Move up, hide etc. panel not showing

I'm not seeing the little panel in fluid grid layout to move up a row, hide, duplicate or delete. I've searched the menus to see if I can find where it's been turned off by accident and can't find anything. I saw in another post where a modified boilerplate file might cause it, but mine is the original. I'm on the latest CC 2014 version.

My workflow is something like this:
#1 Build mobile layout. Keep it very simple. No content, just the primary containers inside the gridContainer.
     header, nav, article, aside, footer.
#2 Build tablet layout.
#3 Build desktop layout.
#4 When everything responds as it should in browser tests, stop editing the layout. There's no reason to go back to layout from this point on.
#5 Create a new CSS file for content, typography, backgrounds, etc... & Save it.
#6 Link your HTML document to the new style sheet & save it.

Your HTML page should look something like this:
     <link href="boilerplate.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
     <link href="FluidGrid.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
     <link href="MyContentStyles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen">
Now you can add page content and style rules to MyContentStyles.css without touching your FluidGrid.css. Just pay attention to which style sheet is selected in the top of your CSS editor/Designer Panel.
That's all there is to it.

I have also registered to this forum to inform that the problem with showing the MAC-address in the sidebar of the finder is still not solved.
The strange thing is that the Embedded Web Server says:

But I did assign a user-specified host name and that name does show-up everywere (also within Bonjour), except in the sidebar of the finder (hp###xx##x####). Lots of people have the same issue, when searching on the interet, but not one has found the solution.
Please help with solving this issues?

But, one little thing to share:
"There's an option in settings for Playlists. It was set to Music only. Changed that to All then found the movie playlist under Movies by selecting Genre."
This is not to be done in iTunes in your computer; this is to be done at your apple TV under "setting". "audio video" "show playlist" "music only/all"
I am posting this here because I started chat mode with Apple support last night at midnight till 1:30, they didn't know what to do.
They called me back this morning at 10 am.
It's not 11:40 they finally know what I am talking about and showed me where to to find the "music only / all" toggle. My problem is now fixed;
all these time, they have in front of them a screen shot of your questions and answer but they don't know where to change it from music only to all.
So, I hope this will save the next victim a lot of time.

You need to provide more information. How are you connecting your iPad to the TV. Are you using an Apple TV 2, a component AV cable, a composite AV cable or the digital AV cable?

JColorChooser : "Swatches"-tab's recent-panel not showing recent color

Hello all,
in JColorChooser on "Swatches" tab we have one panel named "recent" and another
named "Preview".
Problem 1.
After i close my Color-chooser-dialog and reopen again , Preview-panel shows
the last selected ie recently selected color BUT recent-panel not showing any color.
Although on other Tab like "RGB" i am getting the selected color's RGB values .
Below is the code-snippet , Am I doing anything wrong ?
Problem 2.
This problem is not consistent. What happens that whatever RGB values i set,
next time when i open the chooser , Red-value gets educed by 1 !!!

I'm having the same problem with the default color chooser. Whenever it is closed it seems to lose all of the recent colors information. If you figure it out please let me know!!

Document/Text Panel not showing

Here I go again, another problem. I now find that my one
panel that has the document, text, object size, etc. panel is not
showing, the other two do. Have no idea what happened. Tried to
hide and un-hide all panels to no avail. I read the other threads
about toolbars missing, but this is a panel and only 1 is now
missing. Does anyone have an idea how I can get this to reappear?

You may have simply closed it by hitting a key command. If
you are
referring to the Object Inspector it's default key command is
"cmd I" if
it is grouped with other inspectors the whole group will
appear/disappear with the key command. You can also turn them
on and off
through the Window > Inspectors menu.

Window panels not showing

None of my windows panels are showing up (the ones that are located on the right by default, i.e: layers, stroke, swatches etc).
I tried changing my workspace to different things but no panels are showing up. I also tried resetting my workspace and quitting illustrator.
Even individually clicking on each panel under the Window menu won't help.
This started happening today after I updated to the latest version of Illustrator CC 2014

You may try the relevant parts of the list (5) is least likely to help).
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Bridge cs3 and content panel not showing all images

I am using Bridge CS3
If I scale my panel images down very small all are visible. If I enlarge the images beyond the visible area, a scroll bar appears. However if I move the scroll bar to the end, it does not show the last two images. I cant get to them
Any suggestions on what is happening

Traffic Lights For Hyperlinks panel not showing. INDESIGN.

My traffic lights for the hyperlinks panels are not showing and I have the latest version of CC. How do I show/hide them? Thanks

First, make sure you have InDesign CC 9.2.1. Choose InDesign > About InDesign (Mac) or Help > About InDesign (Windows).
If you're up-to-date, try restoring your preferences:
Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

Movies playing in iTunes will not show closed captions

I have purchased several movies from the iTunes store. They all have Closed Captioning listed in the store description. I need Closed Captioning because I have hearing loss and even with my hearing aids, I cannot hear all the dialogue in movies.
In my iTunes app, I opened Preferences-->Playback and checked the box for "Show closed captioning when available." Then I play the movie in iTunes. No captions. I click on the Controls menu for Audio & Subtitles. It's grayed out.
I go to the .m4v file in Finder and open the movie with Quicktime to see whether I can get captions that way. No captions. I check the View menu for Show Closed Captioning. It's grayed out.
At this point I'm thinking these movies do not really HAVE captions, despite what the store description said. However, this proves to be wrong because I turn on my TV and start up my Apple TV 3. I select "Movies" and then "Purchased" and find these movies. When I play these movies via the Apple TV, they all show up on the TV screen with the captions working perfectly.
So, what gives? I've spent hours searching the internet for a solution, but all I can find is that the selection I've made in iTunes preferences *should* make the captions show up in iTunes. I'm stumped. I want to play the movies on my computer in iTunes (or in Quicktime) so that I don't have to be at my house in front of my TV in order the enjoy them. Is there any way I can make these movies play in iTunes with the captions showing? Can anyone make any suggestions? I'd be very grateful if someone could help me achieve this goal.

I have same problem with my son's iPod Touch running iOS 5.1.1. I set "explicit" to off, but then many songs we purchased on iTunes that are labeled as "clean" do not show up on his iPod Touch. If I set "explicit" to on, they do show up.

My movies, audio, purchases, etc no longer shows up on my iTunes! HELP!

i clicked to open my iTunes when all of the sudden not only did the itunes open but it started to "IMPORT" itunes rather than open to its window! i click "stop" downloading in the middle. when i reopened my iTunes icon i the only ones i see is my:
- music
- under PLAYLIST the only one showing is SHUFFLE everything else like purchased songs, and my folders are gone!
- movies: i downloaded are no longer showing up on my movies folder.
- audiobooks: the same thing i see!
i'm afraid to connect my iPod to my laptop in fear i will lose my movies, audiotbooks , purchased and added songs, recently added songs and the like!
what should i do? what happened? is my itunes libary corrupted?

i also want to add that i downloaded itunes 7 hoping i can restore the folders i lost. unfortunately it didnt work.

Search hover panel not showing up in Internet Explorer with custom master page

The hover panel is not showing up in internet explorer. I am using a custom master page and it works no problem in the other browsers. When I fire up the debugger there is an error message when i hover over a search result item:
I tried debugging the JavaScript but i am not sure what is going on with it.
Am I missing reference or something done like that? It has to be something simple because I have been scratching my head for a while on this.
Any ideas?

Have you tried rendering the site in IE Compatability Mode? Compatability Mode solves a lot of problems in this area because older versions of IE had a unique interpretation of HTML code.

Movie playlist in iTunes is not showing up on ATV3

I created a Movie playlist in iTunes with 3 trailers and a movie. I can view the playlist fine in iTunes. When I go to my ATV3 the playlist does not show up anywhere. There is no playlist option under movies and the playlist doesn't show up when I select playlists under Music. I can access my music playlists fine and also the movies. It's just this Movie playlist that is missing on the ATV. Where do I access a Movie playlist on ATV3?
iTunes version: 11.0.1
Apple TV software: 5.1.1

Jmf audio and video control panel not show up in netbeans

I am running AVReceive2 in netbeans. The control panel does not show up when I run this in Netbeans. When I run the same code in DOS I get the control panel. The core component to the panel has not been changed. Am I missing something. I just reinstalled everything and still have the same problem. I need to get this resolved ASAP. Thank you for all the help.

Also, I can't think of anything that would cause that problem other than library issues, because it sounds like you have JMF installed correctly if it works in a terminal, but Netbeans overrides your system settings to use its own.
