My auto-indent and code formatting is not working.

Usually on dreamweaver CS5.5 my code (html) would indent my <div> tags and align them up with the end div </div>. Not only were the <siv> tags formateed but various of others tags were as well.
How Dreamweaver used to format my code:
<head>
          <title>Example</title>
          <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
</head>
<body>
<div id="outside_container">
          <div id="container">
                    <a href="#"><img src="images/logo.jpg" id="logo" /></a>
        <ul id="menu">
                  <li><a href="#"></a></li>
                  <li><a href="#"></a></li>
                  <li><a href="#"></a></li>
                    </ul>
        <ul id="right_menu">
                  <li><a href="#">t</a></li>
                  <li><a href="#">t</a></li>
        </ul>
        <img src="images/panel_home.jpg" id="panel" />
                    <div id="content">
                  <div class="column1">
                      <h2>Text</h2>
                <p>Text Here</p>
            </div>
Now it does not even format it so all of my code aligns on the left like so:
<head>
<title>Example</title>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
</head>
<body>
<div id="outside_container">
<div id="container">
<a href="#"><img src="images/logo.jpg" id="logo" /></a>
<ul id="menu">
<li><a href="#"></a></li>
<li><a href="#"></a></li>
<li><a href="#"></a></li>
</ul>
<ul id="right_menu">
<li><a href="#">t</a></li>
<li><a href="#">t</a></li>
</ul>
<img src="images/panel_home.jpg" id="panel" />
Can anybody please help me?

Did you try Edit > Preferences > Code Format > Indent?

  • After upgrading to windows 10 Auto-rotate and touchpad gestures does not work

    I have installed the latest HP Support Assistant for windows 10  and I have installed the updates  Intel Virtual Button DriverHP System Event Utility Updates failed to install without giving reason: Intel Serial I/O driver Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver In display settings  I have checked the box of "Allow the screen to auto-rotate" But all these have not worked. Please find a solution for me.

    Yes. I found the answer here:http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Display-and-Video/HP-Envy-x2-13-j020CA-Windows-10-Auto-Rotate-Autorotate-now/m-p/5212887#M115445I've tried replacing the driver on Sdo Sensor V2 device with the Simple Device Orientation Sensor and rotation works just like it did on 8.1.For the record - Sdo Sensor v2 reports the device orientation continiously, and Simple Device Orientation Sensor reports it only when the orientation changes. Must be a Windows bug then.

  • Auto Deploy and VCD Network Isolation - Not Working

    Hello,
    I have opened a support case about this issue, but the case is moving a lot slower than I would like to see. I thought I'd post here to see if anyone has ran into anything similar.
    We recently switched our 24-host vCloud cluster (more info about this cluster below) over to Auto-Deploy (was using boot from USB). After the switch, we had a few complaints from customers that use isolated networks. It turns out that only 4 of our 24 hosts were working properly with isolated networks. All 24-hosts are using the same auto-deploy image.
    When the hosts boot up, the vCloud Director web interface shows the following with green check marks: "Status", "Enabled", "Ready", "Available", and "VCD Network Isolation Capable".
    To get my other 20 hosts working, I disabled all 20 hosts in the vCloud interface, unprepared them, and prepared them. After this, network isolation worked for those 20 hosts. When I reboot one of the hosts, the host still looks like it's good in the interface, but network isolation doesn't work until I disable, unprepare, and prepare.
    Here is some more information about our environment:
    vCenter build 2001466
    ESXi Host Build 2702864
    VCD Build 5.5.2.2000523
    vShield Build 5.5.3
    Here is the Deploy Rule that the hosts are using:
    Name        : UCS-2.2.1-pcloud.5.5.aln
    PatternList : {oemstring=$SPT:ESX_PublicCloud_autod.2.2.x}
    ItemList    : {ESXi-5.5.0-autod-2.2.1.vshield}
    I have confirmed that this is indeed the profile being used by looking at the Summary tab for the hosts and seeing the listed Image Profile.
    And here is what's in that item:

    Right now, on my test host (that is not working), I have two VMs, one named "Test 1" and the other "Test 2" They only have an isolated network on them (named "Test Isolated Network") that is in my VDC, and pings do not work between them. If I move them to any other host (that have been unprepared and prepared), pings work. I can move both to the same host, or different hosts.
    Here is the fence info on this host, I'm not really sure how to interpret this:

  • Code insight is not working correctly in Jdev 10.1.3 (preview) and java 1.5

    The code insight does not work for me. I followed the advice of Steve Muench given here:
    http://radio.weblogs.com/0118231/stories/2003/01/17/whyIsntMyCodeInsightWorking.html
    but that did not change the problem. The problem seems to be related to new java 1.5 features. As soon as I start using generics the code insight is lost...
    Any clues what is going on? I s this easy to fix?
    -- example: (NOTE that iI use double (( )) to indicate generics definitions. the forum software would not let me put in the correct syntax!)
    package mypackage;
    import java.util.Set;
    public class tester1
    private Set ((Integer)) intSet = null;
    public tester1()
    intSet. ---- NO CODE INSIGHT POPS UP! (if i change to "private Set intSet = null;" it works)
    public static void main(String[] args)
    new tester1();
    P.S.
    Also, i noticed that the auto-import ist not working for the "Set((Integer))" line!

    thanks for the info.
    Hmm - too bad. I may have to switch to eclipse or something then, since my project involves some 1.5 parts and the missing code insights and import features are a real pain for me.

    As a Test:
    Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
    Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

  • In the advanced tab of languages and Region the time and date formats will not change

    For a certian Application I am using I need to change the format of the Time and Date. I had no problems in Mountain Lion. In the advanced tab of languages and Region the time and date formats will not change. I need the date format to read as 01/01/14 and time format to read 13:00. As I said this was easily done in Mountain Lion and all previous Apple OS. I suspect it's an issue with in the OS.

    You're right, it has been that way for a long time. I've never bothered reporting it as a bug since it's simple enough to deal with, but reporting it would be a reasonable thing to do.

    I'm upgrading to Mountain Lion and my Format is not (Journaled) so it won't let me upgrade. Any suggestions?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
    You just have to enable journaling. To do it, open Disk Utility (in /Applications/Utilities) and choose Macintosh HD or your OS X volume in the sidebar. Then, you will see the button to enable journaling in the toolbar, so press it. When it finishes, run the OS X Mountain Lion installer.

  • Code completion particular not working

    Hello,
    in my program there are serveral internal classes. Each class has its own include file. Code completion seems not working for internal classes in other include files.
    example:
    lcl_class1 in includec01   (first included)
         class-methods static1_1
         methods method1_1
    lcl_class2 in includec02   (second included)
         class-methods static1_1
         methods method1_1
    problem:
    While development in lcl_class2 there are no code completion for lcl_class1.
    No code completation for lcl_class1=>static1_1
    but if you declarate "data lo_myclass type ref to lcl_class1." code completion is working fine for public member methods and attributes in the same file.
    In Functiongroups all working fine.
    Best Regards
    Markus Bauernschmitt
    Und da hier eh die meisten deutschsprachig sind und mein Englisch grausam ist, nachfolgend die Erklärung nochmal auf deutsch.... ;-)
    In meinen Programmen findet die Codevervollständigung keine interne Klassen aus vorangegangenen include Dateien. Dadurch werden weder die Klassen selbst noch die statischen Methoden angezeigt. Gebe ich eine statische Methode ein und möchte die Hilfe anzeigen (F2) erscheint die Fehlermeldung "Codeinformationen sind nicht verfügbar".
    Dieses Problem tritt nicht auf, falls die Deklaration einer Variablen in der gleichen Include Datei erfolgt.
    Deklaration einer Variablen in der aktuellen Include Datei -> Dokumentation der öffentlichen (nicht statische) Methoden und Attribute funktioniert
    Zugriff auf öffentliche (statische oder nicht statische) Methoden und Attribute von globalen Variablen (deklariert in einer anderen Datei) funktioniert dagegen nicht.
    Es sind nur anscheinend nur Programme betroffen. Bei Funktionsgruppen (getestet am Beispiel "ldemo_cr_car_rental_screen") trat der Fehler nicht auf.

    Hi Dominik,
    thank you for your answer. The internal classes are already simple and lightweight. In my understanding of OO I keep classes private as possible and so I create this specific "one program helper classes" in the smallest reasonable scope.
    However, this is a architektur decission. But the pivotal question is: Why working this kind of code completion in function groups but not in programs.
    Some additional information.
    - Code completion working in "START-OF-SELECTION."
    - In Functiongroup includes (Testcase lcl_class1 show as public type and lcl_class2 show as local public class.
    Best regards
    Markus

  • Mail is not saving attachment and save as is not working

    Suddenly my Mail is not saving attachment and save as is not working. I tried to save an email as I use to do but it is not completing the task. I should I do?
    Thanks for any help,
    Mario Lordeiro

    Mario,
    Was there also NO choice to View As Icon, in the contextual menu? If not, these items/images may be embedded in HTML, rather than true attachments. Other choices for normal attachments would include Open Attachment, Open With, Save to Downloads Folder -- are any of those present in the contextual menu?
    With such a message open, click on View in the menubar, place the cursor on Message in the pull-down menu, and choose Raw Source. Is there any HTML code present? Is there a header immediately before any code representing what you believe is an attached file?
    If need be, I can send you an email message with a known form of attachment.

  • Code completion does not work with table alias

    Hi all,
    When i use SQL developer to create a simple query like below i alias my tables so i can oversee it better.
    select
    * from  PRODUCTS p
    inner join PRODUCT_TYPES pt on PRODUCT_TYPES.PRODUCT_TYPE_ID = p.But when i give the driving table a alias like p and i try to do a join like you see in the code SQL developer will not show the columns from table PRODUCTS.
    What do i wrong or is this a bug?
    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel

    Hi,
    Sue, there are lots of code completion don't work either.
    Some of them are :
    1. The code completion seems not working if we put double-quote ("") to enclosed the object name.
    SELECT t. -- CTRL+Space the code completion won't work here
    FROM   MYSCHEMA."MYTABLE" t   2. The code completion also not working if we state some characters of the column name, although it still works for the uncomplete object name
    i.e the name of the column is : MYFIELD
    SELECT t.MY  -- CTRL+Space, the code completion won't work here
    FROM   MYSCHEMA.MYTABLE t   3. Sometimes, I can see two code completion lists when I use CTRL + Space

  • I keep upgrading and it still does not work - call me with a solution - now !!

    I just need to take a few pages to take out of a document and create a new doc.  I had the software and now it does not work.   So i keep buying what I am told, by Adobe, will work, twice.  Is this a continual scam to keep buying ??????????????????????????????????????
    I need a solution now.  If you can not help do not contact me, if you do not contact me I am going to discontinue the services I have.  You have 24 hours.  Today is 11/10/2014 6:34 EST.

    Hi Paul,
    I'm sorry for your frustration. You have an ExportPDF subscription, which you can use to convert PDF files to Word format. It does not allow you to remove pages from as PDF and create a new PDF. It looks like you may have placed an order for an Acrobat subscription today, but it has not processed. Once it does, you can download and install Acrobat, and then use it to extract pages from a PDF (choose Extract from the Pages pane on the Tools panel).
    Best,
    Sara
