Multiple tree actions on drilldown

Alright, i'm trying to create a tree navigation menu that only has one branch open at the same time. To achieve that i would like to call RESET_TREE every time before a DRILL_DOWN is called. Is it possible to do both of those in a single request?

Display of relationships between nodes of multiple trees

Hello,
I am trying to develop a gui to display the relationship between multiple trees.

(The hyphens do not signifiy relationships, they are put there because the
preview takes away the blanks. The | characters are intended to act as separators
between adjacent trees.)
All the trees are scrollable and have been added to three different scrollpanes
and are displayed on a window. The relationships can only be between leaves
of the trees.
The only way I can figure out to show such relationships is by drawing lines
e.g. a line from Tree1.Leaf1 to Tree2.Leaf21 etc. Users may define relationships
by drawing lines from one tree node to another by dragging the mouse.
The lines may criss cross and there might be a lot of lines etc.
I would like to know about alternative ways to show such relationships on the
screen in a neater way.
I would also like a way to make lines "full fledged objects" e.g. they will get mouse
events such that actions can be triggered by double clicking or right clicking on a
line.
I would appreciate your help in this very much.

However, the JGraph framework is available only on Jsdk 1.4 and not on Jsdk 1.3.
I saw an item in the FAQ about the possibility of porting JGraph to 1.3 but there were
no links on the site for this.
I need to use Jsdk 1.3 as Jsdk1.4 is unsuported by the vendor of one of the tools that I need
to use and they do not have any plans to support 1.4 in the near future.
I would appreciate the forum's help in pointing out JGraph like functionality in Jsdk1.3 via some other API or maybe knowledge about whether someone has ported JGraph to Jsdk 1.3

Well think of it I believe the scenario is too bird viewed hence the solution can't be exact.
But thinking of a possible solution every time a child operation fails have a catch block where you you go back to system if the parent needs to be deleted if yes, call Delete Method on the parent.
Note: Make sure that the decision on whether or not the parent record needs to be deleted will depends on the question "Does Parent Record already has several other children associated to it or not"

I have a requirement to create an output layout in which there are 3 dynamic rows in header and each row is having its own sub devision (like a tree structure). The number of columns will depend upon the data.
I am able to create N number of dynamic columns according to data fetched at run time but dont know how to create multiple tree structures rows in header.
Can any one please suggest how can I achieve this in SAP?

Multiple Conditions\Actions in a Workflow

I am in the process of creating an expense approval form with a workflow that has two Approval stages. In the first stage, however, the approver would be dynamic based on a selection in the form. The second stage approval would go to the same
person\group. What's the best\correct way to do multiple\conditions\actions in a single step? As an example of the workflow:
If Field1 equals Value1 Assign a task to Person1. If Associated Task is Approved create a new Task and Assign it to Person 10
there would be about 12 different iterations of the first step, Value2 Assign to Person 2 and so on.

Hi pjs, it depends on who the person is/how they're related to the selection on the form. If it's the user's manager, you can get that information by using the link below. If there's no real correlation to the selection made, then you'd have to make a list
with two columns- "selection" and "person to email." Then check that list against the selection and get the corresponding email for the particular approver.

Problem running multiple folder actions at the same time

Hi,
Does anyone have some experience running multiple folder actions at the same time?
I've written a Applescript folder action that processes some files. When adding some files, the script starts and all goes well. The processing of each file takes a few minutes, but all files are processed correctly.
However, when adding some new files to the dropfolder, while the folder action is all ready processing other files dropped a few minutes earlier, the process that is all ready running immediately aborts and the folder action is relaunched on the new files, leaving the old files for what they are...
The same problem occurs with multiple folders, each having a folder action attached. When dropping files in "Folder A", the script starts processing. But if someone droppes files in "Folder B", The script of folder A aborts, and the script of folder B starts processing. When adding more files to the folders, the result is the same. In some casses, when the last dropped files are processed, the os continues where the operation was aborted on the previous files. But this not always happens. To make things worse, when you remove the items from the folders afterwords, the folder actions starts running again on items no longer present in the folder !!!!
Does anyone know how I can prevent the folder action being aborted when new files are dropped and placing the new files in "Hold", until the previous files are processed? How can I prevent a folder action being aborted when a item is dropped into another folder?
I've written a small script to test this behaviour. Just create one or more folders and attach the script below. Drop a item into the folder, wait a few seconds and drop another one in the same or another folder. To monitor what happens please check the console.

That is pretty much the way Folder Actions work, especially since AppleScript is not multi-threaded. If you are using them as some intermediate step in a workflow, you might rethink the way you are handling the files (for example, use a droplet instead). Other options would be using launchd to watch a path or a shell script on a different thread.

Can multiple button actions be implemented by creating just one RFC?

Hi All,
I wanted ask a general question "is it possible to create just one RFC for multiple button actions such as delete, insert, search, modify, copy".
I tried using one RFC for all the above mentioned actions but I wasn't able to consistently get expected results. So, I just want to confirm from SDN forum members that is it a good practice or is it advisible to create individual RFC for each button actions?

Hi,
I did not see any problem for that creation on multiple button actions such as delete, insert, search, modify, copy". These actions depending up on your RFC.
For Example. Your RFC having Insert and Delete Functionality you can develop these two Actions. i.e is depending upon your requirement and Depending upon you r RFC functionality. That
RFC donu2019t gave insert, Delete, modify these functionalities no need to create these Actions.
So there is no restriction for call the RFC Via Actions(buttons)

i mean to say if you activate the additional action then only the second action on the same day gets stored in to the IT-0302.
if you dont activate additional actions then if you run the second action on same day it will over write the existing record and gives warning message that this record over write the existing record.
so here the point is if additional actions is activated then only system allows you to perform the second action on same day..
other wise it will replace the existing record.
if you want to prevent the additional actions to be prevented even after activating it --i think its not possible because the functionality of the IT 0302 is to save more than one record.
yes you can restrict the to perform the action through authorizations

We have a hardware apliance that does RAS for us, it points to our BM3.8
Radius box for authentication. It can have at most 3 authetication
radius server addresses. If it gets a radius response from one server,
(whether approved or not) it stops looking. BM3.8 makes good fail over
that way (if one server is not responding to radius request, the Ras box
will go to the next server) but it does not help me when the user I need
to authenticate is in another tree.
Is there a way to have a radius serve support multiple trees...maybe
with running on the servers where those other trees reside or something?
So far the only answer I have is to define users in both trees...a fact
that gets me odd looks at audit time when I have many more users than I
should.....

Identity Manager (aka DirXML) is one way to solve this problem, and some
customers have done this. However, this is not the only solution. You can
also configure RADIUS proxy using a "Search Domain" or a "Generic Proxy
Domain." These can be configured on your DAS object in ConsoleOne.
If you set up a search domain, then RADIUS will forward the request to
another RADIUS server if it cannot find the user. This should do exactly
what you want, but may slow your authentication times a bit. This solution
is appropriate if you're satisfied with your current authentication times
and do not have many lookup contexts configured.
If you use a generic proxy domain then the RADIUS server will proxy requests
based on the user name. Users must login using names in the form of
"userCommonName@proxyDomainName."

Most effective way round this is to use dirxml or idm2 to
automatically duplicate users into an authentication tree, or
authentication OU. You can then define your radius servers to look
exclusivly at that tree / ou and authenticate all your users
sucessfully.
In terms of your audit, your license with novell will stipulate that
administrative users are excluded from the user count. As these
duplicated users are there only for admin purposes, these can safely
be excluded from the license count.

How do you create a macro for Acrobat Convert Multiple Reports action in Microsoft Access

I have several reports in microsoft access and I've been able to combine them into a single PDF file using the Acrobat Convert Multiple Reports feature. Is there a way to create a macro for this action? I would like to create a time event for this procedure.

Multiple tree objects in ApEx 4.0

Hi all,
I'm working on a project where i need to put 2 tree objects in one region.
First tree object is correct but when i add my second tree below the first one no data is shown or the wrong data is shown.
Strange thing is when i put the second tree above the first tree it all works well.
Is there an explanation for this or is it a bug in ApEx?
my apex version is 4.0.0.00.46

Pre-Apex4 you could make use of the A1 and A2 columns in the tree SQL along with the tree template to conditional set the color of the node text. Does anyone know how to achieve this in Apex4? I've tried using the tree SQL shown below but this displays the HTML (SPAN tags) as text.
