More than 4 unique color in Date Navigator

Dear Experts,
In Webdynpro ABAP, I have to pass more than 4 dates to Date Navigator UI element and based on that dates I have to set unique color for each date.
But I am getting the u201CThe ASSERT condition was violatedu201D error when I am passing more than 4 dates. Please suggest me possible solution to fix this issue.
Note: If I pass 6 dates then Date Navigator should display those 6 dates with unique color.

You cannot able to add more that 4 becaue the type of the category Property is WDUI_DATE_MARKING_CATEGORY
Where the value is mainted in domain with 4 option only that represents
00     neutral
01     positive
02     critical
03     negative
in the class also sap is maintaining the 4 values only
CL_WD_DATE_NAV_LEGEND=>E_CATEGORY
but you can able to add more than 4 legends with same colour is posible .

Time out (more than 24 hours) deleting master data.

We are trying to delete the 0CUST_SALES = ´000000000#´ but we are not able to do it because if we delete and try to save in rsa1>infoobject->choose the characteristic->'master data maintenance', there will be a time out error. We tried than using the program RSDMD_DEL_BACKGROUND but it would take more than
72 hours and we wouldnt be able to do any load for the cubes that contains the 0CUST_SALES. And also there is several aggregates with 0CUST_SALES
Do you know any other way around to delete this 0CUST_SALES = ´000000000#´?

Do you want to delete only that record (0000000#) from 0CUST_SALES.iF SO, GO TO rsdmd and select that record and delete. if t doesnt work you might want to try SE14. Bu please be advised that, when you this Tcode spl care shd be taken as you will be wiping everything from the tables.

What If more than one filed contain data filed, do I need to run the rule file more than one times

This has been discussed mant times in the list.You can search for a more complete answer, but basically, you don't define a column as data but rather with the measure/account/whatever it represents.
for exampel suppose you ahve the numbers 10,10,10 in your file. Instead of seting the member to data, you could set the firt column to Jan, the second to Feb and the third to Mar

Printing more than 27 spot colors HELP

I have been printing a document that I use more that 27 spot colors, I use a Xerox Docucolor 240 which supports printing pantone colors. I have been printing this document for 3 years now when I try to print this document I am getting an error. It wants me to convert my spot colors to process, but when I do this my colors do not print properly. Any Ideas? It is very important my colors print correctly for this document, I can not convert them to process. Why has this stopped working for me now?

Hi Tracy. I found this post when searching for a solution to the same problem! Our workflow incorporates a lot more spot colours than 27 as we are merging a document which imports graphics/images according to a customer's branding. We have to use spot colours so that we can tweak them to a closer match when temperature/new fiery updates etc change the colours away from the orginal created (our customers have literature printed months, sometimes years later than when created). We simply wouldn't have time to manually input tweaked colour values to all the artwork documents we handle.
Anyway, Tracy I also ran into the same problem. We used to be fine merging, with each page being created and added so we end up with a multipage file after the merge, and then we can spool to print in one hit. Now all of a sudden we have this error too. No I haven't found a solution either! Please do let us know if you find an answer.

HT4914 Do you need to purchase more than the basic 5 Gigs of free iCloud storage if you have more than 5 Gigs of all data that can be stored on iCloud if you subscribe to iTunes Match?

I purchased an additional 10 Gigs of iCloud storage in 2012 for my iPhone 4S and iPad (3rd Gen Wi-Fi) for $20 per year through my iPhone carrier AT&T using IOS 4.3 which has been kept updated to IOS 6.13. In 2012 I purchased an iPad 3rd Generation with Wi-Fi only and at the end of my one year 10 gig upgrade I noticed that I had not used any of the additional 10 gigs and was not going to renew the additional storage. However, I decided to move all of my MP3 music library and copy my remaining CD collection of music (a couple hundred CD's) to my Windows Computer Hard Drive so that I could keep them safe.
As I started purchasing new Albums from iTunes I decided to allow iTunes to store all my music in case my Hard Drive crashed. I did not purchase iTunes Match but all of my collections appear to be stored on iTunes as the storage cloud appears on my Apple devices which use the same Apple ID. A week ago I purchased another iPad (4th Generation Wi-Fi only) so my wife and I could use them at the same time. I kept everything under the same Apple ID because I use a lot of music creation apps like AmpliTube, Drum machines, Guitar Pro etc for creating music as well as Photo Apps for my Photography hobby and I wanted access to the apps regardless of which device was handy (including connecting the 2 iPads together for music looping and more).
I still don't see any of the additional Ten gigs used as less than 500 Meg's are backed up into memory from each of the three devices.
QUESTION: What is the advantage of an iTunes Match subscription if my library of some 10K songs are already stored on iTunes and I have not yet exceeded the initial 5 gigs of free iCloud storage? I keep my library in MP3 format for convenience and convert my music library to between 192 and 320 Kbps. Given the choice should I cancel the additional iCloud storage and subscribe to iTunes Match. Is iTunes Match a replacement for purchasing additional iCloud Storage?

More than one field in generic data source

We wanted extract Allocation data for the sales order from R/3 to BW. I am not able to find proper data source for it... there are two datasources..we wanted afs specific datasource
2LIS_11_V_ITM : Sales-Shipping Allocation Item Data
2LIS_11_V_SCL : Sales-Shipping Allocation Schedule Line
But its not reflecting allocated quantity at all...
So we decided to create generic data source.. but there is one problem for some allocation ARUN is initial.. so i cann't use ARUN as delta field... can i use comination of Sales order no,Item and Schedule line number as delta field....
Because in RSO2 i can define only one field as delta specific field....
How to proceed ???

If you decided to use generic data source, make sure that, U'll have to take only
one filed as a delta, I suggest, you take any date field rather than the value fields
it may be created date/change date and so on so forth..

You can only sync with one iTunes library at a time. That is why iTunes erases the old data from the previous sync. You can Manually Manage music and videos - but that is different than syncing.

Yes. you can select exactly what you want to sync - music, apps, photos etc. Just do not unselect any content in iTunes that you want to keep on the device or it will be erased when you sync.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes

Yes. But you have to sign into the ID that you want to use on the iPad in order to sync that from that ID.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. You have to remember to keep switching back and forth if you use two ID's.

Help with Cascading More Than 2 Level Autocomplete in Data Grid

Following the helpful tutorials by Beth Massi and others(trust me, I've read them all), I was able to get partially there with autocomplete filtering.
I have gotten this to work on two dropdown levels but that's it. There is no tutorial that really touches deeper relationships than two. Here is the basics.
Customer Table
Locations(Customer can have many)
Order Table
Trip Table (Order can have many) (Trip must have a Location)
(Customer can have multiple addresses. Trips can be entered in the order as delivery routes)
To enter a trip, I need to select Customer type(CustomerTable), which does filters the customer.
CustomerName(CustomerTable) is selected, and it does filter Locations(LocationsTable).
(The automatically created autcomplete box in the screen for Locations by default I believe just shows the first item in the table which happens to be Address, so I don't even know if I'm filtering properly in the end to go any further.)
I am fine until here. after the Address(Location) is selected, I need to display the city field, and zip field. I have tried every which way but Sunday and can't figure out the required Query and bindings.
I am new to much of this so sorry if I shorted any details, if I can provide anything further for some insight please let me know.

Is it possible to achieve this using DateField?
If no is there any 3rd party control allows such a feature? I found nothing on this.

Jason, what you wrote is not true I am afraid. Property selectableRange of DateField expects object and not an array. In other words it will only work with singular date range.
I am currently working on a tool where I need to limit date selection on DateField. Basically user will select some task on drop down and type of the task (assignment) should restrict possible entries on DateField component. I am no stranger to using property selectableRange but sadly it does not work with multiple ranges:(
I would not like to try and change standard Flex code (DateChooser.as for instance) to achieve that as I don’t want to be bothered with re-doing these bits when upgrading (migrating to newer Flex or whatnot).
kilyas2007, I would suggest doing the following:
1) Merge your date ranges into one (from lowest to highest value)
2) Disable unwanted dates in between using disabledRanges property (this is an array parameter thankfully)
Perhaps someone knows a better way to do it?

The I/O count is well within the capabilities of Lookout. If you are working with this size of an application you should look into the features of Lookout 5.0. There are means to backup your data from a different computer. Also view and export your data easily from the new Historical Data Viewer. There has always been means for redundancy. Going through a course manual also helps, class or self paced.

I would like to ask someone for help.
I have an XML file a result of the XSLT transformation. A schema was created based on this XML and this schema is bound to a form as a data source. When I preview my form using a Preview tab with transformed XML as a Data File in LiveCycle Designer 8.1, I can see only the first form data across 3 Text fields on the form. The rest of the forms are not getting displayed. What am I doing wrong?

Need more than 255 character to show data in print program

I am using read_text FM. We have 8 lines in itab almost 2000 character.
Now I want to show it in my smartforms. I used concatenate lines of itab into result separated by space.
But here I am getting only 255 character in our result. Can any body help me out to resolve this problem.

No need to use the FM Read_text. use include text instead of text element and pass the required field value combination, then SAP will automatically display it.

Data Type olny suports 40 rows: You mean you need 40fields for each record. You can have more than that.
