Hi there, this problem has probably been resolved now, but I must say that I came across these posts today as I had the same problem, my old e mail kept popping up, but all sorted now! Old Apps are not tied to the old Apple ID, honestly!
Rudegar is so right, all you do is go the SETTINGS/iTunes & App Store, then select `Apple ID` `Sign Out` then you get the chance to enter your new ID, and it worked a treat!
Good luck with anyone else with this problem, as I spent so long on this, really stupid!
PS you`ll need to again verify bank details

I have the iphone 4 and when syncing my iphone an error message appears half way through saying "itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone cannot be determined" can anyone help? I cant back up my iphone as this appears every time :-(
As another post suggested, I restarted both the iPhone and the computer, and that fixed the problem.

I am trying to open a MPEG video clip using Quicktime and it wont let me, keeps saying a codec is required. So I click on tell me more, have downloaded Quicktime 7 on numerous occasions thinking this was the problem, and it still wont let me open in. Really confused! Can anyone help???

For the charging via USB, a lot of computers don't provide enough power to their USB ports to charge an iPad at a sufficient rate (it may still be charging, especially if the iPad's is locked and the screen is off), the iPad's own wall charger is generally the best way to charge it. -

I'm sorry no-one has answered you yet - I'm afraid I don't know the answer to the question: but I wanted to put into your mind that starting up with AppleWorks at this stage isn't a good idea. The program was 'end-of-lifed' years ago, it won't run on Lion, and some of the document types created in it - Databases in particular - cannot be opened at all by any other program whatever. Word Processing documents can be opened in Pages, and Spreadsheets in Numbers (with some reservations in both cases), but building up a collection of AppleWorks documents at this stage is going to lead to problems later on.
It's difficult to know what to recommend for a PowerPC machine that would still be compatible with modern ones. An older version of Microsoft Office, perhaps, if you can find one which will run on PPC; but most of the modern Word Processors are Intel only. This is something you would need to investigate. -
i connected to itunes and it says i have 2.11 GB of space taken up under OTHER , i cant figure out what is taking up so much space can anyone help?
I believe the new IOS 8 system takes up 1.3 Gb on it's own. Then plus anything else you may have loaded.

So that is a mystery. However the part about:
Go back to System Preferences > Network
Make sure the box is selected next to: Show Wi-Fi status i menu bar. Solved the problem. Somehow the box had been unchecked. Gremlins I guess!

You want to just use Dropbox until the dust settles. To use it from iWork for iOS (assuming you have the Dropbox app installed on your device), open the document in Keynote (for example), tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), choose Open in Another App, choose Keynote as your format, then choose Open in Dropbox and you will get an option to save it to your Dropbox account. To open it from Dropbox in iWork for iOS, open the document in the Dropbox app, tap the share icon, tap Open in Keynote (for example). It's a bit clunky, but works.

If you have VoiceOver turned 'on', then you need to touch or tap the field that you want to use/select and it should get a box around it ; then double-tap that field to activate/type it.
So if you are on the 'slide to unlock' screen, you first need to tap the 'slide to unlock' button to highlight it (it should get a box around it), then double-tap it to unlock it. Then for your passcode tap the digit that you want and it should get a box around it; then double-tap that digit to type it; and similar for the other three digits in your passcode. Once you've entered your password you can do the same (i.e. touch to select, double-tap to activate) to gradually get into Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver and turn it off.
The manual (http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad) also says that you should be able to switch voice-over off by connecting to your computer's iTunes :
Turn VoiceOver on or off in iTunes: Select iPad in the iTunes sidebar. In the Options section of the Summary pane, click Configure Universal Access. Select VoiceOver, then click OK.
So select Configure Universal Access at the bottom of the Summary tab and set Seeing to Neither
