Multiple head tags on instance pages
Hi there,
I have a problem whereby pages created from a template are
producing multiple head tags, 3 pairs in fact.
I have used the Check Template Syntax and it is OK.
If I remove the doctype it does not create these duplicate
head areas.
Here is my doctype in the dwt:

I have searched the forums and the web in general but have
found no help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No. But I have recommended consistently that Nested templates
are too
complex for casual use. Frankly, I have not found a good
scenario that
would compel me to use them at all. I don't encourage that
you use them
either - why are you?

Why would you do this? All you need there is the doctitle and
the head
region.

I have multiple ID Tags on My Page, How To Correct And Change To CLASS ID's
Hello Dreamweaver Word:
I still have problems.
On my website wwww.theexecutivevip.com
My MENU BAR has moved down to the bottom of the page.
On the various product pages [problem is seen in Internet Explorer Browser]
I have multiple "main content" ID tags and the other ID tags that are within them.
When I made the page, I did not make multiple ID tags, but instead I made the page into a template
that had "Repeatable Regions" and as I repeated these regions within a page, the ID's were repeated as well.
So now I have multiple ID's going down my page. How do I correct them and replace them with CLASS ID's.
I of course need to do this change on the template so it can CORRECTLY update all the pages that I built off of it.
Will I need to change each product page manually, since they are all "editable regions" or can I just change the template. The "main content" is not an editable region, but all the product/image ID's are.
Please advise on how I can correct the multiple ID tags to the proper tag types without ruining my work. I tried and it made a mess so I just didn't save it.
In advance THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP FOLKS! I hope to be in your position soon where I can help the folks new to Dreamweaver. I just got a book on code/html so I can learn this world of information that you guys seem to know so well.

Everything looks GREAT in Firefox, except the only product page that is all jambled is www.theexecutivevip.com/winebarsets.html.
I don't know where all those spaces come from. I'll copy the code below.
In Internet Explorer, my submenu doesn't work on the pages. It is also still going down the page on Internet Explorer.
Please advise.

Access to the head tag in a portal generated page
We have a situation where we need to put some javascript in the <head> tag of a page so that it can be accessed by a javascript portlet. Any ideas?
-RobThis capability is not there in 3.0.6 and 3.0.7. In 3.0.8 (due out end of this month), we have added a template capability which allows you to assign an html template to a page. The template could contain the javascript.
In the interim, others have created an html portlet that contains the javascript, placed it on the page and turned it off by default. This works, but any user with customization rights to the page could remove it, so the title should read something like 'Do Not Remove!' -
Can I prevent the #HEAD# tag from loading jQuery in APEX 4?
I am using APEX to generate a report that is specifically designed to be viewed on a BlackBerry phone.
When accessing the APEX 3.2 version of the application from a BlackBerry phone it works fine.
When accessing the APEX 4.0 version (exported from 3.2 and imported to 4.0) the BlackBerry browser reports the following error:
HTTP Error 413: Request Entity Too Large
The page you requested could not be loaded. Please try loading a different page.
I have tracked this down to the use of jQuery-UI by APEX 4.0.
I can reproduce the error in APEX 3.2 by loading the jquery-ui.min.js file in the Page Template.
So, is there any way of preventing APEX 4.0 from loading jQuery or jQuery-UI by default in the #HEAD# tag of the page template?

Problem applying Spry tool tips to child pages because the head tag is in a locked region
I’m new to DW and migrating a site from GoLive CS2 to DW CS5. The site uses templates created in GL CS2. I have stripped out as much GL stuff as possible.
I want to use the SPRY tooltips as a way to show captions for graphics that are on some of the pages (I used to use an Open New Browser window for that but I don’t have as much control in DW as I did in GL). But when I try to apply SPRY tooltips (or any SPRY widget for that matter) I get the following message:
“Required links could not be added to this file because the <head> tag is in a locked region. To insert this content, open the template file ‘xyz.dwt’ and either unlock the <head> tag or add this content to the template.”
I am not sure how to go about solving this problem. In the template there is an editable region for adding graphics but in the template itself there are no graphics or anything else to apply a tooltip too. Also in the child pages there may be more than one place to use a tooltip. So that suggests to me that I should not add a tooltip to the template. That brings me to the other option.
How would I go about unlocking the <head> tag in the template, without messing everything up?
Or, should I detach any page from the template when I want to add tooltips then reapply the template? I am planning to ditch the GL template anyway and apply a DW template to all the pages anyway.
Any suggestions as to what I should do?

PS I’m using Mac with Snow Leopard.I found a solution.
I just made a transparent PNG. Put it in an inconspicuous part of the template. On the child page I could make as many copies as I needed making sure I provided id tags for each use etc. -
Multiple tag fields in page properties dialog
Is there a way to have multiple tag fields in the page properties dialog and have them work with the default TagManager API? From what I've tried so far it looks like anything that is not in the root jcr:content node of a page or asset doesn't apply the cq:Taggable mixin to it. We are trying to spread out our structure of tags across fields so that authors don't have to navigate through multiple heirarchies. We are worries about that list becoming unwieldly to manage.
I'm not against doing some customiziation but it looks like the TagManager will only utilize fields named cq:tags in its query.Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to add multiple editable fields in the page in SharePoint online 2013.
Here is a solution for your reference:
1. We can create a Custom List and add some fields in it.
2. Create a Datasheet View in this List.
3. Add this Custom List(as an app part) into the page you want.
4. Edit this App Part and set its view as Datasheet View.
If I misunderstand what you mean, please provide more details on your requirement(picture would be better).

Orphan table header at bottom of page when page breaks a table across multiple pages

I think similar questions have been asked before but I have not found an answer.
Here's the scenario:
I have several dynamic tables in a dynamic form. The layout is flowed, and everything can grow and shrink as needed. That all works.
However, my tables have headers. Occasionally when one of these tables is large and needs to break across multiple pages, there will be just enough room at the bottom of the previous page to show the next table header, but not enough space to show any of the related table rows. So it ends up looking silly, with just an orphaned header at the bottom of one page, and then the table continues on the next.
I have my tables set up so that headers get repeated on subsequent pages, by setting the header row to "repeat row for each data item" on the binding tab. I would like to keep that functionality, but I just want to find a way to avoid these "orphaned" table headers that sometimes appear.
I have tried the "keep with next" option. However, although this does push the rendering of the header to the next page, it seems that according to livecycle the table still officially began on the previous page. Therefore I get a duplicate header because of the "repeat row for each data item" option.
I have also tried having two header rows, one that is set to only be displayed on the initial page, and the other that is set to appear only on subsequent pages (pagination tab). This did not work - I ended up with duplicate table headers.
Can anyone help me?

You should have "include header row in initial page" and "include header row in subsequent pages" selected on the Pagination tab.
Then using a "keep with next" might work ok. -

OIM 11g R2 PS1 error in App instances page due to multiple prcoess forms for a single RO
By mistake I attached two process definitions to a single resource object (RO) and it in turn mapped two process forms to the single resource object.
Now when I go to application instances page and do a searc, it shows the below error in the UI
IAM-4067027 : An error occurred in findAppInstances and the cause of error is An error occurred in getParentFormInfo and the cause of error is Multiple process forms exist for Test_Emp_RO..
I tried to assign a different RO and Form to the second process def in teh design console, but it throws SDK update failure error. How to resolve this error? Any inputs are appreciated.Check the for duplicacy in OBJ_KEY column of the process defination. If duplicate values exit then set them to 'null' and commit. Restart OIM if required

I experienced the dreaded " ... locked by ... " error message when trying to insert keywords in a page generated by a dwt file. I went to the forum and found this information:

So I enclosed the head in the cut, pasted and edited editable region markup and it seems to work. Then I used the insert html>head tags>keywords to insert some keywords and that worked, but it put the keywords at the very top of the page. As I recall, the meta info is supposed to be inside the head section, so I cut and pasted the keyword markup into the head section, I had isolated with the editible markup and it seems to work.
Not being the sharpest knife in the drawer on these matters, did I do this right? Have I set a trap for myself which will spring later on? Is there a better way? I only know to ask those who know more than I.

The other thing that was running through my head was
that it would actually be nicer to put the Airport
base station in my office (reduce the clutter of
stuff in the living room), but since the old mac
doesn't have a wireless card (and I don't even know
if I can get one anymore), is there some kind of USB
adapter that would work to access the signal? I've
seen a bunch of them, but most of the reviews say
they're not very mac-friendly.
You probably won't find a mac USB adapter becuase there usually aren't mac drivers. You could bring the old computer to the Apple Store and they can install a wireless card in there.

I am creating a large report where the header section spans 2 pages. Currently, reports prints just the first page in the header section. How can I get the other page to print? I tried the vertical panels per page property, but that doesn't seem to work.

Repeating Multiple header rows of table in subsequent pages
Hi Gurus,,
I'm struck in a typical problem.
I have a Table with 2 header rows in a flowed subform.
when content flows to the next page, the table displays either the Ist header row or the second Header row depending on the checkbox selected for the individual header row.
The problem is how to get both the rows in the next page.
When I try to select both the header rows for display in initial as well as subsequent pages either of the one only remains on activation of the form.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

In the Hierarchy View of the Palettes, goto the Table you created, Right click on one of the Header Rows in the Hierarchy View, there you select Group as Section. Now a section will be created, in this you drag another Header Row also(in Hierarchy View only).
Now goto Object Palette of Subform(where the Table is present in the subform), for this you make Content as "Flowed", Flow Direction as "Top to Bottom", and select "Allow Page Breaks within content". For this Subform goto Binding Tab and there select "Repeat Subform for each Data item, select "min count" and enter 1 and dont select "max count" and "initial Count".
Now goto object Palette of Table in that select "Allow Page Breaks within content". now goto Binding in that select "Repeat Subform for each Data item, and dont select "min count", "max count" and "initial Count".
Now goto the object palette of the newly created Section inside a table. for this goto Pagination there select "Include Header Row in Initial Page" and also "Include Header Row in Sunsequent Pages". Now goto Binding Tab and there select "Repeat Subform for each Data item, select "min count" and enter 1 and dont select "max count" and "initial Count".
Now goto object Palette of Table Row in that select "Allow Page Breaks within content". now goto Binding in that select "Repeat Subform for each Data item, select "min count" and enter 1 and dont select "max count" and "initial Count".

Do paging with header on a JSP page

We have a data report displayed as a JSP page. The report displays 200 rows of data. We need to print these 200 rows report with a header/title on each page. And our user only wants to hit he Browser print button once. This would have been easy if we don't have to insert the header on each print page. But how can we print this multiple page report with a header? Do we need to use CSS? any help will be appreciated.

Step 1: determine how many rows in a table with a header will print on a single page
Step 2: Create a jsp that breaks your data down into tables of the row size determined above.
For example if the data consists of 1000 rows and 50 rows w/ headers will fit on a page
then the jsp will create 20 tables of 50 rows w/ headers each.
Step 3: Use CSS to put page breaks between the tables.

The only part of this that I have not used in a production web app iss the CSS page break part. The rest of it I know will work.
