Multitasking and Customisation queries

I'm planning on buying the new iPad 2 this month but i want to ask about the new capabilities of the device like multitasking and customisation options.
As we know Android OS is king when it comes to multitasking & customisations. issues such as changing wallpapers, video & music, browser options, etc.
In what way the iPad is also as good on these issues and are there more options coming up so we have more choices and stuff to do on our iPad.

Customisations i can think of would be..
1. being able to arrange and move widgets and apps on-the-fly?
2. being able to organise widgets and apps according to theer "category"?
e.g. Games, News, etc.
3. being able to change the wallaper on the home screen directly on-the-fly?
4. being able to add widgets/apps/shortcuts on the homescreens on-the-fly?
5. a one-stop control panel wherein you can turn On & off specific functions like the Wifi, bluetooth, screen brightness, etc.
6. being able to edit/customise an EQ settings under the iPod app
these are just examples but can the iPad 2 do all of that?

Idoc DEBCOR - Extend use to Business Partners and customise

I am writing a high level technical design document on a new interface for my current client. We are currently in the scoping/blueprint phase.
We will be implementing CRM(?), ECC 6.0 and PI7.0
I have been tasked with writing/creating an outbound interface from CRM/ECC to send Business Partners from ECC to an external application via PI. Preferably using standard SAP functions/transactions!
Can I use the DEBCOR Idoc and customise/add the additional segments I require for the additional fields for this interface?
I was hoping to use BD12 (send Customers - Master Data Distribution) as well, but unfortunately, I do not have a sandpit/development system to use yet as we are still "blueprinting", therefore I am unable to test my assumptions before finalising the HTD document.
If DEBCOR cannot be used is there any logic in use the ADRMAS anc customising this?
I was hoping to use change pointers as well, but I guess once I have the Idoc configured, I can work out the distribution model in BD64..
Has anyone sent Business Partners from ECC and if so, what methods were used?

I am going to try and see if BusinessPartnerDataManagementBusinessPartnerEventOut.informBusinessPartnerAsBulk fits my requirements.

Roles and Object queries tab not visible in MBO attribute properties

Hi,
We have installed the SUP Personal developer edition 2.0 on a windows 2008 server. I am trying to create a sample application for getting the list of sales orders by using the SAP BAPI. Once I have the MBO in place, I see that I cannot view the 'Roles' and 'Object Queries' tabs in the 'Attributes' section of the MBO properties.
Does anyone know why this happens? Is it due to configuration issues? Do help me out as we're trying to get a demo working.

After setting up sender and receiver queries in RSBBS, how can we find out which query is sender and receiver query, If we know any query, can we know whether it is sender or receiver query. then, based on this can we find out sender query if it receiver query and can we find out the receiver query if it is sender query.

Error: Common entries are not permitted for plan queries and input queries

I have a 2 selections in the column struct:
1. year = 2005, version = actual
2. year = 2006, version = plan, marked as data can be changed using user entry or planning function
row has posting periods from 1-12
in the workbook I have inserted this query in the workbook in analysis grid. it runs good.
now i added a button and assigned planning function to it. this planning function copies 2005, actuals to 2006, plan.
when i execute the workbook and hit this button, it gives me following error:
"Common entries are not permitted for plan queries and input queries"
please can anyone provide me assistance with this issue.

I am a Tech. Architect on this new project. I would like to know how to differentiate between Simple, Medium and Complex Queries in BW because I need this info to work on the Estimates. Has this differentiation got anything to do with the Backend config also?

1) Queries that are based on multiple key figures--which may result in cell definition.
2) Queries with complex calculations.
3) Queries that are based on Variable Exits

a) if it is correlated subquery
A correlated subquery is one that depends on a value in the outer query. In programming terms, you pass the subroutine an argument, then the subroutine evaluates the query and returns a result. You move on to the next record and repeat the process. The

I am receiving an error message Quicktime failed to initialise error - 2096. to resolve i have been told to deselect checkboxes in compatibility tab but I have only general, sharing and customise tabs - what do i do next?

That sounds like you're right-clicking a folder and selecting "properties", Richard.
Try right-clicking on the QuickTimePlayer.exe file (located inside the C:\Program Files\QuickTime\ folder), as per the following screenshot:
... and then selecting "Properties".
Can you see your Compatibility tab now?

OS4 - Multitasking and Background PIC not working

Hello Guys - I have IPHONE 3G and yesterday I just upgrade the OS4 on it.. I can create folders, I can zoom in - out camera however for some reason I CAN NOT do Multitasking and background pic is not there. DON't know why.. Is there something I am missing ?? any Settings you can suggest or DO I have to Format and re-install it again ?

3G didn't get all the features. Original got none. Only 3GS and iPHone 4 gets multitasking.
You will also notice you cannot change wallpaper behind apps.

Is it possible at all to view undelrying Oracle PLSQL and SQL queries in a run time APEX 3.2 application?
More elaboratively, can a smart APEX Site user or visitor find a way to see underlying SQL queries and PLSQL code objects?

Hi,
If you just want to see what sql is executed by a session you can use sql trace. This can be switched on for a whole system but is usually more usable when switched on for individual users. The problem with a system like APEX is that database sessions are not directly associated with APEX users and APEX sessions can share database sessions.
I haven't tried it, but one method that may work is to put a schema logon trigger on the APEX_PUBLIC_USER which switches on tracing when ever this user logs on to the database. It may take a little detective work to understand the sequence of things but all the SQL executed by this user will be recorded and can be analyzed for performance etc. The command to enable SQL tracing could be embedded in the APEX app, but it may be a little random as to which db session has it enabled.
Perhaps a better tracing option could be seen as a feature request in a future version of APEX.

As in pl/sql block We can use return , in case of loop we can use exit, so what is to be use in case if sql script which contain set of blocks and sql queries.

Business Logic - Success of Tag and SQL Queries

Greetings All,
I have a Logic flow from an old NQL process.
The process Gets some SQL and Tag Data then checks to see if data was returned and notifies via email if data wasn't returned. So this would translate into the Tag and SQL Queries followed by a Logic Conditional block.
HERE's the questions:
In BLS, if the SQL and/or Tag Query fail, the entire process quits (at least when Executed locally) and never gets to the Logic Conditional block to verify the tagQuery.success or SQLQuery.success.
Is this what it does when run as a scheduled task also???
Is there any onError then do... type of parameter???
Any Suggestions would be appreciated...

Dennis, it shouldn't "quit". The Success property should be set to false, and the error caught (typically). Sounds like a bug.
