Multiple Outbound Message in a single XML

Hi,
My XML output from backend application will contain multiple messages. What should the XML look like in order for B2B to process all the messages?
Should it be something like that?

Hi,
Batching is not supported for custom document. You need to enqueue your message one by one into B2B. If you want to batch them together, you will need to write a script to concat them together after the messages have been translated into native EANCOM format.

  • Including multiple XSU queries in a single XML document

    Can anyone set me on the right path to using Oracle's DOM parser to include the XML reulsts of multiple XSU queries into a single document? I can successfully return the queries with "Document doc = xquery1.getXMLDOM();" but cannot figure out how to add all of the children of these Documents to a master XMLDocument object.
    Thanks very much,

  • How can I open multiple email messages with a single click?

    On the Mac mini I use at work, I can select several email messages at a time and open them all up by double-clicking the mouse pointer on any of the selected messages. My MacBook Pro at home seems to lack that functionality, even though both are running the same version of Yosemite. In order to open up multiple messages (each, in its own window) on my MacBook Pro, I need to double-click on each individual message, even though I have multiple messages selected on my MacBook Pro, using Yosemite's Mail app. I assume there is an optional setting that can enable multiple messages to be opened by double-clicking on a single selected message, but I have looked through the Mail app's preferences and I come up empty handed. Can someone please clue me in on how to get this functionality on my MacBook Pro?

    Hi,
    There is another similar icon named Bookmarks in the '''Customize''' window which provides the said functionality. You have to add that.

  • Multiple records of table from RFC to XI in single XML file

    Hi
    My Scenario is as following -->
    <b>RFC ---> Sender RFC Adapter ---> XI -
    > Rec SOAP adapter ---> Web Service</b>
    Now we need multiple records from RFC which can be put in single XML file & XI can transport the whole XML file to Web Service. All the configuration in XI, Web Service is complete & I tested my mapping which is able to accept multiple records.
    But when ABAPer is sending the records I am not getting it in XI, I checked that in message payload from RFC.
    He put the table name in TABLE tab of RFC. But not under Import Tab, as whatever he is providing under Import parameter & exporting it through report I am getting in message payload but not the table data.
    Did anyone try such scenario, can you tell me how can we achieve this.
    Pls. provide me your mail ID in case you need an attachment of the current RFC & report code & my mapping snapshot.
    Regards
    - lalit -

    Hi
    We have created the BAPI in which we are just describing the structure of the payload & which I am importing in Integration Repository.
    And we are calling this BAPI from another program using " Call function ... " command & also provinding the data in that program.
    Actually ethically ABAPers are against the idea of provinding the data into program they would like to provide it in BAPI but that won't work, you have to provide data in program which in turn populate the fields of BAPI.
    Let me know with your mail ID in case you need snapshot of function & programs.

  • Receiver Determination for an Outbound Message to Multiple Receivers

    Hi,
    I have a scenario in which one Single Outbound Message needs to be sent to multiple receivers.
    1. I have set up the Receiver Identification correctly i.e I can see the Receiers and their end points.
    2. The problem is that when the first Message fails i.e due to Mapping error , the remaining Receivers do NOT get any messages.
    3. So does XI does a Rollback of the whole set of receivers if first one fails?
    Logically speaking the Message should go to other Receivers even if it fails for one of them.
    I see a Red flag and then a Green flag in SXMB_MONI.
    Please advice.
    Thanks so much.
    A

    Hi,
    I checked the trace log for Receiver Identification.
    It says : Evaluating Condition //VBELN EQ '999999'.
    INVALID RECEIVER : (rec name)
    If the XPATH has turned false why does it still call the same Receiver ??
    The value of VBELN is never 999999.
    Can you please advice?
    Thanks

  • Appending multiple xml files to single xml file using File channel?

    Hi Experts,
    I would like to get some pointers around xml files append.
    My sender application will send around 1000 messages through SOAP per day. But the target application needs single xml file formed by consolidation of all these 1000 files.
    I tried with txt files and the receiver file channel could append the txt files. However, since xml files allow only one root node, I am not able to achieve the requirement.
    Is there any option we can do to get the result?
    The target file location is UNIX folder. Do we need to create any shell script to run from the channel for appending the file?
    Do we need to use any XSLT mapping to strip the xml declaration tags and append the files. Once the single file is ready, using another file channel with XSLT mapping, insert a dummy root node and xml declaration tags to build an xml file?
    Any thoughts to get the result will be much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ray..

    Hi,
    You have two options
    1)Using Receiver Sender File channel select mode append it does the job.
    Option 2:
    Using BPM we cann collect all messages per day and club them as a one message, in this case create Target data type root node occurance 1 to unbounded. so it cal hold multiples SOAP messages in only XML messages.
    search in sdn for BPM collect pattrersn,its very simple .
    Option 3:
    Create scheell script in OS level and write a logic to append all files planced in FTP.

  • Writing multiple arrays to a single xml file at seperate times without overwriting the previous file?

    Hi my name is Dustin,
    I am new to labview and teststand... I am trying to right multiple arrays of data to a single xml file. I can do this with a cluster but I have to create a variable for each of those arrays (21 arrays) and I was hoping to use the same variable for each array. Meaning I obtain my array of data write it to an xml file then replace that array in that variable with a new array and then call up my VI that writes that array to an xml file and write it to the same xml file underneath the first array without overwriting it. Attached is my VI I created to write an array to an xml file. Again I am wondering if there is a way to write multiple arrays to a single xml file at different times without overwriting the previous xml file.
    Thanks

  • How to show multiple messages for a single exception

    hi
    Please consider this example application created using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0
    at http://www.consideringred.com/files/oracle/2010/MultipleMessagesExceptionApp-v0.01.zip
    It has a class extending DCErrorHandlerImpl configured as ErrorHandlerClass in DataBindings.cpx .
    Running the page and entering a value starting with "err" will result in an exception being thrown and multiple messages shown.
    See the screencast at http://screencast.com/t/zOmEOzP4jmQ
    To get multiple messages for a single exception the MyDCErrorHandler class is implemented like
    public class MyDCErrorHandler
      extends DCErrorHandlerImpl
      public MyDCErrorHandler()
        super(true);
      @Override
      public void reportException(DCBindingContainer pDCBindingContainer,
        Exception pException)
        if (pException instanceof JboException)
          Throwable vCause = pException.getCause();
          if (vCause instanceof MyMultiMessageException)
            reportMyMultiMessageException(pDCBindingContainer,
              (MyMultiMessageException)vCause);
            return;
        super.reportException(pDCBindingContainer, pException);
      public void reportMyMultiMessageException(DCBindingContainer pDCBindingContainer,
        MyMultiMessageException pException)
        String vMessage = pException.getMessage();
        reportException(pDCBindingContainer, new Exception(vMessage));
        List<String> vMessages = pException.getMessages();
        for (String vOneMessage : vMessages)
          reportException(pDCBindingContainer, new Exception(vOneMessage));
    }I wonder if calling reportException() multiple times is really the way to go here?
    question:
    - (q1) What would be the preferred use of the DCErrorHandlerImpl API to show multiple messages for a single exception?
    many thanks
    Jan Vervecken

    fyi
    Looks like using MultipleMessagesExceptionApp-v0.01.zip in JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 (11.1.1.2.36.55.36) results in a different behaviour compared to when used in JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 (11.1.1.3.37.56.60)
    see http://www.consideringred.com/files/oracle/img/2010/MultipleMessages-111130versus111120.png
    When using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 each exception seems to result in two messages where there is only one message (as intended/expected) per exception when using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 .
    (Could be somehow related to the question in forum thread "multiple callbacks to DCErrorHandlerImpl".)
    But, question (q1) remains and is still about JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 .

  • IDOC to File, variable substitution on outbound message XML tag attributes

    My scenario is IDOC to FILE using XSL mappings.The target format is 2 XML tags (header, line) with the data stored in the attributes of each tag.
    EG. <header attr1=one attr2=two attr3=three><line attr1=one attr2=two /></header>
    The name of the file is dictated by an outbound attribute value in the header tag.
    Can I get access to it the attribute in the target message in the CC_FILE using variable substution. ?
    Currently I am not using content conversion as the XSL produces the file format needed, so I would pefer not to change the outbound message format/structure as this is going to an external party. I would prefer not to change the outbound format as this would need content conversion to strip the unwanted/information/processing node that is used for this purpose (file naming).
    The name is a calculation of fields in the IDOC and is not explicit dictated (business logic is applied in the mapping to get the file name), so I would prefer to use the attribute of the resulting XML to keep the "business logic" in the XSL..
    Things that cannot be changed.... 1. Must use XSL.for mapping. 2. Format cannot be changed of the outbound message. 3. Would prefer not to involved content conversion to keep formatting/node structure in the XSL mapping.
    I have seen some reference to this being possible on the forums but nothing solid from what Ive read.
    Something like var1 = payload:/Header/@attr1 in variable sub to get at the attribute
    Any comments ?
    Thanks in advance.
    One final piece of info. its on a PI 7.1 system.

    I think its best explained by my other thread Link:PI 7.1 Access to Dynamic Configuration through Java Class .
    Thanks for the link I have already implemented based on that link but the one crucial difference is that it is implemented using a static method with no reference to the actual object (payload) for Dynamic configuration. It seems that without the 7.0 API which isnt available in 7.1 by default XSL with java extentions is limited to static methods. If you could read the other thread it certainly is possible I'm mistaken.

  • How to loop through single XML File and send multiple RFC calls?

    I am looking for the best approach to use for making multiple RFC calls (can be sequential) using a single XML file of data.  I have been attempting to get a BPM loop working, but to no avail.  My RFC only accepts a single set of delivery input and I have been told to try to work with it as is.
    input xml sample:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

          <delivery_number>2</delivery_number>
          <carrier_name>UPS</carrier_name>
       </POD>
    </ProofOfDelivery>
    I need to make a synchronous RFC call for each set of POD data.
    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for the inputs.

  • Exposing mutiple outbound message interface as a single Web service

    Hi all,
    My Scenario is SOAP <--> PI 7.0 <---> SAP R/3 (Proxy communication). A third party portal will communicate 24/7 online with SAP R/3 via PI 7.0. I have to expose all the outbound message interfaces as a single webservice, so that the third party portal will consume that web service and will communicate to SAP R/3. The communication between Portal and PI 7.0 will be SOAP and from PI to SAP R/3 as proxy communication. I can able to expose a each outbound message interface as a webservice individually i.e each message interface gets separate WSDL file. But the portal people asking me to generate single WSDL (web service) in which all the message interfaces should be included as operations. Could you please send me the information, how to generate a single web service for all the message interfaces?
    I have gone through the entire SDN community, but could nt able to get the information. If anybody worked on similer issue , please guide me to approach to get the solution.
    Regards
    Vijayanand Poreddy

    Hi,
    It is possible to expose all operation using one endpoint by overwritting the default interface name and interface namespace in one "generic" soap sender CC. To achieve it, you need to set the following options Use Encoded Headers and Use Query String in your sender CC.
    Unfortunatelly, there is one drowback of this approach. Before portal will send the request, it has to concatenate the generic endpoint:
    http://<host>:<j2ee-port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=<party>:<service>:<channel>
    with URL encoded interface information:
    &version=3.0&Interface=http%3A%2F%2Fsap.com%2Ftest%5ETest
    for each operations.
    For more detail ref these docs:
    [How To… Use the XI 3.0 SOAP Adapter|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d23cbe11-0d01-0010-5287-873a22024f79]

    I guess that in PI 7.1 this disadvantage will be enhanced.

  • How to save sections of a single XML Document to multiple tables ?

    Firstly, I apologise for the long e-mail but I feel it's necessary in order to clarify my problem/question.
    The XML document representation below stores information about a particular database. From the information in the XML document you can tell that there is a single database called "tst" which contains a single table called "tst_table". This table in turn has two columns called "CompanyName" & "Country".
    I want to use Oracle's XML SQL Utility to store this information into three seperate database tables. Specifically, I want to store the information pertaining to the database (i.e. name etc.) in one table, the information pertaining to the table (name, no. of columns etc.) in another and the information pertaining to the columns (name, type etc.) in yet another table.
    I have seen samples where an entire XML Document is saved to a database table but I cannot find any examples where different sections of a single XML Document are saved into different database tables using the XML SQL Utility.
    Can you please tell me the best approach to take in order to accomplish this . Does it involve creating an XMLDocument and then extracting the relevant sections as XMLDocumentFragment's, retrieving the String representations of these XMLDocumentFragment's and passing these strings to the OracleXMLSave.insertXml() method.
    Is this the best approach to take or are there any other, perhaps more efficient or elegant, ways of doing this ?
    Thanks in advance for your help

  • Create single XML document from multiple queries

    hi all!
    being a new programmer in XML world,my question might sound a bit stupid but your answers would mean a world to me. i have to generate a single XML document from my database by querying more than one table. for example i have 3 tables i.e HR_EMP_NAME, HR_PRODUCTS_DETAIL, HR_PAYROLL_SUMMARY. all three tables have completely different columns except one ID column which is a foreign kay from HR_MASTER_LIST. i want to get any insert operation on these tables as a single document. so far as i have studied, one option is to generate XMLDoc using XSU and then add child nodes using JAXP but i am ot geting the logic right.
    please do reply.
    thanks a lot
    usman

    This is an SQL/XML based answer so how much it helps you is hard to say, but it would be one option. You can have the SQL statement build the XML for you as shown by this simple example.
    SELECT XMLElement("root",
              XMLForest(emp.dummy AS "emp_name",
                        prod.dummy AS "prod_lvl",
                        pay.dummy AS "pay_scale"))
      FROM dual emp,
           dual prod,
           dual pay
    WHERE emp.dummy = prod.dummy
      AND emp.dummy = pay.dummy;which produces (formatted for human readability)
    <root>
      <emp_name>X</emp_name>
      <prod_lvl>X</prod_lvl>
      <pay_scale>X</pay_scale>
    </root>Whether that works with what you are trying to do via Java you will have to decide.

  • CC&B not populating response to real-time Outbound Message

    I have a real-time Outbound Message which is sent to webMethods via SOAP with the HTTP Sender (not RTHTTPSNDR). In my BO Schema, I have the response element defined as:
    <responseMessage type="raw" mapField="XML_RESPONSE"/>
    The Outbound Message is successfully sent and the webMethods response updates the message to 'Complete' but there is no data in the response tab on the Outbound Message in CC&B. For my testing, I simply want a single element of <status> populated in the response.
    This is the response message that is sent by webMehods:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope
    xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <SOAP-ENV:Header
    xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    </SOAP-ENV:Header>
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
    <responseMessage>
    <Status>Success</Status>
    </responseMessage>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    hi andries
    can i know what type of invocation type you are using in external system
    If you use RTHTTPSNDR on xai sender then you must use invocation type as realtime on externalsystem( you can define xsl for both request and response)
    If you use HTTPSNDR then you must use invocation type as XAI (for which you can define a request xsl but not response xsl)
    so my advice is to go with RTHTTPSNDR and define both request and response xsl files
    MOST Important your xai sender never gets refreshed unless you restart your ccb server this is because invocation is REALTIME
    if you use HTTPSNDR then just by going to xai command you can refresh mpl refresh sender command
    I think its a bug in ccb 2.3.1 sender doesnt gets refreshed with new values
    Now for the purpose if you can post your request schema and then the request xsl and the response xsl ,ill clear your doubt happily.

  • Managing multiple Postfix instances on a single host

    We have quite a few sites on our Xserve. Each site should be able to relay email out the respective unique IP on a single host; however, by default email goes out the default website of the server or which IP is the current gateway.
    NOTE: this is not a Postfix Virtual Domain Hosting > mail forwarding domains issue. Mail routes just fine to the correct email boxes. This is and issue where email going out to other mail servers originates from the box and not the respective domains and IP space.
    The solution for this is Multiple PostFix Instances. One for each website (each website has a respective IP due to SSL and DNS is correct along with MX records).
    For the outbound mail relay for our corporate network it seems there are no fields to enable a new postfix instance for each hosted or virtually hosted domain. Nor is there a way to enable SMTP to relay outgoing mail through another host unless you use a generic setting for every website on the server.
    So for a enterprise level business how do we Managing multiple Postfix instances on a single host?

    Fully on the same page with you. 110%
    Here is why I am under the impression of why each domain name needs to be as if it needs its own MTA (mail transfer agent). No matter how big or small the business.
    Just like a domain using SSL in Apache needs a dedicated IP when doing the packets . . .
    Yahoo the big dog (for small to medium online businesses 70% of their customers make purchases with Yahoo emails; which most of them are temp emails or known as aliases.) states:
    From: help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/postmaster/basics/postmaster-02.html
    Many mail providers follow the same guidelines:
    {quote}Segregate your lists to different IP addresses. If you maintain several lists (or clients, especially for an ASP), you may want to segregate your lists to ensure that users are marking each list on its own merits. If user sees both spam and legitimate mail from the same IP, their notifications to us will be hazy and will likely result in the spam overiding the legitimate mail.{quote}
    So why not segregate websites to email out their own dedicated IPs?
    Understandably sites that share IP space can go out the default MTA or better yet the MTA of that IP.
    This way host providers can segment groups of clients and further prevent issues with out going email.
    When email goes out a single MTA there are checks and rate limitations not just on the hops involved but from the "originating" IP address. So if site "A" has one IP and site "B" has another . . . well they both send email out the same default gateway. Take 100's of domains going out the same IP and customers (websites) start having issues getting customer communications delivered.
    {quote}Maintain accurate reverse-DNS information for your mail servers. Yahoo! Mail makes extensive DNS checks for each connection, and an accurate reverse DNS will ensure prompt processing of your connection and email.{quote}
    One mistake by one client out of 1,000 sites (or now Apple letting tens of thousands of sites able to be hosted) can get all 1,000 websites deferred and have what is called "reputation" issues.
    In the past, as companies grow, sure they get more boxes or can cluster mail servers. With economic times beyond using Parallels . . . a single Mac Xserve can handle tens of thousands of websites doing a few thousand emails a day or more. It is more of a software/setting/configuration issue than just capability.
    I remember Intel board meetings in the 90's where I (as a customer) stated put two nic cards on the mother board, standardize those rails, put twisted pair on those hard drive cables. Some things just take practical experience to see yes there is a real need and the business people are not getting it because they are focussing on the business or chasing their tail.
    Also Note the IP address has to be STATIC:
    From: help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/postmaster/errors/550-bl21.html;ylt=AsNxnjlX971dwy743e7j.olJHdG
    {quote}In our continuing efforts to protect our users from unsolicited email, Yahoo! Mail does not accept SMTP connections from dynamic or residential IP addresses . . .{quote}
    From: help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/postmaster/basics/postmaster-15.html
    {quote}Segregate your mail streams by IP addresses, domains and/or DKIM selectors since Yahoo! Mail keeps reputation data about each IP address and domain you send from. For example, by segmenting the mail stream that delivers marketing mail from another that sends transactional messages, you make it easier for Yahoo! Mail to determine and assign each mail stream's reputation. {quote}
    {quote} Use common-sense settings. While we have not published guidelines for numbers of connections you can concurrently use, we ask that you treat our resources with respect. The more you take, the fewer there are for others, which may force us to defer your connections. {quote}
    From: help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/postmaster//basics/postmaster-38.html
    {quote}To facilitate the smooth flow of messages between legitimate senders and Yahoo! Mail, we offer the following recommendations:
    Limit the messages you send per connection
    Yahoo! Mail accepts a maximum of 5 messages per SMTP connection. We encourage you to cap the number of messages you send to Yahoo! Mail to fall within this per-connection limit.
    When this limit is reached, no further messages will be accepted for delivery as our server automatically terminates the connection (without giving an error code). If you are sending messages to a significant number of Yahoo! Mail users, the suggestions below will help ensure uninterrupted delivery for your messages.
    Reestablish connections if you do not get an error code
    When our server terminates your connection after 5 messages have been accepted, you may try to reconnect to our MX servers immediately thereafter.
    Open concurrent connections
    You may open concurrent connections from the same server to facilitate efficient transmission of your messages. However, while we do not publish specific guidelines for the numbers of connections you can concurrently use, we ask that you treat our resources with respect. The more you take, the fewer there are for others, which may force us to deprioritize connections from your server(s).{quote}
    In the Server Admin under General one can enable IMAP with a maximum number of connections. However, for normal SMTP there is no connections cap. Unless I am wrong here.
    Domain throttling by domain is another way, but the real solution is just dedicated IPs for each website or each website to have a separate MTA. In the past this has meant a dedicated server or a physical gateway.
    Technically there should be a Virtual solution. If I can virtually host many sites and many incoming emails on dedicated IP space respective to each domain. There should be virtual MTAs on dedicated or the same respective IP space as the incoming; hence, why I gave the example of how SSL works in Apache with web servers.
    Totally get what you are saying on how currently mail works just out the default gateway since there is only one "default" MTA for the "xserve".
    Everything is good coming in, but did something somewhere miss the mark on the outgoing? Should be one for one.
    Yahoo is the big player putting the foot down or the glass half full people would say setting the mark on how outgoing mail should work when they are accepting emails.
    I am not trying to innovate, but rather just follow the rules.
    Sure mail out one MTA works no matter how many website you put on the box and it is "good enough for government work" or "looks good from my house".
    There are many people struggling with corporate communications (even the concept of corporate communications and marketing) and I think Apple could step up to the plate and help follow the standard of best practices.
    I have done research for 10 years and over the past two tested what I know to be true. Then spoke with many businesses that did not understand but had the same issue. . .
    Yahoo customers not getting their email communications and email simply not being as good as the old fashion phone call.
    So back to your question (fabulous question since every tech asks me the same thing):
    {quote}So my question to you is this: why can't you run all your domains on a single server/IP address?{quote}
    Because it is no longer 1996 and I want Apple stock to triple!
    . . . and that it no longer works for sites conducting a profitable business. We are really underachieving what America could do!
    Yahoo! is clearly saying to each business to do business communications or even marketing on separate IPs. Gmail, Hotmail, and the list goes on and on. They all follow the same thing. Yahoo! just happens to be more aggressive and has more good consumers (buyers) using their free email service. Gmail started aliases and could gain market share of buyers.
    I need to get Xserve to have one dedicated IP in and out for each independent website whether it is an Apache transaction on port 80 (443 SSL) or an email going out the postfix MTA on port 25 SMTP or any other standard alternative port (587 or 465 SSL) for that matter.
    So far everything works as expected, but the SMTP MTA out. One big default gateway per hardware.
    We missed the 1% mark. That club that gets it! I would like to see every business owner that buys an Xserve to be in that one percent club out of the box!
    Why Rob? Well because it works! Dedicated IPs work. Think about this, if you gave the postman your address and did not include your suite number more than likely your lucky if you get your mail. WORKS the same way for email.
    If your business grows you can get a few more until something once again gets abused and they start tracking MAC addresses. By then will have virtual MAC addresses like most routers can already do.
    To prevent SPAM you just set the MTA defaults to one IP per website. Let's keep it simple. This way you keep a clean reputation and one reputation per website or business. Most businesses just need one IP and cannot afford a whole server for each website/business. THINK GREEN!!! The email filtering systems (RBLs and filtering rules) already out there will weed abusers out. Let's not hurt the small to medium businesses in the process.
    Your not going to get RDNS and dedicated IP space anyhow unless your a real business.
