What I want to know is why did my WiFi modem work just fine for a whole week, now it doesn't. You asked about IPS. I believe you mean ISP, or your Internet Service Provider.
Since you don't have a computer, you won't be able to change the router settings.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Hello, I live in Montenegro and I bought used iPhone 5 off ebay few months ago. Phone is sim free but I notice really poor battery life. I have to charge it twice a day! Before 5 I used iPhone 4 and I had to charge every night but I could use the phone all day and I was fine with that. I checked and my iPhone is eligable for battery replacement program but there are no Apple Stores in Montenegro. There is T-Mobile which sells iPhones but I didn't buy mine over there. Is there a way for me to take advantage of this program? Can I get Apple to send me new battery and I will have local repair shops (which are very good) to replace the battery? I am ready to take full responsibility for that. If that is not an option could I visit apple store in US (example) and change my battery there for free, given that it is not bought over there?

I need help setting up my daughters iPod. She has been using her iPod touch for 6 months using my ID. This caused a problem now that she is a bit more savvy and has learnt to message and FaceTime. I get her calls and she gets mine. I have set her up her own ID with iCloud but when I go to settings for FaceTime and messaging I can't erase my ID. So the problem is not really solved. She will have to access iTunes through me as she doesn't know my password and any games etc have to pass the mummy test. Can anyone help?
Thanks. I have my iPad on my lap and her iPod in my hand. We can FaceTime each other but it won't let either of us message each other. I know mine is activated as I use it frequently. I have activated hers as well. Maybe I will put it in the too hard basket for tonight, sleep on it and try again tomorrow.

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

I am able to connect to my Mac Mini on Back to My Mac through iCloud but the keyboard/trackpad on the MBAir or MBP with which I access does not register on the Mini. So I can see the screen but cannot interact with it. Mini works accessing MBP/Air and I can use Mini to input data or interact with screens of those computers.
Regarding your first question about bookmarks, I think you discovered the answer in when you pressed the address bar. The second tab there has your bookmarks.
As for the keyboard, I'm not sure why your Firefox is reacting so slowly; mine seems to show keyboards even when I don't want them. If you have accumulated a lot of history, perhaps that's an issue?
Did you use any third party software to move your Firefox data from internal memory to the storage card? -

MacBook air" and the message i got from apple said that "Dou MacBook air" was successfully blocked. that time i realised who was the one who stole my Mac a "friend" :/ he was the only one that i know that uses that nickname for everything! well i didn't did much because i wasn't that sure that he stole it! but one day in a party in his house well not a party but all friends hanging out, they decided to go to the disco so i said that i was very tired and i managed to stay at his home, so when they left the house i decided to search for my thing, and after 30 min of searching i finally found all the things they stole :/ and my mac was there! so I immediately took all my thing and left the house! i called him telling him that i found all my things and ill took them home! he was stunned for a moment and then he said sorry for everything, but all that things he was going to buy! but he knew it was our stolen stuffs and blah blah blah

I cannot sync my mac with icloud. I believe I should go to ical preferences and add an account, right? There is no "icloud" menu choice -- only mobilme which is dead.
I have ical version 4.04 and Mac OS X 10.6.8. Everything I run tells me my software is up-to-date but I seem to see an updated version of ical out there -- 5.0.1 which I would think would have the choice to add an icloud account.
What to do? If all it takes is updating ical, why doesn't it do that when the system is checking itself for updates?
