Must Have Functions

Conditional Counts - (either through DCOUNT/DCOUNTA/DAVERAGE or COUNTIF with support for multiple conditions).
Better Conditional Formatting - (format of one cell can be based on mutiple other cells).
Mathematic Functions with Different Formats - (Abillity to add/subtract/etc. Time (hh:mm:ss))
Pivot Table/Charts - (nuff said)
Correct Handling of Oracle/SQL Database Queries - (UNUSABLE Without)
...I'm sure more will come as I fail to redo more workbooks in Numbers from Excel.

It looks your return type was never really supported:

    Thank you Billy and Saubhik,
    I have followed your guidelines and was able to resolve this error. Now, after successfully compiling the code, I attempted to execute it in a following way.
    SELECT * FROM TABLE (cxs_generate_plsql_profiler);It gives following error: ORA-00904: "CXS_GENERATE_PLSQL_PROFILER": invalid identifier
    I also tried putting in quotes like below
    SELECT * FROM TABLE ('cxs_generate_plsql_profiler');Then, it gives following error:
    ORA-22905: cannot access rows from a non-nested table item
    Any Idea where I am doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    R

  • Error: A file found in a source-path must have the same package structure

    I use Adobe Flex Compiler (mxmlc) Version 4.1.0 build 16032,I have a file,named CustomGraphContainerController.as,it's directory is c:\controllers,and the GCController.as file is under the same directory,CustomGraphContainerController.as file like follows
    package controllers{
    import ui.GraphControlContainer;
    public class CustomGraphContainerController extends GCController {
      public function CustomGraphContainerController(a_graphControlContainer:GraphControlContainer) {
       super(a_graphControlContainer);
    Then I want to use mxmlc command to compile it,like follows:
    C:\>mxmlc c:\controllers\CustomGraphContainerController.as
    But it raise compile errors,like follows:
    Loading configuration file C:\sdk\frameworks\flex-config.xml
    C:\controllers\GCController.as: Error: A file found in a source-path must have the same package structure '', as the definition's package, 'controllers'.
    I don't know how to compile the as file with package controllers? Where is wrong? How to use mxmlc to compile it?
    Thanks

    HI,
         You should have one main application class to compile this as code to swf.. So that main application path should be in your proper package structure.. then you can compile you app and as files also...
    Thanks
    Ram..

    I am trying to have actionscript 3 and greensocks tweenlite change the alpha properties of another file on roll over.
    I can do it using just pure actionscript 3; however when I try to use Tweenlite I run in to this error:
    5007: An ActionScript file must have at least one externally visible definition
    The code I have used is:
    image = mc that has the rollover function added to it;
    info = mc that has it's alpha set to 0 and I am trying to get it to tween to 1 in 0.5 seconds.
    import com.greensock.*;
    import com.greensock.easing.*;
    image.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER, over);
    image.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT, out);
    function over(event:MouseEvent):void{
    TweenLite.to(info, 0.5, {alpha:1});
    function out(event:MouseEvent):void{
    TweenLite.to(info, 0.5, {alpha:0});
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks in advanced!

    Thanks Kglad =)

  • XML document must have a top level element. Error

    Hi, I am trying to generate an XML. Below is a sample code from my function. The function generates a 0 byte file which when I try to open gives me 'xml document must have a top level element' error. Any ideas?
    FUNCTION generateXml(    p_1      VARCHAR2,

  • Must have a valid X Window Session!?!?

    Hi!
    I recently discovered that if you're about to use the BufferedImage-functionality in the standard Java SDK (1.4.1) then you must have a running X-Window session which the SUN-classes connects to when your create your BufferedImage.
    Why is that?
    I'm running Java on our Linux-server and does not want to have an unecessary X-Window session running just to be able to create BufferedImages in memory.
    Have anyone else discovered this?
    /Charlie

    There are pseudo-X-servers to provide the minimal facilties to a java awt client.

  • Session State Protection - Arguments must have Checksum - Help Required

    Hi everyone,
    I am using apex 4.0 and have set:
    Session State Protection = True
    Page Access Protection = Arguments must have checksum
    Application Item Protection = Cecksum required - Session Level
    Page Data Entry Item Protection = Cecksum required - Session Level
    Page Display-Only Item Protection = Cecksum required - Session Level
    On pages which contain a Interactive report the calls to other pages to update and or delete a record passing the PK of the record work OK.
    I have set these as follows:
    In the Interactive report LInk Colomn --> Link Attribute = onclick="new top.Ext.apex.PopupWindow( { url: this.href, title: 'Edit Classification Details', width: 530, height: 500, listeners: {'success': gReport.search} } ).show(); return false;"
    Target = Page in this Application
    Page = 302Item = P302_IDCLASS
    Value = #IDCLASS#
    Page Checksum = - User Default -
    The problem is on the "Create new record" button which is located on the Interactive report page. I have defined the button as:
    Button Attributes = onclick="new top.Ext.apex.PopupWindow({ url:'f?p=&APP_ID.:302:&APP_SESSION.::NO:302::::', title: 'Create New Classification', width: 530, height: 500, listeners: {'success': gReport.search} }).show(); return false;"
    Action when button click = Redirect to Page in this Application
    Page = 302
    Clear Cache = 302
    When I click the button I get the following message:
    Session state protection violation: This may be caused by manual alteration of a URL containing a checksum or by using a link with an incorrect or missing checksum. If you are unsure what caused this error, please contact the application administrator for assistance.
    If I change the Button attributes to be:
    onclick="new top.Ext.apex.PopupWindow({ url:'f?p=&APP_ID.:302:&APP_SESSION.::NO:::::', title: 'Create New Classification', width: 530, height: 500, listeners: {'success': gReport.search} }).show(); return false;"
    It works OK, bu the page items are not clear.
    Could someone please explaing to me what am I doing wrong so I understand my mistake ?
    Thank you
    Daniel

    Here's an interesting situation. I have been having great results with the prepare_url function, until I needed to pass a column value from a report into a popup.
    Originally, in the Column Link --> URL in the Report Attributes I had this. This worked great when there was no session state protection enabled.
    javascript:popUp('f?p=&APP_ID.:17:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.:17:P17_EVENT_LOG_ID:#EVENT_LOG_ID#','450','375');When I enabled session state protection and changed the URL link to this
    javascript:popUp('&VW_EVENT_LOG.','450','375');and then created an application item and computation in order to pass a checksum along
    APEX_UTIL.PREPARE_URL (
      p_url => 'f?p=&APP_ID.:17:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.:17:P17_EVENT_LOG_ID:#EVENT_LOG_ID#',
      p_checksum_type => 3
    );the checksum seems to get passed fine, but the column value for the EVENT_LOG_ID is being concatenated to the end of the checksum instead of being passed as the value for P17_EVENT_LOG_ID. I also noticed that the clear cache page (17) looks like it is also being attached to the beginning of P17_.., but I'm not sure if that's to be expected or not.
    It took me a while to figure it out, but when I started looking at the error message closely, I could see that the checksum is identical except for the last two digits, which coincidentally are the same as the ID for this record.
    The checksum computed on the request, clear cache, argument names,
    and argument values (17P17_EVENT_LOG_ID [C6161B29B4C078F68DCF430133407754] ) did not match the checksum
    passed into the show procedure (C6161B29B4C078F68DCF43013340775490). Any thoughts on how to pass a column value with a checksum to a popup window?
    Thanks,
    Joe

  • Page Access Protection -Arguments Must Have checksum question

    If we want to call popup page that is defined as "Page Access Protection -Arguments Must Have checksum", then HTMLDB_UTIL.PREPARE_URL has to be called for every used URL-OK!
    <br><br>
    This calculation is easy to perform in "OnLoad-Before region" process, where some hidden varible is assigned as:
    :P_HIDDEN_VAR_URL:= HTMLDB_UTIL.PREPARE_URL('*f?p=&APP_ID.:2:&APP_SESSION.::NO::P_PROCESS:1');<br>
    and later used in call:
    javascript:popupURL('&P_HIDDEN_VAR_URL.');<br>
    AFAIK, this approach has a limitation if popup links are placed in table grid. If in grid link is defined as:
    <*a href="*javascript:popupURL('*f?p=&APP_ID.:2:&APP_SESSION.::NO:RP,2:P_PROCESS:#ID#')">#SOME_FIELD#</a><br>
    then no "HTMLDB_UTIL.PREPARE_URL" cannot be used, because every value depend on each grid row (ID field).
    <br><br>
    So is there a solution in such a cases to call popup page that have mentioned type of page access protection?
    <br>
    THX!

    See results below for call to prepare_url in SQL*Plus. It doesn't do anything, as you can see. The function can only generate a secure checksum (to be ultimately verified later within the application context) if it has some secret knowledge that is known only within the application context. So to expect it to work outside that context may be a requirement that conflicts with security aims.
    Is your requirement to use apex_mail.send from a job? Maybe you could generate the links with user-level checksums from within the application (for every possible user/argument value combination) and save them off in a table for retrieval by the mailer program. Just a thought.

    hello martin
    u have to use the save method for saving the contents
    in mehtod tabel u have to add method as save
    if ur  method internal table is it_method then
    it_method-method =  'save'.
    append it_method .
    and also in ur bapi code u have assigned wrong reference number
    reference number always should start from 1
    it_methods-refnumber  =  '0000001'
    not '0000000400123' which u have used for order number
    and after call of bapi u have to call
    bapi_transaction_commitn which u have used
    hope it solves ur problem

  • Notification activity's message must have a respond attribute name 'RESULT'

    I've created a basic approval notification using the WFSTD_APPROVAL lookup type of Approve or Reject. I have it routing so that if the document is rejected it directs to the "End" Function Activity and if the document is approved it continues on with the remaining workflow. I keep getting this error when trying to save or verify the workflow. "Notification activity's message must have a respond attribute name 'RESULT' with lookup type 'WFSTD_APPROVAL'" Can anyone please direct me as to how I would set this respond attribute or how can I get rid of the warning message?

    Hi,
    On the message (within Workflow Builder), click on the Result tab, and populate the details of the result type, display name (prompt) etc. there. This will need to match the result type of the notification.
    That should do it!
