You've checked the name and address on your iTunes account and it's in exactly the same format (including spacing and layout) as the credit card that you are trying to use is registered to ? And the card was issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are ?

If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.

My first advice is "Back up the device, then have it replaced." Second item of advice, "Don't forget your passcode."
One of the purposes of the lock button is to recover from certain software failures. Without the lock button, such a recovery is nearly impossible. My advice would have served you best when the malfuction first developed, not after you forgot your passcode. -

There are no more updates for Java from Apple for 10.5.8, the only way to get a Java upgrade is updating your OSX.

Again, this only affects you if someone *redownloaded* content with a different ID. In my case, I emailed iTunes Store support, explained the situation, and they reset the counter. I recommend you try the same
If you read discussion boards, this is a significant change from a year ago, when Apple told people in the same situation to go f&$# themselves. Clearly it's dawning on them that this is a stupid policy, and my guess is if people keep complaining they'll change it to something more reasonable. Remember, it wasn't that long ago you couldn't re-download content at all.
Apple can't really afford to play hardball on this. Sure, the hardcore fanboys will always say "Thank you sir, may I have another" whatever Apple throws at them, but the rest of us will just switch to Amazon, which has none of these restrictions. -

My iPad is downloading my video purchases automatically, but it's only downloading two episodes from Supernatural S10 that I have watched and deleted. I can't stop it from downloading, and I can't download anything else because of it. I don't know what to do. There is some sort of glitch happening and it's really affecting my iPad. I've tried letting it download but before it completes, it says it is unable to complete process and asks me to try again. I am on a limited interest data plan and can't afford these downloads to continue. What can I do?
Have you tried deleting the App within the Settings menu (rather than from the Home Screen)?
Settings>General>Usage>
From the Apps list, find the App (press "Show all Apps" if the app is not in the immediately shown list), tap on the app you wish to delete, then tap "Delete App" -

It is the same for the app store. You are required to have some sort of payment method in the record.

I have tried to change my Apple ID and was successful but when I go to the App Store my Apple ID appears as the old one. I no longer have a password for it. Now I can't download anything. What do I do?
Your apps were purchased under the old ID, so they will have to be deleted and re-purchased/downloaded under your new one.

On my iPad Mini, when I delete an email from the inbox (and it goes into Trash), it immediately deletes that email from the server (ATT/Yahoo). I've called support for both ATT and Apple and can't find a way to have the emails remain on the server.
My husband and I share an email address and if he misses a day checking email on his notebook, he doesn't receive the items that I have sent to Trash on my iPad Mini.
Appreciate suggestions.
[The curious thing is, if I "move" the deleted emails from Trash on my iPad Mini into the Inbox, I can go to my notebook, open my online email and they are back in my ATT/Yahoo Inbox.]Is your Yahoo account set up as POP3 or IMAP?

Uploading newer ios on Ipad 2 - things were going well then got a picture of the apple logo and a line moving from start to end - stopped short of end and can't do anything now - HELP
Try a soft-reset and see if that gets it to boot up properly : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should reappear and it will hopefully boot up.
If it doesn't then try recovery mode and restore/resync your content : If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -

I can't download anything on the Mac App store. It says This Apple ID cannot be used for the Mac App Store.
I went into settings, iTunes & App Store and tapped on my appleID, then signed out. I went back into the App Store on my phone and tried to download the app and then signed in again, and it worked!
