Did you follow the instructions in the link I provided in my first reply?
Also try triple clicking the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn Zoom off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. -

You can't reset the iPod with the Home and Power buttons. All y can do is restore the iPod.
Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs if necessary to allow the restore.:

Uninstalling/ reinstalling iTunes does not affect your music. You may also want to consider reinstalling the iPod software that came with your iPod, as well as restoring the iPod. Instructions here:

The image came up on my screen saying that I need to connect my iPod to iTunes, but I have a passcode, so it won't allow me to. And I want to try and turn it off, but my touch screen doesn't seem to be working either, so I can't even turn it off since you need to "slide to power off." HELP! What happens when you try to connect it to your iTunes library in Recovery Mode? See this article for steps on how to put your iPod Touch into recovery mode. Don't be afraid to try this more than once.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
I bought a song off of the itunes store on my iphone but it wont play. I even tried to repurchase it but it says that I already purchased it. I have restarted my phone and turned it off but it still won't download or play. HELP!
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your phone and re-download it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on it, or the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. -

Did you make sure that the brightness is turned up to max in Settings/Brightness?
Is anything covering the brightness sensor?

See if you can fix it by resetting the device.
To reset, hold the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again.

Check online with the web site of the maker of your video card for an updated driver (assuming you're running Windows).

My screen won't work, i have tried turning it off but i cant swipe the power down button because my screen doesnt work. I have only had my iphone 4s for one day and this has happened, someone please help me.
Did the trick! Not sure what I did to cause the screen to go numb, but this worked perfectly!!! I cleaned the screen and must have inadvertently selected something that locked the screen. This perfect solution kept me from having to run to the Apple Store. Many thanks.

IPod won't come up/restore on Windows
When I turn on my iPod, it says to "Use iTunes to Restore" otherwise I can't do anything with it. So, I plug it into my computer (Windows XP) and it still does nothing. It just says "Do not disconnect" on my iPod. Nothing comes up on my iPod besides that or on iTunes/My Computer...Please help me! This music lover has been out of an iPod because of this problem for a while!

This is exactly what the message says: iTunes could not back up the iPod "austins ipod" because a session could not be started with the iPod.Try connecting your ipod to another computer and sync only 1 file or song just for isolation purpose only to see if it'll sync.
If still not syncing, then porbably you may have a bad iOS installed in iPod which is hard to see if it has a problem because you said nothing's wrong with iPod. I just saying is, it MIGHT have a bad iOS.
If you are unable to do a restore, put your ipod in DFU mode, then connect to iTunes and iTunes will detect your ipod in restore mode. Press shift key (PC keyboard) then click the restore button on iTunes. I hope you have your copy of IPSW file for restoration purposes.
