My daughter apple id is coming on my new phone instead of my own id
my apple i phone 5 is bringing up my daughters apple id instead of my own id,
Go to Settings -> iTunes & App Stores ... and then edit Apple id.
if this is not solving the problem, go to Setting -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings.

Thank youusually when you set up as a new phone it will ask you in the options if you would like to restore from last back-up, what i would do is, start again by deleting everything and setting it up as a new iphone again and after that on your iphone it will go through steps of setting it up again such as 'enable my location' and so on. when it comes up on the last option 'back up from last back-up' press the option you would like and then on your computer while having it plugged in go on prefrences on the itunes tab at the top, and click backing up and it will show you your recently backed up files, click okay after pressing the option you would like on your phone,,, this will only work with ios5.

Is there any way Apple will provide me with a new phone?
I have had to upgrade my I phone 3GS to the lastest ios6.0.1. I did not want to do this but when I connected my phone to itunes it stated that I had to upgrade to sync my phone. My phone is now completely useless. I have no signal so I can't make calls. I have no 3G or wifi. I might as well throw the thing in the bin.
I have tried to find ways to downgrade the phone but all the advice stated that it was not a good idea to do this. So is there any way of getting a replacement phone from Apple?
I am really annoyed with Apple! I can't even have a conversation online with them without having to pay. 6 months until I can get a Samsung! Can't wait!In a word: No. I would take your iPhone in to an Apple Store, if you have one near you, and let a Genius examine the problem, which they will diagnose for free.

Just updated software to 7.0.6 to find wifi facility lost and battery efficiency reduced. Apple store advise to buy a new phone. Surely the problem stems from the update ?

Also try settings>general>reset>reset all settings
If you have followed that article and restored your phone and set it up as new and you're still having that issue you may call and explain you followed the article and are still having the problem. Most likely they will either set up a replacement for you. If they ask you to set up the one time phone support agreement, and they assist you with a restore again, they won't bill you if they end up having to repair it. -
wi-fi is gray will not connect since ios7.03, worked fine before this version...now slow, very slow, using nothing but 4g, no wi-fi no solution from apple store but to purchase a new Iphone....other 4s phone purchased at same time connects via wi-fi what gives?

Depends on what you want to change it for:
For purchasing from the iTunes and app stores, go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores, tap the Apple ID, sign out, then sign back in with the alternate ID. (Note: previous purchases are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them so when you update your old apps, for example, you will still be prompted for the password for your old ID even if you aren't using it anymore.)
For iMessage, do the same thing in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive.
For FaceTime, do this in Settings>FaceTime.
For iCloud, you have to go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using the other ID, then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account. -
I have bought itunes songs on an ipad with my daughter apple id. i would like to back them up on the same computer I sync my iphone with using my apple id but they will not transfer. Both iphone and ipad have only been synced on the computer mentioned since they were purchased. Is there any way to get the ipad music transferred to the computer?
And they were definitely purchased from the iTunes store, they show on the account's purchase history (Store > View Account on a computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com) ?
You could potentially log into the account on that computer's iTunes (Store > Sign Out to log out of your account, that will then change to a Store > Sign In option) and redownload them by clicking on the id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and Purchased on the popup :
But that will potentially tie that computer to that account for 90 days : Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support
Or do you have a different computer that you could redownload them on and then copy them over to that computer via a flash drive or memory card, and then add them to its iTunes via File > Add To Library ? -

Greetings: I have multiple iPads and iPhones. I want all to be able to be able to stream to our Apple TV. All of the docs I see say you must have the same Apple ID for all the devices, but we each have our own Apple ID. Is this just a doc short coming?
You can each have your own ID for your own iTunes accounts, but in order for a device to stream via AirPlay to the same Apple TV, everything must use the same homesharing ID. This is not the same as your iTunes account ID (although it can be for one of the devices)

Apps will always be tied to the account from which it is purchased and will always have to updated suing that account.

this is getting more & more ridiculous......and worsening by the hour. Now every click on a Pages file makes it reboot....and just trying to save some files prior to doing a total restore as not sure what gets saved in the "back up" prior to the restore. Am starting to love my 5 year old original IPad as slow as it is, even more....

this sounds like it's only happening when trying to update applications in the app store, if the apps came from another account it will always ask for the other person's email and password.
get their password, don't update app, or delete and reinstall apps on your own account -

johnApps and other stuff you download are always linked to the ID you used to download. You need to update the app with the ID that you used to download the app in the first place and the password for that ID

I am currently trying to make a before-and-after presentation in CS4. I have 2 pictures that are side-by-side (via Image-->Reveal All). At the moment I have 2 layers, and when I try to add color to a layer, both pictures become black. For dramatic ef
