I am trying to use our home computer as my main ocmputer for syncing and general iphone uploading and music. even though my computer had to be reloaded recently, and i just downloaded a new itunes, it still brought up my husband's music librabry. what do i do?

now that i'm looking, it's loading the music that is already on the harddrive of the computer. can i still make this my iphone / itunes home base? how do i de-select the music from this librabry, or only keep what i want to transfer to my phone?

You need to reconfigure your phone for use with your Apple ID. I suggest you restore yours as new then reconfigure it with your information and Apple ID. Be sure to disable Find My Phone, if it's enabled, before proceeding.

You have to have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or Mac to create an iCloud account. However, if you tell your friend to create a shared photo stream and turn on Public Website, he/she will then be able to send you a link that will allow you to view the photos on the internet using your web browser. You would not be able to comment on the photos as this requires an iCloud account, but you would be able to view them.

Backup with this User Tip, restore the library to the new computer using the same tool, keep the backup up-to-date in future. Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer need to access protected content on it.
You can use your iPod classic to move your library to a new computer but if you don't already have a backup copy of the library (and your other important data) now is the time to think about it.

Alternatively, create another user account in your computer. Install iTunes in that account with the library you wish to sync.
