I've implemented MSS BP 60 into EP60 SP2 Patch Level 3, and related KM.
When I try to view the folder related of an Employee the iView return me this error:

I have tried to generate the paramenter index in going into execute tab.
Acutally I have two database one is SH(for sales fact table) as source and other is SHTST (for target w_sales_F).
when i go into that it try to click on generate button it shows only for SHTST not for SH
more over in SHTST the value is coming as Informatica folder Sales where i created all mapping.
SH and SHTST both are in same database oracle 10g.

Due to this error the screen looks distorted and none of the link opens, Does that error mean that Support Packages have not been Properly Applied ,bcoz iam not able to do anything after that.None of the link opens and window looks distorted.

It is possible that that particular properties file is present only in ManagedServer1 Box and Not in the ManagedServer2 & 3 boxes. -
E-Rec - java.lang.NullPointerException when creating a VacancyReq thru MSS
Hi,
While i try attempting to create a vacancy requisition thru MSS using start method, "Previous Request", i get to see an "java.lang.NullPointerException" internal server- error in the portal.
When i checked the error log in the backend in ST22, i see the error description given below,
You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing')
access a component (variable: " ").
An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class)
before it can be used to access components.
Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the
CLEAR statement.
When there are many previous requisitions (previously raised) available for the Manager I.D iam testing, iam not sure why this error is showing up,
Has any one faced this issue before? can some one give any clues on the issue iam facing.
Info - I have hidden 2 other start methods available in standard thru configuration (Job & No Reference) from the manager grouping. But i have thorougly checked the configuration and there doesnt seem to be a problem with the configuration as such.

One thing i can say is the Null Pointer Exceptin when ther is no value in the field which has been submiited .The code shd be written in the try and catch block so that u can know hwat is the error all about .
just check in the Ui which u have made is the user having data reated to that .

Java.lang.NullPointerException on ESS/MSS Team Calendar
Hi,
Whenever we try to access the Team Calendar or Attendance Overview in ESS or MSS, we get the error below.
IGS has been configured, and appears to be working fine from the HTTP administration. I have also tried pointing the portal to an IGS that I know works for Team Calendar, and still get the same error.

Where as i got bit different issue with Team Calender like " Graphics Rendering Problem ", i was un able to see the Team Calendar. To resolve this issue have gone through the note : 704604. And finally we got it working. Try to go with this note.

And no, there's no way to pass a reference to the BallA variable, so the method would initialize it and it wouldn't be null anymore.
When you call the method with your BallA variable, the value of the variable is examined and it's passed to the method. So you can't pass the name of a variable where you'd want to store some object you created in the method.
But you don't need to either, so there's no harm done. -

} Please tel me where is my mistake or maybe you knew another way to open JInternalFrame with public method form another classSome possibly helpful suggestions:
1) Create one JDesktopPane, and do it in the constructor of GUI. You should call this constructor only once.
2) Get rid of GUII. The GUI constructor will do all this and more.
3) Get rid of startFrame and startFrame2.
4) In GUI2, change your width and height to static variables if you are going to use them in outside classes. There is no reason to have to create a GUI2 object just to get those values. Get them from the class, not the instances.
5) You're doing something funky in your Top class with your mixing of static code and non-static code. My gut tells me that Top is just a static universe that exists to get your code up and running, and that the code within it should all be static, but that's just my personal opinion.
6) In MyInternalFrame, get the height and width from GUI2 (if that's what you want to do) again in a static fashion. Rather than new GUI2().width which makes no sense, use GUI2.width.
Why can't you put the button inside of the JInternalFrame object? I believe that the contentPane of this object which may hold your button (unless you embed a jpanel) uses BorderLayout, so you have to take care how you add jcomponents to the jinternalframe (or more precisely, it's contentPane). -

I'm trying to run a simple OpenScript script in Eclipse that creates a record (a Supplier in this case) in Oracle E-Business Suite. So I copied the the script file from OpenScript and created it as a Class in Eclipse. Then I created a main class to call the methods within the script class but no matter what method I call (initialize, run or finalize) I'm getting the java.lang.NullPointerException message. The error doesn't seem to be related with any specific line in the script but with the way that I'm calling it.
Should I call the OpenScript class from my main class in a different way? (see my examples below)
BTW, all external .jar files coming with OATS have been added to my project in Eclipse.
