I can get everything else on Apple TV but not my apps under the caption "computers" says no content in this library

If it's not available in your country and you do not have a copy of it in iTunes backed up on your computer, you don't.

I have lost my apps for my ipad when I did a sync. Not sure why, maybe because I had to replace a hard drive. How do I get my apps back, a lot of them.

My hard drive got corrupted and I had to install a new hard drive and when I opened iTunes it asked if I wanted to sync which it did but then I lost all my apps I had on my iPad. I dont know why. I tried restoring from a previous backup, but that didn't work. I know I can reinstall the apps but I dont even remember all the ones I did have. Can anyone help.

The apps that you had will be listed in your purchase history if you login to your account in iTunes on your computer - the list isn't very user friendly though as it's listed by date order and will include all app updates that you've downloaded (so an app will appear multiple times if you've downloaded it's updates). You can re-download apps, though it's a manual process as you need to find them yourself in the app store : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 .
If the apps are in your iTunes library then the restore might work - a backup contains app data/settings, but not the app itself, so without the app available to it the restore can't install the app and therefore it's content.

Do you have the box the MBA came in? That will have the serial number on it.
Do you have an Apple receipt for it? That wil have the serial number on it.

Authorize the computer in iTunes -- Store>Authorizie this computer. Transfer the purchases from the iPad into iTunes and then you can sync with iTunes. Read this for instructions on transferring purchases from the iPad into iTunes.

You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. If you are getting an 'invalid security code' message then is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :

and in the accompanying documents linked from that page. Syncing your iPad with iTunes copies items, it doesn't move them. The only way apps would be actually removed from your iPad during syncing is if you had iTunes set to remove them on syncing, so check the appropriate settings in iTunes, set the book to sync as well, and then sync the iPad again.
