Multiply Prop Factors with a KF value ?

Hi
In DP 5.0, Can we multiply Proportional Factors with another KF values in a macro ?
I want to write a macro with APODPDANT mulitiplied by another KF with its value. Is it possible ? Because when i look at Prop Factors, i see them as 42,000/40,000 like that. Only when i go to percentae view, then i can see actual factors. So can i use these actual factors to multiply in a macro ?
If not, how can i use them to multiply with another KF in a macro ?
Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi,
The system calculates the proportional factor by multiplying the KF values in a CVC as well as the total to a very large value and then maintains the proportions.
Thus the absolute values displayed in APODPDANT are really not of much use.
Please try to build some other logic.

I know, that the proper way to populate the right side of shuttle is that:

How is it possible to populate the right side of the Shuttle with display/return values?

All you have to do is to use the subset of shuttle query to assign value to the right side shuttle.

using the code

Prop Factors based on Like Model

I got a Product A , which uses history of 3 SKU's B, C and D with Like Profile. When i generate Prop Factors for A, system not able generate Propfactors. Is it not possible to generate propfactors based on a Like Profile. Any help is appreciated.

Thx Dan for your input. The problem is, When i generate the forecast of Like Model assigned product. The time based disagg is not working properly. In a month, if u got 4 full weeks and 1 partial week, the data getting disaggregating equally among all the weeks, including split week. System is considering the split week also as a full week( With 7 days) and allocating quantity accordingly. Our disaggregation logic for time based disagg is APODPDANT. This error we are seeing only for Like Model assigned products only. If i use any regular products, the disaggregation is working fine. Even though we got the same setting in Test environment and production, the data is getting disaggregating correctly in quality, but its not the same case in Production. I am not able to come up any logic, why this is happening.
I tried different options, like, zeroed out the stat fcst and copied prop factors from different SKU and then generated forcast, still the disagg logic is not working.
System behaviour:
Feb 09 got 28 days, the total quantity is 2800, Feb1st is a single day in that split week. Instead of getting 100, its getting 2800/5 = 560
Any input is appreciated.

SSRS Report with mutli select values in parameters

Hi All,
I am creating a SSRS report and displaying the result in tablix. I want to make the report to filter by multi select values from the parameters.
I have 3 parameters. For all the three parameters, I have set "Default Values" and "Available Values". Also, modified my result dataset to get the values from parameters using "WHERE ID = @Parameter1" (example) and so
on..
3 Parameters types: 1. Yes or No
2. Date 3. Values with NULL in the DB
Problems:
1. When I am passing the default values "Yes" "No" - it is throwing errors because default values is passed as Yes "AND" No instead of "OR" condition. The value stored in the DB wil have either Yes or No but not both.
2. When I am querying the date values, it is a DateTime field in the DB. But I have queried like SELECT CONVERT(DATE, EXE_DATE) AS DATE FROM table which is giving only date in SQL but in SSRS displaying date with time.
3. When I pull the list of values for third Parameter from SQL, it has some NULL values. When I try to use it in SSRS, it is not displaying the NULL value as select option in the list of values
Any suggestions for the above three problems for SSRS with multi select values as filter will be helpful.

Regarding the three things:
1.) I believe your first parameter is mutliselect , please convert it to single select.
Steps:
a.) Select the parameter, right click and go to parameter properties
b.) Under General Tab in DataType section remove the checkbox for Allow Multiple Value.
2.) Instead of returning as the date please return string. For example :
SELECT CONVERT(VARCHAR, GETDATE(),101)

3.) As such there is no concept of null in SSRS. (Its a relational concept) . We do have nothing , which means empty. In Order to use null please select the Allow null option in the DataType section of the Parameter, This will add an checkbox for null in
the report preview. Its developer job to handle the null values in there query.

Contract Release value is not updated with Limit item value

We have SRM 4.0 with ECS scenario.
Contract are created in SRM and replicated to ERP.
If we create PO with Service line and Limit line using contract in both of these line items, contract Release value is getting updated only with Service line item value.
But the contract Total value is the addition of Service and Limit value of PO.
Why Contract Release value is not getting updated with Limit item value. Please help as early as possible.

Yes. there are various reasons .upon your contract incorrect status and linkage not establised / or more attachment in SRM GOA.
what type of contract are you using? GOA or CCTR
If it is GOA - which version of SRM and service pack ?are you in ?
If it is a GOA , BLAREL idoc might failed to post the release value in the SRM .
How contracts are created material / mat group ?
to fix or understand the issue, you need to recreate the issue.
what is the ERROR in BLAREL in SRM idoc monitoring ?

Excise invoice posted with Zero duty value

Hi,
My client has an STO process where they will generate a proforma Invoice with Excise duties,
Initially when proforma was created excise duties were not reflecting since condition records were not maintained, user was not aware of that and created a excise invoice also with 0 Duty value.
After this condition records were maintained and invoice was updated with excise values. But we are unable to update the excise tables through the same excise invoice no. This transaction is a back dated one for which client has already filed excise returns with SAP Excise number series, Can we pass a JV through FI to adjust the entries or any other solution.

if i go to cancel that cancel invoice in J1IIN
it is not allowing to cancel
If your copy control is in line with standard settings, first of all you cannot post the goods issue without any quantity and also generation of billing is not possible.
Coming to your second issue, please try in J1IH instead of J1IIN.

Using Hr Schema employees table
I Display employees data in af:table
and I make List Of values on Department_id filed to easy change the employee department
and another one on Job_id filed
and Imake them UI Hints as ( combo box with list of values ) in the employeesVO
the problem is when I Select a value from department or jobs ( combo box with list of values )
fires the entire filed validations for mandatory atributes
Note : the af:table Property ( contedelivery) is set to (immediate )

How to convert a number to FLOAT with 9 decimal values.

I need to convert a number like '10.02' to a floating point number with 9 decimal values like '10.022111221'. I think that the right function is TO_BINARY_FLOAT, but how can I obtain 9 decimal values? If I use the following syntax:
select TO_BINARY_FLOAT(num) from table
I obtain a floating point values with a variable number of decimal numbers after the ".", instead I need 9 number after ".".

the number I need to select is the result of a product, for example:
select (Num_A * Num_B) from Table;
Num_A has 2 decimal numbers, like 12.01 and Num_B could be: 12.111111111.
Now, Num_A * Num_B = 653.999999994
but I issue:
select TO_BINARY_FLOAT(54.00 * 12.111111111) from Table
I obtain:
654, a rounded value, but I need 653.999999994.

CreateInsert and LOV with multiple return values

HI. I am on Build JDEVADF_11.1.2.3.0_GENERIC_120914.0223.6276.1
I have a View Object which is based on Entity Object.
View Object has customer_name and customer_id attributes.
customer_name attribute has LOV (input field with LOV) based on some other View Object (which of caurse holds customer name and customer id data)
I defined that when LOV return the chosen values it will populate customer_name with "Customer Name" value and customer_id with "Customer Id" value
All atributes are updatable
I droped my View Object on the page and also "CreateInsert" buton. When I click on "CreateInsert" button, I can see new row added as expected, customer_name field has LOV. I can choose from LOV and can see customers and customer_id data. But when I click OK in the LOV pop-up only customer_name attribute is populated!
I do see that customer_id is returned from LOV (I implemented ReturnPopupEvent listener), but still the customer id remains empty.
I though maybe I need to add LOV as auto submit = true and set LOV to be a partial trigger for customer_id. But still - it didn't help
However, if I run Application Module tester, I do get what I want. I can create new row and when I change customer name , both customer name and customer id fields are populated

On Lov VO, make sure you have at least one or combination of attributes as Key attribute. and re test.

XML FORM - How to save read-only controls with a default value

Hello everybody,
I have a 3 xml forms, each one to create one type of news. I need to use 3 because each of this forms has their own controls. But the control which indicates the type of news (asociated with a KM Predefined Property) must be common in the 3 forms, in order to use it on searches.
The question is, how can I include in this forms a control:
- Visible for the user
- With a default value defined in the control properties (each form has a different value, corresponding with the type of news)
- Read-only mode
- The value showed in the control must be saved in the associated KM Predefined Property when the user clicks the Save button.
Anyone knows how to do this?
What control can I use?
I was thinking of trying with text boxes, but I don't find the way to make them unwritable (Read only mode).
It is posible using labels?

I put the <xsl:attribute name="readonly"> in both places (when test, and when not test). I'm not entirely sure if that's necessary, but that worked for me.

Dear Vijesh,
VA05 I believe is a very powerful report for doing analysis at order and line item level. If your rejection criterion includes a rejection reason at line item level, yes this list from VA05 can give rejected Sales Orders with Quantity and Value. See the screen shot below.
I selected a list with open dates till date, I can see Sales Order number, Sales Document Type, Item Number, Material, Rejection reason, Quantity at line item level and net price.
However, I am not sure what is the rejection criterion you use in your business and I am not sure if you use rejection reason and hence I would like to hear from you, if this explanation helps you.

Charge sales order value with a minimum value

Dear All,
I have one requirement where I would like to charge my sales order value with a minimum value. For example, a minimum sales order value requirements are set at $1,400.00 (the minimum values can be different based on the different materials) per order, if the value of the order exceeds $1,400.00, therefore no minimum fee is applied or displayed and the customer is charged the actual value of the order; if the value of the order is less than the minimum thus the customer is charged the minimum. We also can set the minimum as quantity.
Is there any standard functionality through which this can be done.. or any suggestion?

You can maintain the Condition Record with Condition Type as AMIW wrt to Division & Price Group.You can change the Accesses as per your requirements.

Arrow mark with kunnr field values in alv output.

I need to increase the column field length. I am using Function Module REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY because alv_grid display fm is not available in 4.0b version. I have used column optimization in layout. The column kunnr is coming with a small arrow though there is no data loss. Is there any way I can remove the arrow mark with kunnr field values.

You can increase your column lenght in fieldcat by using Fcat-columnwidth = "SIZE OF KUNNR ".
Set the size of kunnr field in fieldcat and get the appropiate output.
