Mouseover generates clickable field

How can I make a picture with a mouseover that will be clickable in order to click on a 'more info' button on the mouseover picture?
Specifically, I have a bunch of pictures on the site across each other and once you go over a picture with the mouse a field opens with the same image, only larger, with a 'more info' button. I added to the picture the show/hide behaviour, so mouse over is show picture and mouseout is hide picturte. The problem is that when you go to the 'moreinfo' button your mouse leaves the hotspot with the mouseover behaviour, so the mouseover picture disappears.
I tried to solve this by also adding to the mouseover image the behaviour show at mouseover and hide with mouseout. This worked OK, only when going over the hotspot on the 'more info' button the image dissappeared, so I also added this mouseover show and mousout hide behaviour to this button. I thought I had solved the problem, but it doesnt work well, sometimes mouseover pictures stay where they should disappear.
Can you help me solve this problem? Preferably in simple language, because I'm a designer and not a programmer.

You can do it this way:
Let's say you have the following -
1. A hotspot (call it hotspot)
2. A hidden image containing a link (call it imageLink)
Mouseover the hotspot to reveal the image. Do not use the automatic restore.
Click the imageLink to visit the linked page.
Mouseout the imageLink to hide the recently revealed image.
It's really very simple.

Auto-generate form fields from PDF in LiveCycle?

I have a PDF created with InDesign that is destined to be an interactive PDF form. For previous versions I have imported it into Acrobat and had it generate the fields based on the text columns I layed out in InDesign.
I wanted to try for more function in my form, so I thought I'd use LiveCycle, but I can't figure out how to get it to automatically create form fields when I first import the PDF. Is this not something that LiveCycle does, or am I just missing something?

I don't like automatically generated PDFs.
But sure you can create this with the LCD. The only thing is that the acrobat recognize lines (for example) and place a textobject to this location. The LCD not really.
Open the LCD
Then select "New Form".
Then select "Import PDF".
Then select "Create"
Then the software will try to recognize everything..
My opinion is - THE BEST WAY to create a formular is this to create by myself in the LCD step by step. Then this software has so many possibilities...for really good PDFs.

Hi,
Yes it can be implemented by using scripts.
Here you can do the hide and visible things and once the field is binded in the interactive form that do not change.
We can utilize the context node elements only once we can put into interactiveform only . we can not use as dynamically as Context attributes.

Validate Dynamically Generated Form Fields

Hello, I am having difficulty in validating some text boxes I dynamically generated using javascript.
I have done the below which is not working..... giving errors of undefined or is null

How to remove the automatically generated text fields from the InfoSet

I followed the procedure by SAP help.
Automatically generated text fields are marked with a 'T' on the icon in the InfoSet. You can remove the automatically generated text fields from the InfoSet in the initial screen of the InfoSet maintenance under Further Functions -> Delete Text Fields. Cancel the DataSource creation on the next screen and delete the text fields in the InfoSet maintenance transaction.
I know that there is an option "No automatic text recognition" when I create a new InfoSet, however, I couldn't find out how to change an existed InfoSet. I checked menu Goto->Global Properties, but that option is disabled. Is there a way to remove text fields from an existed InfoSet?

In the initial screen (when you enter transaction code SQ02) type your infoset name and goto menu: Infoset -> More functions -> Delete text fields. this will delete all text fields.

I followed your instructions and it works
I recently downloaded the production version of JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 10.1.3.1.0.3984
Build JDEVADF_10.1.3.1.0_NT_061009.1404.3984
I installed JHeadstart evaluation version.
I recreate the same example with this new version of JDeveloper
I found the bean definition in the jag-config.xml (by default)
I removed the "#ITEM_PARTIAL_TRIGGERS_PROP" from the template (default/item/form/formSecret.vm )
I thought it will work but unfortunately it doesn't work and and I got the same error

Generating Manager field in OID by using Pre-populate Adapter

Hi Rajiv,
I am generating the value to the manager field in OID.I found this value getting generated in the OID user form.But this value is not provisioning during provisioning the user.
In the OID Configuration Lookup table i found the manager is mapped to ldapManager.But when i connected to OID through ldap browser i didn't find this attribute.The manager attribute is not there.
So can you help me to solve this.

AET issue: Problem in generating Z fields

Hi Experts,
We released the service request of the Zfields to Quality server. But request is released with problem as u2018Enhancement is not active and cannot be transportedu2019.
Note: We created Zfields using AET tool. Fields was created successfully but with error (Fields was not generated). However we are able use those fields without an issue.
I tried to regenerate the Extension ID of the Zfield in extension analyzer. But it is not generating and showing message as u2018ZAEXT00004V was not generatedu2019
Please help me to rectify this scenario

You are right steve. Error Message(Unknown dynpro popup was raised during generation of BWA_DATASOURCE_FIELD 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H) was raised when I was created the fields in AET only but not in AXTSHOW.
Fields was created successfully but with error.we are able use those fields without an issue.
After that only I tried to re-generate the enhancement in AXTSHOW. Then I got message as 'ZAEXT00004V was not generatedu2019

Hi Sri Rao,
Since you have created a one to one mapping, it would be required to map all the fields in your target message to ur source fields. In case there r some target fields which do not relate to your source field, map it onto a constant. This is all that is required to be done from what i understand from your query. In case there r further problems send the source n target data structure n i will be able to help you out better.

How the text elements of the SMARTFORMS can generate a field?

Hello guys
I have got this problem of not getting the value of the fields from the smartform. i wrote the text element to populate the field by inserting as the following &IV_BID_HEADER-PROCESS_TYPE& first it comes with the shaded background but after i activate the smartform the shaded part will gone and it remain as &IV_BID_HEADER-PROCESS_TYPE& which basically cannot populate any value.
can anyone help me on this,to keep the field remain shaded at the background which basicallly can populate the values of the fields.

Please click on "FIELD LIST on/off" or ctrlshiftf4 and then drag and drop the same from the left bar.
First find whether you have declared the value in Global Variables OR in Import/Export Interfaces.

My experience suggest there may be a better way...

Auto generate date field.

Is there a simple method for automatically displaying the current date in a form field? My form may take several days to run through the process I've created but the customer would like the final step's date input to be automated.

You can create a variable of type 'date'.
Then with a setValue use the expression current-date() to get the current date.
Finally use the setValue to set the data element on your form with the value of your date variable.

Repeating Subform to Generate Text Field

I hope I can explain this clearly. I have a repeating subform form on page 1 that ask for child's name. Later in the form I need to ask other questions regarding the children. What I would like to happen is for each child listed on page 1, it would populate the Child's name in the child's information subform on page 3.

For each field you want to have the same value, go to the binding tab and under data binding (open, save, submit), set both fields to an same value (it can be anything). Alternatively, you can use global data binding, and change the name of both fields to the same thing.

U mean u want to know at runtime?
Get the output from ur proxy as a string, count the number of "<" characters and divide it by 2. :-P
Of course, you'll have to treat the header fields separately.
