Multiple Views Order Change?

Hey guys,
I have a simple question (or what seems like a simple question [though still too complicated for me ;)]) regarding a multi-view app. I'm working on my first game, but now I'm overcomplicating it and trying to make it a good game. However, I've finished most of the game part with the exception of the main menu which I'm trying to add in the form of another view. However, since I already made the view that features the game's body, the app automatically runs that view first. Is there a way to switch the order of the views so that my main menu view gets run first?

I just tried switching the code from both of the view controllers, but the first view I created is still the first one to show up.

View Settings change when message is selected

When I select a message to view all of the other messages's view order changes. I go to VIEW in toolbar and the SORT BY selection has changed from ORDER RECEIVED to SUBJECT and the order has changed from DESENDING to ASCENDING. This happens about every time I go to INBOX. What do I have to do to keep the settings permanent?

are you perhaps clicking on the column headings instead of the actual mail item? clicking a heading sorts by that item and clicking again reverses the sort.

Controlling Post Order of Multiple View Objects

Here is the scenario:
I have a use case of "Creating an Abstract"
Steps:
step1 ) (Page 1) Author presents the details of the abstract (Details goes to 2 tables ABSTRACT & ABSTRACT_CONTENT tables). For the 2 tables i have 2 entities. I use a view here called CreateAbstractView from both the tables( here i control the post order of the entities ....code from jdeveloper 11g guide)
Step 2)(Page 2) Author presents details of Additional Authors. I use the view (*AdditionalAuthorDetailsView*) (Details goes to 2 tables AUTHOR & ABSTRACT). Here in the abstract table i have a parent key(parent abstract id) So all the additional authors has a record in Abstract table with parent_abstract_id from step1. ABSTRACT table also has a foreign key (author_id) .Here also i control the post order of the 2 entity object using the code from jdeveloper 11g guide.
I also have a link from CreateAbstractView to AdditionalAuthorDetailsView (abstract_id in Abstract table from CreateAbstractView to parent_abstract_id in Abstract table from AdditionalAuthorDetailsView )
If i have a commit on both the pages , i don't see a problem.
But i want to have a commit process at the end so that the user can review the information. So when i try to add a commit process at the end , i get a exception (Parent Key not found exception) which i came to understand that commit from AdditionalAuthorDetailsView is happening first which is trying to insert a record into ABSTRACT table and cannot find the parent_abstract_id.
How do i control the post order for multiple view objects in such scenarios?

Change view order of characteristics in list and details view

Hello everybody
I made some changes in the view order of most standard and own characteristics. Unfortunately the characteristic position changes I made are only partly applied!
Example:

Why characteristics are not shown as a column in the list view is clear to me. This is the case when no catalog items have a value in those characteristics.
Did anyone else out there observe similar behaviour and hopefully knows the solution to it?

Just for the records...
The system obeys to a changed character view order of own defined characteristics only if your own defined characteristics are not specified on catalog but on schema level!
We had specified our own defined characteristics on both levels at the same time... this disturbed the system and was the reason for the disorder in list and details view.
After correcting it all is fine again.

Sale Order changes View

Dear Guru's
Is there any T-Code for verifying Sale Order changes (Step wise), as in my company Invoices are generated with lot of changes which not matching with Sale Order conditions. So I would like to moniter the Sale Order conditions changes. Kindly help me out.

Sales order changes can be seen in the report only if the changes are made by any user(userid). If your problem is with changes in pricing conditons...then before comparing the sales orders and invoices, I advise you to check the copy controls and the price type used in the copy controls. If the price type selected is to redetermine the pricing, then you should check the validity of the conditon records. Sometimes, the conditon records may be different during sales order creation and invoice creation.

How to run multiple CodedUI Ordered Tests over multiple Test Agents for parallel execution using Test Controller

we are using VS 2013, I need to run multiple Coded UI Ordered Tests in parallel on different agents.
My requirement :
Example: I have 40 Coded UI Test scripts in single solution/project. i want to run in different OS environments(example 5 OS ). I have created 5 Ordered tests with the same 40 test cases.
I have one Controller machine and 5 test agent machines. Now I want my tests to be distributed in a way that every agent gets 1 Ordered test to execute.
Machine_C = Controller (Controls Machine_1,2,3,4,5)
Machine_1 = Test Agent 1 (Should execute Ordered Test 1 (ex: OS - WIN 7) )
Machine_2 = Test Agent 2 (Should execute Ordered Test 2 (ex:
OS - WIN 8) )
Machine_3 = Test Agent 3 (Should execute Ordered Test 3
(ex: OS - WIN 2008 server) )
Machine_4 = Test Agent 4 (Should execute Ordered Test 4 (ex:
OS - WIN 2012 server) )
Machine_5 = Test Agent 5 (Should execute Ordered Test 5 (ex:
OS - WIN 2003 server) )
I have changed the “MinimumTestsPerAgent” app setting value
as '1' in controller’s configuration file (QTController.exe.config).
When I run the Ordered tests from the test explorer all Test agent running with each Ordered test and showing the status as running. but with in the 5 Test Agents only 2 Agents executing the test cases remaining all 3 agents not executing the test cases but
status showing as 'running' still for long time (exp: More then 3 hr) after that all so its not responding.
I need to know how I can configure my controller or how I can tell it to execute these tests in parallel on different test agents. This will help me reducing the script execution time.
I am not sure what steps I am missing.
It will be of great help if someone can guide me how this can be achieved.

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.
As far as I know, we cannot specify coded UI ordered test run on specific test agent. And it is mainly that test controller determine which coded UI ordered test assign to which test agent.
Generally, I know that if we want to run multiple CodedUI Ordered Tests over multiple Test Agents for parallel execution using Test Controller.
We will need to change the MinimumTestsPerAgent property to 1 in the test controller configuration file (QTControllerConfig.exe.config) as you said.
And then we will need to change the bucketSize number of tests/number of machines in the test settings.

Create multiple sales orders from single service notification?

Is it possible to create multiple sales orders from a single notification (IW51)?
We currently create sales orders directly within transaction IW51 (Create Service Notification). We kick off the sales order creation by pressing the "SALES ORD." button in the notification screen. We're now interested in creating a 2nd Sales Order which would tie directly to the same Service Notification. This is so that we can have the second order assigned to a different account assignment WBS (there are two different parties doing work on the service notification).
I assume you would have to go to VA01 to create the Sales Order, but am not sure how to tie it directly to the service notification from here. I treied to do a create with reference, but there is no ability to create with reference to a service notification.
Do I have to create a second service notification for the 2nd Sales Order for this to work? I want to avoid doing this if at all possible.
I'm running SAP R/3 Enterprise

go to vtaa- copy controls for sales document to sales document.
select your combination of order and quotation go to item level. There select value 0(zero) in field positive/negative negative.
No need to change update document flow.
After setting zero in copy control that be told on above. create order with respective to the quotation.
After saving the order.
go to document flow to see the status in between quotation and order.
If you placed setting right, then u certainly observe for quotation status will be open. so you can create no. of sales order with respect to that quotation..

Multiple Sales Orders from One Quotation.

Hey SD Gurus,
I want to create multiple sales orders referring to one quotation. When I create the first sales order the status from quotation change to Completed and this doesn't enable me to create a new sales order. Please let me know how to satisfy this requirement. Thanks in advance.

In your contract for line item 1 you have entered qty 100
You careated sales order with 70 quantity, and now you want to creat another sales order for 30
For this first you need to check what is your item category in contract (VA42)
Goto VOV7
SPRO - IMG - Sales and distribution - Sales - Sales document item - Define item categories - Go to change mode
Make the completion rule = B Item is completed after full quantity has been referenced

I have been working on a book and have 418 photos already in my book. All of a sudden I cannot access the book format to see the multiple view, spread view, or single view. I can no longer see my book although I still see the collection with 418 photos

All of a sudden I cannot access the book module and clicking on the multiple view, spread view, or single view does not take me back to the book I have been working on. I can no longer see my book although I still see the collection with 418 photos under collections. What I do see is a blank template for a new book and I can't find the unfinished book I started with 418 photos. It is like the new empty template is somehow covering it up. How do I get back to the book I have been working on?

Is it possible you mistakenly clicked on a [Clear Layout] button?
But a great hint is- Always click on the [Create a Saved Book] button, early in your new book design.
Then you have a permanent link to the book in the Collections panel. (In addition to the standard collection of your selected images)
Note: a Book Collection shows an icon that looks like a book.
Every time you come back to edit the book, open the Book Module by clicking on the white arrow that appears on the end of your Book Collection title. (The title as saved)
Re-opening a book without using the "Saved Book" option can have unpredictable results.
A "Book" Collection is like a "Smart Collection" because anything you do to the book design, change pages, change images, etc, is automatically updated in the Saved Book collection.

Multiple planned orders in MRP run

I have a requirement where I need to create multiple planned order for the same material during MRP run. I understand that once I run MRP a planned order creates. If I run again for the same material, the quantity will be changed for the same planned order. Do we have any configuration so that system creates multiple planned orders for same material for each MRP run.

Planned orders may be changed by MRP until they are firmed. Therefore, what you need to do is to firm the planned orders after the MRP execution.
You can use for example, transaction MD19 to mass firm planned orders after each MRP run.
Otherwise, you can user BAdI MD_PLDORD_CHANGE to automatically firm the planned orders created by MRP.

Want to create a multiple Purchase Order using one file source

I'm want to create a multiple purchase order using one source file. I want to read the file source create LINES in a purchase order and when the Vendor code changes I want to Add the purchase order and then create a new purchase order and Add LINES and so on.
Right now I get Item.no is missing [POR1.ItemCode][Line 2]

Table based on multiple views

Hello all,
Is it possible to populate a table with data from multiple view objects that are linked with a view link?
The reason i want to do this is because if you update the reference ID in the master the detail automatically follows.
Now, I know i can create a view object and then include the detail info using expert mode, but this way the detail info doesn't change if i change the reference ID.
To conclude, a brief explanation of what i'm trying to achieve.
I have a table with adresses. Having a reference ID to the ZIP table.
Because the user doesn't know all the ID's by heart i show the name of the city and the user can change them by clicking on a lov button. This all works fine, BUT, when the city is changed the old one stays visible for the user. Although committing, changes the city to the new one.

Keeping in mind what Dave just said, you would be better off creating your GTT once. Then reusing it over and over again. Using GTTs is advantagous in that its contents are visible only at the session level, and depending on how the GTT was created it will either automatically truncate the table on commit (the default if not otherwise specfied) or truncate the table at the end of your session regardless of commits.

Multiple purchase orders in a file - Multiple IDOC'S based on lineitem

Hello All,
I have a typical requirement where as there needs to be "separate IDOCs for different material with distribution channel X and Y".
The input is a file with multiple purchase oders inorder to generate multiple IDOCs..
As a prerequisite I made changes in occurrence of target structure IDOC from 1..1 to 1..unbounded.
I came to know from some sources that it can be achieved through Java mapping but i am not aware of JAVA.
Can anybody has the detailed Java mapping code?
It would be great if anybody help me out from this issue .

May be we can achieve it using graphical mapping but its a edifact file with multiple purchase orders.
Internally we have some conditions like for every repetirion of the segment UNH new idoc number needs to generate
i.e. UNH -
>IDOC
along with line item requirement.
In this case need to handle logic at the top level as well as line item level or can club both.
If possible can you please let me know what have you done in your case so that i can compare mine.

Define multiple views

I'm trying to build a simple app which has multiple views. When the user clicks on the worksetItem I want to change the view, and display an other table in the shell. But I dont know how can I define another view, and add it to the shell.

I've used the following tutorial to buld the base of my app:

And now I want to spereate the BP data, and create a subview for it, and do the same for Sales, than load it to the main view, when the user clicks on the menu. But I dont really know how to write my own view. (what to write to the "createContent()").
