Multiple email accounts with invites on same iCloud account

Were a small company all with emails under the company name: [email protected], but all have our iCloud calendars under our own personal email addresses. The issue is getting company meetings/events synced with our iCloud accounts to be able to see them on all devices.
Just to be clear: I have [email protected] and [email protected] (icloud email address). I need [email protected] iCal invites to sync with [email protected] (icloud account).
Has anyone had the same issue with any type of conclusion?
Thanks

Frankly, sharing an iPad like that would be a disaster in my humble opinion.
Not only calendars, notes, reminders would be co-mingled, but so would bookmarks, iMessages, ...
I strongly recommend against sharing an iPad.

  • How do I pull backup files (pictures) from another device to my new device, and merge multiple backups that are on the same iCloud account?  I have an iphone4 and iphone5 backup.  I want to pull photos from both into my new iPhone5

Have multiple iPhone backups across 2 iPhones and 3 iPads.  I need to pull backup files and pictures off of backed up devices that are not my current in-use device.   How do I do that?  They are all under one apple ID.

If you still have the devices, import them to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), then sync them to your current device.  If they are only stored in backups, the only way to access them is to restore the device to the entire backup.  Note: you can only restore photos in an iPhone backup to another iPhone, and from an iPad backup to another iPad.  If the backups are on your computer, you may be able to extract the photos from the backup using 3rd party software such as iPhone Backup Extractor.

I have 2 ipads and my iphone on the same icloud account and it wont let me back it up cause I dont have enough space. So I want to move my iphone over to a new icloud account with my new apple id that i made but i dont want to delete the ipads off the old account just move the iphone to the new one. How do I do that I despreatly need help!!!

To migrate your phone to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep on the phone, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; your other devices won't be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7) and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted .  Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account.

  • Sorry the answer to my previous question did not help....when trying to get app message tells me I do not have acc or its been disabled. Is this because of joint usage of email as my partner has account with iTunes using same email?

Whatever the reasons are that you think the problem exists, you will not be able to resolve it on your own. Did you see this at the bottom of the support article that I suggested that you read?
    Additional Information
If the issue persists, you can visit iCloud Support, iTunes Support, Apple Print Products, or contact AppleCare for further assistance.
You should probably contact iTunes Support.

  • Is it possible for someone to register with the same icloud account?

I have my dot Mac and dot me, and also icloud account for many years now. But just before 2013 ended, there was a notification from Facebook to my dot Mac mailbox to finish the registration process. That Facebook account was registered by a person in Germany using my icloud account.
I thought the person may have mistyped his/her email address for Facebook. I then followed the Facebook link from the email, went ahead with registration process, then changed passwords for that Facebook account and also for my icloud account. Then there were two more rounds of Facebook emails trying to ask me to confirm that I'm the original owner of the account.
I am not sure if this is an honest mistake made by a person with another icloud user. Or it was a mistake by Mac, given two persons the same email!! Or am I being hacked, since I also pay for annual icloud data storage.
Has anyone ever experienced similar problem?

Welcome to the Apple Community Athim.
Someone may have been trying to use your address either inadvertently or maliciously, it's also possible that Facebook is sending mail to a wrong address! but there can't be two Apple ID's with the same address.

You got it with that same apple id thing. You can use different apple id's, but then they will not sync. Apple does allow as many free apple id's as you want, but they are in the business to make money.

I sent an email from my iPhone 3GS (via iCloud account) with around 16GB of attachment. It slowed down the phone for a few seconds, then appeared to be sent. However, the message is now not in the sent box, and I can't see an outbox at all. Any ideas?

That changes things a little bit , login to icloud.com and see if you can find it in your sent folder.
If it is there you did send, just need to wait until you phone syncs "sent folder" perhaps on wifi.
If it is not, then I would say it is lost and you may have to send again. They have 20 megs limit, so make sure that message plus attachment is under that limit.

    Hello!
On all of these devices, go to: Settings > iCloud and make sure they're updated with the new password. If you're talking about Macs, go to: "System Preferences > iCloud" too.

All that does is delete the iCloud account on your phone, nothing more.

  • HT4436 Can I have multiple devices using the same iCloud account?

We want to use "Find my iPhone" in iCloud to keep track of all of our corporate-owned devices so we use the same iCloud account on all devices.  If we enable iCloud backup, will that cause problems?  Will the latest backup be the one that gets picked up if we need to do an iCloud restore?

Go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then if you're using iOS 7 enter the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted.  This only deletes the account from the device, not from iCloud.  The other device won't be effected by this.  Also, when you delete the account you will be prompted about whether or not to keep a copy of the iCloud data on the device or delete it.  Finally, if you want to keep any of the photo stream photos on the device, save them to the camera roll before deleting the account.

  • HT4865 So who believes Apple should be a bit more cautionary about the sharing of iMessages and other content when several members of a family share the same iCloud account and unknowing can audit each other's iMessages, Contacts, and god only knows what

I think Apple should be a bit more cautionary about iCloud and privacy.  My family shares the same iCloud account as we all enjoy the music we collectively purchase on iTunes; we paid Apple for this feature with some kind of grouped account.  We didn't know, however that this joins our devices so that iMessages, contacts, pictures and just about everything else is shared too.  The unprivate default seems to be to share everything between all devices vs. to allow access by exception or by choice (or by password?).  Sure, when my kids get all my texts I can go figure out why and fix it but that is in my mind the antithesis of privacy and could be quite embarrassing for any family.  I guess it is good for stalking the kids or parents though if they don't know about the partyline approach to privacy.  Maybe a tech solution would be to have the iPhone show somehow the extent of its audience to its user.

No argument from me about the vagaries of using and sharing Apple IDs.  This can lead to unintended consequences, especially in a family situation.
If you're sharing the same ID for FaceTime, you might want to go to Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign in with separate IDs there too.  Otherwise, you'll end up getting each other's FaceTime calls.
Also, if you need to migrate everyone's devices to separate iCloud accounts to keep your synced data separated, you can do this by saving any photo stream photos you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  If you are syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone.  Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.  Once everyone's devices are on separate accounts, you can go to icloud.com and delete each other's data from your accounts.
