Multiple idocs in Single Job behaves differently (RBDAPP01)

Hi,
How to debug the background Job for Program RBDAPP01 which already posted the Idocs in 53 status from 64.
I wanted to analyze why multiple idocs in same job behave differently than the single idoc in a job. In case of multiple idocs in a single job i put packet size 1, but no help.
Thanks,
Asit Purbey.

I found the solution, so closing this Post.

  • Multiple IDocs-XI-Single File Scenario

    Hi All,
       We need to send multiple IDocs from R/3 to XI and then to a single file using File Adapter. Please help us with your suggestions on how to proceed using a simple solution.
    Regards,
    Peter

    I made a program that solved the issue of collecting the IDOC in to one file.
    1.  The partent profile should be setup for collect idocs
    2.  Make a report that will select and dispatch the idocs
    seudo code:
    select tables with select criteria:
    edidc (idoc control)
    edid4 (idoc data)
    one yo have made you selection into internal tables
    it_final_edidc
    it_final_edid4
    *you can apply rules and data tranformations, eg. PEXR2002 batch per payment type.
    CALL FUNCTION 'EDI_OUTPUT_NEW'
               EXPORTING
                    onl_option  = 'B'
                ERROR_FLAG  = ' '
                NAST_RECORD =
               TABLES
                    i_edidc     = it_final_edidc
                    i_edidd     = it_final_edid4
               EXCEPTIONS
                    OTHERS      = 1.
      " EDI mesages dispatched
      IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
        COMMIT WORK.
        CALL FUNCTION 'DEQUEUE_ALL'
           EXPORTING
                _SYNCHRON = ' '
             EXCEPTIONS
                  OTHERS    = 1.
    That work like a charm when writting the IDOC to a single file.
    But when I send the IDOCS to XI like XML-IDOC I still receive one transaction per IDOC.
    if anyone know how to solve that, let me know.

  • Help on - Multiple IDOC to single flatfile (without BPM)

    I got a business need, that the ORDERS05 IDOC's should be collected on hourly basis and single flatfile should be generated for each and every hour. This scenario can be easily handled through BPM but I need the problem to be solved without BPM.
    Please help me to overcome this.

  • Multiple idocs from single flat file

    Hi All
    I want to send data from a flat file to SAP(file to idoc)
    My flat file structure is
    id,name,number,city
    2,R1,234,SD
    2,R2,457,MD
    3,R4,789,HG
    3,R6,235.HG
    The Field 'id' will change..after  every change in 'id' ,seperate idoc should be created.
    I have checked the following thread.
    Re: Content conversion for seperate idoc
    In the above thread ,it is asked to map v.no with remove context and use SPLIT BY VALUE on value change then do the mapping accordingly ,you can create 3 idocs for the same.
    I'm confused about how to do these mappings.
    Please explain the mapping in detail.
    Please help
    Regards
    Reema

    if  your source data type is like
    MT_Source
        Record           0-unbounded
           id                    ----1
           name              -----1
           number           -----1
           city               -------1
    then in the sender file communication channel you have to specify  file content conversion parameters as
    Parameter name               parametervalue
    Document Name                 MT_Source
    Recordset Structure           Record,*
    choose + to add more parameters
    Name                                  Value
    Record.fieldSeparator                      ,
    Record.fieldNames                        id,name,number,city
    Record.endSeparator                      'nl'
    then do the maping
    as
    id ---->removeContext---->SplitByValue(Value change)---->Target Idoc
    map according to your requirement for other fields

  • File-XI-multiple IDoc Scenario

    Hi there -
       I am working on single File-XI-multiple IDoc Scenario and have following questions:
    (please keep in mind that there is already an existing multiple IDocs-XI-single File scenario between the same systems)
    1. Please provide any detailed step by step documentation from end-to-end.
    2. I am thinking it's compulsory to use BPM, is there any way to aviod?
    3. Is it possible to update existing IDocs in R/3 directly from the data from XI?
    Thanks everyone in advance...

  • Multiple IDOCs pattern not working

    Hello, When I tried Multiple IDOC to single file pattern, it is not working as expected. Everytime when a idoc reaches XI, it is going to a seperate BPM queue and not collecting the IDOCs, any idea??

    Yes, I have refered. I have done exaclty the same thing as in SAP Pattern for collecting multiple idocs to single file. Everything is working fine in BPM too.  But the problem is whenever the idoc hits XI, it is going to a seperate BPM queue instead of a same queue. So single message for each BPM and BPM waits for 3 minutes (mentioned in BPM) and times out. But my need is all the IDOCs should come to a single BPM queue and BPM needs to collect all the IDOCs and send it as a single file.

  • Multiple Idocs (DEBMAS06) into one single file

    Hi All,
    Multiple Idocs(DEBMAS06) are sent from SAP in bulk to be sent to FTP server via XI...(Cannot use Append the file as The structure is with Header,Detail(all the idoc details) and Trailer)
    I have seen different threads which speaks about the same,
    But Please suggest me the best approach to proceed with this kind of scenario...
    Multiple IDocs -> XI -> Flat file which is speaking about BPM and also Packaging(SAP note 814393)
    and https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/30ea2fdf-f047-2a10-d3a2-955a634bde6b
    (How Tou2026 Send Multiple IDocs Within One XI Message)
    I prefer not to use BPM... but if required then....
    Please suggest me which is the best approach to proceed with it..
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sridhar Reddy

    Hi ,
    I had tried the scenario Multiple IDOC's coming from R/3 and send all of them into a Single File
    But it did not work...
    Of course i changed as Micahel mentioned in
    The specified item was not found.
    (Collect and make pack size to 50) but still the idocs are posting as 50 messages in XI and 50 files are being created ...
    But as per his remarks we need customization which is very difficult...
    And also i checked Michaels blog
    The specified item was not found.
    But this is dicussing reverse of my scenario...
    and finally i am thinking of going with the stefens weblog...
    Collecting IDocs without using BPM
    Can any one please suggest any other best way to handle this...
    Instead of going for BPM i am implementing as Stefen suggested ... This is because we have many such interfaces where SAP sends collective idocs....

  • Splitting multiple IDoc XML files into single IDoc messages for R/3

    Hi all. I have a problem splitting IDoc XML files coming in to XI. I currently have an interface that takes in single store sale IDoc transactions (type WPUBON01) in an IDoc XML file. I then have some complex graphical mapping on the IDoc before sending to R/3 via the IDoc adapter. This works fine. However, we now wish to include multiple sales in one file i.e. many WPUBON01 IDocs. I could use message splitting to do this BUT the mapping is so complex, I do not wish to have to change it to enable the processing of many IDocs in one file instead of just one.
    What I want to do: have one mapping splitting a multiple IDoc XML file into single IDoc messages and then another taking these single messages as before and performing the mapping. I cannot find a way to do this in one interface; the main problem I'm having is getting XI to split the multiple IDocs into many single IDoc messages within XI itself. I'd be very grateful for any advice on the best way to do this.
    Thankyou.
    Stuart Richards (Halfords, UK)

    Bhavesh,
    Thanks again for a clear explanation... I'm moving forwards but still struggling. I've been on this all afternoon today (after a break on other things) and just cannot get my message to split properly (though the SOAP adapter problem I had earlier is now fixed!). If my initial IDoc XML file contains this format:
    <WPUBON01><IDOC>....</IDOC>
                          <IDOC>....</IDOC>
                          <IDOC>....</IDOC></WPUBON01>
    .. I'm not sure what the cardinaility on the first message mapping and interface mapping should be. I'd have thought the source interface would be 1 and the target would be 0..unbounded but this isn't working. I'm trying different things but I get different errors each time. Currently, I have the above cardinality in my first interface and I'm passing in the following data:

    In the message monitor, I get a chequered flag. Great. However, I get the dreaded error 500 in the SOAP receiver comm channel:
    SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
    Exception caught by adapter framework: SOAP Error
    Delivery of the message to the application using connection AFW failed, due to: SOAP Error.
    Any ideas as to what this might be?! I'm getting there.... if I get a solution out of this, I promise to write the blog myself!

  • Multiple iDocs in a single file

    Hello,
    I'm working on some integration to send a purchase order change file into SAP from BizTalk.  Everything works when we send every change as its own iDoc, or when we send all changes for a single PO in a single file, but when we try and include multiple iDocs in a single send, we get an error that it has to many elements.  The definition below is of the idocData element which indicates it can send more than one:
    <xs:elementxmlns:q2="http://Microsoft.LobServices.Sap/2007/03/Types/Idoc/3/PORDCH03//711"minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="2147483647" name="idocData" nillable="true"type="q2:PORDCH03">
    A sample of the file:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>

         </ns1:E2PORDCH000GRP>
        </ns0:idocData>
    </ns0:Send>

    Hey Josh,
    Hope your issue is fixed by now.
    If not please check the Inbound Process code of the Order which is triggering Idoc in the SAP System.
    You have to modify that as per se your need.
    Thanks.

  • Append or combine multiple IDOCs into a single IDOC file

    Hi All,
    We are implementing multiple new payment types that will generate IDOC files for us to send to the bank.  To keep the cost to the minimum, the requirement is to combine multiple IDOCs to a single file.
    I'd like to know the most efficient way to complete this task.  Also, I am new to this forum, please let me know if I need to include additional information.
    Your help will be deeply appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Joanne T.

    Hi Milind,
    One way you can do this is generate each report in PDF or Postscript, and then use Adobe Acrobat Distiller to combine the files into one PDF document.

  • How to generate multiple idoc's from single appl document

    All,
    Iam looking for a way to generate multiple idoc's from single appl document (sales order). Based on the plant details on line items in the sales order i have to generate multiple idocs, i.e., send one idoc to each plant entered in sales order line items. any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You can create a Z-program and call Function Module  <b>MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE</b>.
    You can make a call to this FM to send the Idoc as many times as u have plants in your Sales Order.
    You can call FM <b>IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP</b> to fill the IDoc structure.
    Then u can keep the materials of only that plant for which u want to pass on the information.
    Thanks,
    Utsah Garg.

  • Read MULTIPLE idocs data with all sgmn to my internal table in a single

    Dear SAP Folks!
    I have a question, I know to read SINGLE idoc data with all segments, we have FM IDOC_READ_COMPLETELY but my requirement is to Read MULTIPLE idocs data with all segments to my internal table in a single shot without keeping this FM in loop! since it is performance issue, at a time i may want to read 1000 idocs data!
    Could anyone please let me know is there any way to get this, keeping mind of performance and any other FM?
    Best Regards,
    Srini

    Hi,
    I know idoc numbers and i can write a select Query to DB table EDID4 to get all segments data to my internal table. But i am looking for FM to do this. because i have too many number of idocs and each idoc is having many segments(I am thinking in performance point of view!) The FM IDOC_READ_COMPLETELY can accept only ONE IDOC number as import parameters at a time to get segment data. in similar way do we have any other FM? or other way? except select query to EDID4 table?
    Best Regards,

  • Collect Multiple IDOC(Single IDOC type) to single file using BPM

    Hi All,
    When i am generating multiple IDOC for the same message type, i am getting multiple payload for the same as a result i used to get multiple files generated in application server.
    Now if i use BPM only to collect multiple IDOC to a file then what all the steps that i need to follow for the same.
    Ex: I want to post 10 IDOC for a single IDOC type,, Now using BPM in XI i want to collect all the 10 IDOCs with multiple payload into one single message and then want to process this in XI to generate the file.
    It would be glad if anyone refer me a good step by step blog for the same.
    Thanks in advance,
    Jay

    Thanks a lot Abhisek.
      I have also got a blog explaining the exact thing. But in the blog the ID part was missing which is present in the link you have provided.
    I will be glad if you can through some light on the ID part,, however the IR part and the BPM part is now mostly okay to me.
    I will configure this today only,, and may seek your help for any huddle.
    Thanks a lot once again.
    Regards,
    Jay.

  • Post multiple IDOCs from a single inbound file

    Hi.
    I have an inbound file with a single record structure. Each record has a field "DocumentNumber". There may be multiple records with the same DocumentNumber. The Document Number will increment to 2, 3 etc. Each set of records with the same DocumentNumber relates to a single IDOC that I want to post.
    IE
    1, various fields   <- IDOC 1
    1, various fields   <- IDOC 1
    2, various fields   <- IDOC 2
    2, various fields   <- IDOC 2
    3, etc
    I plan to use the BPM to split (transform) the file message into multiple IDOCs, using a message mapping defined in the Designer. I have done all this, and defined my Source Message as Single Occurrence (1) and my Target Message as 1:Unbounded. I therefore have a mapping within the target "Message1" structure.
    Can anybody tell me how to define my mapping flow to create a new target structure IDOC when the DocumentNumber field increments?   I was wondering about "createif" where DocumentNumber <> a global field set tot he previous value....
    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi Tony,
    first you have to change the occurens - look in this Blog:
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/12/04/xi-idoc-bundling--the-trick-with-the-occurance-change
    Mapping - you need to use node funktions if you use graphical mapping (f.e. SplitByValue, CerateIf and so on)
    Good for that is this blog:
    /people/sravya.talanki2/blog/2005/12/08/message-mapping-simplified-150-part-ii
    If you need more - keep on asking
