Music player stop while traveling (Lumia 535)

Hi,
I am new in this community. I bought lumia 535 last month. I am quite satisfied with it, no touch issue, no heating issue. It's a good product. But for last couple of days I am facing a new problem, when I am travelling my music player getting stopped frequently. At home it's working perfectly. Am I missing something or it's a bug. Please suggest.

Hi, alex777bobby & Sukhendu. Are you playing the music through a headset or the phone's speaker? If via headset, is it wired or a Bluetooth? @alex777bobby Are the songs saved on the SD card also? If yes, does it make any difference if you transfer it to the phone memory? We'll be waiting for your reply.

Nokia music player stopped working

I have a Nokia 5500 sport and I have recently put a 2 Gb micro SD card in it. Before I had a 1 Gb micro SD and everything worked just fine. But since I put in the bigger card the music player stopped working. It just closes and does not start up.
If I look up the music files in the phones exporer I can start the music from their but I cant enter the library from the music player. Whats wrong? I tried to remove the memory card and then it worked. Is a 2 Gb micro SD card too big for the phone?

Installed OS6, and the music player stops when opening the web browser...

I downloaded and installed OS6 on my iPhone 4 last Thursday. It seemed to be working fine, and then at the gym while listening to music, the player kept stopping whenever I opened Safari. When I got home, I backed up and reinstalled the operating system. It seemed to be fine, but then today, the same issue reappeared. Has anyone had issues with the music player crashing when opening Safari or other apps on OS6

Hmm, looks like launching iBooks shuts down any background audio. Once iBooks is running however you can switch apps, restart the audio and return to iBooks. Provided you don't open a multimedia book like the Beatles Yellow Submarine freebie then you can read without disrupting the audio playback.
I've tried choosing different titles in iBooks, or just the library, then quitting the app, running some audio and starting iBooks again. It repeatedly pauses audio even when iBooks doesn't have any immediate use for the audio channel. As long as you don't actively shut down the iBooks app however you can choose some music as background when you are reading.

Howdy. My Music player has stopped working, but regular sounds and iTunes samples still work?? Can anyone help.
Push the orange music button and the player opens, but when I push the play button nothing happens other than the pause icon comes up.
Both side volume and the onscreen volume read at full.

-restore ipod to latest ios if problems still happenes then it's a hardware problem nothing like a good old appointment at genuis bar would help.

Music player stopped working on 6085

It used to work just fine but now when I try to start the music player the darn thing freezes for a while then beeps then eventually....after a looong time goes back to the main screen. I have tried updating the firmware...it is now 5.03 and still does the same thing....ideas?

It could be corrupted data on the memory card that's causing this.
Does it behave in the same way if you remove the memory card?
If it works ok without the card you need to format the card and reload the music and try again.
If it still fails to work try a factory reset from the settings menu. If that fails then you will have to take it to a nokia care point for repair.

Nokia N96 music player stopped working?

I recently put some new music onto my n96 and then i went to play it on the music player but the music player won't work at all, i can't even open the albums,artists etc. I went to file manager and selected on of my tracks and opened it and it said unable to play file? It seems that my music player has dissappearred, can anyone help??

28days is your maximum for a replacement after that it's a repair. I know cause I've had the same problems spent over three days doing all the same things. just take it back & get your new one before it's too late.
I bought mine before christmas 18th Dec. took it back to Phones for you on sunday 31st. jan. we can only repair it.
even though it had never worked properly & i had proof of my emails to nokia the answer was still the same & that Phones for you should have been contacted not nokia as that was who i bought it off! now I'm without my phone for 2 weeks while nokia looks at it for me then i have to wait for Phones for u to get in touch to go pick it up.
Go change it if you have this problem.

[N95] Music player stopped adding mp3s

It just happened, I normally add mp3s via mass storage and then rescan collection.
Now I tried to delete "private" folder, reformatting memory card, but music player is not picking up music anymore.
I don't want to format it again - are there any other solutions?

Unfortunately, I've tried that. However I don't know how to acces phones "private" folder, it's just one if you use it via usb cable. Maybe bluetooth?
I did reformat phones memory - it is the only thing that helped (still it is not fun reinstalling everything - backups are not perfect).
And also I'm using it for work now, I cannot really afford reformatting and setting up frequently

Music Player Stopped Working

I use the simple Quicktime Music Player to play mp3 music on my website.
However, when I was prompted to update Quicktime, the music player quit working. I think I have messed up the MIME association.
How do I fix that?

Ovi music player stopped working after 2 weeks. Ca...

Dear all,
I have had the Nokia OVI player with comes with music feature working fine for two weeks now.
I am using a Windows 7 o/s.
All of a sudden when I try to open Ovi I am greeted with a blank screen sign in screen. All I can see is the Home icon, comes with music, sign in and join now options.
When I click on one of those buttons absolutely nothing happens.
I have tried reinstalling and reinstalling after deleting the MDataStore.db3 from the dataApps folder on my hard drive but still the same thing happens.
Please someone help! I feel cheated that I cannot download music when paying for this service.

I am having a similar issue. However I've had my airport express for over 3 years. Yesterday we had to reset the router as it wasn't broadcasting.
Today having same issue so we reset the router again. And now still blinking amber. When I go to the Airport Utility I can't even go to the Manual Setup as I'm getting the Error 4. Internet works fine as the router and modem are hooked up to my computer via Ethernet cable.
I did a factory reset and the AE is broadcasting again. but I can't get in to protect the network. And it's still blinking amber.
Any thoughts would be great.

N95 Music Player Freezes While Refreshing Music Li...

Hi,
My N95 Freezes when I select the option: Refresh Music Library. It just tells me how many it has found and it stays that way until I turn off and On the phone!
I tried removing the memory and putting it back in but still no luck. Its funny how when there is no memory card in, it refreshes it successfully! without freezing!
I have also tried deleting all media from my memory and copying them back in again.. yet.. not luck.
It wasnt like this until I updated my firmware to the latest one being: v 12.0.013.
Is there anything I can do to fix it? Is it normal?

No there is no way. The phone has priority over accessory functions. This is common knowledge to all that have these kinds of phones. If this is going to be an issue then get a dedicated media player without a phone. ALL devices do this, to include the iPhone.

Hi,
How do I specify a specific directory for the music player to find songs from? I don't want it finding my 10 second mp3 ringtones! They appear in the Track List even if I move them to the "Tones" folder.. Is there any way around it? My earlier 6233 had an option of specifying the directory.

After a long time, I managed to solve a problem like this in my e51. I believe that the e51 does not filter or ignore certain corrupted files or songs with unknown characters while scanning, so the music player just stops scanning on these occasions. The solution is to find these corrupted songs or with unrecognized characters and delete them, or even the entire album. But as I find them?
Connect your e51 via mass storage, open the folder x:\Private\100012A5 and copy the file with the extension. "Mpd" or DBS_101FE031_mcv5.mpd to your pc and open it with Notepad. At the end of the text along with other characters, you'll see which album or song that the music player stopped scanning. Now delete this folder or album with the music that is causing this outage.
Then you must delete the entire contents of the folder E:\Private\100012A5, where is located the information of the music library, so the music player will completely restart the scanning of sounds.

Lock Screen Music Player Issues

Here is the deal:
To the best of my knowledge, there is no solution (as of yet). I am hoping someone can guide me in the event there is.
I carry my iPhone in my front pocket like many people. I don't carry anything other than the phone in that pocket other than the headphones. Yet somehow, almost daily, the music player starts while the phone is in my pocket. If I manage to hear it, despite the surrounding noise and whether the headphones are plugged in, I can usually turn it off and save the battery. However, in many instances, I have pulled my phone out to find that the player has run the battery into the ground. After doing some general research, I have found that this significant problem is not limited to me.
Now I understand that generally, to activate the music player you have to press the home button twice and then tap play on the music player. However, day after day the player starts. I am certain that when the phone goes into the pocket, I press the button on top of the phone placing it in Sleep mode. Regardless of what I do - nothing seems to work and it is my understanding that there is no setting from Apple to disable the music player.
Therefore, I believe my options are limited to the following and hopefully someone can confirm my understanding or offer better solutions:
1.     I can remove every song from my IPhone. Without music, there is nothing to play. Granted it defeats one of the key features of my $600 device;
2.     I can jailbreak the iPhone and rely on the thoughtful functions created by third parties outside of Apple who have thought this process through; or
3.     I can buy a competitive device that is not simply a phone built around a media player.
Frankly, at the end of the day, how is this functionality not a safety hazard? If I am stranded somewhere with no phone battery because Apple decide not to give me an option to turn off the "lock screen" music player function - I would go so far as argue that this is Apple's own negligence. A "lock screen" by definition should LOCK THE SCREEN. This should not be a "lock screen" with certain Apple exceptions. At the very least, Apple should give the owner the ability to determine whether this information is accessible from the outside screen.
Even worse, assume that I have confidential business memos stored in the music player (this is where it stores them). What if my phone was found by a competitor who decided to listen to the memo that I have on my phone - based on the current function, there would be nothing to stop them? Or what if a child finds a phone and the music library contains explicit lyrics. Is there nothing to stop the child from accessing these. I cannot believe that the genuses at Apple did not have the foresight to think of these potential issues with the function - therefore, I believe that there must be a solution and I am not seeing it.
Can anyone help?

I do have a passcode - as I mentioned I am using a LOCK SCREEN which is the password protected screen. My point was that audio memos (like voice memos) are stored as audio files in the music player. They are accessible through the standard lock screen music controls on the iPhone. It makes no difference whether you have the screen locked/unlocked. To the best of my knowledge, there is no setting to turn off those controls which would be the ultimate solution to my problem.
I purposefully don't save such memos becuase I know that anyone can access them.
I am more concerned with the player turning itself on, daily.
