MR8M - Cancelling Document gives Error

Hello Experts,
Need a pointer for the following problem.Hope someone could help.
I have an invoice which Iam trying to cancel,"It gives me an error that the invoice Cannot be processed".
According to my findings the Invoice contains 2 purchase orders.
One the normal purchase oder and
the other a purchase oder with purchase text "Frac Shipment Costs" where the amount was 0.
When I debugged I come to the drseg tabelle.
The first purchase oder (say 5896188) was processed sucessfully.
The settings in the tablle was
XEKBE - X
XEKBZ -
The second PO had the settings
XEKBE -
XEKBZ - X
and it was giving the error.
Could any onbe tell me how to proceed...

clearing document will not appear in the purchasing document history tab
you have to check with FB03 - display or
you double click on that Invoice document and see wether any clearing document is available in that clearing document field and clearing date field
if so you have to reverse the same and then you have to use MR8M.

I have implemented an application that retrieves URLs from Content Server and turns them into clickable links. Sometimes when I try to retrieve the document via this link, I get the error:
The requested URL //stellent/groups/arnhem/documents/bouwarchief/idc000665.pdf was not found on this server.The apache log shows:
[Tue Nov 13 08:21:03 2007] [error] [client 192.168.0.60] [ecid: 1194938463:192.168.0.13:28533:0:1558,0] File does not exist: /oracle/product/ucm/server/weblayout/groups/arnhem/documents/bouwarchief/idc000665.pdfAfter a browser reload, the document shows up alright.
I have changed the FileStoreProvider to store all documents in the database.
Is this a performance problem? How can I prevent this from happening?

Using ifuse gives the following error message:
$ ifuse /tmp/iAdobe --documents com.adobe.Adobe-Reader

I can't remember that there was something exceptional in the settings on my iphone that had to be changed to get access in the first run. I only pressed “trust” as requested by the iphone.
In the meantime I did the same test with another linux installation (my old openSUSE 13.1). Regrettably the behaviour is/was exactly the same. At the first try the directories of the Apps could be accessed but not any more at a further try.
It seams that during the first pairing some settings of the gvfs-afc, usbmuxd, libimobiledevice or ifuse -installation are set in a faulty manner.

Alignment utility cancels and gives error paper size/type wrong C6180

Recently, at startups, I'm getting a scheduled maintenance message to align the printer. As noted in subject I get an error and the alignment cancels. I have tried all the suggestion listed on the support web site for issue with no help. I tried different papers, HP premium ink jet included and still get error. I get error regardless if I run utility from printer controls or from one of my computers attached to my network. Suggestions?? Will I have a problem aligning after my next ink cartridge change? At this point print quality is perfect

I just tried using Notepad as you suggested and had the same result. Paper feeds in stops at proper place and error message "out of paper"
I just put in two new HP ink cartridges because the other two were low and I was told that this might be the problem.
I seem to remember that the HP 2610 shows 2 "ink icons" in the lower left corner. One for black and one for color. The ink icons would change from completly full to just an outline as the amount of ink went down. Currently the black ink icon is missing
This is a very frustrating problem because the printer works great after doing a few steps to get around the problem. The fact that the problem reoccurs any time anything is changed is the major problem
Most of the problems started when I added the printer to the Windows 7 virtual machine so I could work with Windows XP programs. This may just be a coincidence because the printer still has the same problems when I use the copy function without the computer even being on.
I want to thank you for all of your efforts. Perhaps this is a unique problem that will never be solved and it is best to take my losses and buy a new printer. As a last chance, if possible, could you refer my post to someone who is an expert with the HP 2610 printer.

Cancel z51 document, get error message.

when i cancel z51 scrap document via MBST, system give error message 'Check table 063: entry WS ST H does not exist'. message no is 'M7001'. How to resolve the problem?

I think
WS is the Transaction/Event Type in the Table T063 which is " Goods Mvt in Repetitive Manufacturing ", You need to link with the Plant in SPRO>Materials Management>Inventory Management and Physical Inventory>Plant Parameters>Against any plant under Goods Movement Tab
Also check in OMJJ select the movement type and in the "Reversal/follow-on movement types" tab check whether the function code "ST" is linked to that Movement type or not

OOTB workflow gives error when user rejects in the document in publishing a major version.

Hi All,
I am using OOTB workflow with little customization with following configuration
1. Allow content approval enabled
2. Configure a workflow with following general settings true
3. Start workflow on publish of Major version only is enabled
4. workflow has following configuration enabled.
Now, when user start publishing of major version and Starts the workflow. workflow starts without any problem.
But as and when the user rejects the document it is rejected with Reject status with "Approval Status" as well as workflow status which is expected.(This is correct )
But when i look at the workflow history i can see at last line there is an Error with
An error has occurred in In [Workflow Name].
Now when user check out and check in item again and try to publish with Major version again. it gives errors that the previous version is still running.
I have trace a lot and also test with original OOTB workflow itself. it is behaving the same.
As per my findings there is problem in "Completion condition of this task process" the end task process is not being executed correctly.
I tried to end the task process with End the task process action but it is still not working.
I need some help in this issue as users are facing problems in case of rejection. I hope some one has the solution for the same.
Two things i have noticed are
1. My MS office 2010 professional plus is expired as i was using trial version
2. I have made stop inheriting tasks permission and remove all default groups as i have settings in workflow "Only allow task reception and process owner to read and edit workflow task"
3. Earlier i had also installed "Sharepoint 2010 April 2012 updates". i had also observed that (installing Sharepoint 2010 April 2012 updates) before that if user has selected "Automatically rejects the document if any participant rejected". it ends
with "rejected" status. At present it remains in inprogress and not stops with rejected status.
Can any one give me a hint what should be the problem ? Is it a problem with latest Sharepoint 2010 April 2012 updates ?

I have done following testing.
1. The server in which i have not installed sharepoint 2010 April 2012 updates the above scenario is working fine without any problem
2. I have also observed following logs of error in server where April 2012 updates is installed.

Error 'cannot cancel document with a down payment that was drawn to invoice. We need to void a check and are getting this message. We also get message when trying to cancel the outgoing payment. The AP Down payment is closed, and the AP invoice is also closed. Is there a way to 'undraw' the down payment on the AP invoice? How can this be voided? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I have a requirement, to have or develop report which gives service entry sheet reversal documents (Status: Error in process),
while investigation i found below options (not exactly meeting my requirement)
1) Display and Process Confirmations Centrally >Document Category>reverse documents
which giving all reversed document list (need only error list) and it is giving only my puchasign group list (need all purchasing group list)
2) I can execute PPB_PD with BUS2203>status>I1019
is there any way/possible option that i can execute a report of reversal service entry sheets which ststus :error in process"

But this is what has happened. No the SES was not deleted in ECC before the confirmation was deleted in SRM. Our users don't have access to ECC T-codes.
Also I have checked the time at which the cancellation was created and everything is in sync.
How can i change the status of SES from 'Error in process' to 'posted in backend'?

How can I turn off document.write error in PTWC 2.0?

Hi everyone. I have an application that (unfortunately) avoids processing on the server and instead pushes a lot of JavaScript w/ document.write statements to the portal. Also, the code can't be changed so that it does server-side processing. I understand that document.write calls in JavaScript may not appear on the first load, that said...
Does anyone out there know how to turn off the document.write error message that appears when a portlet uses PTWC 2.0?

Apologies, I could have been clearer. Somehow, someone has managed to enable a template for one of the document libraries. When I click 'New' in the document library it opens a template Word document with writing on it already. I want to turn this off so
that when I click 'New' I am give the default option to open a new Word Excel PowerPoint or OneNote document.
I checked in advanced settings for the particular library and have tried turning off Allow management of content types but this does not change anything.

When I am creating PO with reference to contract system gives error that "Document type MK is not assigned to document category "F" I am not aware of assignment of document category to document type. Please can anyone tell me where to assign the same.

Check if you have renamed any of the item categories in Define External Representation of Item Categories..
I doubt there is a standard Item category such as "F"
You need to check the definition for Document Type under Contract and ensure that "F" is also one of the allowed item categories under document type MK.

It seems the field "Financial doc.no" is made as mandatory in VA01. Also if I am right, you are trying to create an export sale order which is against L/C.
To create L/C, go to VX11N, give the required datas and save. While saving, system will generate a reference. Make a note of this reference and now go to VA01, give the required datas and select header Billing tab where you can find a field "Financial doc.no.". Assign the above reference here and now save.

While Changing the status system gives error

In Solution Manger, While changing the status from Tcode SE38 with Program CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT system gives error.
Document 8000002519 refused for technical reasons: ERROR_FREE
Message no. SOCM_ACTION_LOG203
Diagnosis
The status value cannot be changed.
The document may no longer be modifiable as a result of its status, or it may be being edited by another user.
System Response
This change transaction is skipped during report processing.
Procedure
Analyze the corresponding document during transaction processing and perform the status change manually if necessary.
Also if i select the status as in process, then it executes sucessfully. Please help me in this.

Pls check your SP level because till SP17 this (CRM_SERV_REPORT) Tcode is not present
I just checked.
So it seems this is availabe only after SP18.... we can use the above report.
Kindly confirm once you solve your problem.

We have several VIP employees that are getting the following error on all PowerPoint documents that come as attachments from Outlook.
I have researched and tried the following steps and verified these settings are already applied.
I did find a work around but not a fix and our security team will NOT allow me to change this setting however if I uncheck the setting all employees can open the outlook attachment.
Any other ideas on a fix for this if I am unable to uncheck Enable Protected View.

It looks like nobady really find a solution there, the only workaround is what you have found - change the protected view setting in Trust Center. You will lose some security by doing this but it seems to be the only solid solution currently.

Document Contains Errors - Approval not possible

Hi,
We are having issue in our Invoice Workflow.
When ever the approver is trying to approve the document, he is getting the error message "Document Contains Errors -> Approval not possible".
We have verified the document and check for error messages and found the below error messages on the Document.
E BBP_PD 047 Posting period 006 2011 is not open.
The document was submitted some time in the first week of December and as part of AP process the posting period will be closed during the first week of every month. This is a common business case and why is it stopping from posting the doc?
FYI..this Invoice is posted against the WBS element.
Pls give some insight on this and how to address the issue.

The posting date in the invoice is referring to the past period which is closed.You will have to change the invoice posting date to current period date and then process.
