Neither my local computer consultant nor I have been ableto change any of the settings in Time Machine to correct this problem. Working with the choices in the TimeMachine, there does not appear that there is any way to change the frequency ofthe backups either, so, after a year has elapsed, the time capsule is full, andmy only choice appears to be to erase all the current data on the Time Capsuleand start over, something that I do not want to at all let alone repeat on anannual basis. My questions are:
What can be done to have my Time Capsule delete old filesas it is supposed to do, so it has memory available to allow my computers toback up?
Is this a software problem that can be fixed online or isdoes this require a mechanical fix of defective hardware?
How much data is being backed-up from each Mac? (see what's shown for Estimated size of full backup under the exclusions box in Time Machine Prefs > Options).
Is there any other data on your Time Capsule, besides the backups?
Most likely, there just isn't room. Time Machine may be trying to do a very large (or full) backup of one or both Macs, and can't. Since it won't ever delete the most recent backup, there has to be enough room for one full backup plus whatever it's trying to back up now, plus 20% (for workspace).

I have an iPhone 4 still running 6.1.3 software. A few days ago it stopped working through my car's USB connection (I have a 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid). I can no longer control my music through my car's stereo system. I am unable to choose what song, album, playlist, etc. to be played and cannot skip songs. When I try to skip, it reverts back to the first song. When I choose what to be played directly on my phone, it can only be played for about 30 seconds through my car's stereo system before it stops and displays the message "Unsupported Version." How can this be fixed? (Also, I know it is my iPhone and not my car because someone I know has the same exact car as me from 2009 and it did the same thing on theirs.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This problem is extremely frustrating and the alternative of trying to change music directly on my phone while driving is a risk I am not willing to consider. I have three computers backing up onto the same Time Machine. The Hard drive of one has now failed, and I'd like to restore certain items (principally photographs) to one of the other two computers. How can I do this?

I am running OS 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1. Option-Command-Escape now brings up Front Row. How can this be fixed?

The reason I suggest that - the real command combo for Front Row is Command-Escape; yet yours was being activated when you pressed Command-Option-Escape. That would indicate that Finder was not responding to the inclusion of Option in the key combo. The simplest explanation for that would be that the Option key you are using is not working for some reason.
One other 'simple' possibility - just to make sure (in case you are using a non-Apple keyboard), Option is the key adjacent to each Command key. -

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Restoring your device is the solution for this issue, but if a backup was made you can also use that after the restore. This article provides details on how to go about this:

I would recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
Power-down the modem, AirPort base station, and computer(s).
While all of the devices are powered-down, perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. This will get it back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration and make setting it up much easier, especially if you use the "Assist me" process within the AirPort Utility. (ref: Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule)
After the base station resets, go ahead and power it back down.
Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes.
Power-up the base station; wait at least 5-10 minutes.
Power-up your computer(s).
In this basic configuration, computers connected to the base station, either by wire or wireless (as appropriate for the base station type), should now be able to access the Internet through the ISP's modem. Once Internet connectivity has been verified, you can use the AirPort Utility to configure the base station for wireless security and any other desired options. -

I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. You know sometimes these forums miss the obvious. I have an iPod Classic 160Gb, 6th Gen (MC297), Been in use for some time now, over 10,000 albums plus photos/videos etc. Yesterday I was in the process of adding another album (sync) when for no reason that I could fathom became corrupted, as explained on these posts. I had all the error messages (error 1439), I put it into diagnostic mode, the result being that my HDD could not be accessed, so should be replaced.
Now I tried all the advice here, including attempting to reformat via two different PC's (with iTunes) umpteen times. Until I came across a paragraph within the comments section of a YouTube video on replacing the HDD.
It said to put the iPod into Disk Mode, first; Reset by holding the menu & centre buttons at same time for 7-10 seconds. Once it reboots immediately hold the centre and Pause/Play buttons, after a few seconds it should display Disk Mode screen.
Reconnect to PC, when it shows as a drive, right click choose format, default settings, type in name iPod, select start and it should format (mines did), yet I had tried all of the formatting before without success. Once done restart iTunes and you will be taken to the restore iPod option, (it had failed to restore many times before prior to using disk mode), success, just follow prompts, make sure you are connected to the PC that holds your library for re-syncing. iTunes will let you know if you need to change that anyway.
iPod in the sync process just now and looks to be doing the job, much better that trying to get the case open to replace the HDD that I don't have yet and don't know which type or where to get one. So would advice you folk on here, to get your iPod into 'Disk Mode' especially if you have had the HDD error or unable to restore/format messages.
Never saw any of this method on Apple support. -

In the Adobe Premiere Elements AutoSave Folder were:
My new video project-1.prel (first and the oldest)
My new video project-2.prel
My new video project-3.prel
My new video project-4.prel
My new video project-5.prel (last and the newest)
I am OK with the first 5 with the maximum project versions = 5, but.....
Since I have set for only 5 versions, where do the subsequent versions go every 1 minute since you continue to
see only the above file names in the Adobe Premiere Elements AutoSave Folder.
My new video project-1.prel
is now the 6th AutoSave and replaces the original first AutoSave.
My new video project-2 prel
is now the 7th AutoSave and replaces the original second Auto Save.
Since I did 7 AutoSaves, this is the last and the newest.
My new video project-3.prel is still the original third AutoSave.
My new video project-4.prel is still the original fourth AutoSave.
My new video project-5.prel is still the original fifth AutoSave.
So, after the generation of the 10 th AutoSave, all the original 5 AutoSave would be gone,
and the My new video project-5.prel would then again become the last and the newest)
As for the question about
Can I re-save this auto-save under a different name?
Yes, but review the Edit Menu/Preferences/Scratch Disks for the locations of the scratch disc. If same as
project, then those scratch disc will end up in the folder with the AutoSave which has become your project.prel.
A battery failure was at the core of this situation. So you should be OK moving forward.
