I`d like to create a PDF document with a few pages in it, build from different PDF-forms using many form-function calls. Where each PDF-form can use its own interface.
I`ve made a simple programme, but as the result I have a few separated documents with scrolling tab instead of one document with all pages in it.
What am I doing wrong?

Sorry, but making single PDF from many smartforms is not what I want to achieve. I wold like to know how to get one PDF document made by ALC-forms.
In my example I have many PDF documents. So, how to get (or put) them all in one PDF?

I'm running a machine with Windows 7, Office 2010, and Acrobat XI. When I save a specific PDF as an Excel workbook, all of the data in the original PDF is sorted correctly in four columns. When the same task is performed on this file on another user's machine, all of the data is sorted into one column. The user has the same versions of Windows, Office, and Acrobat. I've attempted the "Repair installation" option but the problem persists. Any suggestions? Thanks again for helping,

Thanks for the quick reply. I figured out how to get the desired results by using tagging. For anyone who may reference this post in the future, I went to "Customize" in the top right corner of Adobe, then selected "Create new tool set...", looked under "accessiblity and found the "tag" option. Hit ok, tag is added to the toolbar. Then I highlighted the dataset in the PDF that was relevant to the output format, then clicked "tag", saved as spreadsheet. Sorry I can't provide more details on how tagging works or if there's a more elegant solution available, but I'm sure one's out there.

Formula help...again. Data compiling into one sheet

I've posted something similar before, but it was just different enough I can't figure this one out .... what I'm looking for it to be able to take info from numerous sheets or tabs, and have them show on a separate sheet, that I can then import into quickbooks.
here is a link to the dumbed down file. The help is with how to right the formula to take all work done on all sheets and put it into ONE table. Quickbooks has an import feature where I can copy a whole sheet and paste directly into OB and not have to enter hundreds of transactions each month.
So if there is data entered within a specified date range, then all those entries appear on the new sheet that will be my QB import sheet. There is a specific table that has to be followed in order for OB to recognize my entries.

A table on a new sheet can "pull" relevant data from tables on other sheets with functions such as SUMIF, LOOKUP and other functions. Perhaps it would work best if those other sheets do some data processing (creating summaries?) first.

Open mutiple PDF report outputs with one button click

I need to open multiple PDF outputs depending on check boxes on the front end (Asp.net C#) app connecting to Crystal report server XI. Here is my code. I'm able to open only one PDF not multiple. If I use Response.end() at the end except first nothing is displayed. If I remove response.end() it opens Adobe and displays error msg saying file is corrupted. Please let me know if there is any other way to display multiple PDF outputs

Business Objects will create one PDF from one report. Once the report object has been formatted as a PDF it is no longer handled by Business Objects but uses the functionality of Adobe.
If they were being saved as .pdf files, would there be a way to open more than one at a time?

“AdbeRdr11003_en_US.exe” is the download installed on our CEO’s new Windows 8 laptop. It is a Dell XPS Re: Windows 8 Adobe Reader will not fully open a pdf compiled with several pdf's into one - why? Dell XPS 13" . It has a full install Windows 8 Professional for its’ Operating System.
I’ll attempt to attach the file in question. The file opens fine on our Windows 7, and XP computers (with the proper Adobe Reader on each).
Our CEO says there is a message that comes up saying he needs Adobe Flash. I’m attempting to find out whether or not he is trying to open it the ‘Metro’ view, or the ‘Desktop’ view – no answer yet.
If your system strips the attachment, let me know, and I’ll upload the file to an ftp site {if necessary}.

A user will have the application open on their machine. The application scans relevant folders looking for the documents, and when it finds all the ones it needs it needs to open them and compuile them into one PDF. They are Hyperion reports. The human --> Acrobat needs to go, as the trigger is the files being present.
It is a windows form application in C# that will sit in the tray, just doing what it needs to when it needs to.
Not on a server, as one employee needs to check when done and scan for a sense check on the compiled report.

I am working on my MS thesis and need to combine two documents into one PDF file for electronic submission. The two files are formatted with software that compiles the reference page and if combined in word will reformat the reference pages into one (I need them to be separate). To add page number you can use Adobe Acrobat XI Pro that can be downloaded from www.adobe.com for Trial version.
How to add page numbers in PDF files:
1. Open your PDF file in Acrobat
2. Select "Tools" from right panel
3. Select "Pages" tab
4. Select "Header & Footter" then click "Header & Footer"
5. Click "Insert Page Number"

How do I scan multiple pages into one pdf document on a HP Envy 4501 Printer

My HP Envy 4501 Printer won't let me scan multiple pages into one pdf document.
I went to "Advanced Settings", clicked on "file" and made sure that the check box next to "Create a separate file for each scanner page" was unchecked.
When I clicked the Save button it showed the page that I scanned and showed 1/1. On the right side it had options for changing the brightness and Contrast, Rotate and Crop and "Back", "Save" and "Done" buttons, but nothing about scanning another page.
Not to mention HP's Customer Support is useless!
I'd appreciate any help I can get with this problem.

I see your diagram. I just scanned something. The screen that I'm looking at right now shows the preview page and the scroll box to the left of that just like in your diagram. The screen does not show the + button nor does it show the red x button under the scroll box as in your diagram. I can't see the plus sign because it is not there.
I tried re-installing the software and drivers as you suggested but that did not have any affect.
Thank you for trying to help me with this problem but it hasn't worked, therefore I can't mark the reply "Accept as Solution".
I've noticed that on HP's support forum web page there is only 1 solved request for assistance. That doesn't give me much confidence in HP.
Please reply back to this post to let me know if there is anything else that I can try or if you know someone else at HP that can help.
If I don't here back from you, I'm returning this HP Envy 4501 Printer to get my money back to use it to buy a printer from one of HP's competitors.

You can download the trial version (http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html) to convert the PDF back to WORD if you do not have the original. The conversion may not be perfect, but it is typically better than starting from scratch. You may be lucky and get a good result. You might check the settings (in the save screen) to try retain format versus retain text flow. The format version can be a pain to edit since it creates a bunch of text boxes. The flow version may require you to reformat in WORD, but you likely would want to do that anyway.

As TSN has indicated we have no idea what program you are using, other than you posted in the Acrobat forum. In Acrobat you go to File > Create > Combine (varies with version of Acrobat). You can also open one and then use the pages>Insert to add the others.
