Timestamp Parameters With Zero Scale Must Have a Precision of 13, 16, Or 19.

Hi Madhu  Provide full target table name for target under session properties - mapping - target table- target table name.suppose if schema is abc and table name is dbo.blr then given target table name = abc.dbo.blr It has worked for us and hopeful that it ll work for you too. RegardsNitish

Hi, I am getting the following error when I try to load data from Oracle to SQL.FnName: Execute -- [Informatica][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]Timestamp parameters with zero scale must have a precision of 13, 16, or 19. Parameter number: 4, precision: 999.

    Hello
    i made a working installation with active directory. the pc suite gets installed correctly.
    if a user plug in the mobile phone for the first time, all drivers are getting installed except the modem driver. it needs admin rights for the installation, but i cannot go to every user and login with my admin for this driver installation.
    is there any good solution , that the driver is getting installed, without login specially with an admin?

    Hi,
    Please check registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CoDeviceInstallers -> {4D36E96D-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
    There is text something like "NetCfgx.dll,ModemClassCoInstaller

    I found out that that registry entry was corrupted on my computer and that's why Windows did not find correct installation services.

  • RSA decryption Error: Data must start with zero

    Because of some reasons, I tried to use RSA as a block cipher to encrypt/decrypt a large file. When I debug my program, there some errors are shown as below:
    javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Data must start with zero
         at sun.security.rsa.RSAPadding.unpadV15(Unknown Source)
         at sun.security.rsa.RSAPadding.unpad(Unknown Source)

         at javax.crypto.Cipher.doFinal(Cipher.java:2299)
         at RSA.RRSSA.main(RRSSA.java:114)
    From breakpoint, I think the problem is the decrypt operation, and Cipher.doFinal() can not be operated correctly.
    I searched this problem from google, many people met the same problem with me, but most of them didn't got an answer.

    1) Why are you not closing the streams when writing the keys to the file?
    2) Each block of RSA encrypted data has size equal to the key modulus (in bytes). This means that for a key size of 1024 bits you need to read 128 bytes and not 64 bytes at a time when decrypting ( this is probably the cause of your 'Data must start with zero exception'). Since the input block size depends on the key modulus you cannot hard code this. Note - PKCS1 padding has at least 11 bytes of padding so on encrypting one can process a maximum of the key modulus in bytes less 11. Currently you have hard coded the encryption block at 64 bytes which is OK for your 1024 bits keys but will fail for keys of modulus less than about 936 bits.
    3) int size = dataFIS.available(); is not a reliable way to get the size of an input stream. If you check the Javadoc for InputStream.available() you will see that it returns the number of bytes that can be read without blocking and not the stream size.
    4) InputStream.read(byte[]) does not guarantee to read all the bytes and returns the number of bytes actually read. This means that your code to read the content of the file into an array may fail. Again check the Javadoc. To be safe you should used DataInputStream.readFully() to read a block of bytes.
    5) Reading the whole of the cleartext or ciphertext file into memory does not scale and with very large files you will run out of memory. There is no need to do this since you can use a "read a block, write the transformed block" approach.
    RSA is a very very very slow algorithm and it is not normal to encrypt the whole of a file using it. The standard approach is to perform the encryption of the file content using a symmetric algorithm such as AES using a random session key and use RSA to encrypt the session key. One then writes to the ciphertext file the RSA encrypted session key followed by the symmetric encrypted data. To make it more secure one should actually follow the extended procedure outlined in section 13.6 of Practical Cryptography by Ferguson and Schneier.

  • Calls with zero duration are sent with 1/1/1970 timestamp

    Hello.
    We are configuring billing on a third-party server for a hospitality projects.
    All is fine so far. However we saw that calls with zero duration (such as missed calls, busy tones etc) are tagged with a wrong timestamp of 1/1/70.
    Since we are passing this over to the hotel PMS, they are having trouble interpret it and often their interface crashes.
    Has someone encountered any similar issue?
    Our System version: 9.1.1.20000-5

    I only see the 1970 date in fields like Call Connection time. And for a missed/busy call, that's the best you can do as the call didn't connect, so the call can't have a connection time. Either the field has the 1970 date, or it has NULL in it. Either way, if your third party software can't cope with it, it's broken as this is all as per Cisco's spec.
    The use of the 1970 date is (OK, a time of zero) is clearly documented

  • Javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Data must start with zero

    Actually, I didn't write the entire codes, most of it was written by someone here, and I only tried to add a method. Here:
    public class RSAEncrypt {
        private KeyPair keys;
        private Cipher rsaCipher;
        public RSAEncrypt() throws GeneralSecurityException {
            KeyPairGenerator keygen = KeyPairGenerator.getInstance("RSA");
            keygen.initialize(512);
            keys = keygen.generateKeyPair();
            rsaCipher = Cipher.getInstance("RSA/ECB/PKCS1Padding");
        public byte[] encrypt(byte[] message) throws GeneralSecurityException {
            rsaCipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, keys.getPublic());
            return rsaCipher.doFinal(message);
        public byte[] decrypt(byte[] encryptedMessage) throws GeneralSecurityException {
             rsaCipher.init(Cipher.DECRYPT_MODE, keys.getPrivate());
             return rsaCipher.doFinal(encryptedMessage);
         * @param args
        public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
             String message = "The quick brown fox ran away";
             System.out.println("Message: " + message);
             byte[] encrypted = new RSAEncrypt().encrypt(message.getBytes());
            System.out.println("Cipher Text: " + HexBin.encode(encrypted));
            byte[] decrypted = new RSAEncrypt().decrypt(encrypted);
            System.out.println("Decrypted Text: " + decrypted);
    }The idea is that the program should encrypt the String, "The quick brown fox ran away," which it does. But when it gets to this line:
    byte[] decrypted = new RSAEncrypt().decrypt(encrypted);i get the error: javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Data must start with zero.
    But here's the funny thing: If I edit the codes so that the encryption and decryption are done in the constructor, it works! Here:
    public class RSAEncrypt {
        private KeyPair keys;
        private Cipher rsaCipher;
        public RSAEncrypt() throws GeneralSecurityException {
            KeyPairGenerator keygen = KeyPairGenerator.getInstance("RSA");
            keygen.initialize(512);
            keys = keygen.generateKeyPair();
            rsaCipher = Cipher.getInstance("RSA/ECB/PKCS1Padding");
            rsaCipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, keys.getPublic());
            String message = "The quick brown fox ran away";
            byte[] cipherText = rsaCipher.doFinal(message.getBytes());
            System.out.println(new BASE64Encoder().encode(cipherText));
            rsaCipher.init(Cipher.DECRYPT_MODE, keys.getPrivate());
            byte[] decryptedText = rsaCipher.doFinal(cipherText);
            String dText = new String(decryptedText);
            System.out.println(dText);
         * @param args
        public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
             new RSAEncrypt();
    }So, I'm confused. The Data must start with zero error is coming up when I pass encrypted data to a method for decryption, but it doesn't come out when I run everything in one method or in the constructor. Why???
    Also, when performing RSA encryption (or decryption) on a plaintext stored in a file (not a big file, just a file with probably one or two lines), this is what I do (and it works):
    Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("RSA/ECB/PKCS1Padding");
    cipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, pubKey);
    CipherInputStream cis = new CipherInputStream(new FileInputStream(new File("message.txt")),cipher);My question is, I do see some people doing this as well:
    cipher.doFinal(byteArray);The fact that I don't have this in my code when encrypting data from a file, that's ok, right? I don't need to do a ".doFinal()" method, do I?

    I don't quite understand, but if you mean this:

    Creates and instance of RSAEncrypt with a new random RSA key pair.

    System.out.println("Cipher Text: " + HexBin.encode(encrypted));
    RSAEncrypt rsaDecrypt = new RSAEncrypt();Creates and second instance of RSAEncrypt with a new random RSA key pair nothing to do with the first instance.
    byte[] decrypted = rsaDecrypt.decrypt(encrypted);Attempts to decrypt the ciphertext created with the public key of the first instance using the private key of the second, and totally unrelated, instance.
    System.out.println("Decrypted Text: " + decrypted);I still get the "Data must start with zero" error.
    If you could show me an example of what you mean, it would help very muchNo example is required. You cannot encrypt with the public key of one key pair and expect to decrypt with the private key of a totally independent key pair.

  • TS3354 "To play this movie in HD, you must have a PC with a built-in display or have it connected to a display that supports HDCP."

    I recently reinstalled restored my Toshiba laptop with Windows 8 to factory condition.  I reinstalled iTunes, and now when I try to play a movie, I get this error message:  "To play  (name of movie) you must have a PC with built-in display or have it connected to a display that has built in HDCP."  This happens with both my downloaded movies and my iCloud movies.  It never did this before.  Any suggestions?

    I have the exact same problem. I watched both AnchorMan 2 and The Hobbit Desolation of Smaug a week ago on my set up. BenQ monitor ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series Video card. No issues. Then I reformat and all of a sudden my purchased movies give me that error. It's so frustrating.
    The odd part is for the Hobbit the itunes extras will start just like before, however I can't select a scene.
    How is there no response to this? Are we missing something obivous? A default setting? Driver?
    Help please!

  • Message: To play this movie in HD, you must have a computer with a built-in display ...

    I rarely use iTunes, prefer, for obvious reasons to own physical media (which is prompting this question). But I do have an iPad 4 so I have to use it.
    I bought a movie on iTunes and have downloaded it to a new brand new Windows 8 laptop. I am getting a message "To play this movie in HD, you must have a computer with a built-in display or have it connected to a display that supports HDCP."
    My laptop is running a display at 1366 x 768 resolution and it is hooked up to a separate monitor using the HDMI out to the DVI input. Why am I getting this message and what is the workaround? I don't think that it's right that I have to re-buy the movie in standard definition to to watch it.
    Also, as I have a 16 GB iPad, I typically don't have space available to store a 4GB movie but if I download the movie to my laptop and connect my iPad to my laptop, if I free up space will I be able to watch the movie on my iPad 4?
    You can probably tell I'm not a fan of iTunes. Why does Apple insist on making everything so difficult? The iPad 4 with Retnia Display is the only Apple product I own and previously I have played this movie on my iPad.

    You will need to restore the iPad using Recovery Mode. Since you are using a computer that you have never synced with in the past, you will have to erase the device and will lose all content. You will be able to download your purchased content as long as you use the same Apple ID that you bought the content with in the first place - as long as the content is still available and the downloading of past purchases is available in your country.

    I have created an 100 page booklet in Pages, with many photographs, and much written word, can I export it to ePub, and make an electronic book, because it says that "Note: The Pages document must have been created using a word processing template"?....
    Basically what I want to do is publish the document into both an eDocument, and a hard copy document. What is the best way to do this?

    No Peter, this statement came right off the Apple ePub statement when outlining how to use ePub. the full context is:

    ePub is an open ebook standard produced by the International Digital Publishing Forum. Pages ’09 lets you export your documents in ePub format for reading with iBooks on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
    iBooks supports both ePub and PDF file formats, and you can export both from Pages.
    When to use ePub or PDF
    Use ePub when text is the most important part of your document, for example when you create a book, a report, a paper, a thesis, or classroom reading material.

    Creating an ePub Document to Read in iBooks
    You can export any Pages word processing document to the ePub file format for reading in an ePub reader, such as the iBooks application on the iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. Documents created in page layout templates can’t be exported to the ePub format.
    Documents exported to ePub format will look different than their Pages counterparts. If you want to get the best document fidelity between the Pages and ePub formats, style your Pages document with paragraph styles and other formatting attributes allowed in an ePub file. A sample document is provided on the Apple Support site that features styles and guidelines to help you create a Pages document that’s optimized for export to the ePub file format, which you can use as a template or a guide. To learn more about using paragraph styles in Pages, see the topics under the heading “Working with Styles” in the Pages built-in help.
    To read your ePub document in iBooks on your mobile device, you must transfer the ePub file that you create onto your device.
    To use the “ePub Best Practices” sample documentTo learn more about using the ePub format and get a better feel for how a Pages document might appear as a book in iBooks, it’s a good idea to download the “ePub Best Practices” sample document. After reading the guidelines and instructions within the document, you can use it as a template to create your own document. You can also import the styles from the sample document into a new document you create.
    Download the “ePub Best Practices” sample document at the following web address:
    http://images.apple.com/support/pages/docs/ePub_Best_Practices_EN.zip
    Do either of the following:Use the sample document as a template.Import the paragraph styles from the sample document into a new or existing Pages document.
    Export the document you create to ePub format to see how it looks in iBooks.
    Preparing an existing Pages document for export to ePub format
    Documents exported to the ePub format automatically appear with page breaks before every chapter. A table of contents is automatically generated, which allows readers to jump quickly to any chapter title, heading, or subheading in the book. In order to create a meaningful table of contents, it’s important to apply appropriate styles within your document. The ePub reader uses the paragraph styles to determine which items should appear in the table of contents for your book.
    Note: The Pages document must have been created using a word processing template.

    Loading additional entity dimension members to essbase outline using load rule. Previously, the dimensions were loaded manually. File Layout includes Parent|Child|Alias|UDA|and some other Properties. Tested this in a QA enviornment successfully. All the new entities added and added to hierarchy. Since it ran successfully in QA, decided to run in PROD, and ran the load rule. The following error message was dumped into the .err file.
    \\Level 0 virtual members must have a formula associated with them
    The Parents of the Level 0 members were not in the outline, the same in QA. In QA, the new level 0 children's parents were added to the outline as they did not exist prior to running the load rule. When the load rule was executed, all of the new entities and parents were added correctly to QA. Expected same to occur in PROD. The outlines for QA and PROD were close to same, but were probably not exact.
    Have seen posts regarding this issue for planning applications, but did not see for Essbase only. Would greatly appreciate assistance with resolving this issue.

    You can check following :
    1. If you are using Essbase, check the level 0 members have a formula associated to them if the data storage property is marked as "Dynamic Calc".
    2. If you are using planning, then make sure you do not ahve HSP_UDF as UDA attached to member in planning.

    Do you get an error message? If so, what does it say?
    Do you get a Blue Screen?
    Does something else happen?

    Sell the German iTunes card to someone who can use it in the German
    AppStore and use the money to buy a card for the Hong Kong store.
    iTunes cards are only valid in the country of original purchase. You cannot
    use a German card in Hong Kong.
