I M UNABLE TO INSTALL BLUTOOTH DEVICE FROM APPLE IPHONE S4 WITH MY LAPTOP,PLEASE HALP

First, stop typing in all caps. That is considered rude and shouting. Also, it is HARD to read.
iPhones are only supported for tethering when connecting to a computer.

    I have an Iphone 3g and macbook laptop. Recently my iphone has no longer been able to connect to my computer. This problem is specific to my laptop and specific to my phone in regards to the USB ports as they are in working order and when connected to another laptop it works. I have reset the PRAM recently thinking it was my USB ports and have also recently performed a hard reset on my iphone since the iphone 4 update slowed it down. When the laptop is shut the phone charges and when resetting the PRAM the phone connects for a few moments and then once the laptop has fully loaded stops working. Anyone offer any help as Im not sure if its a hardware or software problem with my phone or laptop. thnku

    Reinstall the AMDS:
    1. Disconnect your iPhone from your Mac.
    2. In the Finder, locate iTunes in the Applications folder and drag it to the Trash.
    3. Move the iTunes icon to the Trash.
    4. Choose Go > Go to Folder.
    5. Enter /System/Library/Extensions and click Go.
    6. Locate the file AppleMobileDevice.kext and drag it to the Trash.
    7. Choose Go > Go to Folder.
    8. Enter /Library/Receipts/ and click Go.
    9. Locate the file AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg and drag it to the Trash. If prompted, authenticate with the administrator password.
    Note: This file may not be present in Mac OS X v10.6 and later; skip to the next step if this is the case.
    10. Restart the computer.
    11. Choose Finder > Empty Trash and restart the computer.
    12. Download and install the current version of iTunes.
    13. Connect your phone to your Mac again and open iTunes

  • Apple Mobile Device Suppurt not installing with iTunes 10.6.3

    Hey guys, any help with this would be much appreciated., I had an issue a couple of days ago where I couldn't reinstall the latest itunes (10.6.3) I have now managed to install this current version but with one major problem, Apple Mobile Device Support didn't install with it. I tried everything, I've tried uninstalling itunes and reinstalling it again with and without the anti virus turned on, I've tried a system restore, I've tried using an old version of Apple Mobile Device Support, and still nothing.
    My itunes keeps saying this whenever I plug in my iPad, "This iPad cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the itunes installer to remove itunes, then install the 64bit version of itunes" I've done that, it didn't work, however, itunes has managed to install successfully on my desktop pc, which is Windows XP, with apple mobile device support, but the machine I'm having trouble installing itunes with Apple Mobile Device Support on is my Laptop which is running Windows 7. I doubt this is a problem with my laptop, the system restore I did confirmed that, and the issue only returned when I tried reinstalling the latest itunes. 
    Is this problem with Apple Mobile Device Support not installing with the latest itunes a bug? i hope so, because I've  read up ways to solve this problem but alot of it gets too technical and I'm not the most technical person when it comes to computers and all that.
    Is anyone else having similar problems, if so, how did you solve it?

    I've also read somewhere about using Win Rar to extract files to do with apple mobile device support from the itunes installer file, would you recommend that to? I don't really fancy the idea of doing anything that involves my registry because knowing me I'll end up screwing my laptop up for good lol
    It's a little more involved than just doing a standalone AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi install, I'm afraid. The relevant drivers in AMDS are not digitally signed for 64-bit XP, so you have to force XP to accept a driver install that it would try its damnedest to not do. There's no driver issues for other 64-bit componentry in the installer package (I think the GEAR drivers install on XP 64-bit systems), but I believe there's still a bit of fancy footwork involved in getting them installed too ... although it's been a long time since I've looked at an instruction set, and I might not be recalling those things correctly. (So if you're not comfortable with system modifications, it might be best to steer clear of the Orca-based techniques ...)

    I followed the instructions in those 2 articles. Still not able to see the device in ITunes. I reinstalled the latest iTunes and all updates to my iMac (Mac OSX ver 10.6.8). I tried 3 different USB Cables in different USB ports. Rebooting both the Iphone and IMac. Still nothing seems to be working. I searched the discussion boards and I see other people with the same problem but they seem to run into the same problems finding a solution. I dont understand what happened because this was working properly up until 2 days ago. Do you have any more suggestions?

    Had you set your iPhone up to use Photo Stream?
    Had your performed an iCloud backup of your iPhone before it was damaged?
    If you did neither of the above, then your photos are not in the cloud, and they are gone.
    If you performed an iCloud backup, then it would contain the photos in the iPhone's Camera Roll (taken on the iPhone) at the time of your last backup.  You could restore this iCloud backup to a device.
    If your iPhone used Photo Stream, those photos are immediately accessible to your iPad if you set it up to use the same Photo Stream.

  • Iphone will not install from App store

    I have a problem where my iphone will not install apps from the appstore.
    Description:
    If I select to install an app in appstore i get prompted for my password. When password is entered no installation starts, but after a brief moment the button to install the app is highlighted again as it were before I pressed it. The app never gets installed.
    - I tried with several different apps with the same result.
    - I am running IOS6.0 (10A403).
    - 5GB free space on the phone
    - I am positive that the apple ID password is entered correctly. I changed it twice to see if it made any difference, but no luck, and I also tried entering a faulty password. Withe the faulty password I got a dialogue saying the password is wrong. This dialogue does not appear with the correct password.
    - I restarted the phone. No luck with that either.
    - Phone is an Iphone 4 100% original. 
    Any suggestions for a solution?

    Do you have any restrictions set up in Settings/General/Restrictions that prevent you from installing apps or certain apps?

    I am attempting to install an iPhone so that I may activate, to no avail. Everytime I connect the iPhone, the New Hardware Wizard appears and asks to install iPhone - which never works. Also, iTunes (7.5) does NOT recognize iPhone either.
    I have uninstalled iTunes 3x's, all with same problem. How on earth do I get pass this hurdle? What is the iPhone driver Windows XP SP2 is looking for?

    Found the solution myself. The following article points out that the file USBAAPL.SYS is required (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305716), which for some unknown reason was not on my PC.
    To find the file is another story. Discussion (http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=5602335) message by dave w1 on Oct. 2 2005 points to the C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE\ directory.
    Voila, pointed the iPhone Hardware Wizard to the aboe directory and now I have a functional iPhone.
    My question is, why was the file not installed with iTunes 7.5???

However, the Apple store just replaced my iPhone on a warranty issue, and now my iPhone will not sync with my itunes.     The issue might be caused by the USB connection. Try directly connecting both devices to a high-speed USB2 port on the PC.

    And it was your wife's Apple ID that was used to download and install the Yosemite you are using on this computer? If so then I suggest you need to contact Apple to get his straightened out.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
    Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
    If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.
