Multi subforms on 1 page - make 1 subform hidden

Good Day
I would be a wee bit new at this so it might sound like a silly question.
I have designed a form that is approx 3 pages in length when all subforms are visable. When I tried to hide 1 subform on a page (using a check box) the whole page (3 subforms) became hidden. Is there a way to only hide or make visable 1 subform if there are multi subforms on a single page?

The code I am using on the Checkbox is as follows
if (CheckBox1.rawValue == true)
Subform2.presence = "visible";
else
Subform2.presence = "hidden";
There are a 4 checkboxes that depending if they are selected will make visable the corresponding subform.

Accessing multi-section templates in Pages 5... how?

We have some templates created in Pages 4.3 that have multiple sections defined. (A cover page, various internal Body page styles, and an end page). We constructed our documents in 4.3 using selections from the various sections in the templates (e.g. get a cover with CC text on it, a two column body and a CC end-page, or a cover with commercial copyright, single column body text blank back page etc.).
I can create a new document from the 4.3 template in Pages 5, but I can't work out how to access these various internal sections. Anyone know?

This is a serious blow for us - we similarly use multi-purpose templates in Pages 09 (e.g. just one for all the variations of invoice we generate). Initial reports in these fora and elsewhere suggest that there are several other key features that didn't make it through to the latest version of Pages - unclear whether these make the application unusable in our production environment or not.
What is most frustrating is that the new Pages finally has proper RTL support (which we've been wanting for ages)... aaagh!
But at least we were just about to create a new set of templates, so maybe we use this as 'final nail in coffin' and invest this time in another app - I guess NeoOffice is the most likely candidate, as MS Office (on OSX) still does not support RTL in any sensible fashion.

In Pages 4.3 you could define and name various multi-page sections that lived 'within' a document template, and then pick from these to build up a document.
You could control these internal sections within the template using the "Manage Pages..." command (having first moved arbitrary sets of pages to the template area using the "Capture pages..." command.
I can't find any equivalent to either of these commands in Pages 5 - am I missing something? Or is Pages 5 currently short of this feature?

I need to download page maker 7.0

I need to download page maker 7.0. I was told to go to https://www.adobe.com/support/products/pagemaker.html but it is not the. I have gone to your ftp site and downloaded pm07eng.exe but it will not execute. We are trying to uninstall Page Maker 7 on one PC and reinstall it on another PC. I have registration number but no media. Please help!!

I've developed a site using "web Page Make" I put a graphic on a page with a mouse over that morphs the graphic and plays a brief wave. I works with I.E but no go in FF 3.63.I am previewing this off a local networked drive. No problems with other net site with embedded audio do I need a certain add on etc. Can anyone offer some advice. Thanks

I am a professional translator. I translate books from English to telugu.The DTP professional typed my translation work in page maker using Anu fonts (Priyanka & priyanka bold). it has to be converted into PDF format. But the DTP fellow can not do it.

u can export the internal table to memory id.
Submit a zreport in background mode.
IN the zreport import the itab and display the itab.
It creates a spool.
Get the spool number and use the FM:
CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF.

How to use dynamic action to fill multi item on a page ?

Hi..
I want to fill multi items on a page so I build a dynamic action ( Execute PL/SQL Code ) to do it .The problem is that when the page loads I can't see any data and I tried to see the session values using debug and I found data. Moreover when I save the row I got these data saved.
So what is the magic there?

Firstly, to get the multi-select populated with "pre-selected" values the easiest approach is to use Computation or Process at a process point On Load Before Header or After Header or Before Regions.
All you need to do is populate your "Select List " page Item with : (colon) separated list of selected values. E.g is you want A,B and C out of A,B,C,D,E selected then get A:B:C into the Page Item.
If you have used Dynamic Actions, what is your event on which the action fires? For Dynamic-Actions the page (HTML DOM) needs to be existing , so it must fire after the page has loaded.

Missing files in Adobe Page Maker 5.0

Hi,
I am refurbishing my old Dell Optiplex G1 computer with Windows 3.1 on it and I have
original floppies of Aldus Page Maker 5.0 but because they were used lastly
maybe 20 years ago few files on them are corrupted and I cannot install the
program onto computer.
Does anybody have this software and could help me to restore the files? I am not
sure but maybe Adobe Page Maker 5.0 has the same files and they are exchange-
able?
In total there are about 14 files broken. I used ScanDisk and chkdsk but it could
not repair the files.

Export of .VOX format files was not implemented for CS 5.5. While I'm not yet at liberty to discuss the specific of features for CS 6, expanded export formats support was one of our goals.

I have a menu item. with some subpages. Its placed in a master page, that the other pages are based on.. I try to scale it down, and the application shows the error box, and exits. (after i click ok, i believe it was)

Problem with hidden tabs working in CS5 from a converted page maker file

I have run into some glitches with InDesign CS5 trying to convert my clients Page Maker file. I can open up the file but one of the most confusing issues is that it is not converting Page Maker’s tabs into an editable tab in InDesign. When I change the missing font to the font I am using for the layout design it creates these strange tabs. If I try to backspace to get rid of the tabs it will delete words on the previous line. When I reveal the hidden characters, no tab marks appear. I believe this might be because InDesign does not recognize the script Page Maker used to create it’s tabs? Does anyone have any recommendations for me?

Those aren't tabs, they're a left indent on the paragraph coupled with a negative first line indent.

Page Maker 6.0 and Acrobat 6,0 Pro

When I´m going to create a pdf file, in Acrobat 6,0 Pro, from Page Maker 6.0, the images moves from its place in to the text. Do You know why?

Sorry, but that's the best I can do. PM 6.0 is about 10 years old and
Acrobat 6 is three versions out of date.
You're in very unsupported territory using stuff that old because even
those of use who used to be experts are going to have a hard time

The link in your example - https://www.gmx.com/ - is loading non- secure content from http://themes.googleusercontent.com/
The lock will display only if everything on the page is secure - in this case it's not.
As Safari has no way of knowing if theme.googleusercontent.com is going to be transmitting or receiving content that should be encrypted, then the overall page is in no way secure, and as such Safari won't display the lock icon.
This is correct behaviour - it would be dangerous to users to identify pages as secure when they're clearly not.
Reloading the page above uses cached copies of the fonts, thus no insecure connection is required on the reload. The issue in the link above (GMX) is not a Safari issue, just really bad web development by whomever built the site and mixed secure and insecure content.

there will not be any master or header region. Only a multi-record detail region for creating records.

There is no such "multi-record detail region" , you can illustrate Master detail in OAF by creating the region in following order .
1 ) Page Layout region
2 ) Any header region(eg - message component layout etc ) - for entering and saving header level records .
3 ) Advance table - for entering and saving the line level records ( with add another row feature ) .

Converting Page Maker to inDesign- italics disappeared

I received Page Maker files from a client and when I opened them in inDesign all of the italics disappeared. I have the fonts installed that were used to make the Page Maker file and the other fonts converted okay. Any ideas on how to keep the italics? I don't have Page Maker installed and I've never used it so I'm hoping I don't have to download a trial and try and save them from Page Maker.

I'm sure some have gotten it to work but about the only posts that we
ever see on the PM forum are about how to get it to work on Win 7 so I
really don't recommend it.
As for Mac, there is no way to install PM on anything that won't run
rosetta. So you can forget 10.7.
