Multibyte characeters in method name. Is it allowed ?

Hi All,
is it a valid syntax to have multibyte characeter in java method name ?
public void abXXX() {
}Where XXX is a multibyte character.
Thanks in advance
D M

Sure, but you have to do it correctly: either enter those characters as unicode escape sequences:
int \u03c0= 3;or type your multibyte character(s) directly:
int = 3;kind regards,
Jos
ps. that last thingy is supposed to read as 'pi'; it did work in the preview ...

  • Was there a change in method names for ABAP Proxies ???

    Hi all,
    i am wondering if there was a change in the method names when using ABAP proxies.
    In my projects there were always the methods execute_synchronous and execute_asynchronous when generating proxies.
    In a current project i created some ABAP proxies and the method names are not the same any longer. Now the method takes the name of the Message interface. I observed this in Backendsystems NW2004s (Basis 7.0) with SP14 and 15. It seems that it has changed since the sproxy was integrated in SE80.
    Can anybody tell me, how i can use the "old" method names again when generating proxies ?
    Best regards,
    martin

    Actually i guess they did in more SOA way. If u see it says connecting to ESR rather than integration repository.
    Yes. In order to allow several operations for a message interface, the methods of the ABAP proxies get the operation name as method instead of a constant (the Java proxies alwas had this behaviour).
    could u pl highlight what other operations are allowed on message interface rather than sending a message to the XI either in synchronous or asynchronous manner?

  • Channel URL to contain object and method name

    Hi,
    There are many WEB features and filters that are based on the URL path or paramters.
    BlazedDS uses the same URL to send all the remote object calls.
    I can add more and more channels and map each remote object to one of the channels but it doesn't scale and even with it all the methods on the same object will look the same.
    I know that the binary body contains the service name and method name , but this is not enough .
    I need to have the  URL path/ parameters to contain the service and method names.
    Is there any way to control the URL in the remote method beside of the set channel?
    Shlomo.

    OK,
    I think I found the way.
    The API of the RemoteObject presents the endPoint property:
    '"This property allows the developer to quickly specify an endpoint for a RemoteObject destination without referring to a services configuration file at compile time or programmatically creating a ChannelSet. It also overrides an existing ChannelSet if one has been set for the RemoteObject service."
    It means that before every call to a method I can set the end point to something like "http://.../messagebroker/amf?serice=MyService&method=MyMethod...

  • SSDT vs 2013 and Clr function, call a Clr method name dynamically using SQLCMD variables

    Hello,
    My question is this, hopefully this makes sense:
    How could I got about doing this, inside a SQL function, I would like to re-name the Clr method call based on a SQLCMD variable?
    I have a Clr project to encrypt/decrypt data, there are different method names depending on the deployment types.
    For the definition of a function called dbo.EncryptThis, I would like to use a SQLCMD variable to change the name depending on SQLCMD variables. This works fine in SQL Server Mgmt studio, but VS 2013 fails to recognize the SQLCMD variable and the build fails
    with: "Error
    1
    SQL71521: A method with a matching signature was not found in the loaded assembly.".
    THis code works fine in SQL Server Mgmt Studio, but fails to build in the SSDT project.
    In the SSDT project I have the SQLCMD variable defined and think I have SQLCMD mode enabled, by doing this:
    Right click file > Execution Settings > SQLCMD mode
    CREATE FUNCTION [dbo].[EncryptData]
    (@str NVARCHAR (MAX))
    RETURNS NVARCHAR (MAX)
    AS
    EXTERNAL NAME [CryptoClrAssembly].[LibName].[EncryptData$(MethodName)]
    Is this even possible in SSDT? or would I have to do this in a post-deploy script?

    Hi Kevin,
    Thanks for the info.
    Bummer, so the only other solution I have is to create a post-deploy script to change the function based on a SQLCMD variable or other logic?
    What would be really cool, would be if during the build process the SQLCMD variables would get replaced with the default value to the SQLCMD variable, thus would allow to build the project. Also, during deployment, if someone entered an incorrect method
    from the assembly it would just fail.

  • Payment method(s) are not allowed for this program / Program RFFOAVIS_FPAYM

    Dear Friends,
    In Se38  abap editor, I entered the program RFFOM100, i entered the details program run date,identification future,paying company code,payment methods T, House bank, Account Id and executed the program. I am getting the error 'Payment method(s) are not allowed for this program'.
    Payment method S is not used in F110, It was not mentioned in vendor master or vendor invoice.It is not mentioned in fbzp in bank determination. When i tried to delete payment method 'S' the system shows a message Payment Method S is being used in the company code.
    In  the program RFFOAVIS_FPAYM, i entered the details program run date,identification future,paying company code,payment methods T, House bank, Account Id and executed the program. I am getting the error  'Program RFFOAVIS_FPAYM: No records selected'. But there open items or invoices.
    Please suggest how to resolve the errors.
    Regards
    Sridhar

    Hello,
    Why are you directly executing these programs?
    You will not expect these program to execute directly by going to SE38.
    I would have configured the relevant payment methods in the country with DME structure or classical RFFO* programs, which in turn pick up the inherent programs at the time of running F110.
    For example, if you need to generate BACS file for country GB, either you copy the GB_BACS to ZGB_BACS or use GB_BACS directly in FBZP settings.
    Make sure that you have maintained OBPM1 / OBPM2 / OBPM3 and OBPM4 settings properly.
    The system automatically gives the access to system RFFOAVIS_FPAYM. Prepare a variant against this program in F110. Relevant file gets generated to folder path mentioned in OBPM4 will get generated. The file get generated can be seen in AL11.
    Hope this is informative and solves your issue.

  • Using oc4j to generate interfaces from wsdl produced improper method names

    The method names that were produced from the opperations in my WSDL, generated an interface file with incorrect method names. The name went from "DoTest" in the wsdl to "doTest" in the Interface file.
    I double checked and all the cases are correct in the wsdl.

    Obviously one could rename the operation to that standard, but that doesn't exactly strike me as being anything other that a work around for a bug.
    WSDL provides a contract in which multiple languages have to conform to a set of interfaces, and it's not exactly good to have a tool, just a assume the contract for an interface is wrong.
    I could argue that I'm only doing Java on the front end and .Net on the client side and that they don't neccessarily follow the Java convention, nor should be constrained by it.
    I do agree with you that they probably just followed the convention when writing to code generator and just happened to pick up the convention. They just need to fix it now.

  • How to convert a String variable as class name and method name?

    i have two classes
    class Student
    public String insertStudent(String sname)

    class Teacher
    public String execute(String methodName, String className)
    {  //return statement of the method 'insertStudent' in the class 'Student'; }
    }Now, i have a class with the main method. Here, i would like to call the method *'insertStudent'* of class *'Student'*
    using the method *'execute'* of class *'Teacher',* passing the method-name and the class-name (viz. insertStudent, Student) as the
    String parameter.
    Can anyone please help me out. Thanks

    chinglai

    You should have just added that as a comment on your [initial posting|http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5334953] instead of starting a new thread.

    Why oh why? What do you want to achieve?
    Let me tell you: there is a way to do what you try to do, but it's not recommended and should be used only very sparingly. Especially not in anything like your code, that resembles normal business logic (as opposed to an application framework such as Spring, for example).
    Can you explain what exactly you want to do with that? Why should a Teacher be able to call any random method ony any other class. And what good would that do?

  • F0282 payment method(s) are not allowed to this program*

    Hi.......... every one
    after running app i select systems in menu bar>out put control>press enter and clicked on execute button,then i selected the log and click on the display contents button but the system is giving the error message that
    f0282 payment method(s) are not allowed to this program

    HI,
    The error message F0282 that you are receiving, is not an error but the
    normal system functionality. This would be due to your customising so
    please check the detailed error description provided in detail in this
    reference.
    For example, the detailed error description would be as below
    =====================================================================
       Message no. F0 282
       Diagnosis
       In order to avoid incorrect payment media being able to be created
       with a program specified incorrectly, exactly one program is assigned
       to each payment method.
       System Response
       The list of payment methods(T) may only be processed by other payment
       medium programs. Therefore these payment methods are not processed by
       program RFFOM100.
       Procedure
       Check the payment medium programs allowed in the country IN payment
       method specifications.
    =====================================================================
    In customizing trans. FBZP, you have select the report that you are
    going to use for the payment method. Therefore, for example if you are
    using the RFFOUS_T in customising and afterwards try to use RFFOM100
    separately, you will get this message so you will have to change your
    customizing accordingly..
    xSo please check your customising in FBZP under Payment Method/country
    settings.Hope this info helps you to resolve this issue.

  • Reg msg "Payment method(s) are not allowed for this program".

    Hi...
    I am copying a standard program RFFOES_T (Print program for bank transfer) into a custom program. When i try to execute the custom program it gives me a msg saying
    "Payment method(s) are not allowed for this program".
    Can you please Provide a solution for this problem.
    Regards,
    Indira.

    Indira,
    1.RFFOES_T is using Logical database PYF.Seems you have copied it as it is without changing the attributes of the program.
    2.As it is using logical database PYF  it needs to be tagged to the respective payment methods in FBZP settings as below
    FBZP
    >>Payment methods in Country
    >> in the next screen click on position and give the company code and payment method
    >> in the next screen select the corresponding payment method and click on the details(ctrlshiftf2) ie magnifying glass icon
    >>in the next screen  within  Payment Medium you will get to see two radio buttons as Payment medium workbench(uses DMEE tree structure)  and payment medium programs (uses the standard prog).Here in Payment medium Program either the standard prog or your zprogram should be tagged otherwise you will get the error message as you mentioned.
    3.Once you tag the program in the FBZP setting to the respective payment methods,after the payment run you will be able to run the program.
    4.If you don't want the program to be linked to FBZP settings then as far as my knowledge is concerned you need to avoid using logical database PYF and change the entire code using the regular database tables like reguh,regup,bkpf,bseg etc.(I think this should be the best approach)
    Thanks,
    K.Kiran.

    Hi,
    I've the following environment:

    Use a logging framework, and name the loggers well & use meaningful messages?
    Or create a Throwable, [fill in|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/lang/Throwable.html#fillInStackTrace()] the stack trace, get the required StackTraceElement and [get the method|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/lang/StackTraceElement.html#getMethodName()] from this.

  • TelemetryClient.TrackException Does Not Include Method Name Or Call Stack (Windows Store App)

    We are attempting to use Application Insights (v0.12.0-build17386) for our Windows Store App.  When we use TelemetryClient.TrackException, no details appear in the azure portal.  The Failed Method is "Could Not Parse" and the Call Stack
    is empty. If we click on the "..." it gives more details but still no method name or call stack information to help us determine where the exception was thrown.  Is this by design, not implemented, or did we miss something obvious?  The
    code is very simple:
    public static void LogException(Exception exception)
    TelemetryClient telemetryClient = new TelemetryClient();
    telemetryClient.TrackException(exception);

    This is a known limitation of this version. It is in the backlog to fix. Note though that 0.13 is out already and fix should be included in the next version (0.14)
