My devices no longer give me an option to use AppleTv

I recently purchased an Apple IPAD and An AppleTV transmitter. Once Installed my Ipod touch and IPAD worked with the AppleTv, but 1 or 2 trys and now neither work or even give me an Icon to chooose the AppleTv device. What can I do?

The apple tv choice will only show up if the pad sees an active apple tv on the same network. So if your are not seeing the option, the tv has dropped off the network. Fire it up, and goto settings on the atv, and see if it is still logged into the same network as the pad.
You might also reboot the atv by unplugging it, wait, then replug. Make sure your atv software is current, they have been running some new versions through the last couple of months, presumably to fix some issues. Lastly, if you are stillhaving problems, reboot your router.
My atv will drop of the netwrok every so often. Not sure why, but is usually fixed with a reboot.

if you dont have the options to forget network you can reset your network settings, but than the device forget all networks
settings > general > reset > reset network settings

Was it AA X Std that you had these options in (sorry, I only have Pro)? If it was the trial (that is Pro), it may be that Std does not have to feature. Under XI at the Adobe site, there is a comparison of features between Std and Pro that might give you a hint.
There is also an option to turn on or hide many tools. For me there is a small icon just above the tools...comment titles. If you select that it give a list of tools you can display. Often, several are not displayed by default. How you lost them is another things, but it is getting them that is the basic question.

Same phone, same tv, same broadband network so everything the same so I assumed that it would.....just work!!! :-)
I'm away this weekend but I'm going to turn off and reload the Apple TV to see if that might work.

I recently created a new apple ID
Bad idea.
Content bought with an Apple ID is forever associated with that Apple ID. Apple will not transfer content from one Apple ID to another and Apple will not merge Apple IDs. Unless you are prepared to forfeit all the previously purchased content and buy it all again with the new Apple ID, you will need to maintain the old ID to update and redownload your content.

Documents in Safari no longer give me the option to open in iBooks. What happened???

The link to pdf documents, from Safari to iBooks, has ceased to exist on my iPad. What happened & how to fix??? In the past, when opening a pdf thru Safari, just tapping on it, brought up the option to "Open in iBooks", but it no longer pops up. Ugh. Help??

That's correct. You will need to open the PDF in Safari first, then tap Open in "iBooks" (or "Open in ..." to send to other available apps). If the tool bar for this isn't readily visible, tap anywhere on the document to display it.

I made an insurance claim and had to get a new iPhone. I have the 5, not the newest 5s or 5c, the previous 5. When I am NOT plugged into my MacBook I cannot access "my library" of songs that are on my macbook. I have an iphone 3G which has been disabled after a child tried to get into it. Itunes will not connect until I have put the passcode in but the device will only enable emergency calls and does not allow a passcode to be put in. I have put it into recovery mode and itunes can't see it. There is currently no SIM card in it and it's not connectng to the wifi so I can't wipe it from the cloud. Any ideas how I can get into it?

iPhones require a SIM for activation.

After I import pictures, iPhoto no longer gives me the option to delete them. How can I fix this?

Normally when you're finished uploading a selection of pictures to iPhoto, a screen pops up asking if you want to delete the recent import of pictures [from the SD card] but my iPhoto is no longer asking me. Never let your computer erase data without you first checking that the data is safe. Specifically never use iPhoto (or any other app) to delete the photos from your Camera Card. Disconnect the camera, check the transfer has gone correctly and then use your Camera to Reformat the Card. This has three advantages:
1. You know your data is safe - because you've taken the time to check it.
2. Reformatting the card is much, much faster - takes a couple of seconds
3. Reformatting also refreshes the Directory Structure on the Card, helping prevent issues with the card and prolonging its life.

Sorry, but there's no way to force the iTunes Store to use your credit card. If there's a credit balance available, purchases will be deducted from that first.

I cannot connect to my camera at all. I have tried turning it off then on and downloading all the camera apps but it still won't work. My iPod doesn't even give me the option to use anywhere.

My iPod doesn't give me any choice to access the camera. I have tried sownloading a camera app and restarting my iPod but when I had the camera app the screen just turned black. Any idea what's going on?

Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order

ITunes 8.1 no longer gives option to skip adding duplicate songs to iPod

When I begin to add songs to my iPod or a playlist, I've noticed that iTunes 8.1 no longer gives me the option (through a small pop-up window) to skip transferring any songs that already exist on that iPod or playlist.
This was a great feature: I could drag a whole set of songs and rely on iTunes to weed out any songs from the transfer that would cause duplicates on my iPod or a new playlist.
The option said something like you are about to add duplicates and allowed me to select "Skip" or "Add".
I can't find this option in Preferences. Has anyone been able to re-enable this?
