My browser closes as my pointer keeps being drawn to the close sign in the top right hand corner

as above, its like a magnet has been added to the close X in the top RH corner!! and the pointer keeps rushing to it!!

I can't restore my toolbars and the "full screen" mode button is NOT at the top right-hand corner of my browser (or anywhere else)

My toolbar and menu is gone from Firefox. I have tried closing the browser and opening new ones and all the suggestions in the help forums on this website (as well as several others). Pressing "alt", "F10", "F11" and SEVERAL other things have NOT helped.
There is no full screen mode button anywhere on my browser and when I put my cursor at the top of the window, NO menu options appear at all.
I normally would quit Firefox but the icon won't appear in my dock and my computer won't let me eject the application (to download again) because apparently it's in use (even when I've closed all windows).

F11 doesn't work on a Mac to toggle full screen mode.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).

Today each time I use the minimise button in the top right hand corner of the window in order to mininmise it it completely disappears instead of being "parked" on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen ready to be maximised. How can I fix this?

When Oracle Forms is launched, there are 3 default buttons on the right hand corner: Maximize,Minimize and Close button.
The maximize and minimize button on ALL of my forms are working PERFECTLY fine.
HOWEVER, the close(X) buttons do NOT work at all. When user clicks it, the forms blink once and do nothing.
My form version is: 9.0.2.11.0
How can I fix it?

And take care if your form has multiple windows - you might not want all of them to exit the entire form. If you put your W-W-C trigger at form level you can determine which window is being closed using :system.event_window

I close firefox using the red cross - top right hand corner - but in processses it is still running

closing firefox using the red cross - top right of browser box closes it on my screen but the process stays running - when i try to open it again i get the message that it is already running although nothing i do willbring it back onto the screen - I have to go into task manager / processes and close it manually there (end process)
In task manager it hows in the processes list but not in the applications list

You can try to use File > Exit instead.

The firefox browser page covers the entire screen including the time icon in the lower right hand corner.

The browser page originally did not cover the entire page Also, I must place my cursor on the upper limit of the browser page to access the search and Firefox tool bar now.

The import command only works with audio CDs. So if you burned the files in mp3 format, try instead using the "File > Add file to library" or "File > Add folder to library" commands.

When I click "File", "Exit" or X in the upper right hand corner to close Firefox it starts using more than 90% CPU. I have to close Firefox by going to Taskmanager and click on the Process tab, select Firefox.exe and click on End Process.

You will also notice that your shift key will be emulated. Meaning that keys you will try to press will press but they will act like you are pressing the shift key when you are doing them.
Try this, minimize the firefox window by pressing the tab on your taskbar. After doing that maximize it again. You will magically be able to click any link on your page. When you navigate to a new page however, the entire situation will start all over. My only remedy is rebooting and hoping it doesn't happen again soon.

The links are there, the icons just disappeared.
I have an add-on color scheme at the top of the page.

With your help I played with it a little more. If I activate the title bar from the customize option, the problem appears solved. Of course, I lose a bit of my theme. I may try replacing the theme when I have more time.
