MX922 could not print color even after clean/deep clean many times
My MX922 did print about 600 color pages and could not print very clear. Then I did a few time of clean/deep clean from maintenance. The test pattern is ok for PGBK. However, there is no color (or a little color once a while). All the colors ink could be detected. Is there anything that I could do now? Or the color printhead is bad? If this is the case, could you I chang that?

Since the cleanings did not improve the print quailty, please perform an automatic and manual print head alignment to see if this will help. To do this, please follow the steps located at the link below:

I'm getting "The update could not be installed" even after disabling everything & restarting - why?
It also says another instance of Firefox is running, but there isn't.
I'm using Windows 7, Firefox 5.0.
I disabled Logitech devices, SunJava & everything else, no luck. Nothing else running except Windows stuff.
This is the first time it has happened - is it a problem with Firefox?If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

HP Photosmart C5380 not printing colors as it should
I'm having a problem with printing. Up until the other day I was printing ok, but suddenly when I went to print instead of printing red, a yellowish orange color was printing, and purple was printing a very light blue. I cleaned the printhead, which resulted in red printing in yellow. I used the clean printhead option on the printer settings, colors are printing mostly ok. Just some lines are more faded than others. The colors that print with this are orange, green, purpule, yellow, pink and blue. I also tried to print in grayscale, which ended up printing in green. Any ideas of how to fix this problem??? Thanks

As with all unexplainable Photoshop-problems you might try trashing the prefs (after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed) by pressing command-alt-shift on starting the program or starting from a new user-account.
System Maintenance (repairing permissions, purging PRAM, running cron-scripts, cleaning caches, etc.) might also be beneficial, Onyx has been recommended for such tasks.

Weeding out bad fonts never seems to be a bad idea, either. (Validate your fonts in Font Book and remove the bad ones.)
If 3rd party plug-ins are installed try disabling them to verify if one of those may be responsible for the problem. -

Could be a lot of reasons. First try to print a supplies status page- If that prints with color on it, you have a driver problem.

My 1 year old -- ha! one month out of warranty -- iPhone 4 has been having a nearly identical problem over the past few days.
It started by dying completely so I had the battery replaced, thinking it was simply battery issue.
It then worked again for a moment but started doing exactly what you describe, going through a reset cycle (longer than 30 seconds but who's counting). And it felt quite warm.
Did hard reset, plugged into wall charger and MBP USB but the new battery wouldn't even get a full charge (a whopping 92% after nearly two days). It would even lose battery when plugged in if I opened an app. And all the while plugged in, if I left the phone on, it would cycle through these resets. So I turned it off to try to charge it.
Now suddenly, it's dead again. Totally black, and hard reset does nothing. Up until two days ago there was nothing wrong whatsoever with this phone! And I hadn't even installed a new app that could be the root of the issue. No idea whatsoever what caused this.
Any help would be much appreciated!! -
Pages 5.1 - Kodak Printer will not print color
Anyone having problems printing color after Pages 5.1? I have a Kodak ESP 7250 and the printer option is strikes through and I can not print color. Printer works fine with older version of Pages on macbook.

I cannot print anything from Photoshop CS5. I always get the message:

I'm using Mac OS 10.6.8, with 8 GB RAM. I have tried setting memory usage to 100% of RAM (7379 MB for me). The "Ideal Range" is 4058-5313 MB. I cannot print anything, not even a 20 kB file because I always get that error message.
I've tried unistalling & reinstalling, just to see if that did anything. It didn't help.
Does anyione have any ideas for what the problem is?

(I don't have a problem printing from any other programs, like Gimp, but I want to print from Photoshop because of they way it allows you to adjust what part of the image you print when you are cropping the image during printing.)shanahan3030 wrote:

That is never a good idea. You're starving the OS of RAM. Try pulling it back to 70% or less.
Also, clarify how much disk space you have left on your boot drive and on your scratch drive. -
Problem with printing - could not print because not enough RAM CS5
I am using Photoshop CS5 on a new iMac running OSX 10.9.4. Each time I try to print from Photoshop I get a message saying 'Could not print because there is not enough RAM'. Do you know exactly how much RAM Photoshop needs for printing? Just an idea: the RAM assigned to Photoshop is limited in the preferences. In case this setting has been changed to a small value, you might not realise it when working with images, but when doing extra stuff. Then, what about cache folders and probably limited space for cache folder? I don't know OS X. Maybe you try a different cache folder location.

HP Photosmart 7525 not printing color correctly
HP Photosmart 7525 will not print color from any application.
Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium.
Grayscale is not on.
Tried printing with discolored background correction
Tried each of the color management options separately from discolored background correction and combined with it.
Replaced the ink, and the result was worse!
The quality report shows no color ink whatsoever, and from the display, it looks like the printer believes it has no color ink left.Attempted to clean cartridges and align the printer through the display pad: no luck.

My son sent me his hp 5440 inkjet printer. I have windows xp. I downloaded the drivers from HP and installed on my computer, but the printer will not print color. I have checked and made sure that grayscale in unchecked in the printer properties. Ink levels show about 3/4 for the black and about 2/3 for the tri-color. Any advice on what is wrong and how to fix it.. Any help is greatly appreciated...

The most common cases of the optimizer apparently ignoring a hint are due to operator error, the hint is not well formed, or cannot be followed. There are a couple of documented cases where a hint will be ignored - first_rows used in CTAS is one.
Jonathan Lewis writes a lot about it on his blog showing that the optimizer always acts on a well formed hint if it is at all possible.

I gave a big series of pictures the wrong keywords. Now, I can't figure out how to change them (besides one by one...). If I select e.g. 10 pictures in Library-mode, how to change keywords on them all at the same time?

All of a sudden emailing photos out of iphoto doesn't work anymore for me. I used to do this all the time, using my Yahoo email account. But suddenly iphoto starts sending the photos, says "SENDING", but then it freezes, gets stuck, and never finishe
