MuVo2 FM problems... gettin frustrated with

well i've had my?muvo 2 fm (5.0?gb)?mp3 player for over a year nowit has buggered itself up already but i downloaded some firmware software for it and it began to work fine up until it started freezing and then deleting music... now it wont hold more that about 50 songs, roughly 500mb. also another problem i have is it wont start at all... right now it is next to me, the lcd screen lit up, the display says "MuVo2 FM"...it has frozen, and the light wont turn off.... my $200 mp3 player has turned into a useless night light... i've tried removing the battery and re-inserting it, then trying to get to the recovery mode but all attempts are futile... so, is there anything i can do to have this problem solved... i dont want to have to sell it, wouldnt sell due to the fact its broken, and i cant be bothered buyin another product coz i got better things to spend my money on...sorry if i seem rather angry and frustrated, its just im over the whole "broken and needing fixing" thing about this mp3 playerplease help me if you can?p.s... i've tried to connect my player to the computer with the usb cable but the computer doesnt recognise it, and the mp3 player does nothing... so im outta ideasMessage Edited by schnoza_muvo on -6-20060:44 PM

farout man, i have the exact same problem. you turn it on then the blue screen lites up and stays frozen on the 'MuVo2 FM' and doesnt do anything after that. if anyone can help please tell me what to do or send me a message. thanks.

  • Help - lots of problems - very frustrated with PRE7

    I've been working on a project for some time with much difficulty and once I solve one problem another comes up and different problems occur each time I work with the video. Here's where I'm at - any and all help would be EXTREMELY helpful.
    - Virtual Memory - I get message often that it's low. I incresed my page file to 3048. I have all of the files on my external hard disc (200GB with 50GB free) and the actual PRE file on my computer (100GB with 24Gb free). The video is 30minutes long (when i try to burn to DVD it's 1.84GB, to .flv 70MB and to Mpeg 1318MB). The video is made up of still images, video, and music. I've already resized all images to 1000x750 and made sure all video is DV-AVI.
    - Errors - I get all sorts of error messages. Some times the porject won't load and it's says PRE has to close. When I'm able to get the program to open I've successfully rendered it and saved it. But when I try to burn to DVD I've gotten transcode error at 5% or I get a message saying "The exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application at location 0x78138aa0. Click on OK to terminate the program." Or it just freezes and does nothing.
    - when trying to make it a .flv or .mpeg I get a message saying failed to return a video frame - cancelling operation.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?? One idea is I have Premiere CS3 and I thuoght of putting the movie in there but then the whole thing appears as a sequence that I can't edit. Is there a way of editing it once converting it to Premiere or do I have to rebuild the whole thing? I'm so frustrated at this point and feel that I get different messages each time and after trying to troubleshoot this on my own for the past week I just can't figure it out.

    This error/error type is very often caused by a memory error, and most often with either the Page File, or by some program not reporting memory usage properly to the OS. That is why full disclosure on your Virtual Memory setup is critical. Also, what programs are also running, and what Processes are loaded? Task Manager>Processes will tell you. You likely have some loaded Process that is acting up. Also, when you get a crash, immediately open Event Viewer. Look in System and Application tabs. Open ALL yellow warning messages, and ALL red error messages. Follow all links provided. Some might give you a clue as to what is happening and why. Some will just be obscure code and of no use. Do not get frustrated if most are just code. Look for the ones with real info and also links - follow those links and read.

    - when trying to make it a .flv or .mpeg I get a message saying failed to return a video frame - cancelling operation.
    This is a common error when one has any gap in the Video Timeline. Zoom in to the frame-level in horizontal scale. set through the Clips, looking for any gap. If you get this message, note the % of Export/Transcoding. PE has a two-pass encoder, so you may have to do the math to really get you close to the spot, i.e. 50% of the operation is pass 1 of 100% of the Timeline. If you get it with say 98%, then you do know that it's happening near the end of your project, so the math aspect is diminished a bit. Sometimes gaps will Encode fine, other times a 1-frame gap will bring a Project to its knees.

  • Zip code Problem (or Frustrated with iTunes "Support")

    I have been having a new problem (with an old credit card) on iTunes, where I get the repetitive error that the zip code I've entered does not match the one the bank has for the card.  I have ensured that the zip code is correct and checked the bank zip code to make sure that that was done.  I have made many, many iTunes purchases with this card, and not had a problem with the zip code previously, and I have not moved or changed the zip code since the last time I tried to make an iTunes purchase.  It's not like the zip code would change itself.  But I checked to make sure, anyway.  I also contacted my bank to ensure there wasn't a hold on that particular card.
    This I did before I contacted itunes support.  An email to iTunes support explaining the above and specifically stating that the zip code in itunes for that card is correct, and 2 days later, I get a reply instructing me on how to change the zip code for the card in iTunes.  I wonder if Apple has any idea how condescending that comes across.  Who would waste their time with tech support for an error like that if their zip code was incorrect?
    Now, I've recieved 2 more emails on the same track, basically telling me to fix the zip code.  I am 100% sure that the zip code in iTunes is correct.  I tried to tell the tech "support" person (Johan) this, but he has essentially only told me repeatedly how to fix the zip code on iTunes.  (Again, Apple, if you're reading this, that is really rude and condescending, assuming your users are THAT stupid).
    Has anybody ever had this error before, and does anybody have a fix for it?

    Since you are seeing the same dialog repeatedly, try this.
    Launch iTunes on your Mac.
    From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
    Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache
    Click OK
    Restart your Mac, launch iTunes. See if you can download a free app. Regardless of whether or not it's free or purchased, you'll still see the login window.

  • I'm frustrated with the bookmarks. I so long to be able to right click on any bookmark and choose to have them in alphabet order. Would also like for the little icons to go away. Never been able to figure out how to do this the MAC way. Help.

    I am frustrated with the Bookmarks. I want so much to be able to right click and alphabetize the list. It's been a year and I can get my mind around the process that's there. Also I'd love for those pesky little icons to disappear. Help me please.

    After the release of Firefox 29, several people noticed that after using the Customize feature, most items on the right-click menu for the Bookmarks menu on the menu bar became ''grayed out'' and unusable until you closed and started Firefox back up again. That seems to still be a problem for me in Firefox 36.0.4, so if you used Customize, that could be the explanation.
    You still should be able to click and drag bookmarks around the menu even with the broken right-click context menu.
    And if it's easier than restarting, the context menu still works in the Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+b to open/close) and Library dialog (Ctrl+Shift+b or "Show All Bookmarks").

    I did get it working finally...and your last advice was what I needed.
    I am embarassed that I was an early adopter...SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER and read the problems before creating some for myself.
    This was an excercise in frustration, because of the obtuse division between the appstore and Apple Support downloads... it was a bit of a circuitous route...strange that with all the security reciepts and tracking that Apple goes to to prevent piracy... which Steve by his own admission used to build Apple...
    Why aren't the server scripts smart enough to say…”HEY DUMMY you can't use this download because you purchased the last iPhoto upgrade from the appstore...and… DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME and precious data BUDGET downloading this gargantuan file which will eat 20% of your expensive 5Gb monthly data allotment!!!…and NOT WORK…only pretend to…and then foul your system….kill your productivity and turn your hair whiter…even worse than LION did.
    I am just so antagonized by the inept scripts in recent installations that don't do a diagnostic before allowing installation that is going to corrupt things...I had less effort and frustration when I ran my ATARI with a MAC emulator...rarely lost any productivity to nonsense.
    I AM TIRED OF BETAs dressed as products...designed and rushed out for Apple toys that once were tools of the creative trade...COREL...may still have a chance at a comeback if Apple keeps pumping out toys instead of the venerable tools we once adored as income enhancers.

  • Frustrated with lack of help!

    I up graded my phone to an iphone 5c.  I received it yesterday and call the 800# to activate my phone.  During the phone call I was transferred to customer service because my phone was unable to activated.  I was on hold for 30 mins and the customer service rep told me there was nothing she could do manually I would have to call the 800#.  I did this 3 times, each time told the same thing!   Finally the 4th time I told the rep I needed to speak to a manager and he informed me the manager wasn't available and to call tech support.  So my 5th phone call to Verizon I spoke to a girl in tech support who was able to tell why my phone wasn't unable to be activated.  the SIM card that was preinstalled was never registered and I would have to go to a Verizon store to get one.  Here's my problem again, I leave in a rural western pa.  I called my local store and they told me I would have to buy a SIM card because they are not a corporate store!  The closets corporate store is 1 hour away.  I am so frustrated with verizons lack of system checks that I just want to send the phone back!!  I have never had this many problems with Verizon and I have been a customer for 15 years.

    Verizon can mail you a Sim for free. No travel time to a corporate store.

    Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
    Does the iOS device see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iOS device connect OK before?
    Try the following to rule out a software problem:                 
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
    .- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network

    Is anyone else totally frustrated with an inability to save or print PDFs using Safari 6.0.3?  I'm tired of opening a PDF in Safari to see if it's something I want to print, and then having to reopen the same PDF in Firefox or another browser to print it and to save it.  It's been like this now for several months.

  • Frustrated with iCal 3--please fix the obvious bugs!

    I read that Apple actually looks at these posts, otherwise I would suffer in silence. So here goes...
    After adopting iCal for all of my calendar needs and being able to rely on version 2 to work, I upgraded to Leopard and iCal 3. Now, I am frustrated with obvious bugs and very worried about the integrity of my calendar data (which is EXTREMELY important).
    Some things that do not work or seem to work sporadically in iCal 3:
    1. Delete events/to-do's after n days. Nothing. And why is this option applied globally rather than to specific calendars?
    2. Publish calendars upon modification. Usually works; sometimes quits for no apparent reason.
    3. Reliable syncing (OK, maybe this is an iSync problem).
    Other frustrations:
    1. Very slow operation. Slow to create event, slow to edit event, slow to even change from month to month.
    2. Very slow or even crashes when I double-click on an event.
    3. I seem to need to double-click after I enter an event to fill in all the info I want.
    4. No easy way to archive (and restore) old events.
    Please, Apple, do not lose your focus on software excellence, as you pursue lucrative new markets! Your recent software releases (like iCal, iSync, AirDisk, TimeMachine, etc.) are beginning to remind me of, gasp, Microsoft. They almost work.
    Excuse me for venting on this forum.

    I have all of the same issues Jeff. What gives?? This needs immediate fix.

    I know this is so simple but I can't get it to work. what I want is to have a plain background color with either a picture over that is faint or a pattern that is lighter these are not the focal points then i want to add a few photos but would like to feather or rough up the edges so they don;t ;look like i just dropped them in and maybe a some other graphic like an animal or flames etc. and some text. please any help would be great. thank you in advance. Susan

    Since you mention being frustrated with layers, I assume you are having problems getting several images into the same document.

    Personally, I prefer using a solid color fill adjustment layer as the base in the clipping mask. (You'll find this option in the layer's palette under the black and white icon. It'll be one of the options in the menu list.) Drag out the rectangular marquee in the mask of the solid color fill adjustment layer.  With the mask layer selected in the layers palette, fill it with black paint. Invert the mask (ctrl + I on PC; cmd + I if on a mac). You can use the free transform command (Ctrl + T on PC; Cmd + I on Mac) to resize the masked area.
    Some edge techniques...
    If you desire to soften the edge, apply the gaussian blur filter. If you want a spattered edge, apply the spatter or sprayed edges filter to the mask...can also try using other filters that work in grayscale which will be the only ones not grayed out. (Note: You could apply the filter(s) to the rectangle first then invert the mask if you prefer). Another method is to use the brush tool and paint in the mask...thick heavy brush set is a good choice. (Note: Use black paint to hide (the image); white paint to reveal (the image); and gray will be semi-transparent (think feathering).
    Edit: You don't have to use the rectangular marquee...can use circular or any selection for that matter.

    You'll most likely want to have your type in the topmost layer(s) of the stack in the layers palette so you don't cover them up with your images. Use move tool to move graphics and type into desired location. You'll find using the grids and/or guides useful in planning out your image.

  • Frustrated with all of it!! Music, Word, checking out.....

    I have had this Mac for not even a year. Laptop Macbook 10.5.5. I pushed and pushed my husband to let me get this because I heard and THOUGHT it was the best system out there. Simple to use, solid system, better than anything on the market.
    Ok, I have been NOTHING but frustrated since I got it. I realize that it takes a while to get used to something new like a Mac when you're used to using a PC all the time. However, this whole thing has gone on for almost a year and I'm about ready to just sell it and go back to what I'm accustomed to.
    For one...when I used Word, which I bought special software at Best Buy to be able to integrate my PC work at my office with my Mac, I get error messages constantly, right when I'm in the middle of something, that tells me that Word has encountered a problem and needs to close. Then, it shuts down my whole Word doc without saving any of my work (!!!!!!) and has to restart. Says something about a kernal trap error when I click for specifics.
    Second, I can't check out with sites like Wal Mart or Wal Greens when working on photo projects. Will just sit there saying "auto saving project" and will not allow the radio buttons to work for Check Out. This happens when using both Safari and Firefox. ???? Also, I can't upload pics to Craigslist or ebay. Nice. It just sits there, frozen when I try.
    I want to be able to share music....just installed LimeWire. When I open it, within seconds, it says that it needs to close and relaunch for some unknown reason.
    When I'm working in Excel, it constantly won't let me tab between fields and when I try to "insist" by tabbing, it shuts down.
    I'm sure there are tons more issues that I'm not thinking of right now.....oh, yeah, when I'm trying to burn disks with pics or music, it tells me to insert a new disk, I do (brand new out of the box) it spits it back out and tells me that it's not a blank disk. Oh and if it's a CD-RW, it won't show me how to "erase" whatever NON file is one there. GRRRRR
    I am seriously beyond frustrated with this. I paid a lot of money for this contraption and I can't even use it. I don't know if I can get some "free" help at a MacStore considering this thing isn't even a year old.

    Are you doing any maintenance? First one to learn is how to repair permissions:
    Run Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities) and Repair Disk Permissions BEFORE and AFTER every software update. Launch Disk Utility. Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select FirstAid, then click: Repair Disk Permissions. Quit DU when it's finished and reboot. That will help keep your Macs happy!
    Make sure the hard disk doesn't have any errors:
    To check the hard disk:
    Open Disk Utility, in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.
    Insert your Mac OS X Install disc in your computer’s optical drive or an optical drive connected to your computer, and then restart your computer. When you hear the startup tone, hold down the C key until you see the progress indicator, which looks like a spinning gear.
    Follow the onscreen instructions until the menu bar appears with the Utilities menu in it, choose Utilities > Disk Utility, click First Aid, and then click the Verify button. If DU reports errors, click Repair. When it's finished, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Disk. In the Startup Disk window select MacintoshHD 10.x.x and click Restart.

  • Completely frustrated with downloan not working and deleting and attempting to reinstall resulting in three different accounts on my computer and none working.

    I downloaded Firefox mobile to my Droid. Connected to computer and followed instructions, using code provided on phone. Did not work. I tried to re-sync phone. It didn't work. I deleted Firefox on phone and reinstalled app. The connected phone to computer to re-sync. Could not get anything to work using"I have an account" tab so opened up another sync account. It didn't work. I deleted app again and tried again and used a third sync account to sync phone with computer. I got nowhere. Completely frustrated with three sync accounts and none working.
    Need help to delete all accounts and start over. Can't seem to find a way to do this.

    I tried this (opening in Photoshop CS5 and resaving as jpg) as you mention:
    The remedy to this problem has usually been to open the image (the one that is having an identity crisis) in Photoshop or another image editor, and simply resave it. You don't need to edit it or rename it or anything--just open and resave.
    Re-imported and it does work fix (I get picture1 and picture2 instead of  just picture1 for all pictures).
    Having said that, I looked at all the file properties I could for:
    picture1.jpg (original)
    picture1.jpg (resaved in CS5)
    To see what changed. All are properties are identical (color depth, pixel size, etc.) except that resaved image is ~20% larger (I saved max file size jpg in CS5).
    So original is ~6MB
    resaved jpg is ~8MB
    So the question - why can't CS5 premiere import these directly (with resaving?) and what is working with the resave that locks up the first time?
    These pictures are straight from a Canon 50D, with no editing or resaving - dumped off camera to computer.  I can reproduce this error 100% of the time (new project, new folder, import 2 pics) so it isn't something goofy with the way I'm importing - 100% how premiere is handling this.
    Very disappointed that I now need to open/resave/rerender each of ~1100 images to simply use them.  Given that these jpgs are being produced by a mainstream camera with support image format.
    Any thoughts?

  • Becoming frustrated with Aperture 3

    For the last month I have been using Aperture 3. I love all the new feature and I want it to work. I have own Aperture since version 1.5 and the story has always been the same. I use it for a while until I become very frustrated with its poor performance.
    When Aperture 1.5 came out I purchased a MAc PRo with all the bells and whistles just so I could run Aperture 1.5, after a few month I became very frustrated because its poor performance and I was forced to move to Lightroom 1.
    When Aperture 2 came out I was very excited thinking that Apple would finally figure out how to get Ap performance right. Once again, after a few month I was forced to switch back to LR 2.
    Aperture 3 finally came out and it seemed to be a dream come true. Its feature sets rock, but once again, after one month I may be forced to switch back to LR 2.
    What's more frustrating is hearing how many are running Aperture 3 with good (or at least acceptable) performance.
    This post is my last hope, my last attempt to Aperture sanity. Any suggestion about what may be going on is very welcome.
    I am running a MAC PRO 2 x2.66Ghz Dual-Core Intel Xenon with 11GB of memory. Aperture library and images (referenced) are in a RAID system (same place). The video card is an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT. I am running Aperture 3.01 on Snow Leopard 10.6.2 with all the updated installed.
    Ap3 is running so slow at times that going from image to image after adjusting one it may take up to 5 seconds (enough for the beach ball to show up). AT times it even slow down the system. Forget about working on 100% zoom with any of the brushes.
    I just can't buy a new MAC PRO with every new version of Aperture, and, last time I did that it didn't make a difference, anyway.
    HELP! Before I give up.

    I agree with you that slow can be relative.
    I am a working professional and I need my equipment to support me and not get on my way. When I say slow is because I compared to my previous workflow, how much it takes me and the software to do basic, global adjustment... WB, Exposure, Black point, Contrast, definition, white recovery, and then go to the next image. I am not eve talking about brushes or sharpening. I know how long it took me using LR 2 and to that I am compare how long it takes me in Ap 3. I can tell you right now that the only thing that kept me yesterday working on Ap 3 is that I truly believe its RAW conversion is better than LR 2or LR 3 because the slowness is unbearable at times.
    And I say at times, because there are times that Ap 3 works just fine.
    Having a Hardware issue has cross my mind.
    The same HD that has the Ap 3 Library and images is the same on I use for LR 2. Yet, LR 2 does not have those issues. But I'll try the defrag suggestion.
    As far as a bad image, this is a brand new library and not a converted one. I created it from scratch. But again, I will try anything. Not sure how can look for a bad image, but what I can do is create two new library, one in my current working HD and one in another HD. I will first import a new project and see what happens. Then, I will export a project from my working library and import it. Let see what happens. I may defrag any way, but that may help diagnose if that is the issue or not, or if I have problems with the raid.
    One of the things that bother me is the inconsistency of experiences. I agree with you that for some it zip even in similar systems. For other the experience has been frustrating. That is weird beyond reason! Hopefully the more we keep doing this the more likely that we can get to the root.

  • Frustrated with Verizon and their inconsistent Customer Service

    I am so frustrated with Verizon and their Customer Care/Service.  I have never been told so many different things.  It seems that there is no consistency with what they tell customers.  I called and explained to them that I have been with them for over 20 years that we were looking to save on our monthly bill. They said that with my employee discount, and they checked to see if I qualified for other discounts, I didn't and they lady could have cared less to help.   My Verizon/employee discount is changing (decreasing in percentage saved), Sprint and AT&T offer a higher discount with my employer.   I spoke to Sprint and AT&T and they offer not only better discount, they are cheaper (and AT&T coverage is better here where I live, versus very broken up where I live when it comes to Verizon).   Anyway, I called back and spoke to a Rep. named Kayla who was more than happy to keep us at Verizon.  I questioned the Edge plan, and that none of our 5 lines where up to where I could get it.  I asked her if she could speak to someone and make an exception.  She did and said that was not a problem that since we had been loyal customers for over 20 years, I could do the Early Edge on all 5 lines, that she could go ahead and place an order for 5 new phones of what we wanted - and that when I received them, then I would have to send Verizon back the 5 phones that we currently have.  I thought great.  I'd be saving atleast some money going this route.  I told her that I wasn't sure which phones we wanted that I would find out and call back.  I did the online chat later because I had a question, and that Rep told me - No, that wasn't going be happening at all that I was misinformed.   This is not the first time that this has happened with Verizon.  A rep in a store told me if I bought this Verizon tablet ($99 with a $99 mail in rebate - Free, I liked that - then he said if I did that, he could save us $20 per month on  what we were currently paying per month).    Well, low and behold - I got an extra line - a tablet that I had no use for (he got me at the whole "I'll lower your bill $20 per month".  I fell for it, and it didn't save me one penny.   In the meantime, I put Sprint and AT&T to the test - I spoke with each of them about 3 different times each and got the same answer each time from both of the providers.  Customer Care/Service and consistency and not misleading customers is what is selling me.   I will gladly spend my $3,400/year elsewhere - and save money in the process.   Anyone else have similar experiences???

    Early Edge works by having you turn in the phone on the line that is early edge upgraded.  You then start paying for the full cost of that phone over 24 months, sooner once you get to 75% paid off on that phone, where you can trade it in and start again on another phone, but you will have lost the money already paid up to 75%.  When you trade in the phone for Early Edge and then trade in the new phone for edging up, the phones must be in perfect working order with no damage of any kind.
    The money "saved" comes from being on Edge where, if the phone is on a plan with 6GB or more data, you save $25 per month on each Edge phone, $15 if on a plan with less than 6GB.  However, you turn around and put that $25 back onto the phone payment each month, so you DO save $25/$15 but you basically break about even on a 6GB and greater plan after the phone cost.
    BUT, in the end, if you get a better, more reliable signal from ATT, and you have an awful signal with VZW, you might consider a switch, but you'd have a large sum of ETFs at this point to cancel all 5 lines.  There are also special stipulations as to who and when one can Edge up or start Early Edge, such as 6 months straight on-time payments.

    Early Edge is basically just starting the Edge plan early, so the above page should answer a lot of the questions regarding eligibility. Be warned however, that there are a lot of people with issues who decided to take advantage of this program, namely the trade-in process of sending old phones back and then finding charges on their bill for phones that were "not" received at the warehouse.
    It is my opinion that you should not go this route, because if you have less than stellar service now, you are setting yourself up for possible frustration and another 2 years of disappointment.

  • Getting very frustrated with my Gnex...

    Ok so I am running out of ideas to make this phone work for me... Currently on my 3rd gnex since i first bought it in May 2012 and this on is by far the worse. Just a quick run down of my first two 1.) worked great absolutely enjoyed all the features as it was my first 4g phone got impatient waiting for 1st jelly bean update and bricked it while trying to root rookie mistake lol... 2.) was just as happy with it as the first. Everything working great till about a month ago when the mic started to act up and no one could hear me unless i was using a headset or blue tooth. Got the update for 4.2.2 the day I was taking it to best buy geek squad to send out and that even seemed to be working great loved the camera features and was even starting to like the lock screen widgets. Had no problems with the battery drain and even seemed to be running better than ever. But since my wife was the most frustrated with not being able to hear me when we'd talk on the phone i sent it out for a replacement (happy wife = happy life). Which now brings me to today not even 24 hours after picking up my replacement gnex i am starting to regret my decision to ever buy one in the first place. This one came with 4.2.2 ready to go on it and seemed to get off to a good start with it until i tried to open the internet, Google would start to load then poof back to home screen, open internet back up load some more then kicked out (wifi or 4g/3g mind you). then it was like it was taunting me saying "oh good patients you got me to load google dare you to search.... HAHAHAHAHA nice try" poof home screen. Ok. Well internet a bust lets try the google search bar.... Oh wow i like the new features here let's try a search.... well back to hompage i go.... At this point I'm ready to give up and try later so I press the lock button and screen goes black then flashes at me for about 3mins... When I go to the main menu it is black as if i have no apps at all till i swipe and then everything appears.  Oh and it is beginning to get real hot like I've seen posted here a couple of times and now I have started missing the htc thunberbolt loaner phone that best buy gave me for the 3 days with out my nexus...
    Things I have tried:
    -Factory reset (3 times)
    -Taking Battery out and letting it sit for awhile (up to 15mins)
    -Avoiding the urge to just throw it against the wall (hardest one of all)
    Things I'd like to avoid in finding a solution:
    -Rooting ( tried and failed at that already in the past)
    -Waiting for ANOTHER replacement phone
    -Throwing it against the wall (still seems like that would make me the happiest right now)
    So all in all i just needed to vent a bit and am now curios as to what options I do have now. I didn't go with the verizon insurance on the phone because i went through Best Buy when i bought it originally and pay 9.99 a month for their Geek Squad protection plan but i don't want to have to send it back out since i just got it back today. Can I take it in to a verizon store and replace it right away? If so how much should that cost (in AZ)? Has anyone else been down this road with their gnex as well and have any info to share?

    Is the replacement phone working flawlessly so far as of this posting cowboyjake? I couldn't help it to laugh at your posting things you have tried. I know how you feel the upgrade it messed up my phone it reboots during a phone call, screen goes blank and have to uninstall / reinstall the battery to get the phone to boot up and work. Price goes up Quality and Service goes down is the motto of all businesses now days.
