MSI GP60 96 degrees celsius normal when doing heavy work?

I'm currently rendering a video in Sony Vegas Pro 13 as we speak and the CPU temperature is at 96 degrees (system monitoring with the MSI Dragon Gaming Center App). Is this normal? The video is around 40 mins, so it might take some time to render. But what worries me is the CPU temp. Just in case you're wondering, I have a MSI GP60 i7 Laptop with an Nvidia 840M graphics card. Also I'm only using the CPU to render the video in Sony Vegas because apparently the 840M isn't that powerful enough to handle rendering on it's own.
Beside the temperature I've also noticed that MSI Dragon Gaming Center App shows that it's currently using 90-80% of my CPU power, but when I look at the task manager it shows 55%. Which one is accurate? Task Manager or MSI System Monitoring?
What are your thoughts?

Hi, laptop thermal FAN design is not possible as powerful as a desktop PC, therefore it is normal to see 96 degrees when you are using CPU to do rendering job. As long as the laptop is still stable when it is on heavy loading, I don't think there would be big problem.
As for the system loading display, Task manager would reflash the dispaly every second, but MSI Gaming center? I guess it just follows the result of task manager, and there might be time gap between their display result. I think you can base on the task manager to judge the current loading.

I configured HR trigger rule for infotype 0000 & subtype Z1,field MASSN with value equal to 01 to trigger new hire...i don't see any data being populated into table /VIRSA/INT_TRIG & ?VIRSA/DATA.
I could see the rule in table /VIRSA/RULEATTR.
Any help would be appreciated.

When does a work cycle on a mailbox server actually start in Exchange 2010/2013?

So the question came up in work today as to when a work cycle on a mailbox server (e.g. ManagedFolderWorkCycle) actually starts. For example if it's set for 7 days, what 7 days does it choose? Is the first day the day the server was last
restarted? Or is it the day the MSExchangeMailboxAssistants service was restarted? Is there some set day and hour considered the start? Or something else i'm not thinking of? I've checked various technet
library articles but it doesn't state how the exact start date and time is derived.

According to your description, it seems ManagedFolderAssistantSchedule
that Ed mentioned is the great method to specify the date of service restarting. And I notice that this parameter also used in both Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013, not only for 2010 RTM.
Detailed information about this parameter as below:
The ManagedFolderAssistantSchedule parameter specifies the intervals each week during which the Managed Folder Assistant applies messaging records management (MRM) settings to managed folders. The format is StartDay.Time-EndDay.Time. You can use the following values for the start and end days:
•Full name of the day
•Abbreviated name of the day
•Integer from 0 through 6, where 0 = Sunday
The start time and end time must be at least 15 minutes apart. Minutes are rounded down to 0, 15, 30, or 45. If you specify more than one interval, there must be at least 15 minutes between each interval.
The following are examples:
•"Sun.11:30 PM-Mon.1:30 AM"
•6.22:00-6.22:15 (The assistant will run from Saturday at 10:00 PM until Saturday at 10:15 PM.)
•"Monday.4:30 AM-Monday.5:30 AM","Wednesday.4:30 AM-Wednesday.5:30 AM" (The assistant will run on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 4:30 until 5:30.)

MSi K7N2 Delta-L + 320Gb hard drive - does it work?

So. My old hard drives have became malfunctional after long career and now it's time to buy new ones. The best price/Gb is now in 320Gb ATA disks so I'm turning to them.
The question goes..does my mainboard support those hard disks? I've done the upgrade to the latest but I'm not sure if the mainboard is capable of handling this big hard drives.
Is this hard drive size too big or can the k7n2 delta-l handle them?

X-fi driver causes 6-8 degree celsius rise in my CPU Processor!!!

Heres the simple and short version of my problem:
I have a X-Fi Titanium Fatalty Pro Series PCI-E in an AMD Phenom 9950 Black processor, Gigibyte motherboard, with 2x 2 GB 066 Mhz sticks of OCZ ram.
When the SB driver is enabled it causes my core temperature of my processor to jump 6-8 degrees celsius. When disabled it drops immeadiately to back down to what it was before. The card is of course still in the motherboard, I have tried it in my friends computer and we get the same results. The driver is causing the core processor to jump in temperature significantly. I thought maybe it was my card so I took it back and switched it out for another, SAME THING. I switched out the motherboard, the ram and the cpu, same issues. All my drivers are up to date.
Here is the long version I sent to Creative tech support:
First off I want to say I love the way the card is built and designed and how it looks but the driver support could be much better. I have always liked creative products and have purchased mp3 players to speakers to sound cards in the past years.
That might change, I have never had more issues putting together a computer in EVER all because of this sound card. I bought put everything together and every single day I would get at least one blue screen error. I tried trouble shooting the WHOLE computer. I swapped out parts and figured it was the sound card. So I contacted tech support back in January. They tried to help me and told me what to do and I did what they said. I still had issues, so they figured it was the card itself and to see if I could swap it out at the store I bought it from or warranty it out for another. I did the first of those and tried it out and still had the issue. So I figured, well maybe its my motherboard that does not like this sound card. So I bought a new motherboard, still got the blue screen error with the sound card. I put up with the issue for sometime hoping a driver my take care of the problem. Well about 3 or 4 weeks ago a driver came out and fixed the blue screen problem ( the release notes failed to even mention such a fix in it) . There is a major problem still and the driver is at blame. My CPU processor jumps about 6 degrees celsius turning my computer into a heater when enabled. When I disabled the driver in the driver management window the temperature drops dramatically. I either want this fixed soon or I want my 49.99 back that I paid for this item.So, tech support responded back and was no help at all. Has anyone else noticed this issue and anyone have any idea around it's The only thing I can think of is that there is a major flaw in the driver design that creative has put out.

Not familiar with youp-pax. Found them on the web. Do they install like the regular creative driver pack or do I unpack and install through device manager?Also test the X-Fi in another PC with XP. Works beautifully so it must be a vista/driver incompatibility issue. I also tested the 2/28 "beta" driver. Installed and now my PC does not recognize the X-Fi card. Uninstalled these and ran driver cleaner, still no go. Will I need to remove my card, clear cmos, reboot...and then install the card, clear cmos, and reboot to recover? Or is there a simpler way?

RMBP - high frequency/power noise when doing file operations?

Hi,
I noticed today that my new rMBP is emitting some strange high pitched noise, especially when doing heavy files operations like spotlight indexing or startup of the computer. It's louder and more prominent when I connect the AC adapter. It sounds like some power interference, a bit like some broken chargers do or Iphone 4s when transmitting 3G data.
It's not very loud but I can hear it clearly, when sitting in a silent room, even without closing my ear to the Macbook.
Has anybody noticed that or can advise something? Is that normal with those machines or some issue that has to be fixed? I really don't want to return it, as it is perfect otherwise...

MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti "Twin Frozr II" crash at 50 degrees Celsius

I get artifacts (pink squares all over screen) in heaven benchmark, fluid benchmark and gta 4, a few seconds later I get a black screen and then an error message there windows tell me the driver has crash but praise msi it was successfully recovered. All this then the card is nearing 50 degrees Celsius.

I tested driver on msi site and the latest nvidia driver, even tested some beta driver. All give the same result as stated above. I also tested to set the clocks at reference speed but no go. Also tested voltage at 1025.

Got a new card today, same card but new.
No problems now, seem the new card has newer bios and lower core voltage. Maybe that is a way to fix it, just upgrade bios.

Thanks for your message. You can custom set pages but there are no preset of page sizes like A4, A3, ect. I cannot click the size preference, nothing comes up

Why does CC Status say "normal" when it is not?

Why does the Creative Cloud Status report "operating normally" when it clearly is not?
I have not been able to use my CC apps that are installed on my computer since Friday, June 21, 2014. Apparently, I'm not alone.
When I launch an app, it diverts me to a screen asking for me to renew my subscription, which is up-to-date and shown to be "active" on another screen. On the screen that reports my account is active, clicking continue returns me to the "renew your subscription" screen.
Adobe has confirmed to me that this is an issue on their back-end authentication server. Their customer support personnel have been nice in responding to me and even calling me on Monday and Tuesday. They say that my issue has been escalated. I fail to see any evidence of that, since this issue is so integral to a cloud service.
Looking around at other threads, I'm not alone in having authentication issues that are due to Adobe servers.
A cloud service must be reliable in authenticating paid subscribers. If it is not authenticating every user's account accurately, then it is not operating normally. Is anyone at Adobe other than the customer support reps aware of this issue and paying attention to it?

First, put your images into iPhoto or into a separate folder. Open iTunes and connect your phone. Select the iPhone under the Devices section of iTunes' sidebar. What version of Photoshop are you running?
I've seen a couple of instances over the last week or two where Photoshop has added masks, strange colours and also merged content from two separate PSD files that were open at the same time.
This has occurred on two different iMacs, (both 10.10.x) running Photoshop CC 2014.2.2 (20141204.r.310 x64).

For Skype Video, which uses CPU and GPU to encode and decode the video, these sound about right.
Best to place your MacBook Pro on a solid (non-cloth, fabric) surface to help heat dispurtion.

I had the same issue. Initially i thought i need to take it to apple for replacing the aux port. But luckily I was able to fix it by resetting the PRAM . To reset the PRAM
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Immediately press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.Continue holding the keys down until the computer restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
Resetting PRAM may change some system settings and preferences. Use System Preferences to restore your settings.
You can try this before you take to apple store. It may work if you are lucky. Good luck
