that you log out of your Windows account and set up a seconday Windows account in Windows 8.  You can't just sign out and login as another person
Then it was suggested I use Skrill.  I signed up for skrill but it seems their verification process of credit cards doesn't work.  When asked for the CCV number on the back, Skrill sends a message stating that there is a problem with the number.  I tried it with 2 different cards and gor the same error message.
Then I noticed that the Premium account has a higher Monthly Spending limit.  So, I signed up for that. But guess what.... Even though you sign up for Skype's Premium account, they  don't removed the suspension that they put into place.
Wow!  It looks to me that Skype wants us to go to Vonage or another company.

According to Skype: "We are unable to Auto-recharge your Skype Credit as you have reached your monthly spending limit."
No I haven't. I have spent €0.00 this month. (As displayed on my Billing & Payments page, so I haven't been hacked either)

  • Increase spending limit on pay as u go

Does anyone know how to increase spending limit on pay as u go smartphone with online purchases

If I understood you correctly you are talking about charge to mobile...if that's the case ,here are the rules:  "PAYG customers will be able to charge up to the value of £30 in a 24 hour period, per service to their O2 prepay credit. This can be spent in either one transaction or across several transactions. Customers who are new to the Charge to Mobile service will be subject to a monthly spend limit of £100 per month for the first 3 months of using the service."    This cannot be changed, so unfortunately you cannot increase you spending limit.

  • Spending limit - what a joke!

I have been a loyal customer for 2.5 years with a bill that is almost $500 per month for 8 lines on Edge plus one line that has completed a 2-year contract. That means I have paid verizon between 12,000 and 15,000 dollars on time every time. I have an excellent credit rating, and now they tell me there is a spending limit.
They let me add 8 Edge lines to my plan. I called Verizon direct to see about upgrading, and they told me that me and my husband could both upgrade if we paid 98.88 per phone.
We did that, but now tell me I cannot upgrade because there is a "hard cap" of $4,000 spending limit on the Edge program (which they extended to $5,000 to sell me two additional lines in September, but it appears to be back down to $4,000 now that I want to upgrade). They had no problem taking my money for the "Edge Up" upgrade payment. One phone was upgraded just fine, but they now say I need to put down a $300 down payment on the second phone we want to upgrade. I have talked to multiple people at Verizon because it makes no sense. I am not adding another line. I am simply trying to trade phones of equal value. If I am going to do that, I will buy one outright for $300 and add it to my plan with no contract.
Where does it say that there is an equipment cap of $4,000, and how do they think you could every have 9 or 10 (max) phones with equipment prices less than $4,000? Shouldn't that limit be associated with the number of lines on the plan or the creditworthiness of the customer rather than a "hard cap"?
I think it is unfair practice to increase it to make the initial sale, but decrease it, so they do not have to fulfill their end of the contract. Also, if they have decreased my spending limit, they did it without notifying me, and they had no reason to do so.
I guess they do not want or need my $6,000 per year. Buyer beware on Edge. It is not what they say or advertise. I was a huge fan until I tried to actually use it.

Failed to follow sane and safe upgrading practices and don't have either a bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup of your previous Lion installation?

  • Capital one CLI...do I need to put something in the "monthly spend" box?

if I leave the monthly spend box blank will that negatively affect my CLI request? Income supports higher limit, but my monthly spend is less than my CL about $4000/mo on a $5000 limit card. Thanks!

I put in 2k and got a 3k CLI. If you spend 4k, why not put it in? I don't think it matters either way, but it does seem like the majority of Cap1 CLI are only between 1k-3k anyway, although I have heard of a few 5k increases.

  • Pay as you go, seeing and changing the spending limit

Where can I find the value of the spending limit on an Azure MSDN Dev/Test Pay-As-You-Go subscription and where can I alter that value.
On the "Summary for MSDN Dev/Test Pay-As-You-Go" page there is no "Alerts" option, there is only has "Overview" and "Billing history". On the Overview page there are seven items from "Change
payment method" to "Cancel Subscription", none of these show the current limit. The only options seem to be to remove the limit entirely or to cancel it. Nothing to actually modify the limiting value.

    Hi Adrian,
Spending limit : To protect you from accidentally incurring charges for usage beyond the included offer amount, Spending Limit feature was introduced.
New Users of azure that sign up for the trial offer or one of the member offers like MSDN offer will now, by default, have a Spending Limit of
    ₹0.
When the usage exhausts monthly amounts included in your offer, azure will disable the service for the remainder of that billing month, which includes removing any hosted services that you may have deployed. The data in your storage accounts
and databases will be accessible in a read-only manner. At the beginning of the next billing month, your subscription will be re-enabled and you can re-deploy your hosted service(s) and have full access to your storage accounts and databases.
You will receive notifications once you hit the spending limit for your offer. When you log in to the Azure website and click Accounts, you can click Subscriptions and you will see notifications about subscriptions that have reached the Spending Limit.
You can remove the Spending Limit at any time. However, once removed, the Spending Limit feature cannot be re-enabled. You should remove this Spending Limit on any subscription that has applications that you cannot afford to go offline.
The following is how you can remove your Spending Limit:
Log in to the Azure Account Center
    Click Accounts
    Click Subscriptions
    Select a subscription e.g. Subscription 1
If the subscription has been disabled due to the Spending Limit being reached, click this notification: "Subscription reached the Spending Limit and has been disabled to prevent charges." Otherwise, click "Remove spending limit" in the
    Tasks area.
When you create a Microsoft Azure subscription through a member offer-- the MSDN benefit or the Microsoft Partner Network Cloud Essentials program, for example--a
spending limit of 0 is turned on automatically. The spending limit helps ensure you don’t get charged when the credits on your subscription run out. The spending limit feature isn’t available for other subscription types such as the Free Trial offer,
    pay-as-you-go subscriptions, and commitment plans.
With the spending limit turned on, when your credits are used up, Azure de-provisions subscription resources so you don’t get charged--for example, cloud services that you deployed are removed from production and your Azure virtual machines are stopped and
de-allocated. Wherever possible, data and settings are maintained, and administrators have read-only access to data in storage and databases so they can redeploy services when the subscription is re-activated. However, services and resources may lose important
settings like virtual IP addresses (VIPs) when they are de-provisioned.
Because some settings tied to the physical instances of your services may be lost, if you run important or essential services through your subscription, remove the spending limit to help ensure service and data continuity.
If you remove the spending limit, Azure begins charging for services at the pay-as-you-go rate when your credits are used up. Charges continue until credits become available for use at the next billing cycle, or until you turn on the spending limit again.
Changing the spending limit : If your subscription has a spending limit, a yellow banner appears under its listing in the Subscriptions area of the
Account Center. To view subscription information here, you must be the Account Administrator. If there’s no yellow banner, the subscription isn’t eligible for a spending limit.
Click the text in the banner to change how the spending limit is applied. You can’t change the amount of the spending limit. It’s always 0.
If you remove the spending limit, the earliest you can turn it back on is at the start of the next billing cycle.

In this step, you define the tolerance limits for price variances.

  • How do I unlock my spending limit per day?

Are you sure it is your iTunes account, or maybe your credit/debit card that has a limit? You would have to contact iTunes to find out about that. http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

  • Approveru2019s spending limit isn't sufficient -No admin defined in Aprvl BADI

    Hi,
We have an n-step BADI workflow configured based on the UNSPSC (product category).
We have routed some of our shopping carts to a separate workflow, based on the Created by (User ID) of a system user (RFC user id).
For this workflow we have maintained the approvers in a separate table, a simple table with 3 fieldsu2019 1.Approver level, 2. User ID 3. User Name.
The requirement is that the shopping cart created by a RFC user should go to these approvers (all of them) and any one will approve. There is no value limit.
The shopping carts are getting routed to these approvers and they are able to approve it, and the shopping cart gets approved successfully also.
The problem is for every shopping cart that is approved in this workflow, we are getting two error messages in the Alert monitor. This says,
u201CApproveru2019s spending limit is not sufficient for shopping cart 0012345u201D and the other one is
u201CShopping cart 0012345: No administrator defined in Approval BADIu201D
Please let us know how to approach to eliminate this error.

  • Spending Limit urgently needed,

My client's website at an Azure competitor was hacked (PHP code injection vulnerability), and burned through $400 bucks of bandwidth charges within a few hours, luckily this was during business hours and they quickly caught it and stopped it, but now they're
looking for advice. Had it happened over a holiday or vacation time, it would have cost tens of thousands of dollars. The cloud provider refused to waive the charges, but gave a 50% discount.
Does Azure provide a mechanism for placing an overall corporate-level spending limit on the account to avoid this kind of potential disaster? If not, what's the best-practice to mitigate risk? An attack on an unattended server can quickly bankrupt a small
    business.

However, if you are the Account Administrator for a Windows Azure subscription, you can set up email alerts when a subscription reaches a spending threshold you choose. Alerts are currently not available for subscriptions associated with a commitment
plan. refer to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn479772.aspxfor more details about how to set up Windows Azure billing alerts.

  • How to define User spend limit in ECC 6.0

    Hi All,
I would like to know, is there any way where we can define spend limit per User. This can later be used whether for a particular PR where value is more than this limit has to go for approval. If it is less than it should not be applicable for approval.
In SRM, I know we can define in personalizatio Object key, BBP_SPEND_LIMIT.
