My eFax suddenly stopped working. eFax asks for login and pin and does not connect.

Is there a time limit on the free eFax?  After 3 years suddenly stopped working.  Login no longer successful.

I understand that you are having a problem with the eFax feature on your Photosmart 7510.
I would like to help.
There is no Time limit for the service.
There is actually a bit of a server issue of some kind.
Currently not details have been released.

    Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7)  and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account.

    Why has my 8x8 desktop app on my Macbook Pro running OS X Yosimite 10.10.1 suddenly stopped working while the app on my iPhone and the online service both work fine? Is this because of some recent software update by Apple? 8x8 support acknowledges issues with no current work-arounds? The 8x8 desktop app worked until early December, then quit. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app, but no difference.

    The solution is :
    1. Delete iPhone configuration utility. Just drop it to the trash
    2. Run
    sudo rm -rf /private/var/db/receipts/com.apple.pkg.iPhoneConfigurationUtility.*
    rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iPhoneConfigurationUtility.plist*
    3. Delete the whole folder: /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext
    4. Reinstall iTunes (just over the previous one)
    5. Restart

    Please then use your web Browser  address http://www.adobe.com/  and sign in with your Adobe User ID and Password to your account the has your Subscription and use https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html capture the page which shows you have a subscription like I showed you I have.
    Open Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application use the APP tab and capture that scree to show Photoshop is installed and up to date like I did. Capture that screen. Show us you have installed Photoshop and its up to date.
    Open Photoshop and use menu Help it should show tha its activated because there will be a menu item Sign Out. If it is Sign In, Sign in  using the account that has the subscription the one you used above to Activate Photoshop.

    Firefox suddenly stopped working. I have tried uninstalling numerous times during the last six months without any success. It appears to download and puts an icon on the desktop but clicking it does not connect me to the internet. Google Chrome and Explorer work but I prefer Firefox. Any ideas to solve this. I am running Microsoft Vista

  • Internet suddenly stopped working on WRT54G for no apparent reason. Any ideas??

    I have a WRT54G v2 that has been working fine until a couple days ago the internet stopped responding.  Internet works fine with direct connection from modem so that isn't the problem.  Internet light on front of router is solid green when internet is plugged into it but computers can't access internet wirelessly or through ethernet connected to router.  All other lights seem to be functioning properly too.  I can ping 192.168.1.1 and can still access the web setup page.  I have flashed most recent firmware and done hard reset several times.  I've tried dhcp and tried setting up a static IP; neither makes a difference. 
    I'm beginning to wonder if this is a hardware issue and the internet port on the router has somehow broken. 
    Has anyone experienced anything like this?  Any ideas/help is appreciated.

    I am having a similar problem with my wrt-54g ver 8 (firmware 8.00.5.002).  i lose internet connection through the router every couple of hours.  direct connections to modem work fine.  i have a switch connected to the router to provide a connection through cat5 in other parts of the house (which are connected to the switch).  the only fix is to unplug the router and restart.  once i do that every computer will work.  i have called tech support at least 8 times.  they sent me a replacement router (same model and firmware) and I'm having the same problems with this one.  they have taken me through numerous resets, reconfigs, including remote access help to address this and the problem continues to occur.  anyone have any suggestions?  my ISP is Cablevision,  Long Island NY. 
    I have one computer directly to the router.  two others through the switch and a printer through the switch.  all are dell machines using XP except for one which is a Vista machiine. 
    any suggestions would be helpful. this is incredibly annoying and tech support so far has been unable to isolate the problem or fix it. 

  • What are 'keychains'??? All of a sudden my computer is asking for passwords to keychains and it is blocking me from my shared iCloud accounts.

    Since I upgraded to the latest iOS7 upgrade, my computer has all of a sudden introduced 'keychains' and is asking for a keychain password. It has totally messed up my icloud and I can no longer see my shared calendars or notes. I can't even log into icloud. How do I delete these keychains and keychain popups from my computer?     I would recommend performing the troubleshooting steps in this article named iOS: Unable to send or receive email found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3899
    Try an alternative Internet connection.
    If your email is provided by your Internet provider, try connecting from the home network.
    If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, try to disable Wi-Fi:  Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
    If not, try a different Wi-Fi network.
    Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
    Delete the account from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then add the email account again on the iOS device.
    If you're still unable to send or receive email, contact your email provider and verify the account settings are correct. You will need to gather this information (PDF).
    If none of that resolves the issue, I would backup and restore the device with iTunes.

  • Subject autofill feature stopped working in gmail for new subjects only - and I'm not the only one - help!

    A few weeks ago subject line autofill for gmail email stopped working. Old subjects from many weeks ago still come up but not new ones. I finally researched in gmail support and see many others with same problem. Gmail says it's a browser issue but settings are correct for remembering history, etc and have not changed. Is there a Firefox fix? Not having this feature is wasting a lot of my (and others) time retyping same subject over and over.

    I will chime in here and confirm that I have the same problem and it is only with Gmail subject lines. Many other websites I frequent such as ebay, amazon, or user forums all remember what I enter in search fields. Problem is, I don't care if they remember or not. I need the subject line in Gmail to remember previous entries and that is the only reason I found this support page in search of a solution.

    I can't get the pop up box for that asks for passwords to stop popping up.  Simply trying to get on the Internet.  I tried reseating the main password using the OS X Install disc and I don't think the keychain has the same password.  Am very confused.

  • I have an "old" Apple ID set up 13 years ago.  Apple has now gone to using email address as the apple ID.  I have apps to update and they ask for old ID.  it does not exist.  How can I get the ID on the app changed to the new apple ID

    I set up an apple id many years ago when itunes was established.  Within the past year or so, Apple has changed to using email address as user id.  My problem is that I have many applications that I can not update due to the fact that it is asking for the password of the old ID.  It does not exist anymore.  Any ideas on how to get the new apple id associated with the application without deleting the application.  Several of these apps I purchased.

    You can not merge accounts.
    Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

    Your signature says you are using 10.5.7 - is this correct? (If it isn't, please amend it to prevent confusion).
    Leopard is not compliant with iCloud. If you are using it you have been using MobileMe's email settings, which sometimes continue to work for a time after migration but then get turned off. iCloud's mail server settings are different. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
    Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

  • Print to pdf: Asks for name of file, but does not actually print a pdf file.

    Printing to PDF:  When I have text in MS Word, or Notepad and I want to print it as a PDF file, when I attempt to do so.  The widget stating now printing foo.txt comes up  (in the printer spooler window foo.txt - Notepad is seen), then the save as insert filename hit "save" button ( foo.txt no longer in spooler window) and in notepad I get invalid handle.
    If done in ms word.  same as above accept spooler shows foo.docx. and no invalid handle diagnostic.
