My iCloud apple id is my old id, which i do not know the password for. Since this email is no longer working, i cannot reset the password on it. Recently my iPhone has been asking me to sign into my iCloud id which i have been unable to do. Help?
As i dont know the password, it is restricting my use of the phone, as the verification box contiually reappears. It has stopped doing it now for reasons i do not know, but how can i prevent this in the future?
Call Apple and speak to someone in account security. Fix the problem with your account.

7.1.1 is certainly compatible with the iPhone 4. Just try a reset first.
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss) -

I'm trying to activate my 2nd generation apple iPad. It wants me to sign in with the original apple id used to set it up. I no longer use it and don't know the password to the apple id. Also, the email used to set it up has been deactivated. Can anyone help???
If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

I was trying to add and app to my iphone and was not able to do so. It wanted updated credit information. So, I entered it and it will not accept the month of experation. I have shut the phone down, sync it to the computer to update. Will not work. What can I do to continue?

Whenever I update my iPhone software, it asks me to sign in to iCloud with an old email address. My other devices all have the correct address. How can I get the correct address for my iPhone? The only Apple ID that works for logging in is my new one.
To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I have change my Apple id and now my phone cant sign into i cloud. I dont have the old pas word to delete the old account. It will not stop asking for the icloud id.
ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password. Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.
